Lij Shaw is an award winning, chart breaking music and podcast producer, recording engineer, musician, and owner of a Grammy awarded recording studio, The Toy Box Studio in East Nashville TN. He has produced and recorded many records awarded praise in Rolling Stone, and Spin Magazine for work with artists such as The Spinto Band, Deer Tick, The Living Things, Jill Sobule, and Glenn Tilbrook, Rosco Gordon, and Twiggs. His musical productions have been used in television and film soundtracks, including the Cingular Razor commercial for the 2005 Superbowl. He discusses his career as a producer in Nashville, the Hay Bale Studio at Bonnaroo, and the risks of owning a home studio in Nashville.
