Fred Hale and Andy 'Moose' Muse make up two fifths of UK Southern Rock band Sons of Liberty. Fred and Moose kindly took time out to chat with Mike about the southern rock album that started it all - the debut album from Lynyrd Skynyrd.

After ten years on the live circuit, Skynyrd took full advantage of their big break. Together Fred, Moose and Mike explore why the songs on 'Pronounced' have endured so strongly for nearly 50 years.

How did Ronnie Van Zant react when producer Al Kooper wanted 'Simple Man' kept off the album?

What does Moose make of Metallica's cover of 'Tuesday's Gone'?

Why does 'Free Bird' end with that iconic instrumental jam?

PLUS: Enjoy 'I Come In Peace', a track from Sons of Liberty's latest album 'Aces and Eights'.

A southern fried good time on this episode of 'My Classic Album'.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
