We talked a lot today about themes related to controlling your potentially damaging behaviors despite whatever your brain might be telling you about "reality". In particular related to relationships which might be experiencing difficulties due to covid isolation. We also got into talks about dealing with memory loss and its relation to trauma, depression, and adhd. The themes of values and boundaries also came up as Dr. Nick answered some questions about how to healthily distance oneself from a negative mental experience without propelling into a full dissociative experience. It was a good one with some great questions from listeners. If you'd like to submit some questions of your own, please send them to mygoodbadbrain@gmail.com we'd love to have them.
