Det handler først om et drab på en helt ung kvinde i Kolding, der ifølge morderen skyldtes, at hun ikke havde været grundig nok med husholdningen. Blandt andet havde hun nægtet at smøre hans madpakke. Men var det virkelig hendes sjusk og sløseri i hjemmet, som han kaldte det, der var motivet til forbrydelsen? Det fastholdt han, selvom gerningsstedet fortalte en anden historie. Desværre blev det langt fra sidste gang, han beviste, at han var for farlig til at være en fri mand. Bagefter taler vi om et ildevarslende opkald til et forældrepar fra deres datters kæreste. Hun var ikke kommet hjem fra skole, fortalte han, og nu var det blevet aften. Men da moren foreslog at komme forbi lejligheden, så de sammen kunne finde ud af, hvad der foregik, råbte svigersønnen straks nej og smækkede røret på.
