Unos 5.000 kilómetros separan Pamplona y Bissau, un pequeño país de África Occidental que le robó el corazón a Sonia Cámara, conocida en redes sociales como “Mamá de Rizos". Influencer, enfermera, cooperante... después de recorrerse Ecuador, Perú o la India, sintió la necesidad realizar labores humanitarias primero en Bangladesh y finalmente en Guinea-Bissau. Y como “la persona que regresa de un viaje jamás es la misma que se fue”, como solía decir, en su última misión conoció a Mamadu Nfamara, un trabajador local del que se enamoró y con el que comenzó una nueva vida en su Pamplona natal contra todo pronóstico y contra todo prejuicio. Sonia falleció en 2023 debido a un cáncer pero antes dejó por escrito todas sus aventuras en el libro “Te encontré en Bissau”, del que hoy hablamos con su marido.
