2025 Show Notes Amendment: I love the setup we have here where on the first day of the month, we released our final ever TwoFer Tuesday, and now, here at the last day of the month, we re-release our first ever TwoFer Tuesday! It feels like a wonder twist on "bookends". As always when re-running early episodes, please excuse the atrocious production quality. One of my favorite things looking back on the early episodes of the show is how "different, yet the same" they are. From a sound quality perspective, the differences are night and day in every aspect. But in terms of show format and events, other than missing the now customary summary introduction, and the fact that they've gradually gotten longer over the years, it's the same darned show that it's always been. And what the early episodes lack in polish and finesse and technique and maturity, they somewhat make up for in youthful exuberance and wide-eyed optimism, and a simply innocent fun. You've heard the latest and greatest of TwoFer Tuesday this month, now hear the awkward first baby steps!....different....yet the same.... Lastly, I had toyed with the idea of doing three reruns this month - today's rerun, as well as the two highlighted April Fool's episodes: 2020's "Backtracks" (where all the tracks played in reverse), and 2024's "Parallels" (where all the tracks played over top of each other all at once). But I had procrastinated, and now it's the last day of the month, and it would simply obscene of me to upload three reruns in one day. So the compromise that I settled on was to include links to them here in the show notes, in case you wanted to revisit them (or perhaps experience them for the first time). So, here are the links, Backtracks first, then Parallels. In terms of production value, Backtracks is dramatically better than today's rerun, but also dramatically lesser than our current works, whereas Parallels is very close to our current level of production : https://nerdnoiseradio.podbean.com/e/noise-from-the-hearts-of-nerds-c1e52-backtracks/

And now, the [otherwise unmodified] original episode shownotes! Enjoy! -------------------------------------------------------------------
