Dr. Stephen L. Chew is Professor and Chair of Psychology at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology, and his career has focused on improving both teaching practice and student learning. He is the creator of a groundbreaking series of YouTube videos on how to study effectively that have been viewed almost 3 million times. Dr. Stephen L. Chew is the recipient of multiple national awards for his teaching and research, including being named U.S. Professor of the Year in 2011 and receiving the Charles Brewer Award for Distinguished Teaching of Psychology in 2018.
