Longtime friends Danny Beck and Councilman Jim Thomasson recently caught up to talk about the upcoming Rock and Road Criterium, set for April 12 in downtown Newnan. The two have shared a passion for cycling and wellness for years, making this event particularly exciting for them.
Thomasson, who previously ran a tech company while fueling his love for race cars, is now focused on commercial real estate and community development. His firm, 75 Jackson, is the title sponsor behind the criterium, helping bring the high-energy event to Newnan.
The Rock and Road Criterium is a free, family-friendly festival featuring live music, a car show, a kids' zone, and high-speed cycling action. Local racers will take on a challenging downtown course as crowds cheer them on, making for an adrenaline-filled day.
