The latest NewsBusters study found 573 minutes of Trump-trial coverage on ABC, CBS, and NBC, but less than eight minutes for Sen. Bob "Gold Bars" Menendez, Democrat of New Jersey. It's funny how GOP scandals always "overshadow" the Democrats when the networks create the "news."

The New York Times considered it front-page material that leftist neighbors snitched on Supreme Court justice Sam Alito. A flag flew upside-down in his yard after January 6. The networks launched critical stories. The same Democrat rag published an assassination threat to Justice Kavanaugh two years ago on Page A-20.

Part of the endless Trump trial coverage on MSNBC was 'The Last Word' host Lawrence O'Donnell reading what sounded like bad diary entries on courtroom happenings. Porn star Stormy Daniels dressed loosely in black, which "suggested the modesty of a nun." How bizarre.

The hush money trial of former President Trump is the only event happening in the world, according to the liberal cable news outlets perched outside the New York City courthouse like vultures. Maybe they'll wrench themselves from this tired beat to obsessively defend Biden from a likely poor showing in a CNN moderated debate with Trump.

Ronald Reagan is suddenly a topic in the liberal media, but only as a lame defense of
President Biden’s betrayal of our ally Israel. ABC, CBS, and NBC all offered this talking point. Jorge Bonilla explains the Sunday spin.

Hillary Clinton was the big guest Thursday on MSNBC's Morning Joe, and unloaded all the "Trump is Hitler" talk (goaded by Joe) and the hypocritical notes on Trump squashing stories about alleged sexual escapades.

The House Republicans on the Energy & Commerce Committee invited me to testify about allegations of bias at National Public Radio. How did it go? What was it like? Is there any hope that NPR will change its biased ways? Don't be wildly optimistic.

NBC's "Saturday Night Live" mocked the media consumption of Trump backers. Biden voters get their news from newspapers, while "Trump supporters get their news from T-shirts!" Shirts that say "Joe Biden Sucks." The Left can't stand that the GOP half of the country doesn't trust them one bit. So they must all be stupid.

Washington Post media blogger Erik Wemple reported the New York Times is demanding an interview with President Biden, insisting his extreme reluctance is setting a dangerous precedent. Biden responding by mocking the Times as less important than Howard Stern's show at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

Colleges are being occupied by "pro-Palestinian protesters," and you can't (accurately) call them "anti-Israel," not to mention "pro-Hamas." Liberals paint other liberals as pro-everything good, and the conservatives are anti-everything good. Anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-government, anti-tax. All of this is messaging, like advertising slogans.

The White House Correspondents Dinner airs live on CNN, with hours of journalists honoring themselves and how essential they are to America. Often, they are urged to push their bias harder -- "foot on the gas" against Republicans.

CNN primetime host Kaitlan Collins gushed over former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson for 20 minutes on April 24. Hutchinson nailed all the CNN-pleasing talking points, especially the paranoia that this could be the last election in America if Trump wins.

ABC and CBS almost completely refuse to identify Trump's elected Democrat prosecutors -- Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, and Fani Willis -- as Democrats, and certainly not Democrats elected on a promise to get Trump. NBC dabbles with the D. Rich Noyes explains his latest study numbers and projects it into this election year.

As pro-Biden media outlets argue that Donald Trump's criticism of his legal adversaries is endangering lives, Hillary Clinton claimed on a podcast that Trump would like to "kill his opposition," and the media find that's not dangerously suggestive. Democrats tweeting "Die MAGA Die" shouldn't be questioned.

The Manhattan trial of Donald Trump on "hush money" charges drew hundreds of minutes of TV obsession. Meanwhile, the impeachment of Homeland Security Mayorkas was briefly covered and derided as a partisan stunt. Curtis Houck has the details and clips.

After stirring up a hornet's nest at NPR about a leftist tilt, senior editor Uri Berliner resigned Wednesday, but that doesn't mean NPR types can refute his argument on their insularity and intolerance. New CEO Katherine Maher insulted Berliner as attacking staffers for "who they are," and as it turns out, at Wikipedia she refused to tolerate "misinformation" on COVID before they knew much about it.

On his Real Time show on HBO, Bill Maher bluntly agreed that abortion is murder, and he favors it, since there are eight million people on Earth already. Journalists and comedians scream "False" when people tell the truth about Democrats favoring abortion until birth. And NPR's new CEO sends a love note to staff without engaging with an insider's account of leftist bias.

NewsBusters can tell you National Public Radio has demonstrated a leftist bent from the beginning. Nina Totenberg destroyed the Douglas Ginsburg nomination to the Supreme Court, then tried again with Clarence Thomas. This animus against conservatives didn't kick in when Donald Trump ran for president.

While USA Today fact-checking boss Eric Litke says fact-checkers should be "obsessed with fairness," our latest NewsBusters study of PolitiFact demonstrates a significant partisan aggression against Republican politicians.

As the media bring their leftist lens to the "culture wars" and religion in politics, they're prone to simplifying everything and only covering religion when it intrudes on the new orthodoxy of wokeness. Terry Mattingly operated the site GetReligion for 20 years, and he explains how he assesses the media's handling of religion stories.
