إِلَهِى لَئِنْ طَلَبْتَنِى بِذَنْبِى لَاَطْلُبَنَّكَ بِعَفْوِكَ وَلَئِنْ طَالَبْتَنِى بِبُخْلِى لَاَطْلُبَنَّكَ بِسَخَائِكَ وَلَئِنْ اَدْخَلْتَنِى النَّارَ لَاَخْبَرْتُ اَهْلَ النَّارَ بِاَنِّى اُحِبُّكَ.
Sebagaimana yang diriwayatkan dari Abdurrahman bin Athiyah, bahwa dalam doanya Imam Abu Sulaiman Ad Darani ra. menuntut kepada Allah SWT. Sebagai berikut:
"Wahai Tuhanku, apabila Engkau memuntunku karena dosaku, maka akupun akan menuntut kepada Mu akan ampunanMu. Dan apabila Engkau menuntutku karena kebakhilanku, maka akupun akan menuntut kepadaMu akan kedermawananMu. Dan apabila Engkau memasukkan aku ke dalam neraka, maka akan aku sampaikan kepada para ahli neraka, bahwa sesungguhnya aku sangat mencintaiMu."

اَسْعَدُ النَّاسِ مَنْ لَهُ قَلْبٌ عَالِمٌ وَبَدَن ٌصَابِرٌ وَ قَنَاعَةٌ بِمَا فِى الْيَدِ .
"Orang yang paling berbahagia adalah orang yang mempunyai hati yang alim, badan yang sabar dan merasa puas terhadap apa yang ada di tangannya."
Keterangan :
Qana`ah adalah menerima pemberian Allah dengan senang hati (menerima apa adanya).
