Knowing our love for (and fear of) all things Michael Myers, friend of the podcast, Jake, told us he had an idea: to cover all of the Halloween films*, but in reverse. We loved the idea of exploring new territory, and the opportunity to break out of the 90s. As this was Jake's brainchild, it's only fitting to invite him along for the ride. Join us as we go from the recent to the original John Carpenter classic, all leading up to October 31st. We're calling it Halloween Rewind, and we're excited to talk about these films in our own backwards way!
Tonight we start with what is currently the most recent film in the franchise, 2021's Halloween Kills. Michael gets his hands bloodier than ever before as he continues his 2018 rampage through Haddonfield. This has got to be the longest Halloween night ever.
How does this film fit into the timeline? How does Michael's mask look? What's on the soundtrack? How many kills does Michael rack up? Does evil die tonight? These are the questions we'll try to answer every episode.
