Un día como hoy, 18 de agosto de 1936, el poeta Federico García Lorca fue fusilado por los falangistas/la derecha española. Tres días después comenzó lo que se conocería como la Guerra Civil Española, liderada por Francisco Franco y el choque contra los Republicanos. Al Franco ganar la guerra, España comienza a vivir bajo la dictadura, la represión franquista, eso incluyendo fusilamientos y la muerte de 13 jóvenes que luchaban por la democracia, conocidas como las 13 Rosas.
