Ready to discover what happens when authentic country meets trap music? Buckle up as we welcome B Myers, a groundbreaking artist bringing a fresh sound straight from the backroads of Indian Trail, North Carolina.

"I'm a southern country baby, off cornbread, that's my raisin'," declares B Myers, whose musical journey began in a place of struggle. Turning pain into poetry and eventually into studio sessions, B found his voice in a unique blend of country trap that speaks to his Southern roots. The authenticity in his storytelling resonates throughout our conversation – from off-roading in his first Jeep to the cultural significance of grits over oatmeal.

What sets B apart in today's music landscape? His profound understanding that "what's life without soul?" This philosophy has earned him recognition from industry heavyweights, including Dallas Austin, who was caught singing B's songs around his house. We dive deep into B's signing with Quality Entertainment, exploring how prayer and persistence led to this career-defining moment.

The conversation takes fascinating turns as B shares his musical influences spanning from George Jones to Drake, demonstrating how his sound naturally bridges different worlds. His perspectives on the evolution of country music, particularly the rising country soul movement, offer valuable insights into where the genre is heading.

Beyond music, B opens up about personal growth through self-reflection and application – wisdom that transcends the industry. His journey reminds us that authentic storytelling will always find its audience, especially when rooted in lived experience.

Whether you're a country music devotee, a hip-hop head, or simply love a good underdog story, this episode delivers heart, humor, and a reminder that the most powerful music comes from staying true to who you are. Check out B Myers on all streaming platforms and follow his rising career – this is one artist who's just getting started.

Yes, sir, and that's just byasking you three simple
questions.
You ready, yep, who you are, where you from and what the fuck
you do.

Speaker 6 (09:02):
My name is B Myers.
I am from Indian Trail, northCarolina.
Shout out to Trails, all right, and I make country music.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
All right, that's fire and I got my music on the
ground.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
First country artist.
This is yours.
I think it's our first countryartist, yours.
That's what's up, is it?

Speaker 6 (09:19):
That's what's up.
First country artist.
Pleasure to be here.
Pleasure to be here, that's anhonor, yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
That's what's up.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
Yeah, thank y'all, I appreciate it, man.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
I'm excited to be here.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
I really am excited to be here and I'm glad you did
your research.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
I'm glad you saw.
You said who the last guest was.
Yeah, that's what's up.
I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Shout out.
For the people who may beunfamiliar with you, I always
like to ask this as my firstquestion Can you just kind of
give the people a backgroundinto your music journey and how
you got started with it?

Speaker 6 (09:51):
Background into my music journey.
I was struggling.
I was in a place in my lifewhere I'm not sure how I even
got there, Talk about it.
I was looking for answers.
There was nobody to try andeven lend some answers.
There was nowhere to findanswers.
I was in a very frustratingplace and I started writing.

(10:16):
I was basically taking myfeelings, my emotions, all that
and just writing it down andeventually I had to get it off
my chest and it took me to thestudio.
It actually took me to polo'sfirst studio ever over there

(10:37):
yeah, yes, sir polo right bythat qt and and my first session
ever, I drove to the studio inthe snow.
I wasn't even sure if it wasstill going to be a thing or not
.
I was like I don't know, butit's scheduled, so I'm going.
And I got there, sonny wasthere and he was like I wasn't
sure if you were going to showup.

(10:58):
I was like I wasn't sure if youwere going to be here.
They went in there and juststarted flowing and I started
writing and rap for him becausethat's really all I knew.
Um, I didn't know anything else.
So that's how I started writingit down, went to the studio and
got that off my chest, rapped afew times and then freestyled a

(11:20):
song.
Walking through my parentshouse one day, walking through
the laundry room, just startedfreestyle singing and I was like
yo, that actually kind of hits.
So I sat down and wrote it andthe rest is history, man.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
The rest really is history.
So let's talk about your sound, right, because a lot of you
know there's a lot of differentsounds.
We got country pop, we gotcountry soul.
You know whatever genre youwant to place it.
So what is your style ofcountry music?
What is your sound?

Speaker 6 (11:51):
I would say when it boils down to the essence of it,
deep down, I would say thecountry trap is what ultimately
comes out when it factors intowho I am, where I'm from, the
stories I have to tell and theway I have pieced it all
together up to this point forsure.
Also, I am a traditionalist man.

(12:12):
I love traditional country.
So I've been sitting there withmy guitar for the past week or
so just picking it up, strummingnot playing a lick of nothing,
to be honest, but strumming fora melody, a tune, some kind of
rhythm, and sitting there andstart singing, man, and I've
found that when I freestyle sing, like when I just start singing

(12:36):
songs and freestyle withsinging, I have a really good
success rate, I would say, and Ican go either way, right, but
it all depends on that mood atthe moment.
Am I, am I trying to slow itdown, or am I lit right now?
Right?

Speaker 2 (12:56):
you know what I mean and it goes both ways so you
said country trap, which is aninteresting, um kind of
collision right there with youdoing like that country trap,
rap and rapping country music.
I say I tell people all thetime like the two genres that
like is really storytellinggenres like all music always
tells a story but country andrap like really tells a story

(13:19):
for real.
How do you feel like your storyfits into both worlds of rap
and country?

Speaker 6 (13:23):
Perfectly, in all honesty, without going too
elaborate, too deep.
Perfectly Timing is everything.
I talked to Coco Filipina theother day and she was like I've
known you for a minute andyou're actually kind of ahead of
the curve of what's going onright now.
She was like and you did itjust by being you.
And I mean when somebody sayssomething like that that you

(13:48):
know is just like to the coretruth, it resonates to the point
where you can't get it out ofyour head.
And she said that I've nevergone there and gone out of my
way to say like no, I've beendoing this, I've been doing none
of that.
Just, she was like and you didit just by being you.
And I was like there's facts Ireally have from where I'm from,

(14:09):
from the stories that I'velived and the music that has
brought me up.
I've found a way to mold it alltogether and it's been a
beautiful process for me, butalso a beautiful thing to watch.
As far as the collaborationsthat go on with what's going on
mainstream, like big x, the plugand bailey zimmerman oh, stuff

(14:30):
like that even more, go on.
And money bag yo, stuff likethat, like shout out to all
those guys for the fact thatthey've allowed it to come
together and be something thatit could be, and I'm just
appreciative of the fact thatit's being accepted the way it
is.
And even traditional countryartists like, for instance, john

(14:52):
party, one that does um moreswing type, traditional type.
He's like I love wherecountry's at these days, because
everybody's bringing their ownstuff of what they came up on to
it.
And at this point I don't evenknow what country music is and
when I saw someone of thatstature and that knowledge of

(15:13):
the history of it make that kindof comment, I was like this is
where it's at Right, we're onboard, yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
You know what I mean, so let's take it back.
Right?
You said Indian trail.
You know what I mean, so let'stake it back.
You said Indian Trail.

Speaker 6 (15:25):
North Carolina, south Carolina North.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Carolina, take it back to the essence, because you
said your upbringing and whatyou've been through.
So take us back to Indian Trail.
What molded you into B Myers?
The country artist.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Let me say before you get started, for everybody
who's not from North CarolinaIndian Trail is the fucking
country, baby.
That is some country Out there.
They breathe good music andbeefy-ass niggas to play
football Okay.

Speaker 6 (15:50):
And I'm just being honest.
You know we got superstars fromIndian Trail, literally niggas
that Been in the league could'vemade it to the league.
Hit the league.
That's where they send theirkids.
They send their kids to beefhim up, beat him and play
football out in Indian Trail.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
So that's the country , baby.
No relation, we really norelation to Charlotte, but
that's our cousin.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (16:09):
Still four, still four, still four.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Who Indian Trail?
No, no, no, baby, I'm fromBayness Fort the Charlotte.
But that's why I said IndianTrail is our cousin.
For real, that's our cousin.
Yeah, they still 704.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
It's just a cousin.
That's what I was asking.
Like when they make the bigleague you didn't say Indian
Trail.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Oh, they say from Charlotte.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Oh.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
Who went?

Speaker 1 (16:38):
It's somebody, I think, that played for the
Eagles.
That's from Indian Trail.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
So the question was who went to the big leagues from
Indian Trail?
Well, actually, the Redskinsdrafted Sam Howell.
Sam Howell, he graduated fromSun Valley Shout out to Sun
Valley, by the way, footballFootball.
But the Eagles.
Yes, the Eagles just had aplayer that came from Weddington

(17:09):
High School.
So he graduated from WeddingtonHigh School.
He just won a Super Bowl ring.
So technically, union Countyhas a Super Bowl ring right now.
Because with the Eagles?
Yeah, because he went, I don'tknow his name.
They did score a touchdown.
I know he scored a touchdown.
Yep, it was in.
I think it was in the playoffgame before the Super Bowl.

(17:31):
He ran a touchdown.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
I think it was in the playoff game before the Super.

Speaker 6 (17:36):
Bowl.
He ran a touchdown.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
You got a ring, bro, I think.
Mm-hmm, Congratulations, right,you got a ring.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
Facts you got a ring, bro.
Facts you can't even hear whathe's saying.
If you got a ring, his name isWill.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Shipley.
That what Mm-hmm.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
Running back?

Speaker 6 (17:52):
yep, he didn running back, yep so b let's go back to
the question.
Yeah, the question was whatabout?
Any entrail has made me thecountry artist?
Yes, the trees, the mud holes, the off-roading, the what are we
gonna do tonight?
Because we don't have the gasto drive to charlotte?

(18:12):
All that?
That's the first time we saylike we claim charlotte because
there wasn't nowhere else to go,other than that it was trouble,
off-road, back roads, fire.
Here come the cops.
What are we doing all that?

Speaker 2 (18:25):
literally the first time I went to india trail, I
was doing some atv riding.

Speaker 6 (18:28):
Yeah, literally exactly I had a jeep.
My first vehicle was a jeep, soI was always.
I told my best friend on theway home from school one day I
was like you know what I likeabout jeep so much.
He was like what?
And I just went and went offthe road and started driving and
then got back on the road.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
He was like.
I was like hey man, that's thecountry baby.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
That's just what it is.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
That's just what it is.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
So with that, you know those experiences.
How did that fit into yourmusic?

Speaker 6 (19:03):
All of it, every bit of it.
Country baby, I'm a southerncountry baby, off cornbread,
that's my raisin.
Southern country be the placeI'm going to die Tracked up and
down these mountains.
Mud holes yeah, I found them.
Gravel roads and behind them, factor eyes.
You know, these skies out herecan take your breath away.
You ain't never seen a queenrock.
Some jeans this way.
I guarantee you'll fall in lovefrom the moment that you cross

(19:26):
in.
You might never cross again.
Talk about these jeans, dammit.
These trees are big with oxygensupply.
Anybody with hospitality, comeon by.
Grits are a must.
We ain't gotta worry about rustunless we just left the mud and
ain't washed off good enough.
Talk about it, because if youdon't wash the mud off, your
frame's gonna rust out.

(19:47):
Talk about it.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Up north it's salt.

Speaker 6 (19:50):
Up north it's salt, Down here is mud.
And as fuck you think of that?
You know that eat cream ofwheat.
Up north it's salt, Down hereis mud.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
And the.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
Thing is when they salt the roads around here.
You know you need to wash thatstuff off Because that humidity
mixing with that salt, boom, there goes your frame.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
That shit crazy, so my man just broke it down.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Can you tell the people in the camera one more
time grits are a what.

Speaker 6 (20:13):
Grits are a must.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
We don't do oatmeal cream or wheat?
Ass niggas, it's grits.

My mom made country fried steakthe other day.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
I have not gotten the concept of cream of wheat.
What the fuck is that?

Speaker 3 (21:06):
I don't do.
I think that's oatmeal.
Why would you want oatmeal whenthere are grits?
Some people eat mean, somepeople eat oatmeal, some people
eat grits.
I mean, I eat oatmeal.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
I eat oatmeal, but I prefer grits.

yes absolutely.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
You got on boots.
Right now what you think, andthem boots probably was like a
hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
To be honest, those are probably a hundred more, I
wish cowboy boots like two andbetter.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
I like Boot Barn.
They be expensive.
Boot Barn is nice with it.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
They got some nice boots in there.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
Boot Barn is nice with it, I like.
I like Lebo's Boot barn is nice.
That's why I got my Beyonceboots for them, yeah them.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Cowboy boots cost like two and better them shit's
so cheap?

Speaker 6 (22:13):
Yeah, cowboy boots aren't expensive but they're
good, Depending on what you find.
Yeah, they're not cheap.
They're not cheap at all.
They're not cheap.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
B-Mart.
He ain't got his boots on theground, so being that you
mentioned boots on the ground.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
That's like a line dance song.
I know a lot of them deal withline dancing.
Did you ever maybe you did, maybe you didn't think about it
ever think about doing a linedance type song?

Speaker 6 (22:36):
I have a song called Two Step and you couldn't why
you ain't send that.
I was going to God send that,Alright.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Yeah, send that.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
That's lit.
You gotta step to it.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
It tells you the steps in it.
Two steps to the left.
Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
Two steps to the right.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Send that beat.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
I want to feel like I'm in Coyote.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
Ugly, send that, send that.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Yeah, I want to feel like I'm in Coyote Ugly.
So how do you feel about that?

Speaker 3 (23:04):
How do you feel about country music and line dancing?
How do you feel about that?

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Because that crazy is crazy right now.

Speaker 6 (23:12):
It's crazy, right now it goes hand in hand.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
It's like shrimp and grits.
I like him, I like him, I likehim.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
He's invited to the barbecue.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
To the cookout barbecue.
Yes, so let me ask, since we'retalking about you, know, know,
like boots on the ground, thattype of genre music, how do you
feel about like this whole soulcountry, soul craze, moving?
Do you feel like that's a worldthat you want to be a part of?

Speaker 6 (23:40):
absolutely.
I have a country soul song.
I performed at the chitlinstrut last year, two years ago
what's the?
I'm not familiar it's a chitlinfestival in South Carolina.
It's just straight chitlinstuff, everything is chitlins.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
Everything is chitlins.

Speaker 6 (23:59):
The food and stuff.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
I will tell people, ferifera, I'm southern, down to
the ground I'm a southern bellebut I don't fuck with chitlins.
That's where I draw the fuckingline at.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Chitlins and pig feet is enough.

Speaker 6 (24:11):
What I would say is that it's necessary, because
what's life without soul?

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Oh my.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
God Say that shit Nothing.

Speaker 6 (24:22):
Let's be real, right, so you can have the prettiest
music in the world.
There's artists out there thathave great music, but there
ain't no soul to it.
That's right.
So like, like where you at andwhere'd you go right, what are
you doing?
Right, and the one thing that Ireally appreciate the fact that
people have commented to me onis they're like, bro, you got

(24:45):
soul and I'm like, I appreciatethat black people tell you that.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
If a black person tell you that, they mean yes
that's true.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Yes, pretty much.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
So yeah, you can't tell yeah, oh baby, I heard it
when he said grits was a mustjeans.
I heard, I heard it because aqueen with jeans so I knew
exactly I have to ask who?

Speaker 1 (25:03):
um well, I have two questions for you, okay.
The first one is if you coulddo a feature with any artist, oh
yeah, any genre, mainstream orunderground, who would it be?

Speaker 2 (25:17):
mainstream or underground yeah, or give one of
each any artist at all, anyartist at all.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
Pull him up for the grave if you want to no, let
them rest in peace.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
Let them rest we are not on sinners.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Okay, I didn't say the movie I don't tell anybody.
Don't tell anybody he can useAI go ahead.

Speaker 6 (25:50):
I feel like and I mentioned this man the other day
and he's been a huge part ofjust my appreciation for one,
country music and two, the grindJust because of how long he
grinded before he ever reallygot recognition and he never
changed up the whole time.
Blake Shelton.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Blake Shelton.
I like Blake, I think Blake.

Speaker 6 (26:09):
Shelton would be a dope dude to do a song.
That name hasn't been mentionedin a long time.
Yeah, I like Blake Shelton.
I think Blake Shelton would bea dope dude to do a song that
name hasn't been mentioned in along time.
I like Blake Shelton but thething is that that name will
always be relevant.
That name will always berelevant.
Anybody that knows countrymusic, that knows it like that,

(26:32):
will know that Blake Shelton isAustin.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
I fuck with Blake Blake TV show on.
Is it TNT that late night TVshow he did a Blake got a TV
show when they play games Likecountry games, oh yeah.

Speaker 6 (26:44):
Yeah, I remember that that shit is so fucking good.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Blake Shelton is funny as hell.

Speaker 6 (26:47):
He seems like a heck of a dude too, like his
personality.
His character is him.
He seems like a heck of a dudetoo, like his personality.

Speaker 2 (26:52):
His character is like bro, like him and his wife you
know he married to gwen stefani,so him is my one there, so it's
crazy I want to.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
I want to, uh, talk about the struggle, because you
mentioned that previously and, like a lot of times, when you
look on instagram, everybody'sdoing good.
Nobody want to really talkabout their struggle, right?
So talk about your struggle.
How did you struggle to get towhere you at right now?

Speaker 6 (27:19):
music wise just just in general.
Just in general, I got myselfinto a lot of trouble.
That was self-inflicted, and Iprobably spent a lot of time
sitting there trying to deflectit out on other people and use
that as an excuse.
Not use it as an excuse toboohoo woe is me.

(27:40):
Use it as an excuse to acthowever I wanted, right.
Then it goes from that to okay,I really gotta tighten down and
straighten up.
Now the question is how and Iwould say as a person
individually, my individualcharacter working on myself, has

(28:04):
been a lot of self-reflectionand then self application,
self-reflection and thenself-application.
So it's like this is thereflection part.
How do I change it?
How do I apply it?
Okay, now I got to apply it,which the ultimate struggle in

(28:30):
all that is.
What am I doing?
Am I wasting my time?
Do I need to kick rocks?
Do I not need to kick rocks?
Are these even the right rocksto be kicking?
I mean, that's prayer, bro.
That's prayer.
That's the prayer closet, that's reading the word.

(28:52):
That's all that stuff that hasto come in play for it to even
make sense.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Prayer closet.
That's some country shit Talkabout it.

Speaker 6 (29:01):
You know what I mean.
So the struggle is I would saythe biggest struggle is the
self-struggle, because you knowwe're sitting here, we're
talking, we're just having agood time and everything.
Okay, that's the easy part.
Even when I was out therewiling the way I was wiling,

(29:21):
sitting there talking, beingfunny, chilling, that's the easy
part.
Okay, what are you like?
What you doing when you'realone?
What you doing when you're byyourself?
How you acting?
Now, character is what you dowhen no one's watching.
Oh my god.
So yes, that's where thediscipline comes in.
Yeah, ain't nobody watching you, ain't nobody seeing you?

(29:41):
Ain't nobody taking a court ofthis right now?
Right now, who is you?
right and, and you need to bethe same person out there that
you are in there.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
Let's go with that.
I like the way you put that.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
What do you feel like so far on your musical journey?
Has been your greatestachievement so far?

Speaker 6 (30:04):
This Good answer.
The most appreciation I feellike I've felt in a long time,
would be this Because, theconversation we had on Sunday
and you're like, bro, we can'twait to see you tonight.
I'm like man, I can't wait tosee y'all tonight either.
Like the excitement behind that, like just somebody saying I

(30:25):
can't wait to see you later, dog.
It's like hey, cool, like Iappreciate that, cool like I
appreciate that.
Um, the I would say.
The other thing which wouldalways make a difference to me
is being able to perform atdallas austin's distribution
company launch party.
Wow, I gotta perform at that.

(30:46):
That's crazy.
And dallas austin's wife cameup to me and was like he's been
singing your song all week.
That's crazy.
You're the one that.
And Dallas Austin's wife cameup to me and was like he's been
singing your song all week.
That's crazy.

Speaker 4 (30:53):
You're the one that has that.

Speaker 6 (30:54):
We could still be friends.
I was like, yeah, she was likehe's been singing your song all
week long, that's heavy ForDallas, austin, the one that
made the music from Drumline.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
TLC to be like hey bro I like that.

Speaker 6 (31:07):
That's big.
That's big To the fact he'ssinging it walking around his
house.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
Let's go, let's go, let's go.
Dallas got a great year.

Speaker 6 (31:18):
so it's crazy and from cool personality, cool
person and changed Atlanta scenefor music like crazy Changed it
.
Absolutely.
Not just an influential person,a cool guy, a trendsetter.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
What a For real.

Speaker 6 (31:33):
And that's probably the biggest thing, that probably
will always be the biggestthing CMA, cmts, award shows,
bets, whatever comes, it's likehey man.
I just remember when DallasAustin was like, hey, I want you
at the launch party, okay.
It's always the beginnings, those beginning moments.
Beginning moments, yeah, because it's like I could really

(31:53):
belong here, right, I couldreally do this.
And, um, I met Jermaine Duprithat night.
Get out of here, he wasstanding up back and I he's a
midget yeah, he's short, amy,he's short, he's short.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Yeah, I knew that he was short.

Speaker 6 (32:09):
I was.
I was.
I realized that was going toshort.
I realized it was him and I waswalking over to him and his
security guard was like and Iwas like I just wanted to shout
out, Jermaine, and then itwasn't like well, come on, it
was like we just caught eye andI was like, hey, man, I just
want to say it's cool meetingyou.
You're cool.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
Now watch, it's going to come full circle and
Jermaine gonna be like what up?
You know what I'm saying?
It's gonna come full circle.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
That's crazy stuff like that yeah, sid is talking
about your achievements, and Iknow a lot of one of the artists
greatest achievements isactually being signed to a label
which you are absolutely sotalk about that experience and
that journey.
Shout them out like talk aboutwhat that's like.

Speaker 6 (32:48):
First of all, shout out Quality Entertainment.
Shout out TG.
Shout out the whole team man.
Shout out everybody that's puttheir neck on the line and said
you know what?
I'm willing to invest and putmy name out there for this guy,
this kid, because I see thevision, I see the dream and I
see the hunger.
Shout out all y'all, even to myfriends back home that might

(33:11):
even be watching this right nowand have been supportive the
whole time.
Everybody that has beensupportive shout out y'all.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
Quality entertainment , a blessing how did that come
about?
How did you get signs?

Speaker 6 (33:22):
I'm curious I was in my room praying, I was like lord
, I don't want the biggest, Idon like Lord, I don't want the
biggest, I don't want the best,I don't want the most money, I
want what you have.
And then two weeks later I geta call from Willie.
Franco, franco, willie.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
Shut up, Willie.

Speaker 6 (33:46):
Willie said hey, the baby's brother wants to talk to
you.
I was like, okay, that's cool, yeah, I'll talk to anybody.
See what's up.
Then we met for lunch.
We met a couple times because Iwasn't.

(34:08):
I was feeling it and I was like, but I wanted to make sure that
I was doing the right thing, right.
And we met a couple times.
And then the last time we metit was me, him, jules and Tech,
and we sat there and we talkedand I was like I think this is

(34:28):
what I want to do.
So then me and Tech went rightacross the street to UPS.
We had the contract that I had.
We went ahead and signed it.
Wait, did you read the contract?
Yes, I've read the contract.
I've definitely read thecontract.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
Read the contract.

Speaker 6 (34:46):
Read the contract.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
He's not stupid, just sign the contract.

Speaker 6 (34:49):
If I'm necessarily educated enough to understand it
all, like that, it's adifferent story.
But I have definitely sat thereand read it and paid attention
and like, okay, this is whatthis means, this is what this
means.
This is necessary, right, it'snecessary, it is.
I mean, yeah, business, allthat, but it's necessary.

(35:10):
When it comes to I'm a part ofyou, I'm a part of your brand, I
got to make sure that I'm doingmy part, right, doing it right
on my side, to where I'm notmaking you look bad, you look
crazy, right, just because I'mignorant to what I did Right.
So there's been some things I'vehad to pay attention to that

(35:32):
and look at that and understandwhat it actually entails, what
it is.
And I'm fortunate man, I'm sofortunate Like Indian Trail.
Just being from that kind oftown, that kind of place, all
that never really felt like Icould run up the street and turn

(35:55):
around and make my dreams cometrue, go ahead.
No, no, go ahead.
Everybody's always like NewYork LA.
New York LA tried that, beenthat, done that, and it was like
fell on your face.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Okay, got right with the Lord and straightened up and
he said let me pick you back upand one thing I like about
quality and how TG does things, because he has the green light
at any time to be like all right, do some shit with the baby and
do what you do.
But I like that he develops theartist.

(36:28):
He gives them their ownidentity, gives them their own
lane and working with him, I seehow he moves.
He really puts the onus on theartist to do their job.
If you do their job, you reapthe benefits of doing your job.
I want you to tell the peoplewhen you like the work you got

(36:50):
to put in.
When people see that you signed, people are like, oh, I'm
signed.
They don't see the work you gotto put in, even when people see
that you signed right peoplelike right.
They don't see the work thatyou got to put in, right, so
tell the people that's lookinglike okay, the work you got to
put in when you be signed I'mgonna, I'm gonna be honest.

Speaker 6 (37:03):
I have to give dj d-tech his kudos for the way
that he he molded me to evenmake me something that quality
would even want to entertain.
I have to say that, shout outOG, shout out D-Tech forever.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
We did a mixtape too.
Shout out D-Tech.

Speaker 6 (37:20):
Because tech took me out there, put me in places,
gave me the chance to sink orswim, and it was on me as an
artist that was trying to makeit happen, to learn the hard way
or succeed.
Now, on top of that, tg hasamped it up even more, really

(37:47):
helped me get my socials to apoint where it makes sense and
is very hands-on and in your earabout what needs to be done.
Yep, and he's not gonna not tocompare the two but he's not

(38:08):
gonna throw you out there towatch you sink.
He's going to stand back andwatch you work.
He's going to stand back andwatch you operate and he's going
to say how hungry are you?
Let me chill, how hungry areyou?
And you?
I was out moving around, talkingto everybody and he made sure

(38:35):
that I was in the right placesocially to be able to be in an
environment of that caliber.
Let's be honest, it was a highcaliber and I would say it all
has to be done for you to besuccessful where, as an artist,

(39:05):
you know how many flyers I'vegot myself.
I have a whole section ofpeople I used to hang out with
the bonfires at at Res's housethat they bought T-shirts from
me the original B Myers T-shirtswith two S's.
They bought T-shirts from me.
My friends over like 30, 35people got that T-shirt Because

(39:29):
I was willing to turn around andinvest in myself to put that
into it.
Flyers I got ran off Walmarttwo times because I was out
there trying to Not at Walmart.

Speaker 4 (39:42):
At Walmart they want to did you the idea of targeting
?

Speaker 6 (39:44):
At Walmart, and I wasn't even out there trying to
get money for it.
I was out there just trying tonetwork myself.
Right, your network is yournetwork, and the ultimate thing
is, if you're not willing to putyourself out there just trying
to network myself, your networkis your network.
And the ultimate thing is, ifyou're not willing to put
yourself out there no TG, noD-Tech, no, nobody.
If you're not willing to putyourself out there saying this
is me, this is what I got, Ibelieve deep in my heart, deep
in my soul, that I got somethingto say and people would like to

(40:07):
probably listen to it, thenthis ain't for you, because the
support comes after you supportyourself.
And if anybody's out theretrying to be an artist and
trying to make it to thatcaliber, I want to be signed, I
want to be this, and TG eventold me this.
This is a hardworking artist.

(40:27):
This is what you call ahardworking artist, and I'm like
to me.
Yes, but a differentperspective has to come in for
you to see.
That's not how they're going tosee it.
That's not how it's going to beseen.
I understand what you feel, Iunderstand what you know and I
understand how hard of a grindyou got because I've seen it.

Speaker 4 (40:49):
But there's a different factor that comes into
it when it comes to being seen.

Speaker 6 (40:51):
True, you gotta work at it.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
You know what I mean you gotta work at that shit for
real.

Speaker 6 (40:53):
So are you trying to see or are you trying to be seen
?
I'm trying to be seen.
I'm trying to come up to you, talk to you without even knowing
you, because we're at a musicevent and I'm an artist.
So, hey, I got a business.
It started with business cards, not even flyers.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
It started business cards, not even flyers.
It started with business cards.

Speaker 3 (41:14):
All you need is a business card for something and
that's true and now you got qrcodes and all that passion.
They're wanting qr codes thenfuck I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
Yeah, man like well, you know I'm going, I'm gonna
flip this all the way around.
As I asked my last question, Iknow, you know our silly ass
cameraman was telling you I'm alittle unhinged and shit right
and and you probably caughtmoments of it.
I caught a little bit I'm alittle unhinged I'm not a lot of
unhinged.
I'm a little unhinged orwhatever.
Like I have.

(41:40):
No, I have no lines, there's noguidelines with me.
So I got to ask um, you know, and this is crazy, somebody
asked somebody else this todaythat's how much access to the
podcast?
If we checked your phone rightnow, hooked it up to the screen
or whatever, what's the lastthirst trap you liked or you
sent?

Speaker 6 (42:00):
Last thirst trap I liked and we all know what
thirst traps are.

Speaker 2 (42:04):
All y'all know that's dad shaking, playing with the
booty.
Which one have you doubletapped on somebody on Instagram?
Maybe it was a Jolie, maybe itwas a Cuban white girl.

Speaker 6 (42:17):
Cause your boots, well the crazy thing is that's
exactly what it was.
You know how you use realsometimes to sit there and
promote, like, use the reels topromote the music, okay.
Well, I was scrolling onInstagram earlier.
Obviously, I got the songCountry Booty, okay yeah.
So Jolie Juicy was?

(42:38):
Don't ask.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
It wasn't even that.

Speaker 6 (42:42):
It was just a video of her.
I think I like the caption morethan I like the video, because
there's other videos of her I'veseen that I like more.
If I'm being honest, you knowwhat I mean.
Let's just be real here.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Look at this.
Who is this?
Jolie, Juicy J-O-L-E Twin youknow who that is.

Speaker 6 (42:58):
J-U-C-Y.
I think Okay, I ain't pullingmy phone.

Speaker 2 (43:02):
Okay, wait, wait, I got it.
Oh, this Jolie.
Oh, she got ass, let me that'sa white woman with ass.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
It's a white woman with ass oh, this the girl that
be on tiktok, look at her tryingto hit me up.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
I can't I can see her in your next video.
I can see her in your nextvideo.
Hey, jolie Juicy, let me callme, I'll hook that up we gonna
tag Jolie Jolie.

Speaker 3 (43:34):
let me call me, I'll hook that up.
We're going to tag Jolie Joliein this clip.

Speaker 1 (43:37):
She fine, she fine.

Speaker 3 (43:38):
We're going to tag Jolie Jolie in this clip.
Where's?

Speaker 6 (43:42):
she from?
I have no clue, I don't know.
I didn't go Google search her.
How much followers she got Twomillion, Damn.

Speaker 3 (43:50):
I was about to say she how much followers she got?
2 million.
She probably got a lot.

Speaker 3 (53:32):
Oh okay, oh okay, I know that motherfucker yeah hey,

Shout out to the Cal no, thathair to Kumar is a fire as high
as movie.
He did.
No, no, you blew shit up.

Speaker 1 (53:57):
Oh, we're going to go to hot topic quiz.
I got four, so bear with me.
Yeah, uh, department ofeducation is coming to collect
their coins.
Okay, the same department ofeducation that was disbanded.
I don't know how they better dothis, but we got.

(54:18):
If you owe student loans to the, to the department of education
, listen up, because the agencywants its money back now.
Get it back in blood bitch.
No, no, they are.

Speaker 6 (54:23):
Listen they are.

Speaker 1 (54:24):
We said that and they said bet, okay.
On monday, the department ofeducation announced they will
begin collecting payments onstudent loans that are in
default as soon as next month.
This process will includegarnishing wages for potentially
millions of americans, solisten.
So starting on may 5th, thedepartment of education will

(54:46):
begin involuntarily collectingtheir money through the treasury
department's offset program.
So if you don't know what thisoffset program is, this is the
same program where, if you owechild support or if you owe any
money to the government, theywithhold anything like um
paychecks, federal paychecks,tax returns.

(55:08):
It's on the website, for real.

Speaker 4 (55:09):
They just announced it today yo yeah, twin cursed me
out the last episode over theboard of Education.
She was defending them.
But I was right.
Hold on, you were defendingthem.
No, no, no.
I was right, though, and nowthey're stealing from you.
I was right, though.
Stick together with me, twin.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (55:27):
They robbing you and you defended them to what the
fuck I actually said.

Speaker 1 (55:31):
so go ahead, revisit it once you finish okay, so let
me get through this.
So, um, this program withholdsgovernment payments, including
tax refunds, federal salary andother benefits from people with
past due debts to the government.
So how this process will workis they will issue a 30-day
notice and, after the 30-daynotice, they will begin

(55:53):
garnishing wages.
For borrowers in default andfor people who may want to know
how do I know if I'm in default?
You are in default if you havenot made a payment for nine
months or more.
Oh, really, okay, cool.

Speaker 2 (56:07):
So it is crazy.

Speaker 1 (56:08):
Let me give you all some numbers on this, because I
had to look this up.
I was interested to knowbecause I'm one of the first
numbers.
Currently, there are 5.3million people who are in
default on their federal studentloans 5.3, 5.3 million.
In addition to that, there are4 million borrowers oh, this one
, I meant there are 4 millionborrowers who are 91 to 180 days

(56:31):
late on their loan payment.
Less than 40% of all borrowersfrom the Department of Education
are current on their studentloans.

Speaker 3 (56:45):
There go the forgiveness.

Speaker 2 (56:48):
So let's talk about that too, Okay so

Speaker 6 (56:51):
let's talk about that .

Speaker 1 (56:51):
So remember Biden started the SAVE program.
If you were not able to makeyour payments, they did based
off your income.
Some people didn't have to payanything, okay, well, the Trump
administration secretly tookthat to court.

Speaker 3 (57:04):
They took it to court .

Speaker 1 (57:06):
It was never.

Speaker 4 (57:08):
It just wasn't.

Speaker 1 (57:12):
So let me explain.
When I say secretly, I mean itwas not told in the media.
It very much so happened, butit just wasn't publicized.

Speaker 4 (57:20):
Yeah, they didn't do a secret, it's the government.

Speaker 3 (57:28):
We can't hear you.

Speaker 1 (57:31):
Okay.
So what they did was.
They took this program to thecourts and said that it was
unconstitutional.
And the courts agreed with them.
Wow.
But before we say wow, beforewe get into upraise, let me
finish what I got to say.

Speaker 3 (57:47):
Go ahead.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
The people who are currently enrolled in the SAVE
program that were paying nothinggot all of their student loans.
Forgave, forgave.
They went into complete um, Iknow a couple people that got
this so, if you so like, duringum, the last presidential
administration, during covet, biden set up this program for

(58:10):
student loans called save.
It was like a repayment programfor people that weren't able to
make their monthly paymentsbecause of like covet and stuff
like that, and the way that thatprogram worked was you talked
to somebody on the phone andthey went through your annual
income to see an annual incomeand the bills that you pay and
they to see how much you wouldpay per week.
Some people under that programwere paying nothing a week okay,

(58:31):
like paying zero.
When they took it to court, thecourt supreme court was like we
kind of agree with you, butwe're paying nothing a week okay
, like paying zero.
When they took it to court, thecourt supreme court was like we
kind of agree with you, butwe're not gonna punish these
people because of that.

Speaker 4 (58:40):
So they forgave all of those people who were paying
zero dollars a month for theirloans, like the 2018 and 2021 no
, they forgave all of theirloans, like all of their I
should have went to school thenand fucking finished the fuck I
drop out for if I'm going to getforgiven Brooklyn, shit, we
didn't go to school.

Speaker 1 (58:58):
Well, yeah it happened though.
I'm going to keep y'all updatedthough, because, as y'all
remember, small BusinessAdministration is going to be
taking over that loan repaymentservice.
So that's interesting to seeSmall Business Administration
and the Treasury Departmentworking together.
But hey, we'll see.

Speaker 4 (59:15):
It's good for everybody that benefit off of it
, I ain't gonna lie.
Your benefit is good.

Speaker 1 (59:18):
If you don't benefit, you in the category with me I
just don't think that that'ssmart because honestly you're
you're garnishing wagesinvoluntarily from people that
need the money and what it'sgoing to do is cause there to be
more homelessness in americabecause people are not going to
be able to afford because theymajority of America is living
paycheck to paycheck.

(59:38):
So it's like if you take awayfrom that paycheck to paycheck
lifestyle, you are damn nearalready underneath.

Speaker 4 (59:46):
Homeless people everywhere.
Even if it's more money, theygive money.
Some people be homeless and berich.
They just don't want to givetheir money up and be broke.

Speaker 1 (59:58):
I'm not talking about their people, though.

Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
I'm talking about people that's trying to do the
right thing but just don't haveenough income.

Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
Don't talk about right now.

Speaker 6 (01:00:06):
That garnishing wages is crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
That's crazy, right?
He just raised the taxes on us.

Speaker 4 (01:00:11):
He just raised the taxes, just because they're like
you owe it to us, it's like

Speaker 3 (01:00:15):
bro, you don't even need it, you don't even need my
money, bro.

Speaker 4 (01:00:17):
Go to the IRS Department of Education no it's
not that they need it, it's thatthey don't want us to have it.
No, they just don't want you tohave it.

Speaker 6 (01:00:26):
Exactly.
It's crazy, it's not that theyneed it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
I ain't gonna lie.

Speaker 4 (01:00:29):
It's not even because exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:00:31):
I've been trying to put food on my table.
I've been trying to log in tomy student loans, make sure they
make sure they ain't defunded.
You would've.

Speaker 4 (01:00:40):
You would've got a letter by now the board of
education don't love you.
They told me my shit is in thegreen.

Speaker 2 (01:00:44):
They said you don't gotta pay shit, so thank you.
I'm not being quiet as fuckcause I've been trying to change
my password.

Speaker 4 (01:00:50):
No, you just wanted to make sure.

Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
What'd that say?
That shit say zero Hold on Twit.

Speaker 4 (01:00:56):
You just wanted to make sure I wasn't right.

Speaker 2 (01:00:57):
No, no, no, no, no.
I just wanted to make surebecause, let me tell you, I am a
youth director, programdirector, and I make good money,
but I don't make the kind ofmoney for you to be garnishing
my damn money Hell, no so fuckthat.

Speaker 4 (01:01:10):
Damn bro.

Speaker 1 (01:01:10):
Okay, we're going to go ahead and keep it pushing.
The next two are lawsuits.
Y'all want wild or super wild.
Super wild Damn they're bothsuper wild.

Speaker 3 (01:01:20):
Let's go to Soulja Boy.

Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
Soulja Boy was reportedly ordered to pay $4
million to his ex-assistant overa sexual battery lawsuit.
As he should.

Speaker 4 (01:01:31):
He should have never touched her.

Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
Let me explain.
That's crazy.
His ex-personal assistant suedhim in 2021 and accused him of
sexual battery and abuse duringtheir two-year on-and-off-again
relationship.
She also claimed that he lockedher up for days.
That's crazy.
Plural days.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
He the first rapper to ever lock somebody up.
He the first rapper to locksomebody up.

Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
Without food and allegedly after he let her out,
he beat and verbally attackedher.

Speaker 4 (01:01:57):
The first rapper to ever lock somebody up.
But allegedly, allegedly,allegedly that's a lot of
details.
I don't want to do that withanother black man.
Well, I mean so allegedly.
I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
the jury found him liable of this Guilty.

Speaker 4 (01:02:09):
On April 10th.
So anymore, I don't mean allthe charges, if you let me
finish, I can get through it.
I'm sorry, mike down.

Speaker 1 (01:02:15):
I was guilty of.
God damn, yes, gosh, okay.
The jury found him liable onApril 10th for intentional
infliction of emotional distress, sexual harassment and not
paying his formal assistance.
What was that first charge?
Emotional distress.

Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
So, we can sue CL then.

Speaker 4 (01:02:33):
But why is the first charge they trying to say like
raping everything and he beatthat?

Speaker 1 (01:02:37):
Listen, it's the headline.

Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
Can you let me fucking finish this.
I'm defending black men.
We not doing that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
Oh my god, this is what happens when you invite New
York niggas and give themHennessy for real.
Listen.

Speaker 1 (01:02:51):
Okay, the jury tossed out the former assistant, who
was only listed as Jane Doe,tossed out her claims of false
imprisonment and a hostile workenvironment, but did not toss
out the sexual battery and thatis still pending?

Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
did they give reasons why they tossed out them
charges?
They didn't have enoughprobable cause, enough evidence
yeah, what you need, a video ofthat nigga locking me up yeah,
because it's your word versus myword, so listen.

Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
You say she's so listen jane doe first begins
working for soldier boy in 2021and accused him of rape and
kidnapping.
She claims it didn't take afull month working for him
before he slid in her dms withpictures of his little soldier
that's literally what they saidthat that's shady, so we not
taking that.

Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
If it's shady work, we not taking that.
You saying little in quotations.

Speaker 1 (01:03:38):
That's literally how it was in the trap.

Speaker 4 (01:03:40):
I know I'm saying for her, saying that you shady.

Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
She claims she said after he slid in her DMs with
the pictures.
That's when things turnromantic.
But the relationship did notlast long because things became
violent very fast.
She claimed that soldier boywould lock her in a room for up
to two days with no food and, ofcourse, y'all.
Soldier boy denied all theclaims and allegations and
stated that she was simplycrashing at his crib in exchange

(01:04:09):
for services and she neverreceived a formal job offer from
him to be considered hispersonal assistant.
Oh, he did admit to the on andoff again relationship but said
while it was consensual, therewere times it could get messy.
They do.

Speaker 4 (01:04:25):
But they celebrities, so I've been around them so I
know they be possessive.
They feel like they hide inlife and you got to submit to
them.
So that's why I'm saying mebeing a man being real, I can
see why she say like he want meto be there, not leave.
He get jealous, but I don'tfeel like a nigga with millions
is gonna force you to doanything, and do you know what

(01:04:45):
I'm saying?

Speaker 3 (01:04:45):
Okay, well, let me finish.
Shout out to Drewski.

Speaker 4 (01:04:47):
Shout out to Drewski on that.

Speaker 1 (01:04:48):
Let me finish.
He was in Atlanta During thetrial.
Photos of the formerassistant's bruises were shown
and wild text messages hold onwild text messages from Soulja

(01:05:10):
No, sorry.

Speaker 4 (01:05:12):

Speaker 1 (01:05:15):
One text said die bitch, I should have Stupid dumb

I know you said that I lost myline.
One text said die bitch, Ishould have killed your stupid
ass.
And when he was questionedabout it, he claimed it was
never that deep.

Speaker 4 (01:05:30):
That was deep bro you .
The first one that lied andsaid that I understand he didn't
go to jail for perjury.

Speaker 1 (01:05:33):
That was deep bro you .
The first one that lied andsaid that oh understand.

Speaker 2 (01:05:35):
And said that he didn't go to jail for perjury.

Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
And said that the bruises on her body could have
came from anybody and said thatthis Soldier was hurt Quote
bitch is just chasing a bag.

Speaker 4 (01:05:47):
But why you still calling her a bitch if you don't
feel a way?

Speaker 6 (01:05:51):
You're still emotional, so you mad no, no,
okay.
So the way you're stillemotional, so you mad no, no,
okay.
So you gotta understand whenI'm gonna tell you this right
now, when you got money, when Iget through, but when they got,
money and feel like they cancontrol you because they got
more than you.

Speaker 4 (01:06:05):
They'll violate you and they want to be possessive.
But well, she's not with that, listen.
But she tried to violate him incourt.

Speaker 1 (01:06:13):
He hit her.

Speaker 4 (01:06:14):
He didn't rape her.

Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
Listen, he hit her Different charges.
Originally, when Soulja Boy wasslapped with this lawsuit, Jane
Doe asked for everything SouljaBoy owned.

Speaker 4 (01:06:24):
She asked for $73.6 million from the rapper $73.6
million from the rapper.

Speaker 1 (01:06:34):
Bro, I remember when Crank.

Speaker 6 (01:06:35):
That came out.

Speaker 3 (01:06:37):
That's the issue.
That's the issue.

Speaker 1 (01:06:40):
Go ahead Actually well, this is for everything.
But the judge denied thatamount and instead slapped him
with a $4 million verdict $4million is still good in my book
73.6 million is nothing, but no, it gets different with rappers
I understand her asking foreverything, but how do you come

(01:07:00):
up with?

Speaker 4 (01:07:00):
that 76 million to get smacked.

Speaker 3 (01:07:02):
That's nasty.

Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
A lawyer probably came up with that number for you
?

Speaker 4 (01:07:07):
Yeah, because he wanted to get paid.
Who should have visited Bixby?

Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
Speaking of hold on, let me get through it.
Speaking of Busby Shannon Sharp.
Uncle Shannon On Sunday was hitwith a $50 million rape and
sexual assault lawsuit.
So this Sunday again he was hitwith a $50 million lawsuit that

(01:07:32):
was filed against him in Nevadaby a Jane Doe who has now been
identified as Gabriella Zuniga.
She accused him of assault, sexual assault battery, sexual
battery, intentional inflictionof emotion and intentional
infliction of emotional distressagainst the victim.

Speaker 3 (01:07:49):
Wait, note the age, though I ain't got there yet, he
did it.
Oh, okay, I ain't got there,yet she's 21 now.

Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
She's not 21.
She's 20.
You really think he did it?
Let me God damn.

Speaker 6 (01:08:03):
Just go ahead y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:08:05):
Y'all tell the facts, go ahead.
Reports released after thelawsuit was announced show that
sharp and jane doe were involvedin a rocky consensual
relationship for almost twotimes.
Again this jane doe has beenidentified as gabriella zaniga.
She is 30 years younger thanshannon shark and she was

(01:08:29):
allegedly subjected.
She has said in this lawsuitthat she was allegedly subjected
.
She has said in this lawsuitthat she was allegedly subjected
to sexual encounters beingrecorded and then shared with
other people.
So that's some diddy shitAllegedly.

Speaker 4 (01:08:43):
Keep that in mind.
I can say one thing I saw theblogs, I saw the messages.
The same shit you probably saw.
But she was saying she was onlymad because he put it in her
ass with no rubber.

Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
She said why you do that.
She was mad about because heput it in her ass with no rubber
.
You said why you do that.
She was mad about that.
That's not why she was mad atall.

Speaker 4 (01:08:58):
That's the first one I seen that she was mad about
how you do that and not do that.

Speaker 1 (01:09:04):
That's not at all why she was mad.
She was mad, bro, she was madabout Michelle.

Speaker 2 (01:09:07):
Why would you do that ?
I saw it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
Remember he accidentally went live.
Remember he accidentally wentlive and was fucking.

Speaker 4 (01:09:14):
He put it in her butt with no rubber and she was mad.

Speaker 1 (01:09:16):
That's why she mad Look it up.

Speaker 4 (01:09:20):
She said she said why would you do that?
Why would you put it there anddo that to me?
And I said don't do that.
She tried to make it look likeit was rape, but it was in her
ass, so no funny shit.
I seen it.
His mic broke.
She tried to make it look likeit was rape, but it was in her
ass and she didn't want to rubher.

Speaker 2 (01:09:37):
So no, funny shit.
I seen it, I be watching thatHis mic broke.
His mic broke.
Please turn his mic off, Istill got two more left, y'all
Come on please.

Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
I'm tired Go ahead.
Get doing shit.
In September 2024, the womanallegedly wanted to end the
relationship due to his viralincident where he live streamed
a sexual encounter with anotherwoman.
Instead of ending therelationship, Gabriella.
Gabriella alleges that Shannonpursued her relentlessly.
The lawsuit also alleges on twoinstances, in October of 2024

(01:10:07):
and January of 2025, gabriellawas raped and she was subjected
to unprotected forcible sex andthreatened with physical assault
.
It is to note that this lawsuitwas filed by Tony Busby, who
had recently had the botchedsexual assault case against
Jay-Z, and it's also theex-lawyer for Diddy and

(01:10:27):
represented Deshaun Watson onall of his sexual misconduct
cases.
Lanny Davis, who is theattorney for Shannon Sharp,
released a statement after this, claiming Sharp's innocent and
the statement revealed in thisstatement, which also revealed
Gabriela's identity, as well astext she allegedly sent to Sharp
, which further proves theirrelationship was consensual.

(01:10:48):
The statement also alleges thatZuniga is trying to extort
Sharp with threats of releasingheavily edited releasing.
Releasing heavily editedreleasing a heavily edited sex
tape in which it appears theirencounter was not consensual.

Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
I know they said, they said they consensually
recorded themselves having sex.

Speaker 1 (01:11:12):
she is saying that that was never agreed to for
them to record it.
In addition to that, that hewas showing it to everybody, but
she has a tape and on two ofthose sex tapes.
She's saying that it's notreally consensual.
She was raped.

Speaker 4 (01:11:27):
I can respect it, because I don't know that he's
saying that these videos wereheavily edited.

Speaker 1 (01:11:32):
They took hella parts out of the original video.
I ain't gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
My take on this is from like reading the court and
everything, I I feel like on herend she was cool with it until
that whole, michelle shit,that's literally.
I was gonna say that and sothat's why I said I feel like
she was cool with it but a lotof people are really missing
this bigger picture, which isthe picture they started fucking
around when she was 19.

(01:11:56):
Now they have said that thiswoman, this girl, is a sex
worker witch.
I have not confirmed this.
I don't know, but this age gap, with Shannon being damn near 60
and 19, is disgusting.

Speaker 4 (01:12:09):
That's predatory behavior.
But she look like she in her30s, it don't matter it does not
matter, that's nasty.

Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
It does not matter what you look like.

Speaker 4 (01:12:17):
She in her 30s.
They be lying in this, but thatgirl is legally 19.
That's disgusting on his part, but girls lie.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
That's disgusting on his part and that's I think they
were talking about it onTwitter today.
It go back to this culture withold niggas trying to relive
they 20s with having hoes likeat this point.
Think about it Shannon Sharpdone ruined his legacy, yeah, of
being a pro Hall of Fame orsomething.

Speaker 4 (01:12:42):
Now you just know that's not gonna fuck up his
football legacy, that's hisblogging.
But we don't now, we don'tspeak on him being a football
star.

Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
This is what I'm saying now.
When you first say ShannonSharp name, he gonna be
remembered as the old, freakyass nigga, but when you say his
name now remember as a podcaster, not the football great.

Speaker 4 (01:12:59):
They not bringing down his jersey off of this.
That's what I'm saying.
I think we're saying the sameshit.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
What I'm saying is he's tarnishing his legacy.
When you bring his name up nowto people, instead of people
like oh shit, you know profootball, they gonna say oh, the
podcast, nigga, who freaky.
And yeah, you know what I'msaying.
So can I ask one question?
It's like, it's like a blemishon your, on your thing, but can
I ask one question?

Speaker 4 (01:13:23):
so when niggas, it don't matter when the guy walked
down on a girl, right, y'allwant us to ask the girls for
ideas.
Girls that look older than whatthey are, hold on, wait, hold
on.
It's girls that look older thanwhat they are, hold on, hold on
.
It's girls that look older thanwhat they look like.
And it's girls that lookyounger than what they look like
.
So y'all really want to say yo,what's up, man, what you got
going on.
I like you.
You want a drink, hold on.
Let me see your ID first.

Speaker 2 (01:13:44):
I'm sorry.
What the fuck y'all want us todo, I don what y'all want us to
do in that aspect in a clubY'all ain't give us no answer.

Speaker 1 (01:13:54):
That's a different situation and I'm going to
explain it.
I think it's different becausefor Shannon Sharp somebody of
his stature you should be alittle more cautious and have a
little more awareness of theperson that you are having sex
with, but where he mad at.

Speaker 6 (01:14:07):
Can I ask you a question?
Where did he start drinking?
Was he drunk?
Was he out?

Speaker 2 (01:14:10):
He spoke I ain't spoke big backwards, lizzy, hold
on.
There's other people in theroom, hold on.

Speaker 6 (01:14:14):
Y'all said that she was 19 when their relationship
started.
Yeah, she's 30 now.

Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
No, no, no, no, she's 30.

Speaker 4 (01:14:20):
No, it's a 30 year gap 30 year gap.
Oh, okay, okay, it's a 30 yeargap.

Speaker 2 (01:14:24):
It's not that I ain't going to what.

Speaker 4 (01:14:26):
If you look at her, she don't look like she's 19.

Speaker 6 (01:14:31):
Again I get by 28.
I miss her.
I was like 11 years old.

Speaker 4 (01:14:34):
How many girls run around and say I got a sugar
daddy that's 40 years older?

Speaker 3 (01:14:40):
than them.
You, my nigga, cut this, niggaMichael, cut this nigga Michael,
cut my Michael because niggaswant to be sugar daddies.

Speaker 4 (01:14:45):
in the room we got to get to our sugar daddy, certain
girls want to get an oldernigga to trick on them.
So how you mad at him.
He could have been paying forher bills what, like you said,
twin, she only got mad when theother girl got exposed.

Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
But that's not.

Speaker 4 (01:15:07):
Why she been to get mad.
So that's not.

Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
Her getting mad is not.
It's emotionally bad, butthat's a woman.
That's a woman, right?
Shannon Sharp is 60, fuckingwith a 19-year-old.
That's crazy, and I think whatSid was and I'm going to end
this out what Sid was trying tosay is Shannon, being of his
stature, being able to haveaccess to where he should be
able to?
You famous.
I'm researching Everybody.
Don't come into contact.

Speaker 4 (01:15:30):
But it's not you.
It, but it's not true, it's hisstaff.
They should have knew her, butthat's what Sid's saying.

Speaker 2 (01:15:33):
It's a scenario.
It's a different scenario.

Speaker 4 (01:15:35):
It's a situation of what's going on.
We're going to move past it.
Your staff, if CEO, look he arapper, right, and I'm his bro.

Speaker 6 (01:16:22):
First of all, if a girl come through, if a girl
come through and want to eat upyou know what she got to do.

She got to make sure she's my big mother.

Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
Because that bitch can fight.

Speaker 4 (01:16:51):

That's the final stage.
If you want them, you want them.
She'll be a friend.
I don't give a fuck because Idon't want them.
Right, if they get through,y'all don't want them.

Speaker 3 (01:16:59):

What would you do as a parent,as the father, or I always flip
it as the mother or the fatherin that instance, if the child
tells you shut the fuck up holdon wait.

Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
Is it different for?

Speaker 3 (01:19:48):
Well, let's flip it For the man it's the daughter,
and for the man it's thedaughter, and for the female
it's the no.
No.
For the female it's thedaughter, and for the male it's
the son.
So it's your daughter, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:20:02):

Speaker 2 (01:20:13):
I have to.
This is my, this is my youtheducational program director
answer sometimes you gotta pullyour kid aside and you gotta let
them know that you are not tobe relax, you are not to be
fucked with, and you gotta kindafigure out.
How did you get to that pointwhere your child felt
comfortable enough to say that?
To you sometimes it is abouttalking with them and your child

(01:20:33):
has gotten to a point ofcomfortability where you got to
figure out why they said that.
That sounds nice.
There's a problem.
What would you do Now?
The real me, the real me, thereal terrorist.
I'm going to snatch that littlemotherfucker up by a ponytail
or a bus down and I'm going todrag her across that
motherfucking house.

Speaker 4 (01:20:50):
Edit out her professional shit.

Speaker 2 (01:20:52):
I will snatch every lash.
I will snatch every lash.
I will snatch every edge.
I will take every weave by thestrand and I am dragging her
little ass around that head.

Speaker 4 (01:21:00):
But what if she?

Speaker 2 (01:21:01):
beats you up.
And now, mother, what if shebeats you?

Speaker 4 (01:21:06):
hypothetically speaking, I got kids if my son
beat me?

Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
in my 31 years of living there's not a bitch
that's walking on this earththat will ever say she got an L
against me.

Speaker 4 (01:21:18):
But that's in your heart.
But what if you get it on withyour child?
She get the best of you.
The mini, me, the mini me of me.

Speaker 2 (01:21:26):
She will learn where she got that shit from.
Answer the question.

Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
Let's quick go around the room.
No, no, no, no, hold on Answerthe question.

Speaker 5 (01:21:33):
If she beat you, what would you do?
I can feel you on that, but noif she beat you, what would?

Speaker 4 (01:21:37):
you do.

Speaker 6 (01:21:38):
Please wait.
What would?

Speaker 3 (01:21:39):
you do.
She didn't answer.

Speaker 6 (01:21:40):
It's my son, it's your son and, like it's an
argument, he's just sittingthere, he and you go in too,
because the mother couldn't getthrough.

Speaker 3 (01:21:54):
So the mother gets up and the father goes and starts
talking to the, in this case hisson.

Speaker 6 (01:22:00):
Mom couldn't get through.

Speaker 3 (01:22:01):
Now it's my turn, I step in.

Speaker 6 (01:22:02):
That's the first thing he says.

Speaker 3 (01:22:04):
And then you start talking to him and you say, Dad,
shut the fuck up, I'm knockinghim on the ground, exactly,
absolutely.

Speaker 4 (01:22:10):
And she lying.

Speaker 6 (01:22:11):
What else Slick the back of this hand going right
across that head?

Speaker 3 (01:22:15):
Give the mic down now , I want to hear what the lady
is saying hey just to be walkingin what's up.

Speaker 1 (01:22:20):
Shout out to my boy Pete Myers.

Speaker 5 (01:22:21):
Shout out to everybody.
I just walked in this bitch.
But, I can give you a real lifeof that Okay.
So, when I came home from prison, my pops wanted me to come live
with him.
So I went and lived with mypops.
Me and my brother was in thislittle ass bed, this little ass
room, maybe from this to thewall, and there was a bunk bed

(01:22:42):
in there.
So this is part of the bunk bedand there was a little dressing
.
There was no fucking room inthis room.
So the only stipulation withliving with my pops was
everybody had to pay one bill.
My brother liked to takeshowers.
He took long showers, so mydaddy said he had to pay the
water bill I was on the internetall the time I had to pay the
internet bill so one day he camein the room.

(01:23:02):
He was like yo, I already gavehim my money, so I was good he
was like um, you got that moneyfor the water bill and I was on
the top, but my brother was onthe top bunk.
My brother was on the bottombunk and he was like man, like
rolled over and shit, so he waslike hey, man, you heard me, you
got that water bill.

Speaker 6 (01:23:22):
He was like man yeah, type shit.

Speaker 5 (01:23:26):
So my pop's like two polo size, like 300 pounds.

Speaker 6 (01:23:31):
You seen my pops before.

Speaker 5 (01:23:32):
Yeah, my pops biggest head.
This is Willie Willie and mypops before.
Yeah, my pops' biggest head.
So this is Willie Willie and mydaddy.
So my pops leave the room.
I'm still laying there.
I'm like I know this shit notover.
I don't know what and I'm justmy, I know this shit is not over

(01:23:52):
.
So I'm thinking some movie shit.

like I'm your son.

Speaker 4 (01:24:46):
You gonna put a gun out on me.

Speaker 5 (01:24:50):
He's like you're goddamn right, you think you're
grown enough, Get the fuck out.
So he kicked willie out.
Willie had to go stay with mygrandma and shit.

Speaker 3 (01:24:59):
But I left.
That's what happened I left,goddamn.

Speaker 5 (01:25:03):
I went up the street and I was chilling in my car
smoking a black amount.
My daddy called me talking someyou good, I said bro, y'all
niggas.

Speaker 2 (01:25:15):
Nigga was calm as hell.
You know the good thing out ofthat story you ain't had to
share that bunk bed no more.
Now you got that own room.

Speaker 4 (01:25:21):
I definitely had my own room after that day.
That's right Facts.

Speaker 2 (01:25:26):
But now Willie had to suffer because he went to
grandma your grandma probably,Nah, grandma nah, grandma treats
you better.

Speaker 4 (01:25:30):
Grandma treats you better.
Grandma treats you better.
Grandma probably like.

Speaker 2 (01:25:34):
Willie, baby, it's okay, you should have pulled
that gun on you baby Willie, stay here.

Speaker 4 (01:25:39):
Willie was the victim .

Speaker 3 (01:25:40):
You know grandma's over the shoulder.
You know that Grandma's overthe shoulder.
Hey, shout out to Willie, because that nigga probably got
PTSD from a son, nah Willie, mybrother Willie.

Speaker 4 (01:25:48):
Willie.

Speaker 3 (01:25:57):
They think I'm nuts.
Hold up, hold up.
What would you do, man?

Speaker 4 (01:25:58):
So listen, what would you do if your parent and your
child said shut the fuck up toyou, Beat your ass.

Speaker 3 (01:26:01):
I ain't going to lie, I got the most kids.

Speaker 4 (01:26:02):
Any of my boys say fuck that, nigga it's up.
We can fight my son's smokingweed and all that, nigga they
crazy.
Fuck you so much, nigga it's 15, 16.

Speaker 2 (01:26:10):
All right T.
What do we got?
T?
I have nothing because it'slate.
You know what I'm saying and Iain't going to lie.
Blizzy done taught this whole.
It's the Blizzy podcast tonight, for real.
You know what I mean.
She'll be lit when Blizzy comesin, and so I ain't going to lie
.
I'm a little tapped out.
I do just want to say you know,I usually do have a segment Ask
Terrence, and I'm asking, andI'm asking.

(01:26:32):
I get asked the most wildestquestions, outrageous questions,
and usually I have this section, but I just want to take the
time out in this segment to saya couple things.
So this is more like aTerrace's Thoughts you know what
I'm saying.
Terrace's Thoughts, but onpodcast, but on podcast you like
it because I do a segment on myInstagram, terrace's Thoughts.
First thought is you know, Iwant to tell people for real,

(01:26:54):
like there are moments where youfeel like you are like stagnant
and you feel like your journeyis not moving how it should.
Right, and I had to sit downand remind myself that your
journey is your own.
I had a moment where I justfeel like I'm supposed to be
with a family and a child andall that, but I realize I have

(01:27:14):
so much greatness in what I'mdoing and blessed.
So this is just a moment foryou people that think you know
you're not doing what you'resupposed to.
You're not moving how you'resupposed to.
Your journey is your own.
You are doing your thing.
Do not compare your story toanybody else's story.
You know what I'm saying?
Random thought Bojangles whatthe fuck have y'all been doing
lately?
Like they haven't fell the fuckoff.

(01:27:37):
They started building alllocations in Vegas and Arizona
and shit I finally had a badmeal from the Bojangles OS
Boulevard by John C Smith, and Iain't never had a bad meal from
them and I did so, mr Bojangles, I'm writing a letter to y'all.

Speaker 3 (01:27:50):
Is it the workers or is it?

Speaker 2 (01:27:53):
after COVID, I'm telling you, after COVID,
everything just fell down.
They got them automatic.
The AI should be talking to younow.
She be like.
She be like what could the bowtie?
What would you like?

Speaker 6 (01:28:02):
I'm like how big Bow tie it's bow tie here.

Speaker 2 (01:28:05):
I just crazy, so random thought.
Thought number three I wantedto say and I said this earlier,
but shout out to all the peopleat the Smoke Festival, I really
enjoyed myself and I thought itwas a great festival.
And I do like how they had.
I think it's random, but myfavorite part was seeing all
those food trucks, all thoseblack food trucks out there.

(01:28:25):
I thought that shit was sofucking amazing and I love to
see that.
I really think I know they doblack food truck Fridays.
We need more of that in thisfucking city for real.

Speaker 1 (01:28:35):
Freedom just started one matter of fact Freedom Drive
for the people.
That's a little on the westside, because my dad texted me
about it today.
You know he's a foodie.
Oh, no, they do.
Yeah, the late nights In theFamily Dollar parking lot, yes,
they have the 901 Hibachi spot.

Speaker 2 (01:28:49):
The Hibachi, they do the seafood, seafood Trucks.
They have taco trucks out there, jamaican trucks.
So yeah, shout out to Freedom.
They be out there late Saturdaynights till like 3 and 4 am.
For real.
One thought is listen, if youhave not taken your black or
white ass to go see Sinners intheaters.
Oh yeah, I heard, Sinners wascrazy.

Speaker 3 (01:29:08):
You have lost your fucking mind.

Speaker 1 (01:29:10):
It's so good.

Speaker 2 (01:29:14):
I went to see it on Friday and I first of all I
wanted to see it because RyanCoogler and Michael B loved them
together, but I really ain'thave no expectations going in it
.
I didn't think it was, honestly, my honest opinion.
I didn't think it was gonna wowme like that.
I thought it was gonna be likea good movie.
That shit is so good.
I wanna go, I want to, I wantto see it again tomorrow and the
last time.

Speaker 3 (01:29:33):
I.

Speaker 2 (01:29:33):
The last time I bought tickets to go see movies
like twice was Avengers andBlack Panther.

Speaker 4 (01:29:38):
So they go on the date, or do you want to go like
by yourself Not saying?

Speaker 3 (01:29:43):
in general.

Speaker 4 (01:29:43):
No, no, I'm not saying you want to damn a saying
do.
Is it better go on a date?

Speaker 2 (01:29:47):
Oh, by yourself, honestly, find somebody when I
went on Friday, I went with myone of my best friends.
It was no we're not doing afriend.
Yeah, blazer, you asked me afucking question.
Let me answer the shit.
I said the date and let meanswer the fucking question I'm
sorry, twin I went with my homegirl on friday.
It was great.
I've been on a date with anigga.
I think I like that.
But I think it's a waste oftime and because when you go on

(01:30:10):
a date you want to talk tosomebody and you kind of want to
get to know them In the movies.
You can't really do that.
I think that's reserved forlike relationship things.
So I would have rather gone tothe movies like so.

Speaker 4 (01:30:19):
I fucked up.
I ain't say, if you go on thefirst date or you go with your
spouse Right First date, I woulddo movies on the first date.

Speaker 2 (01:30:29):
But it's like you at home watching the movies with
your nigga.
That's what that would be, justout in public.

Speaker 4 (01:30:34):
I need to go see a movie about me because I'm a
sinner, so I need to go sin too.

Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
The movie is good.
Let me say this.

Speaker 3 (01:30:42):
The movie is good, I'm going to give you a synopsis
without telling you the movie.

Speaker 2 (01:30:48):
It's really like black vampire lore.

Speaker 3 (01:30:50):
It deals with Like.

Speaker 2 (01:30:51):
Twilight Well, not really Twilight.
I feel like it's kids playcompared to this so we don't
know a new Twilight, but listen, like the story being, we don't
know a new Twilight right now,in this modern day, I would say
the story being told is told asfar as, like a teen story,

(01:31:12):
sinners is really for adults.
It's based off of it's basedoff of culture.
It's based off of Christianity, culture and music.
And it's basically telling youhow music intertwines past,
present and future.
It's really good and I want tosay I like it because you know,
black people, we don't reallyget a lot of great horror movies
.
We die first.

(01:31:33):
This is true, I'll be horrormovies.

Speaker 4 (01:31:35):
We die first.

Speaker 2 (01:31:35):
True this is true, I'll be in a movie and die first
.
This is true, but what?

Speaker 1 (01:31:39):
I'm saying is we don't get black horror movies.
I don't remember nothing.
Lizzie, can we get through ourshow please?

Speaker 4 (01:31:45):
I'm sorry twin.

Speaker 2 (01:31:46):
I'm sorry twin, I'm saying we don't have black
horror movies.
That's centered aroundblackness and African American
culture.
It talks a lot about beingblack in the Christianity,
sharecroppers and slavery.
It talks about Mississippihoodoo, which is kind of like
Louisiana voodoo, but different.
It really taps into your past, your present and future.

(01:32:07):
I think Ryan and Michael Bevery time they do a fucking
movie together, it's crazy.
Michael B Jordan, he's just sofucking funny.

Speaker 4 (01:32:14):
I gotta come back more.
I don't believe in that horror.

Speaker 2 (01:32:17):
He's the director of both of the Black Panthers Creed
3 and 2, fruitvale Station.
He's that.

Speaker 4 (01:32:23):
Fruitvale Station is my shit.
Michael Bay Jordan, he hasgrown into his he has grown into
a cinematic.
I ain't gonna lie, I fuck withhim since the Wire.
Y'all ain't watch that shitSince that year.
But I watch the Wire and Iwatch that little dirty nigga.
Come to the nigga.
He is To all the girls saying Ilike him.

(01:32:43):
He was a little dirty niggaback then.

Speaker 6 (01:32:46):
Now he just.

Speaker 4 (01:32:47):
You get what I'm saying like.

Speaker 3 (01:32:49):
He was in the.

Speaker 4 (01:32:50):
Wire Broke.

Speaker 2 (01:32:50):
Some dirty braids Looking, crazy Looking like Mick
Niggas, knew him from the war.
Dead ass, but I remember him.

Speaker 4 (01:32:56):
No, they didn't know him.
I remember him from Hardball.

Speaker 2 (01:32:58):
He was in Hardball.

Speaker 4 (01:32:59):
I remember that too, but everybody remember G-Baby.

Speaker 2 (01:33:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:33:08):
It's all about G-Baby , I would say that Isn't that
Hardball.

Speaker 4 (01:33:11):
Yeah, yeah he was, but he didn't have a big scene
in Harbaugh but he had enough tobe on the team.
Yeah, he was on the team.

Speaker 2 (01:33:19):
My takeaway from that thought is I want everybody to
go up and go see the movie.
There was an article posted inInsider Magazine which has
people riled up because theydon't do this for white movies,
but the headline was pretty muchlike oh, sinners has made $61
million in an opening weekend, but they can do better.

Speaker 4 (01:33:39):
That's basically what the article said and so they
don't do it.

Speaker 6 (01:33:44):
I've seen it because Snow White was trash.
It was good.

Speaker 4 (01:33:47):
Snow White was trash.

Speaker 1 (01:33:52):
It was trash because, they took the whole concept of
a Prince Trump away.

Speaker 6 (01:33:55):
I just mean what's so , because I just mean what it's
so.
I just mean what it's so Likethe headlines are, they're like
it's so horrible they don'tgotta do a lot, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:34:03):
But I will say For sinners, hold on Liz.

Speaker 2 (01:34:05):
Hold on Liz For sinners.

Speaker 4 (01:34:08):
One thing.

Speaker 1 (01:34:09):
One I was nervous, cause I don't like scary movies.
And I was fine with it, sospeak to the Scaredy cat
community Go ahead, don't likescary movies.
Yeah, I was fine, so speak tothe scaredy cat community.
Go ahead, okay, listen y'all.
I hate scary, scary movies.
I don't watch them at all.
You cannot get me to watch noscary movies, right?
And I was a little skeptical, but I was on this board, my
people, because you know right,it's honestly fine.
It's not at all what y'all arethinking it's more gory this

(01:34:29):
year.
I'm not even gonna spoil it, butit is more gory than scary,
which I can see, why they havethe R rating.
Some people don't want to seeblood.
Well, they don't need to seethe movie, so it's going to
happen.

Speaker 2 (01:34:41):
But I mean, I feel like you wouldn't know, by the
series you wouldn't know.

Speaker 1 (01:34:45):
But I appreciate, hold on, god damn, what is this?
Shut the fuck up.
All right, stop the car, stopthe call.
I appreciate the fact that themovie was not predictable.
No, I have like a great gift oflike oh, I know what's gonna
happen right, I don't have towatch it.
It was not sinners literallykept me on my toes.
The whole time and I went to gosee the movie at like 11

(01:35:06):
o'clock at night.

Speaker 2 (01:35:06):
Yes, it is.
It was like it is notpredictable.
I'm a person like that too.
It's not predictable.
I do think that ryan coover hegot away from that disney cap
where you couldn't really likedisney.
You can't say certain stuff ordo certain things.
This is an adult movie, soplease don't take the kids to go
see this it's an adult movie.
It touches on a lot of things Ididn't even notice.
I found there is a historywhich is crazy.

(01:35:28):
I'm gonna say this in the movie.
One thing, a prominent theme inthe movie is talking about oral
sex and there's a historybetween black people and oral
sex.

Speaker 1 (01:35:36):
So please, like I said it's on the male side.

Speaker 2 (01:35:42):
Don't take no girl to see that.

Speaker 3 (01:35:44):
But no, it's a good movie.

Speaker 2 (01:35:46):
It's the way they presented it.
The way they presented it wasvery interesting.
So please go see Sinners, gosupport Michael B, go support.

Speaker 6 (01:35:52):
Ryan.

Speaker 2 (01:35:54):
I'm not going to steer y'all wrong, Like I'm
going to tell y'all some trashass movies.
That one, right there is nottrash.
Wait before we go.

Speaker 3 (01:36:02):

I like caramel, but I don't really like caramel
popcorn.
It's a little too hard on myteeth and I have a thing with
textures and smells and shit Idon't like that, I think a lot
of textures it, so I don't likethat that deal pickle, that deal
