Vincent Tilanus is schrijver en regisseur. Zijn afstudeerfilm ‘Bladgoud’ werd vertoond op internationale festivals en won de Prix Amnesty International France op het Poitiers Film Festival. Daarna volgde de korte film ‘Marlon Brando’, die werd geselecteerd voor zowel de Semaine de la Critique op Cannes als het Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Ook was de film de Nederlandse inzending voor de Academy Awards in de categorie korte film. Zijn film ‘Heartbeats’ won het Gouden Kalf voor Beste Actrice op het Nederlands Filmfestival. Nu is er zijn eerste lange speelfilm ‘En Iemand Anders’. De film gaat over de vrijheid die je vindt wanneer je de veelzijdigheid van liefde en identiteit accepteert. Femke van der Laan gaat met Vincent Tilanus in gesprek.
