Deze week presenteerde informateur Sybrand Buma zijn tussenverslag in de formatie. D66 en CDA hadden overeenstemming bereikt over vijf thema’s. Eén daarvan is het langlopende stikstofdossier. Na anderhalf jaar stilstand beloven deze twee partijen doorbraken op dit taaie dossier. Een belofte die de huidige demissionaire minister van Landbouw, Femke Wiersma óók deed, maar waar weinig van terechtkwam.
In deze Haagse Zaken vertellen onderzoeksjournalisten Esther Rosenberg en Derk Stokmans over hoe Wiersma de afgelopen anderhalf jaar te werk is gegaan. Je hoort hoe zo’n reconstructie tot stand komt, hoe Wiersma achter de schermen opereert en wat dat betekent voor het stikstofdossier.
