In deze week van het zomerreces herhalen we deze aflevering over geluidsoverlast en Schiphol. Volgende week zijn we er weer met een reguliere Haagse Zaken.
Al ruim dertig jaar lang willen kabinetten twee dingen tegelijk: groei van Schiphol, en vermindering van de geluidshinder. In de praktijk blijkt dat niet te kunnen: 200.000 mensen in Nederland hebben last van ernstige geluidshinder door de luchthaven.
In deze Haagse Zaken hoor je van onderzoeksjournalisten Karlijn Kuijpers en Derk Stokmans over hun onderzoek naar deze geluidshinder. Ze vertellen hoe ze te werk zijn gegaan, welke en politieke besluitvorming door de jaren heen heeft plaatsgevonden hoe ook dit dossier weer een voorbeeld is van hoe de overheid er niet voor haar burger is.
