Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to L three sixty Rugby League from every angle
joining me again the great Gordon Tellers, Delaine and Dave
Rickyo and it's official. Adam O'Brien is done at the Nights.
We broke the story last night. Twenty four hours later,
he's officially.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Out of Newcastle. What's the latest?
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Yeah, boys, obviously it's a significant development another coach in
the space of one week. In the wake of Des
Hasler's departure from the Titans, we now have Adam O'Brien
finished up at the Newcastle Nights after six seasons by
mutual agreement. Fellas this came down today, I can tell
you that Adam O'Brien fronted the playing group to reveal
(00:41):
that he was stepping aside, and it allows very much.
I would say it's a very much an amicable split.
I wouldn't say it's an ugly divorce or anything in
that regard.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Because we always hear mutual agreement, yep, not always. Often,
when when you do hear mutual agreement, it's actually not
a mutual agreement.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
Is this one a mutually agreement?
Speaker 3 (01:05):
I do, and I think it speaks to I mean,
talking to the Knights powers that the be today. It's
the point of which I believe that my Brian will
go to the presentation night like this is. They wanted
to end well here as well as possible, to the
point of which he will finish the last two games
off the season playing Cronulla this Sunday, followed by.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
The Paramatta reels.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
So look, we all believed it was in train as
far as Adam's time coming towards an end at the Knights,
and finally today the Veroster resolution.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
I've heard this for a while, though on and off
for a number of years. Really, his job's been in
question at different times for different reasons.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
How did this come to a head? What's brought it
to this?
Speaker 1 (01:50):
I know we're saying it's a mutual option and both
parties are happy content in the decision, but what brought
it to this?
Speaker 3 (01:57):
I think firmly over the last three to four weeks
the spirit within the side as far as their fight
is concerned. If you think maybe back six to seven
weeks ago, they were defending well, very well as a
football team. They were in in matches up until halftime
against the Melbourne Storm for an example.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
But over the last couple of weeks.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
The air is slightly coming out of the balloon, and
I think there's a realization from Adam O'Brien too that
come next year, come round one next year in Las Vegas,
if he's still in that hot seat, guess what the
headlines are. It's all about how the Newcastle Knights start.
And I think he's decided that enough's enough. I think
(02:39):
there's a genuine element of fatigue here as a head
coach and that it's time for him to take some
time out of the game.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
I think gets an honorable, dignified exit. He could have
waited and waited and forced him to sack him to
get the full payout, and we understand it was a
mutual agreement on the payout, which probably tends to think
it's not my and be the full amount. But I
think this is a great way to go in that
he does it himself. There is no hostility, and I've
(03:08):
got to say, look, forty three percent doesn't look great.
I actually think it's a successful reign. Okay, they didn't
hit any great heights. They kept falling into finals and
going out the back door. They won one final against
Canberra in a five v eight But you know what,
considering when Newcastle were they are in the depths of
despair through the Bennett era, the Nathan Brown he was
(03:32):
trying to rebuild them era.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
I don't think he can say it's a failed era
by any means.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
Four finals in six appearances in six years is not bad.
Adam O'Brien's failings, I think we're more pr you don't
take on the Johns brothers early instinct and.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
Sort of call them out.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
That's not going to work in Newcastle.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
There are other things I've talked about, not great in
press conferences, but these are sort of outside things, attacking
the fans at one point, which to his credit, he
acknowledged and he apologized the next day, and it takes
a men to do that.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
But from a coaching perspective, I think it's reasonable and
reasonable run Gordy. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (04:12):
I think he got all of his ideas over there,
and I just said, just the way you explained it
with both is you know, you can get tired and
they need a new voice. And they had been defensively
really good all year, right for the players they've had,
and they've had injuries. Everybody gets injuries. But the last
month I think it was up until the weekend there
was like eighty two points in five games scored against him,
(04:33):
so there was something that wasn't quite right. But who
comes and replaces him? That's the that's the big question.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Replacing is one thing, and we'll get to that too, Gordy,
but recruitment is another and it's an area that they're
struggled in day and we spoke last night about Dylan
the amount of money he's getting to go there. They've
got Kaylon on huge dollars. They're shortened the forwards halves nine.
You know, there's a few key positions to feel.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Absolutely Braith and if I would argue that ever since
Mitchell Pierce moved on, the Knights have never been able
to recover with a key half to run that footy team.
I'm talking about the likes of Jake Clifford, Adam Klohne,
Anthony Milford, Jackson Hastings, Tyson Gamble. The listening goes on
of this revolving door of halves, and coupled with that
(05:20):
is the departure of Leo Thompson, Daniel Sofferiti kirk Man
and Mitch Barnett. They're key figures that've gone on and
kicked goals at rival clubs, and I think that is
another factor in Adam's departure, that the club have realized
that we haven't been able to nail our recruitment. The
flip side to that is Fellows and I'd be interested
(05:41):
to get your opinion.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Is that him not being a good lure or is
that poor decisions by the recruitment Yeah?
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Or both?
Speaker 7 (05:51):
I think it's both. I definitely think it's both.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
You know, I've been critical of Knights management in the past,
and I think to their I think they've handled this
situation very well. But there's no denying the chopping and
changing of the hierarchy of the Newcastle Knights. It comes
with different decisions every time and different attacts of plays.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Eight hundred thousand dollars a year. Whose decision was that
the coach or the club?
Speaker 3 (06:17):
I would say club at the time, Yeah, but look,
there's no doubt coach gets to say but club. I
would have leaned towards club there, and that's backfired tremendously
for a long time.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
When did Pierce twenty two? Yeah, that's a lot.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
That's what three seasons where the halves have never been sorted.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Yeah, that's you think about it. You're not going to win.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
You're not going to do much if you can't get
your halves right over it such.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
A long spin. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
The irony of all these fellas is that now that
Adam O'Brien's gone, arguably the Knights are going to have
their most competitive and exciting spine in the last well
since twenty two, since Piers with Dylan Brown, Fletcher, Sharp
Klum Ponger and Phoenix Crossland. That dummy half it's that
looks pretty sharp, yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
So to speak, Yeah, you know what it does and
it doesn't like the potential of it. Yeah, potential And
again that's where they haven't exceeded. Newcastle is developing these
players and reaching their potential. You know, Caylan is a
fantastic player and I've said he can be the best
player in the competition. He plays limited games, He's injured
(07:23):
a lot, and when he has played he hasn't been
his best this year. But we know how great he is.
Dylan Brown, I mean, what are we going to get there?
We don't know, Like it's already overs even if he
does play well there.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
But if he doesn't play well there.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
It's in a horrific bund and then you know you've
got Fletcher's got all the potential in the world. He's
been really good at times, but still still a jury
out on him, and then Phoenix as well.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
He's a really good player.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
But you know, so, yeah, you're right, there is potential
there and it's exciting if they get it right. And
that's why the coach is probably so important. And that
leads me to this. I spoke to Peter part this morning.
The talk around Blake greenbeing done is not done, so
there was that was a bit premature, which he spoke
about the show last night. I do believe they are
going to go through a process and interview coaches, and
(08:14):
I've heard as early as this morning Justin Holbrook he
is the front runner. Don't know how much I can
read into that or believe that he's obviously a chance.
What do we know about that?
Speaker 3 (08:24):
That's firmly my mail that I'm receiving, guys, is that
Justin Holbrook is the front runner.
Speaker 5 (08:30):
The head Castle background, there's a Newcastle back and I
think that's I'm not saying that's the prerequisite, but I
think that's a plus.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Yep.
Speaker 5 (08:38):
I think there needs to be a reconnection to the
community somewhat and that's not.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
The worst series.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Here is here playing for Newcastle.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
He spent three years at Saint Helen.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
You think that's because we did touch on that last time.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
There are some.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
Places you need to have it's good to have a connection.
It was just works well, you know what I found
bothers And again you don't go by social media because
it's not real life. But last week when the Broncos
did their five day camp and they went to Maitland
and they worked hate the person in the putting the
(09:12):
proofs in the butt. They filled Maitland. They filled that showground.
Now let's be honestly there to see Reese Walsh. But
there was a lot of commenting that why doesn't our
club do this sort of thing?
Speaker 2 (09:23):
And it just made me, I just.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
Wonder, I'm not close enough to it.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
Is there a disconnect between the club and the community.
I mean, you see that those crowds, they're there every week,
so every second week.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
So I think every coach at every club needs to
involve the community and that is that it can be overlooked.
But he's so underestimated. Now they are your people. Now
they are who support you, They inspire the players and
they are why you play. So like I think any
(09:56):
coach who goes in there, and especially in Newcastle, Newcastle
could be coming last and I'll have more than any
other team coming last would have it at their games.
That's how loyal these fans are. So you've got to
invest into them. And you're right, like having someone who's
experienced Newcastle before and knows the town is definitely an advantage.
But the thing is like Blake was front centered yesterday.
(10:19):
Now it's Holebrook and that's only less than twenty four hour.
It was twelve hours later, but Holbrook all of a
sudden went past him in the horse race. So you
know we're going to get a lot of speculation. He
let's just talk about everythink are the options?
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Is there any other doing?
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Young is another name that has come across my desk, guys,
current assistant coach of the Saint George Lawarre Dragons, formerly
did astinct with the Cowboys, definitely has aspirations to be
an NRL coach. And from what we know not only
about Dean but the Young family there are hard nosed
bunch and they he would bring toughness and a defensive
(10:54):
mindset to that football club. The other one is Willy Peters,
who has an increasing resume from what is achieving in
the UK Super League, has an attachment to the Knights
having previously worked there, and also has had an apprenticeship
at a number of other clubs as well. So I
think they're the names justin wholebook, Blake Growing, Dean Young
and Willie Peters.
Speaker 5 (11:13):
Willie Peters is interesting to me because he's done some
great things over at Hull, but that's out of side,
out of mind here. Now he's going to be an
assistant coach I believe at the Kangaroos.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
Can you confirm that? Cordy can't confirm it.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
And if he gets rave reviews from players, players talk
and he will get. If he gets rave reviews from
the players about his intellect and about the way he
connects with players, you can bet he will be if
he's not snapped up beforehand, he will be the first
cab off the rank next year.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
He's incredible, how out of side, out of mind you
are in the Super League he's done. If you actually
look at what he's been able to achieve, that whole
k are it is unbelievable where.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
They were and where they are now.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
So obviously I'm close with Billy, so I think he's
going to be an enterrol coach. Doubt about that whether
this is this is the one or not. I think
you do a fantastic job. But he's killing it over.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
There, Fellas what will be absolutely critical And I went
and had to look at the off contract list for
twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 7 (12:13):
Now that feels like ages away next year's twenty six.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Right in twenty seven the Knights have fifteen players off
contract so from next November one. In twenty six November one,
the likes of Kaylen Ponger, Bradman Best, Dylan Lucas, Jacob
Sie thirty and Dominic Young arguably that the club's best
players will be available on the open market.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
Now.
Speaker 7 (12:37):
The initial stages of the new head coach, his.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Ability to show a vision, to show that we're going
to have success here will be absolutely critical to keeping
those players off the idea.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
What's critical of the new coach is being strong and
making tough decisions, you know, because they've got a bit
around in service, a little bit in Newcastle. You know,
you've got Blake Green there, who's is there attacking coach.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
He's their halves coach. He's been underneath Adam.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
O'Brien and he's good mates with Kaylin and he's close
to the to the playing group, and that's a really
good thing. But you're actually going to need someone score
points exactly. Well, that's one thing, but you're going to
need someone to come in there. And this takes me
to this takes me to Kaylen pomer Right. Get everyone's
opinion on this. We spoke last night. Takes up a
lot of the cap there, unfortunately, well not unfortunately, but
(13:28):
they've spent a lot on Dylan.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
What do they do there?
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Do they do they?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Here's the stats on Pine.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
I mean, fifty four.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Games missing, playing, one hundred and thirty seven win percentage
of thirty seven percent when they're missing and forty four
percent when he's playing. So it's not a huge difference
for a player of his ell and average points. They
are similar when he plays and when he doesn't. Now,
the discrepancy there isn't that much for the amount of
money that he's on.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Again, I love him and I'm not saying.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Get rid of him, but this is going to have
to come a time there where Kaylen either steps up
and steps up quick or whoever comes. He makes a
tough decision. What do you do if you're the coach?
What does the coach do when he well?
Speaker 6 (14:13):
You want to keep your best players, and Kayln Ponger
is certainly one of those. I think they are approved slightly,
but he's been Robinson Cruso. Then I think they've lacked
the number seven since Mitchell Pierce sort of filled a gap,
but since Andrew John's left, so without the direction, and
that club's lost a bit of direction.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Debating his talent and no one's debating how great he
can be. But when you look at the numbers, that
an't lie.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
They don't lie.
Speaker 5 (14:38):
So you take out that ten game run in twenty
three and all of a sudden it's bad even when
he plays. And when he doesn't play, is he the
fullback breath like it? Would you entertain any thought? Yes,
of putting him in the heart, I would entertain it.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
The only problem the last time was it was his
defense and his positional position of his head. He got
knocked out so many times is time was out and
they had to put him back because he was he
was getting knocked out and his technique wasn't good. But
if you want your best player touching the ball, because
they've always had a game plan in Newcastle of how
to get the ball in the best spot on the
field for Kaitlin to then execute his style he's playing
(15:15):
be effective. Most of the time, they don't get it
to him. They can't because their halves haven't been effective enough.
But who knows if their next halves will be either.
You know, I think.
Speaker 6 (15:24):
It's so Brown seven six.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Yeah, you could do that.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
Yeah, yeah, I'm not saying to do it, but I
would think that it's an option. It's an option.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
What's really interesting, guys, Dylan Brown is right on the
radar of the Keyweek Test team. Stacy Jones wants to
pick Dylan Brown and that will shorten his preparation in
joining Newcastle. It's gonna be interesting to see if actually
Dylan accepts the offer to play with New Zealand. I'm
sure he would be passionate about it, but it is
going to shorten that preseason like nothing else under a
(15:58):
new coach at Newcastle, of which is a new look spine.
It is so critical this preseason, of which will be
shortened anyway. Do to the fact they're going to Las Vegas,
they go earlier than the other the rest of the
comp and it's huge.
Speaker 5 (16:10):
Absolutely, it'd be interesting when they do their search for
the coach how much this comes up in conversation. What
are you going to do with Dylan Brown? Are you
going to get the best out of him? What are
you going to do with Justin Obril? So this about
him attack minded coach. Now his record at the Gold
Coast is looking better by the day because what followed
since wasn't much chop either, So I can see why
(16:33):
they're at least looking at the attacking minded horble.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
All right, Ivan clear He has defended his decision to
rest sixteen players as the Panthers chase their fifth straight premiership.
Speaker 8 (16:43):
I think we did it pretty much the same last
game twenty two, when it's different there, we'd already see.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
It in my premiership.
Speaker 8 (16:51):
I get that we just decided that, you know, if
we're going to wrest a number one wee miles, We'll
just keep going. Every decisions that I kind of make
in my job. You have a lot of different ramifications,
do you Some come clearer than others, And this one
was fairly clear.
Speaker 9 (17:06):
Actually, well you didn't reevaluate what you do for the
dragon's game.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
Now I've got a plan for next week. We've got
to restart moment, I guess, and that's yeah, we'll be
looking to do that after this week.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
The rest first, it's dividing the game, or is it.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
I don't have a problem.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
You love it.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
I have no problem.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
It's a strategic genius.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
But nothing's been proven.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Well what do you It doesn't doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
Okay, it's strategic genius. If what if? What if?
Speaker 2 (17:38):
They they're going to be they're resting their players regardless, Ye, you.
Speaker 4 (17:42):
Were going to be fresher.
Speaker 6 (17:43):
Our friend here goes to Hawaii every year for three
weeks or where do you start?
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Right?
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Anyway, But it does, Douglas, It's all good.
Speaker 4 (17:50):
It does freshen you up.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Right.
Speaker 6 (17:52):
So the only thing that was going to stop Penrith right,
so they were what coming last in round twelve?
Speaker 4 (17:59):
They need to be.
Speaker 5 (18:02):
Penrith have shown something over the last couple of weeks.
That's a little warrusome with Nathan Cleary. In the four
years they've won the camp, only once are they blown
an eight point lead twice if you include Yo twice
in four years, they've blown an eight point lead.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
They've done it twice in the last two weeks.
Speaker 5 (18:18):
Doesn't that tell you they are running on empty and
that they need a break. I've got a devil's advocate.
What if he does it again? What if he rested
for a second straight.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Well that's where his reaction quite interesting in the press
conference today where he did indicate it's time to get
the momentum back next week.
Speaker 7 (18:37):
Because I thought of that too, Dan.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
What's stopping him from doing it again and continue to
rest and get them and run out onto the finals.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Let me say this, Let me say this.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
What is the difference between this all right, it's sixteen
players and when he rests six of them after in Origin,
what's the difference?
Speaker 4 (18:54):
Well, it's ten players, yes, but it's the same principle.
Speaker 5 (18:59):
Everyone calls I'm a genius and all the coaches Bellamy
are their geniuses? For are they're looking after their players
because they're going to play in a round twenty clash?
What's the difference Because it's Thursday night football, because it's
on nine and it's on Fox. I mean, I understand
why TV bosses are filthy. They should be Yep, that's
the and I can see the NRL actually trying to
(19:19):
legislate against this, whether it's having some system where an
x amount of players must be say the top seventeen
paid players, and a certain amount of that must be named,
and if they're not, the NRL will automatically look at it.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
I can see that.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
But even that's for it with danger.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
Which leads me to I'm a big fan, but my
boss isn't such a big fan.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Well, bro, my contracts up. You've just lost it. I'm
signing with my boss.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
But we do we do understand it.
Speaker 4 (19:47):
In all seriousness.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
Do you think the NRL need to look at capping
the number of players you can rest?
Speaker 7 (19:54):
What if the entire tire round the entire round it?
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Well, because when you give a train end, when.
Speaker 6 (20:02):
And you're running and you're getting the blood, sweat and tears,
you do it the holder trophy at the end of
the yek.
Speaker 7 (20:07):
I don't think I'm bashing the Panthers.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
I get it.
Speaker 7 (20:10):
It's very strategic and I can't wait to watch it unfold.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
And I totally get it.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Dan's right, they've been up for ages, they have had
a tough run, and this is an opportunity to do it.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
But it does open a can of worms. It really does.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
From from NRL crowd point of view, think about the
fan that was with planning to travel to a course
stadium months ago to go and watch this cracking blockbuster
and the second last round between the Panthers and Dogs.
They've been dutted. There's no other way to look at it.
That fan has been dunted. TV ratings will suffer.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
If there are a Dogs fan, they'll be happy, yep.
If they're a Panthers fan and the Panthers are holding
up the Premiershupe again, yeah they'll be happy.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
Yeah. Well that's a big gift, mate.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
It is a big gift. But no one's done it before.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
So when I do something that no one else has
done n sixteen players in preparation for, you know, like,
it may not pay off, but I am I'm with
him to.
Speaker 6 (21:04):
I'd like a week off. If I've won four Grand
Finals and I've played that, do you think I've earned
the right to miss one club game.
Speaker 10 (21:13):
They've given enough to the game and cast as the
last five years, mind you, but no one's playing up
Meltour's doing the same thing now they're playing Monster and again,
where's the line?
Speaker 4 (21:24):
Where do you draw that one?
Speaker 3 (21:25):
That's where maybe the players is acceptable, but sixteen isn't
players because you're doing Look, you think this is open
to can of worms to look at.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
You want to compromise, that's met halfway. Let's make it
always compare it. Look at NFL. How do they do it?
Speaker 4 (21:44):
NFL?
Speaker 2 (21:45):
The rested that will team? You didn't know the Chiefs if.
Speaker 5 (21:47):
Well, the last week of the NFL season is a
joke and only one or two games matter. The rest
of them are resting all their players because they're getting
ready for the playoffs. This is I'm surprised to taking
coaches this long to cotton, and the longer the season gets,
the more likely coaches are to do it all right.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Kevin Serretta has refused to underestimate the new Little Panthers
side while hitting back at criticism of his captain.
Speaker 9 (22:11):
We sort of got a bit of wind of it
the last week, but again we didn't think too much
of it. We've got no reason to be complacent. Where
we're fighting for every win. We're fighting for improvement every week,
and positions in our squad up for granted. And a
lot of responses to it, but I think it's ridiculous.
He's one of the most upstanding characters in the game.
You know that incident from the weekend. When you watch
all the games at foot, you see five, five, six,
(22:33):
seven of those tops incidents. So if journalist wants to
wants to report on them every Monday morning, then might
find a few more charges get handed out on a
Tuesday Wednesday afternoon.
Speaker 7 (22:42):
I think it was odd.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Yeah, it was very odd, and it was coach really quick.
Speaker 6 (22:50):
I like cranky can I like the because it's really
nice early Josh Jamal just there and now he was.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
He's not me. The buzz is running the game.
Speaker 4 (22:57):
But Buzzy, that's the Buzzy rule is.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
The king maker.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
He got.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
The change and he's still the Fazels too. He's running
the Titans at the moment. Well, one thing I will say,
and you know, I would have been pissed off if
I was Cameron too.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
If you know an article.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Has changed the results and there's no but one thing
I can't agree with there is there's five there's five
or six of them happening around. If you if you
if you keep your eye, that's not the case. There's
not five or six of these happening.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
It's a surprise they missed it.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
It was real.
Speaker 4 (23:31):
They do miss things, but this was there. I think
we commented on it during the game.
Speaker 5 (23:37):
It's not as if this is social media footage that
sort of you know, started to do.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
The round we think.
Speaker 3 (23:43):
I think Serrado is taking umbridge at any suggestion about
Crichton's character, Well, just absolutely, the relationship there is so thick.
Speaker 6 (23:54):
I agree, And actually I love christ like when play
react like that's what you watch, right, So the way
the boys come in the pushing him, which means hey,
that's not like straight away like and that's a reaction.
Speaker 4 (24:09):
So it's fair.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Cret is a great human But absolutely what I love
the way that he plays.
Speaker 5 (24:14):
Fellas, explain to me what is he actually trying to
do there? But what's what's It's.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Like a tricell.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
He's thinking, perhaps his head is the ball and he's
trying to strip the strip the footy.
Speaker 4 (24:28):
But he's just trying to inflict a bit of pain.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Damn.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
It's fair enough.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
Fair enough.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
I will ask you this, Fellows, and we just touched
on the sixteen resting players. What do you what do
you think impact it has on the Bulldogs, because as
far as my point of view is, I don't think
it's I don't be happy at all.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
He's still there.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
I would know. I would think your tickets for the.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
Game, I would think, will get you a box out of?
Is it a course?
Speaker 7 (24:52):
The only one there?
Speaker 2 (24:53):
You can take your group, the ones that travel, you
can take me.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
The only imagine if it's six or one half time. Honestly,
that's why Canterbury got nothing to gain.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Now.
Speaker 5 (25:00):
They win by sixty, they're supposed to, but if it's close,
all of a suddeny are going to be under the paint.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
