Roosters are weighing up Victor Radley's future at the club
following an alleged text message exchange that was revealed in
relation to an alleged drugs charge against Brendan Smith.

these text messages have come to light. And look, it's
my understanding that the Rooster's hierarchy are of the belief
that Victor probably didn't disclose everything that occurred a couple
of weeks ago when the story originally broke, And there

is definitely rumblings within the Rooster's camp that Victor Radley
may have played his last game for them.

these messages are a surprise to them.

the Roosters off guard. Some of the Rooster's management and look,

last game at the Roosters and whether or not they'll
have calls to sack him, he's.

But because he hasn't actually done anything wrong, he doesn't
look like he's going to be charged by Queensland Police
for whatever possession or supply.

The rooster is here because they may I know we
touched on it before, they may want to move Victor
on What grounds do they have? Are the ROLPA involved?
Has anyone spoken to them? What possibilities could eventuate here?

Well, I think it's going to be very difficult to
as you guys have alluded to it, to sack him, right,
So I feel like there'll be an arrangement between Victor
and the roosters that you know, it's a it's a
club that he loves and they do love him, and
you know he's a local Junior one premierships there. But
I feel like it's it's probably the end of the
road for Victor.

It's going to be hard to sack him because he
hasn't been charged. They're all accusations and claims. But you're
thinking more along the lines of another club comes in
manage the exit club comes and offers X. Then Nick
and the Roosters they pay the rest and they just
if he goes to South.

I don't think so, I don't. I don't think. Look,
it'd be a great story if it did break. I'm
just not sure he's the middle forward that they're looking
for in terms of size. Right, They've got Cam Murray
who's probably a similar player to Victor.

I know he's played a little bit on the edge
this year, but he's does his best work in the

of clubs that we're in for him, but you know,
he might draw off to the super League. He's played
for England, would encounter as a quota player, so could
land as a marquee player over there out of the
spotlight a little bit more earth. He's not twelve months,
He's not two months to wait though.

see how unless someone puts their hand up and says, yes,

how there's wider ramifications for that Rooster's group.

charged with anything and there's no suggestion whatsoever that he
obtained or took illegal drugs. Now more on this story
now in the Daily Telegraph and the Sydney Morning Herald
are reporting Queensland Police will we use an alleged text
exchange is part of evidence in relation to the alleged
betting charge against Brendan Smith.

These were the first messages on July fifth, from six
thirty five pm. Friend Day Let's Go shares a screenshot
of a two hundred and fifty dollars bet placed on
sports bet for Brendan Smith anytime triscorer odds eight dollars
fifty with potential return of two thousand, one hundred and
twenty five dollars. Smith then says eight dollars fifty. That's

effing crazy. Friend AY says, can I get a confirmation you.

Smith then says, I'm run on one hundred percent. Friend
Ay says, shares a screenshot sorry of a two hundred
dollars bet placed on sports bet for Brandon Smith first
tryscorer odds ninety one dollars a potential return of eighteen thousand,
two hundred dollars. Smith then replies, ha ha ha ha.
About an hour later, on the same day, at six
(07:55):
thirty seven pm, Smith texts a different friend, friend B,
bro on paying ninety one dollars for first tri score.
Friend B says, back it, question Mark Smith, I'm starting,
Friend B. I'll back it Smith, So it's not a
bad bet, Bra. Bet Sorry, Bra, ask friend A to
send you his bet eight dollars fifty anytime and ninety

one dollars sports bet. Think it's getting bobbed haha, Friend B,
I just went on, lads got fifty one dollars. I'm
feeling old. I don't understand a lot of that.

That's concerning, all right, because which part of its concerning
that last text is interesting almost directing people to place
those bets. Now, I went and did some research today
on and I'm not comparing the two, but I thought
it's that the most starkcase is Ryan ting Be the

late Roynten who was done for match fixing, a far
more serious case than what is being alleged here. What
he has been charged for. Brandon Smith is providing inside information.
Ryan Tandy was match fixing. Now Tandy, if you remember
the bet, the market was first point scores and North

Coinsland penalty ninety five percent of the It's a niche market,
and all of a sudden the ta got ninety five percent.
Ninety five percent of money was going on this march
on this particular bet Cowboys penalty. It raised red flags
and then, as it would go on to show, Tandy
gave away two pretty blatant penalties in the first few

and scored a try killed the bet, but the damage
was done, but the red flags went up.

So I feel like there'll be an arrangement between Victor

club that he loves and they do love him, and

road for Victor.

It's going to be hard to sack him because he
hasn't been charged. They're all accusations and claims. But you're
thinking more along the lines of another club comes in
manage the exit club comes and offers X. Then Nick
and the Roosters they pay the rest and they just
if he goes to South.

it'd be a great story if it did break. I'm
just not sure he's the middle forward that they're looking
for in terms of size. Right, They've got Cam Murray

land as a marquee player over there out of the

betting charge against Brendan Smith.

fifty with potential return of two thousand, one hundred and
twenty five dollars. Smith then says eight dollars fifty. That's

effing crazy. Friend AY says, can I get a confirmation you.

Smith then says, I'm run on one hundred percent. Friend
Ay says, shares a screenshot sorry of a two hundred
dollars bet placed on sports bet for Brandon Smith first

two hundred dollars. Smith then replies, ha ha ha ha.
About an hour later, on the same day, at six

thirty seven pm, Smith texts a different friend, friend B,
bro on paying ninety one dollars for first tri score.
Friend B says, back it, question Mark Smith, I'm starting,
Friend B. I'll back it Smith, So it's not a
bad bet, Bra. Bet Sorry, Bra, ask friend A to
send you his bet eight dollars fifty anytime and ninety

more serious case than what is being alleged here. What
he has been charged for. Brandon Smith is providing inside information.
Ryan Tandy was match fixing. Now Tandy, if you remember
the bet, the market was first point scores and North

and all of a sudden the ta got ninety five percent.
Ninety five percent of money was going on this march
on this particular bet Cowboys penalty. It raised red flags
and then, as it would go on to show, Tandy
gave away two pretty blatant penalties in the first few

minutes in front of the post. Problem was Cowboys tapped
and scored a try killed the bet, but the damage
was done, but the red flags went up.

way they can back up. You think they'd get massage,
swim hot and cold and just walk through it. Even

if they walk through their moves through the week, but
it's mentally where they've got to be right. And I
would be showing them everything that they've done well older
clipped up now fifteen minutes of everything they've done well
