the instant victory is realized.

Lucky we are because on Saturday night, in camera it's
on again. The Raiders Battle Born after ninety four minutes
of Mayhem will regather and refocus to take on the Sharks.
Fresh off a win against the Roosters, they are galvanized,
and they are full of belief, motivated by the narrative

(01:53):
that they can't do it, that.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
They're not on that level. Well, they don't believe that,
not for a second.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Niko Hinz defiant, energized and in the fight behind these

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Welcome to our three sixty ubiliague.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
From every angle, brought to you by Regain filling in
for the great Gordon Talus. We have Paul Crawley, let's
bring the journals in, Brent Reid and Dean Bulldog Richie. Now,
the finals are here and we'll get to that shortly,
but we have breaking news.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Victor Radley has survived the acts.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
At the Roosters. The Rooster's putting out a press release
this afternoon. Journos, what's the latest.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
Well, the latest is that Victor Radley has been saved
at the Roosters. He gets a ten match suspension. Part
of that includes losing all his salary for that ten
match suspension, which equates to a round we worked it
out before, two hundred thousand dollars by our estimates. There's
also a thirty thousand dollars fine that will go to

(03:19):
a charity, but he keeps his place at the club.

Speaker 6 (03:23):
It's pretty hefty sanctions, obviously the most significant that club's
ever doled out to a player. But you know, we've
got to be honest. There's going to be people out there.
I think it's not enough given Knicks comments earlier this year. Now,
I'm sure if Nick Haty's time over again, he didn't
imagine when he made those comments it would be used
against him in terms of a play a lot. Victor
Radley has been a law servant to that footy club,

(03:44):
a local junior. And I'm happy with where they've arrived
because Victor deserves a bit of leeway because of what
is the service is given that forty club in his
local junior. But there are going to be people out
there break there's no doubt about that. Who go Well,
you said something nex month, three months, four months ago,
and they you've changed a tune.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
And we'll get to that. Ready, what toll take on this?

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Actually I played Devil's advocate here break.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
I think look nixt come back into the country, was
in Europe within twelve hours.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
It's done.

Speaker 7 (04:11):
It's typical, Nick polotis straight cut to the chase. I think, though,
if Victor hasn't been named in the police investigation, is
it excessive? Ready, So I'm going against what you said.
But one hundred and eighty to two hundred thousand dollars
when he wasn't named in the police report.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Yes, those texts were quite damning.

Speaker 7 (04:29):
There's no doubt we believe there was a drug bill
had taken place.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
But I just think two hundred thousand.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Dollars for what he did or didn't do is excessive.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
And we'll dive into this soon. But let's have a
look at the Rooster's statement that they put out late
this afternoon. The City Roosters are aware of the references
in the media to communications allegedly between Sydney Rooster's player
Victor Radley and others in relation to allegedly obtaining an
illegal substance.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
The club will impose the following sanctions on Radley.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
The negative attention the allegations have brought to the club
a ten match suspension without pay, a thirty thousand dollars
donation to be made to this Invintent's Hospital for cancer research.
This represents the heaviest sanction ever imposed on a player
in the club's history. So, yes, Nick did say that
he had no tolerance, no tolerance at all for this.

(05:25):
But it is a severe punishment. What's your thoughts on that, Well.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
It is a severe punishment. But Nick was the one
that said we have a zero tolerance. If we find
anyone who we believe, you know, has taken drugs, we
will get rid of them.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
That was the statement.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
So more to what really said, that's how people are
going to look for a brave for good or boy
bad like this is. This is a massive, massive fine,
a ten match suspension when you put it up against
you know what other players have been fine and you
know the punishment that was handed out to Latrell Mitchell,
the punishment that was handed out to Ezra Man. It's

(06:07):
bigger than both.

Speaker 7 (06:08):
Look at that first paragraph, right, If somebody's caught doing
cocaine or leaning over snorting something.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Is there any proof at.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
All that that's what Victor Radley did?

Speaker 5 (06:18):
No, there's no proof, and that's why the police have
not pushed forward with charges.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Right. If that's the case, then but we can't take
that world because we don't know what happened.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
Politis right, is the boss of that club. There's been
conversations held indoors and they know exactly what would have
gone on, and that's why they've come out with the
punishment that they've got. Now, I'm not saying it's a
light punishment. All I'm saying is Nick was the one
that put it out there. We will get rid of
him and that will be the criticism coming from other
people within the game. Do I think it's a heavy punishment,

(06:49):
bloody oath?

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I do we know what Rugua Leag's like?

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Right?

Speaker 6 (06:52):
I mean every other club and every other fan is
going to be in the background. They're needling away at
the roosters saying, look at them, they've gone weak on
this bloke. And how can you say because in comparison,
because you al termed of his breath, they could have
sacked him.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
But that's a lot more significant. That's a lot more significant.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
How can you say that.

Speaker 6 (07:10):
I'm not saying I'm sacked, saying my point is the clubs,
let's have at in the background, let's have it all.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Say you know that, I know that.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
But what I'm trying to say this long time trying
to say, I know that, right, But how can you
say that compared to let's have a look at the
other finds that other players. That's somebody.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Let's forget about that. What's what's that calling with anything?

Speaker 3 (07:30):
To look at this statement that we do what nine
matches thirty thousand dollars, fine, just letting get through. Let
me get through it for a sec. And you got
Victor Radley who has capt double the amount, double the
amount and more games.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
Okay, I'm not denying as the significant significant.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Michell Mitchell according to one match twenty thousand dollars fine
one hundred thousand.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Which he only paid eighty of.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Right, So what I'm trying to say to you is
I understand, Okay, I don't understand that player is that
other clubs and fans are going to question this right
and going to be upset about it. But how can
you is what I'm saying, when you look at the
comparisons of a guy who drove while under the influence
and nearly killed someone has got a less amount of
time served and money. Then then the guy who's only.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
Is it goes back to statement, which that's zero.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
And Nick would regret, That's sure he would, But look
at the.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Stance that he's taken.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Would many have taken his stances? Exactly? So?

Speaker 6 (08:31):
But I asked this question, if it was player twenty
eight and the roster, you think it'd still be there?

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Twenty eight and the roster number.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Twenty eight, Player twenty eight and the roster, do you
think it's still be there? I think he gets sacked.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Well, that's hard to tell.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
I don't know at a problem because players always get
treated differently.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Star players get treated differently.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
I'll tell you what you get said about about probably
fifty or sixty players in the past, exactly.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Of course, happened the broncost.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
I'm just saying that the two guys didn't shown there,
would they would they still be no? Exactly, so you
can say about it.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
I'm just saying that I.

Speaker 6 (09:06):
Personally did not have an issue with the decision I've
reached today because I think Victor has earned through his
actions on the field and off the field over the years,
through his lords of that Footage club, through the Factor's
junior there, and he's embedded there.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I think he's deserved another opportunity.

Speaker 6 (09:22):
There were also who will disagree wholeheartedly with that and
say the club has bottled it.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
Because because it hasn't gone and it hasn't been pursued
as a police matter, right, And it then comes back
to the club making a moral decision. You know, have
you affected the integrity of the game or you know,
against our club And to sack a player by those
means is a big deal. You've got to go through
a process. You know, we've seen it in the past
with several Canbra players carne Ferguson Dog and those sort

(09:55):
of things. But you've got to go and then they
can challenge that, as Carnie did when he was at
the Sharp so cunning.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
It would have been an expensive thing.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
Even though Nick had come out and said what he said,
in hindsight he would regret it because you almost can't
go through with it. And also in the modern world,
it's you know, it's not practical, you know, because drugs
are in society, not just in rugby league. They're everywhere,
and if you're dealing with so many young people in
a football club, you've got to have a little bit

(10:23):
of compassionate times.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
The roosters have.

Speaker 7 (10:26):
Whether it's delivered or not, sent shock waves through the
ennarulo with this suspension, whether it's excessive or not ready.
The point I'm trying to make you is that this
is a heavy line of the sand which every player
at every club will be looking at very closely, thinking,
I'm a professional athlete.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
If I want to go down this path, whether it
be to snort drugs, to.

Speaker 7 (10:44):
Buy text about cocaine, whatever it may be, this is
the consequences. So the Roosters, whether you like it or not,
have probably done the whole competition and enormous favor by
saying put your heads in.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
If you don't, you're out for ten weeks.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
They've put it on them, haven't they. When it comes
to supporting stupid stuff in text messages, like whether whether
it be the messages from Radley to Brandon Smith or
Brandon Smith about the betting, like this, this stuff, allegedly
this stuff, you know, it's a message to every young
kid out there, put your phones away and don't do it.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
I reckon.

Speaker 6 (11:22):
You're asa velid point cruise in the legal aspect of this,
because it would have been really hard for the footag
club to sack Victor Radley without being forced into a
significant payout. And I think that's played a part in
this as well, the fact that legally they didn't really
have a right to sack him.

Speaker 7 (11:39):
Ready, is there a way We've just looked at all
those suspensions. They're all varying and it's both borned out.
There's a lot of inconsistencies in there and indiscretions. Is
there a way in rugby league that we can start
to get some conformity and can consistency consistency rather where
we don't have the situations where we've got this bout ten.
I know, ever, you the case is different. I get that,

(11:59):
but it just sends me.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
At the moment. It's just so hard. Got one game,
you got three different he three entirely different Circumslance, I
get it. When do they jump in? How do they
jump in? What are the rules around them jumping in?
At what time?

Speaker 4 (12:14):
And you know it'd be hard to manage, I think,
But it's a good point.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
You may there's also you can only make it so
tough because there's also the Rugby League Players Associate Association
out there, and you would think that there would be
an argument that what are they going to do with this?
Where are they going to stand? Are they going to
accept that this is a fair punishment to Richdor Victor Radley.
He's already accepted it, which probably takes it out of

(12:39):
their hands.

Speaker 6 (12:40):
I know we're going to get to Brandon, but Jesus
put some pressure on South when they hand out their
sanctions for Brandon Smith, which will come, which will come
at some point, it's put.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
In either of these things.

Speaker 6 (12:51):
I've been texting Andrew. They were not involved in this
decision that he's told me that their arm's length to it.
They'll make their own call. When the case is over.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
They come over the top.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Well it kind of as they come over the top
of this.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Lenient. I think they have the ability watching.

Speaker 7 (13:13):
I don't think SOUS will care, really, I don't think
SOUS will feel any pressure with Brandon Smith just because
the Roosters did that.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
But they will.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
They will from the perspective if they go too softly.
The NRL almost have to come over the top because
of what the Roosters have done with Brandon.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
But that's my problem, Sorr. There's no uniform suspensions. Saus
can do what they like, given he wasn't charged. Victor
did the r or planny part of this.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
I didn't check their breath today.

Speaker 6 (13:39):
Obviously happened so late, so I'm sure they'll have something
to say about it because there are restrictions on what
clubs can find.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
Do you think they would have acted if they tried
to sack the Victor?

Speaker 2 (13:47):
There's every chance they may have got involved.

Speaker 7 (13:49):
In Victors accepted the ten games too. We should make
that point. He's not bluing, he's accepted it. In that release,
he was actually attributed a quote, so yeah, he's okay
with it.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Well, but this is I see Victor every morning. He's
such a great one, he really is.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
He's stuffed up, made a big mistake and he's playing
the price for it.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
Do you think that's also another part of this too,
because there was there's seven guys that go up there
on that golf trip, right, and there's no indication and
no proof or no suggestion that any of those were
involved in this. But but to then for the roosters,
if they would have gone through and sacked Victor. That
would have the potential surely to tear a hole through
that plane group and that club potentially.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
Yeah, there would have been a lot of thought process
to go behind this decision by the Roosters. It was.
It was a messy one. It was a messy one,
and no one really knows what the right answer is
or was, and they've come up with a strong one.
The fans now, the fans. I was getting messages today,
petitions We're getting sent around by the Roosters fans to

(14:49):
say Victor, they're pretty passionate about this.

Speaker 6 (14:52):
Well, it's a popular guy, isn't he. As I said,
He's been part of that club for a long time.
You know, he's bled for that footag club.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
We all know this.

Speaker 6 (14:58):
She's got issues, has gone through in terms of head
knocks and injuries, and you know, he's a love figure.
He's at the local Junior, which is a rarity for
the Rooster So the fans love him, and I'm sure,
as I said, both, you know, a lot of people
would suggest the Roosters sort of sacked him. I don't
have a problem with where they've landed, because they Victor's
earned the right for another opportunity.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
All right. Now once again, Victor Radley hasn't been charged
and there's no suggestion he obtained or took any illegal drugs. Now,
Brandon Smith front of court today on alleged drug and
betting charges. What's the latest on this situation?

Speaker 6 (15:33):
Just been journal October nine, Braith, and he's not There
was a couple of interesting things to come out of
the court hearing today.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
It was very short.

Speaker 6 (15:42):
But he's not allowed to make contact with this alleged
drug dealer or Victor Radley while he's on bail. And
he's given bail to go about his life.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
I guess.

Speaker 6 (15:50):
So he's back in court in October nine and we'll
find a bit more out then, am I missings?

Speaker 7 (15:55):
I mean, Brandon Smith didn't tell the drug dealer to
place the bet, did he, So that's quite significant.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
He just told him the odds.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
But he only told him the odds and that he
was starting.

Speaker 7 (16:07):
But in the big picture, you can tell the butcher,
your mum, your dad, and the local candlestick.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Maker that you're starting.

Speaker 7 (16:15):
So again I'm not trying to well, this is a
fallback on any suspension the first.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
One, Dolly, and but it was probably the second one
that was a little bit more damn you, I would
say this was this was one here where he went
to the guys. He actually contacted friend and told him
the odds of both bets anytime and first tri scorer
and told him you're starting. So, you know, does anyone

(16:42):
have a problem with it or.

Speaker 5 (16:43):
They're okay, Look, it's really dumb for a professional athlete
playing in a game where you've you've given all this
education about betting and your obligations to your club and
to the game. It's super dumb. We know when I
look at that. When I look at that, you know,

(17:03):
if you're talking to your mate on the street and
you ring up and you're playing first grade and you're saying, oh, yeah,
I'm starting on paying ninety one dollars, you have a
bit of a laugh about it. I don't see it
as the crime of the century. And so when we
talk about the potential suspension if this ends up, you know,
a final slap on the wrists in the courts, just
because the Roosters have gone so hard on Bradley because

(17:25):
of what the line in the sand that Nick drew,
does that mean South should then go so hard. I'm
not so sure there will be pressure.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
I think they will. It's just whether the ennerl jump in.

Speaker 5 (17:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Yeah, But again are they entitled to do that?

Speaker 5 (17:38):
Because when you look at Victor's fine, if not for
what Vic Polita says, it's way over the top.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
It's way over the top. What do we think of
this one? Then, compared to like Tandy, Simona, there's other guys.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
There's completely different than I think.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
What's more telling is when you watch the game this game,
there's no suggestion Brandon actually went out of way to
try and score the first try run. I think you
had one run out of dummy half early in that game,
but aside from that, there was no when you watch
the game, there's no suggestion needed anything out of the
ordinary to try and be the first try score or
to impact the result in a way that might reflect
that bet. So I think when you when you bring

(18:17):
the two together, you know, I don't think it's overly significant.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
Which is the big difference between what happened with Tandy,
because you know that was an orchestrated campaign to get
a result and unfortunately it didn't work for them. But
in this instance, it's one Blake having a run from
dummy half basically doing his job, and that's what he does.
He goes out and he runs from dummy half and
he had one run.

Speaker 7 (18:39):
Increasingly difficult for any quarter law to suggest and to
press for a conviction that he altered his style of
play because of these alleged betting activity.

Speaker 5 (18:52):
But there is a bigger issue too for the game,
and we spoke about it a few weeks ago. The
fact that the game now is in bed with the
betting agencies and and there's fifty million dollars of revenue
that comes to the game. Players have to be on
board with it.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
Glos have to be on board of it.

Speaker 5 (19:06):
When you're talking about the transparency of starting teams and
that sort of stuff.

Speaker 6 (19:10):
I imagine the game and when I send the message
out of this as well, that just be careful the
messages is send and the way the en it all
sends the messages by sanctioning him in some way over
those text matches, even if they are innocent, then I
want want those sort of messagers being shared with people
of He'll repute all right.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Brandon Smith's case on alleged drug and gambling charges remains
before the courts. It's understood he'll plead not guilty to
both Chargers. Now ready Crichtons. Now, I've been hearing today
that he is a bigger chance the most think of
him playing this game against the Panthers, And what does
that mean if he does play?

Speaker 6 (19:47):
Okay, Broth, I'm going to try and get this right.
So if Crichton players, that means Burton plays six Galvin
plus seven Bally, Hayward and Hooker and Toby Sexton and
Brighton iChon.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
Play sex of the bench. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (20:00):
If Crichton doesn't play, that means Red Marney looks like
he won't be in the team. If Crichton plays, Crichton
doesn't play, well, that changes everything because Burton goes to
the centers, Delvin shifts to six, sext and the seven.
Red Marney potentially starts the game with Bali Havard coming
off the bench because it gives them.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
A bit more versatility. Crighton significant Marny misses it. If
Brighton doesn't play, Marty starts.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
Yes, that's what we're hearing breath today.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
And section drop into the bench even though Sexting came
on the field last week as a seven and change
the game. What do you think about that.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Yeah, we're going to go there. There his choice, He's
made his choice. Sorell tho. I don't think he's going
to change he seven now.

Speaker 7 (20:40):
But whether we like it or we don't, whether we
agree with it or we don't, I don't think so.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Seven no matter what. I just think you have him
at seven, kicking.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
Your head in the sand and pretending it's not an
issue when it is. There was. There was a guy
called the Finals sitting in that seat last night, and
you know he's a former champion half back and he
just tells it as it is and he says, you
know what the game changed, sext as your seven, full stop.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
There's not many players that I haven't spoken that I've
spoken to, and even Runnie Matua said the same as
an ex Bulldog's legend.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
I don't think that Sexton should be playing seven.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
There's not many.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
I know, Doggie, I'm dying on this hill. I'm back
in Galvin and seven.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
We know what you're doing.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
That feel do you feel that it's got It's got
to the stage because it is so obvious to us all,
even though you don't want to admit it, that Sexton
is at this point of his career and where the
dogs are at the moment. They're playing for their life
in this competition, not next year, not the year after.

(21:46):
Sexton right now is the bloke that is the better
half back?

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Clearly? Do you think he's around them more than we are?

Speaker 5 (21:55):
But because he has made this decision and he stood
by it and he's backed himself upon it, do you
think it maybe has got to the stage now where
he almost can't backtrack on it.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Well, if he's.

Speaker 7 (22:06):
Made the decision, you're saying, everyone agrees that it should
be sextant, but why then and break you're probably the
best man to ask this question to why won't Cameron
Cirello do it then?

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Or your mates are saying should happen? But why do
you figures an elite coach, he's not doing.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
It a call.

Speaker 6 (22:22):
They've gone down, they've gone down on this road and
they've committed to it.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
You can't. You don't change it now. He obviously believes
in it.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
But that's fine, but you said that you don't change it.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Because he's the coach and he believes in it. An
somebody he doesn't believe in his life.

Speaker 5 (22:42):
Sometimes in life, you make a decision at one point
and then sometime down the track you have new information,
you are able to change your opinion.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
But clearly it hasn't okay.

Speaker 5 (22:53):
So it's like away from it.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
It's looking like Chrichton's not playing this week, okay, and
he's put Sex in a seven yep, So he could
have easily have put Burton at five out and kept
Galvin at seven.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
But we saw how Burton played last week in the
center's he was outstanding.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
You just make him my point ere because he can't.

Speaker 6 (23:11):
Play it in the centers of Steve Crichton's available and
he's got to be in the team. So that forces
you in the decision we play are you going to drop?

Speaker 3 (23:20):
It's been great you keep in the team somewhere, but
even on that, you keep playmakers.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
They're the one's going to win your grand finals. So
we're talking.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
We're about to talk about Nicko Hines and Jamal Foggan
and how important they are winning the premiership, not just games,
winning the competition. That's what you prioritize. I think what's
what's important he too is Crichton looks like he's going
to be out. The big move is that Marny is starting.
So are you happy with that or not.

Speaker 7 (23:47):
I said on the show a month ago that I
would have had read Marny starting every week in the finals.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
He's a finals player.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
He's got a bit of niggering him, he's got a
bit of shit in him. I can say that on now.
I just did.

Speaker 7 (23:59):
He's the I want to go to war with Braith
in a semi final. I want to read money absolutely.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
Career, stay st stay strong.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
Well, no, this one I haven't been so definitive on.
But as long as Reid Marney keeps his wits about
him and doesn't.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Do something I can't quite this and making out like
he gives away penalties left frond center anymore, He's been
good that you can see. It's irrelevant and got nothing
to do with this decision by surround. I think that's actually.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
This one. I don't mind. I don't mind if he
starts Money, starts Award.

Speaker 5 (24:36):
On the way right, Seraldo believes what he believes, and
he's the bloke that's inside the club. Okay, so he's
best equipped to make a decision. But I reckon, if
you polled one hundred form of first graders, I reckon
probably ninety nine of them would go with the fact
that Marney should be at hooker sect and should be

(24:56):
at halfback, Burton should be at five eight cry and
then Cherry should be in the centers. Like you say
Burton was good at to say, yes, he is a
world class center, but he's also a bloody good five
eight and he's their best chance. Guys like Cooper Cronklin said,
for the Bulldogs to win the competition petition, Matt Burton
has to be it.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
That's what that's such a spin out because you know,
I come on this show and I'm a Bulldog supporter
who wants him to win. But I also talk to
a lot of players, you know, Cameron Spith said it
on Chell and I and you got a lot of
ex legends and current players and you know, ex Bulldogs
who have the same opinion as of what I do

(25:34):
on here. So it makes me That's why I say
it on here because I believe it, but I'm also
getting that reinforcement from guys who I respect. That's why
I just can't work it out. And yes, I respect
her out and I think he's a great coach, and
all I do is wrap him on this show. But
I'm still a little bit puzzled by his decision making
this year, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
And then it goes forward to next week because if
Crichton doesn't play this week, but there's a chance he will.
But if he does, and then the problem and hums
along in a prelim final and then you're going to
make the decision or do you make the decision? To
Galvin's the obvious man that goes.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
Because if the Dogs go out in straight sets the Tigers,
do they have the last laugh on this? On this
do they have the last laugh? You know?

Speaker 5 (26:19):
Okay, So if locky locky Galvin when he when he
went to the club, he said, I want to step
out of my comfort zone. And yes, he stepped out
of his comfort zone. But has it worked out best
for him? And has it worked out best for the Dogs?

Speaker 2 (26:33):
It's six months. This is a five year journey.

Speaker 6 (26:35):
You can't he goes with the journey dead said, you.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
Can't put what's going to be.

Speaker 6 (26:46):
This has been an object failure based on justice season.
They've signed him for a long time.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
Believe he is a player who's going to get better
and better and better.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
This sense into you on Monday nine, Competition Understand and
there's an opportunity at the moment, question was is.

Speaker 6 (27:04):
The Galvan thing a successful failure? You can't do.

Speaker 5 (27:10):
What I reckon. The Tigers fans will cheer if they
don't win, and regardless of the outcome on Sunday, Lachlan
Galvin will continue to be the biggest story on Sunday night,
like win lose, will draw that he is the biggest
story coming out of this game. If the Bulldogs lose,
there will be uprull from their fans. And if they
if they make it through and Crichton returns next week

(27:32):
and again became the colection store.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
Dogs fans are sticking solid and tell you if they
lose this weekend, that may change. The Tigers have had
the last laugh.

Speaker 7 (27:44):
I'm just saying that they wanted to keep him, they
wanted to spend How much was it.

Speaker 5 (27:49):
I could argue when when my last laugh, I mean
when when he came to the Bulldogs, they were sitting
on top of the competition. Things were rock and they
were they a.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Really good position.

Speaker 5 (28:02):
They were in a great position to win this qualpetitions.
How they were rocking, most of the people were conceived
bar Brent Reid that in the time that he's been
at the club. They haven't gone. They haven't gone as well.

Speaker 3 (28:14):
Cameron Smith and Cooper Kronk two blokes. No, they're not
in your team.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
They were rocking when you're right, they were stumbling.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
He keeps saying that it's true. There was stumbling in
first position, looking down on everyone. We're going to save you.
We're going to go to a break, sticking around journals.
