different side when you got Golvin attacking on one side

saw that yesterday.

The big team with Galvin is he's not over playing
his hand. He hasn't come in there trying to be
a hero. He slided in nicely. As Cameron Serada has
told us, he's just he's shown at training that he
was ready to come into the football side.

A few weeks ago I said when he was sitting

place for him to be. He needed match time, whether

But Galvin has given this side, as Cameron suspected would

Being a Bulldogs half, What did you think? All that
was great? And I watched the press conference and he
said they changed the game plan only two days out
from the game aim and they simplified it. And so
I had a look at the numbers and this is
where what stood out to me. Simplicity really and thinking
run first mentality, which you should, any elite half should

have that mindset, and these two going into yesterday's game
certainly did that. Now around twenty last week, one hundred
and thirty three run meters between them, thirteen runs if
you have a look at the difference, and then look
at the tackle bus right, two hundred and eighty two
meters between the two three line breaks twenty runs fourteen
tackle bus. So what that says to me is they
just thought run first, get quick, play the balls off loads,

and also give service to the outside men. So what
they haven't probably done enough in recent weeks or during
the season is get the border criton and get the
border sherry and quality ball. And that's what they did.
And it also took pressure off those outside guys because
they rend the footy so much. And you're right buzz
with Galvin Galvin's Achilles Hill has been overplaying his end

and passing him when the passes it on and even
the commentary yesterday that was and you could see it.
If it wasn't on, he didn't pass it. If it
was on, he did, and when he did it was
first class because that's what he brings. And you know,
you talk about evolution and why they made this decision,
and we're seeing the fruits now. Like I know, it's
only one game and Galvin wasn't the best player in
the field, but that's what's even better about this. He

made his he helped his other players. It was selfless
and helped these other players, you know, bring their best.
I said last week, everyone's focused on Galvin so much,
but in the process of all that, Crichton had lost
his form a little bit and soide Burton and look
what they did yesterday. So it's promising. Very thick.

Yeah, I think the run threat because normally, when you're
the four defender, you're the back roller and when they
run on you would just pulls you out of structure
because you got normally a bigger guy in the middle
that's done a fair bit of work and it just
opens up everybody else. And you just saw Trevoievitch. Yah,
he got pulled away from his line.

you talk to people about Locky Galvin, one thing they
did talk about this is a footy head. You've got
great footy smarts, right. So to be able to come
into a new club, pick up the game plan and
the changing two days for the game and handle it
the way it does, it shows how intelligent he is
a football player.

Yeah, let's not take our eyes off the fact that
their defense was amazing, you know, like their intact was
so good that there's been less said about their defense.
The defense has been great for a long time now,
so that is the backbone still. But as long as
they can evolve as an attacking group, then there are

But Cameron fixed one thing that the fans I know
First Team have got the ships with is is some
experts saying that they haven't played anyone or beaten anyone
up the top of the ladder. What do you say
to that, Well, and they have over the year, haven't they.

I wouldn't say they've beating a lot of them, and
I think they'll be camber ely in the year. But
they haven't a reason. They're not a reasonably cruisy run

Tough games hitting in the final final, so I mean
they're going to face those teams eventually. I'm not overly

I think, I think where they are, but that's building,
you know, for them to go there against Manly. Manly
are still trying to find out who they are and

And it also took pressure off those outside guys because
they rend the footy so much. And you're right buzz
with Galvin Galvin's Achilles Hill has been overplaying his end

and passing him when the passes it on and even
the commentary yesterday that was and you could see it.
If it wasn't on, he didn't pass it. If it
was on, he did, and when he did it was
first class because that's what he brings. And you know,
you talk about evolution and why they made this decision,

only one game and Galvin wasn't the best player in

made his he helped his other players. It was selfless

Yeah, I think the run threat because normally, when you're
the four defender, you're the back roller and when they
run on you would just pulls you out of structure
because you got normally a bigger guy in the middle
that's done a fair bit of work and it just
