Manchester United formåede ikke at vinde to Premier League kampe i træk i denne sæson. Det blev slået fast efter nederlaget til Chelsea i fredags, da United inkasserede sit 18 nederlag i Premier League. Med én kamp tilbage i PL, er det derfor umuligt at lave om på den statistik, når vi møder Aston Villa i næste weekend.
Men mellem de to kampe, ligger der en funklende diamant. På onsdag d. 21. maj, skal Amorim og truppen pakke støvlerne og rejse tilbage til Bilbao. Og denne gang er det med målet om at tjekke et trofæ ind i lufthavnen på turen hjem derfra.
På onsdag møder Manchester United Spurs i Europa League finalen, hvor kampen mellem to kriseramte klubber skal kæmpe om en plads i Champions League næste sæson. Begge mandskabers sæsoner afgøres af denne kamp. Acceptabelt eller en fiasko?
Europa League-finalen er dette afsnits absolutte hovedfokus, men udover kampen på onsdag, vil vi også kigge tilbage på sidste gang vi vandt pokalen i 16/17-sæsonen, og så skal vi selvfølgelig også vende fredagens kamp mod Chelseaog Aston Villa-opgøret i næste weekend – ganske kort.
