Speaker 1 (00:00):
That's my that's the definition that's worked all courage.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
So what's the.
Speaker 1 (00:04):
Courage is sort of energy is encourage energy and.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Where we're actually low vibrational vibration, so all the fear,
the shame, moving it up through vibration and such a reality.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Lovell joy is one of my favorite words. It's it's
one of those three day I think I get into
a studient and love and live to get live very
for work that you do around winement, do you soul
calling yourself prompt you to really do I say this deliberately,
(00:43):
will gestures this kind of work? What what was that?
Where you're at it?
Speaker 3 (00:46):
All?
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Right? So is that what I'm doing?
Speaker 1 (00:48):
I think it's hard to pinpoint. I think I do.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
And early maybe twenty fifteen where Kristin Mersey confidence and
self compassion and how I really saw a very self
compared not a very I'm passionate, which is very incredible.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Understanding.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Was that which is saying there is so much more?
And I've read and so that's ten years ago. Is
he really gotten on really daily dedicated standing feelings because
I value always mind than amaze this shift for.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Or anybody, he doesn't I actually have a book. It's secular,
so much beautiful stuff there. Who else are you following
that inspires you, moves you, motivates you.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Matt con is a really really brilliant soul.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
I love his work, his his books, his words are
like a transmission. It's so Yeah, he's very very high consciousness,
very heart centered gentleman. Who else do I really enjoy
right now? I love Abraham Hicks too, very very inspirational.
(02:04):
Esther Perel's work is really inspirational. Yeah, I think that's
a few Anyways.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
So you're doing so many really interesting, powerful things in
the world. Look out over the next couple of years.
How have you and and or mind spot had an impact?
Speaker 3 (02:28):
What has happened looking forward? Or looking the blest fears forward?
Looking forward? Okay, so envisioning how my impact has happened
some things that I'm looking forward to in the next
couple of years.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Is creating I'm in the middle of it.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
Actually is creating more access to emotional fluency, so people
can actually have a stronger vocabulary in what emotions are.
Even the difference between emotions and feelings isn't widely known.
They're used quite interchangeably, and there is a distinction, and
so the better we can be at articulating and expressing ourselves,
(03:07):
I think, the more in alignment we are, and the
more connected we're going to feel to other people. So
that's kind of the inspiration for this next wave of
mind Spot, and my work is making it a little
bit more accessible because right now there's more of a
luxury experience with it, with the one on one coaching
and the executive retreats, and so look out for some
(03:28):
more digital programs that you can take. I'm also getting
back into nature calls. I don't know if you and
I have ever talked about that.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
No, say more about nature.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
So I actually was inspired to create it during the pandemic,
and I've had some people come back and say, can
we do that again? Where you can dial in from
wherever you are in a park of your choosing, and
it's a guided experience with a small group of people
where you're on the phone. You're not looking on zoom
because that would defeat the purpose. And I'm guiding you
through a really intentional connecting experience for yourself to nature
(03:58):
and to.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
The other people in the call anywhere in the world.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yes, please, more of that. What I love about that
is like those are little doses, yeah, daily things that
aren't these big complicated things to tap into, something that
isn't in your consciousness or that's always available to you
that you're just.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Not tapping into exactly.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
I am curious though, what is the difference between emotions
and feelings?
Speaker 3 (04:26):
So emotions are the sensations within our body, and feelings
is the actual language.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
That we affiliate with. What that is?
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Right?
Speaker 3 (04:38):
So yeah, So if you're thinking like, oh, I've got
like a tightness in my chest or I've got a
sharp pain in my shoulder blades, that's the energy and
motion in our body. And then when we say, oh,
I'm feeling guilt and that's sitting in my chest, that's the.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Feeling that's beautiful.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
So my last question for you is what are the
questions that you're sitting with in your own life? Are
there big questions or moments of contemplation that you're wondering
for yourself for your own life?
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
One of them I think is because I'm in such.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
A grounded, thriving place in my life right now, I'm
so excited to share it with someone.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
So part of it is like where is he.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
So I'm being a.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Little bit facetious, but it's not a seeking energy. It's
very much a magnetic one. And the reason that I'm
sharing it on this platform is because being really cognizant
of what we're magnetizing versus what we're seeking in any
aspect of our life is something I'm very focused.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
On right now.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
And so that's a personal example because if we're in
a seeking energy, I'll just use online dating as an example.
When you go to the grocery store grocery store starving,
you're not making healthy decision and aligned decision, and so
we're in more of an attracted magnetizing space. It's amazing
how big and expansive and possible everything feels, no matter
(06:15):
what it is. So that's kind of where some of
the questions are, like, in what ways can I continue
to stay in this magnetic phase and how can I
continue to nurture that? And some of it's not even how,
it's more of just presence. And what I've realized over
the last couple of weeks is, really, especially in summer,
(06:38):
is where does play fit in my business strategy? I
actually am including a lot more play and space, and
that's been really fun.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Over the last.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Few weeks to really have more of it because I
love summer so much and it's short. And then I
guess the last question is is because I'm reading book
right now, and what do I wish younger Leah would
have come across that I can incorporate in this book.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
I swear it feels like you're walking around my mind
and in my heart. So many of the language that
you just shared is like, Yeah, that resonates for me too.
That that resonates for me too as well. The magnetism
piece versus being a seeker. When I think of my
younger self, so twenty years in coaching practice, five years
of doing this this podcast, I was very much a
(07:32):
seeker and a sense of accomplishment. Check move, check move.
Now it's what can I tracked in and noticing even
the negative stuff that I'm attracting in. And I think,
what's really important about your work? Which will be the
last thing I'd share back with you, because again I
think it's so so important what you're doing is whatever
(07:56):
you're manifesting and bringing to you, you're also doing a
beautiful job of creating a multiplying effect and having like
an immeasurable impact on how someone's going to live their
life and and and have such a fuller and richer experience.
(08:16):
It's one of the reasons why I just found you
your story so fascinating, because we need more. We need
more for Leo's, we need more more people who are
doing this this type of work, not just for the
business community community, but for the the world at large.
(08:41):
We just need more or of this type of language language.
It's not going to negative really impact somebody's speak. Need
an efficiency again, think about the business buzzwords. It'll it'll
(09:01):
make thank you more robust, more full and more live,
more vitality, and more of this expansiveness. So I just
feel really really great, thankful to have connected with you
(09:23):
and and to know that you're doing this this work
in the world.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Ah, thank you.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
It's the best way way to get this message out
out into the world.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Be well, yeah, that's my That's the definite difference between
courage vibration. That's worked well for me.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
So what's courage for you?
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Courage is sort of so courage is.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
The energy is held in our is the heart right,
and courage the the energy and shifting from those looints
where we're actually show vibrational emotions and making them so
it's kind of.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
A bit higher vibration.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
So all the fear, the shamemark so the apathy, all
the doubt, the gaill that lower vibrational stuff, we transmute
it by moving it up through courage into higher vibrational
emotions much as joy, neutrality, acceptance, love, all these higher
(12:07):
vibrational things.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
Oh, I love joys one of my favorite favorite words.
It's it's one of those things that every day I think,
how can I get into a state of joy and
gratitude and love? And I think they often live live
very much together. For so much of the work that
(12:31):
you do around feelings and alignment, did you did you
have a soul calling yourself that prompted you to really
do this? And when I say this work, I'm going
big deliberately with my gestures, this kind of like what
what was that moment work in the world where you're like,
(12:54):
all right, got it, this is what I'm doing.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
I think it's hard to point a moment I think
it is.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
I do remember when I heard it was early, like
maybe twenty fifteen or something where Kristin Neff's work inspired me,
where it was the difference between self confidence and self
compassion and how I really saw how I'm a very
self confident person, which is very external, and I'm not
a very self compassionate person, which is very internal. I
(13:25):
was very critical. I had lots of chatter. My inner
critic was loud, and it was understanding that distinction that
opened up my purview to saying, there is so much
more to my experience than I've recognized because I've been
so critical. And so that shift, I guess ten years
(13:46):
ago now is really what got me on like a
really daily, dedicated journey to understanding myself and feeling more
because I have always valued the rational.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Mind more than a mob and that kind of catalyzed
this shift for me.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
I love Kristin Neff, I mean, and for anybody who doesn't.
I actually have her book in front of me her self,
Compassion Book. It's so spectacular, so much beautiful stuff there.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
It's very much a magnetic one, and the reason that
I'm sharing it on this platform is because being really
cognizant of what we're magnetizing versus what we're seeking in
any aspect of our life is something I'm very focused
on right now. And so that's a personal example because
if we're in a seeking energy, I'll just use online
(31:32):
dating as an example. When you go to the grocery
store grocery store starving, you're not making healthy decision and
a line decision, and so we're in more of an
attracted magnetizing space. It's amazing how big and expansive and
possible everything feels, no matter what it is. So that's
kind of where some of the questions are, like, in
(31:56):
what ways can I continue to stay in this magnetic
phase is? And how can I continue to nurture that?
And some of it's not even how, it's more of
just presence. And what I've realized over the last couple
of weeks is, really, especially in summer, is where does
play fit in my business strategy? I actually am including
(32:19):
a lot more play and space, and that's been really
fun over the last few weeks to really have more
of it because I love summer so much.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
And it's short.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
And then I guess the last question is is because
I'm writing a book right now, and what do I
wish younger Leah would have come across that I can
incorporate in this book.
Speaker 2 (32:43):
I swear it feels like you're walking around my mind
and in my heart. So many of the language that
you just shared is like, Yeah, that resonates for me too,
that right out, that resonates for me too as well.
The magnetism piece versus being a seeker. When I think
of my younger self, so twenty years and coaching practice
five years and doing this podcast, I was very much
(33:06):
a seeker and a sense of accomplishment. Check move, check
move Now it's what can I tracked in and noticing
even the negative stuff that I'm attracting in. And I think,
what's really important about your work? Which would be the
last thing I'd share back with you, because again I
think it's so so important what you're doing is whatever
(33:29):
you're manifesting and bringing to you, you're also doing a
beautiful job of creating a multiplying effect and having like
an immeasurable impact on how someone's going to live their
life and have such a fuller and richer experience. It's
(33:50):
one of the reasons why I just found you your
story so fascinating, because we need more. We need more
for Leo's, we need more more people who are doing
this this type of work, not just for the business
community community, but for the the world at large. We
(34:15):
just need more more of this type of language language.
It's not going to negative. I really impact somebody's speak.
Need an efficiency again, think about all the business buzzwords.
It'll It'll make make you more robust, more full and
(34:40):
more live, more vitality, quality and more of this expansiveness.
So I just feel really really great, m ful to
have connected with you and and to know that you're
doing this this work in the world.
