(01:17):
the best show as many of us will describe it
here on this panel. It is our Opening Kickoff two
round Mock Draft Special and we have a great group
of guys here that we'll be making our picks for
the two round mock draft that we love to do

(01:38):
every year. I'm your host, Stave stein Winel. It is
my favorite show that we do every time every year,
and I am so excited for the group that we have.
Do have to mention Peyton Gerard, our good friend not
here tonight dealing with some family stuff, so he is
not available. But we have a great group of people

(01:59):
that will be making making picks for everybody, and we're
gonna go around the room here and introduce everybody. Uh
kp will be joining us momentarily. He's gonna make a
snide comment as soon as he gets on here, so
we're just gonna ignore that, but he will have the
first pick. He has. The Carolina Panthers, the Tennessee Titans,
the New Orleans Saints, and the Miami Dolphins. Is who

(02:19):
Kevin Pierce will be representing Dad of the Year right
now with his baby daughter strapped to him. David Miles
will be representing the Cleveland Browns, the Washington Commanders, the
Seattle Seahawks, and the Green Bay Packers. David, your thoughts
on your teams.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Leaves and any other game Packers fan hang tight.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
As far as the far as the rest of my team.
I mean pick two is pretty heavy. Uh, there's a
lot of the things on the on the Browns. But
I'm gonna try, like I do every year, to at
least have some resemblance of logic. We all know how
that can go. II the Falcons doing off everyone's mock
draft lash year by the quarterback in the first But

(03:03):
let's do this.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Ready, she's sleep but she's ready.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Let's do this.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Bryce Partlow is back as a general manager. He will
be representing the Bears, the Texans, the Raiders, and the
San Francisco forty nine Ers. Bryce, welcome back. You ready? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:20):
Absolutely not excited about giving the Bears any good players,
but you'll live and you'll learn.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Brandon Stevens is with us. He is the Denver Broncos,
New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, in Cincinnati Bengals. Brandon buckle up.

Speaker 6 (03:35):
You ready, Yeah, I'm ready to tank the Bengals and
the Patriots and the good name of Bill's Mafia.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Matt Miller, who is a longtime staple the mock Draft
Special has the Eagles, the Chargers, the Ravens and the Steelers.
So I just got to ask you, Matt, how much
studying have you done in preparation for this?

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Not as much as I am in the past.

Speaker 7 (03:58):
So shout out to the guy with the baby because
we have number four do any minute now?

Speaker 5 (04:04):
So if I have to dip out, well thanks.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
If I have the I mean, this could be opening
kickoff podcast.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
First.

Speaker 7 (04:13):
If my wife would go into labor mid trants, this
could be, this could be your life, This could be
the moment when it happens like so, I am prepared.
I have stuff written down, not as much as I
would have liked to, but thank you for having me.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I'm with you there.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
And Matt, she did not let me do much research
this weekend. She has been very much all over the place.
So I will just be saying my picks. I will
not be using my wild lobby to everyone here. So
loves indeed.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Todd Michaelson, uh filling in for Peyton has the Giants, Chiefs,
Colts and the Buccaneers.

Speaker 8 (04:50):
I do, I do, indeed good to be back. Uh yeah,
a little little last minute call in uh with you.
Matt did not do as much as I would have done.
In the past, but excited to tank the Chiefs.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
Very excited.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
First time ever a part of the mock drafts special
kind of our good friend of the show, Bill Bender
from Sporting News, and Bill will be drafting for the Falcons,
the Jaguars, the Bills, and the Lions. Bill, Thank you.
What are your expectations going into this?

Speaker 9 (05:21):
No, I'm excited, you know, being a college football writer
who helps with our NFL draft coverage over there at SN.
We'll see how we do. Like I said before, being
a Green Bay fan, we might have to tank Detroit
just to touch. But no, I'm really looking forward to
this exercise that I'll think. I think it'll help with
our coverage over at SN too. I'm looking it'll be

(05:42):
for good time, all right.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
And I have the Cardinals, the Vikings, the Rams, and
the Jets. But I have to bring in the guy
that will be breaking down every one of our picks
and telling us how stupid, how good, how great, or
how poor the picks are. That would be our friend
from Pro Football Network is the best draft person I
have ever seen. Ian Cummings, welcome back. Are you ready

(06:05):
to be critical?

Speaker 10 (06:06):
I'll try my best, man. You know you guys know,
I like to tend toward the diplomatic side, so I'll
try and be a little critical today. If you want
to make a kicker or punter long snapper selection to
force the issue, feel free, But I know, I mean,
I'm always this is one of the highlights of the
draft season every time I get to come on with
you guys, just in general, but especially for the Monck
Draft Special because it can get pretty crazy, pretty chaotic,

(06:28):
but a lot of fun. I want to give a
shout out to Peyton. I'm sorry you couldn't be here.
I miss you, buddy. I hope we get to see
you next time. And giving him my best for sure.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
All right, well, let me bring Kevin Pearson here because
you didn't get to do your proper introduction because you're
mad at me for not sending you the link.

Speaker 11 (06:48):
So, ladies and gentlemen, Dave does this every single time
that I'm invited on a podcast. It comes seven o'clock,
Here go Dave, keV. Where are you at waiting for
the link?

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Dave?

Speaker 11 (06:58):
Like every other time that I need you. So it's
all good. How y'all doing, everybody? Kevin Pearris KPTV. You
know the vibes. I'm here, all right.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Without further ado, it is Kevin Pierce who has the
first pick with the Tennessee Titans, and our twenty twenty
five opening kickoff mock draft special is underway.

Speaker 11 (07:20):
Yeah, we don't gotta believe it a point here, guys,
this cam Ward, We're we're we're giving up a one
center generation two position player because goddamn it, we can't
put Will Levis back on the field again next year.

Speaker 10 (07:32):
So we're going cam Ward.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
That puts David Miles on the clock with the Cleveland
brown So Ian real quick your take.

Speaker 10 (07:41):
Yeah, I won't believer the point either. He's KIV one
in the class. I think that's been a consensus issue,
and you look at how he can create, you know,
the arm talent that he has, the gunslinger mentality. I mean,
I think he can be a really good pro with
the right support.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
All right, let's get David Miles and the Cleveland Browns
officially on. David, do you have your past?

Speaker 4 (08:03):
Just do this.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
As much as it would take to fix this train
record of an organization and as many things as they need,
we are going to go with the best available person
on the board.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
You mean the heis and winner. Travis Hunter.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Woh okay Ian.

Speaker 10 (08:23):
Yeah. I mean the question is the plan with wide
receiver corner. That's been the golden question the entire cycle.
My stance has always been, I think he fits a
little bit better stylistically a wide receiver, even though he
can be a generational turnover threat at corner with his
route recognition and closing speed, but he can carve up
bbs and man coverage. I mean, his playmaking ability at
the catch point is one of one, and then he's

(08:45):
got some pretty nice rack ability too with the explosive.
It's the agility of the speed. So whatever you want
to put in Cleveland, he's a weapon. Now you got
to get a quarterback. That's the next step, and that's
a tough one too. Let's Travis Hunter once in a
You know, once in the left time is hyperboleague. You
don't want to say it too often, but it's true.
You don't see a player like this every now and then.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
All right, Well, Travis Hunter KM Ward one and two
Todd and Michaelson in the New York Football Giants of three. Todd,
do you have a shakeup for us?

Speaker 8 (09:15):
Well, this might be a little bit chalk Dave. They say,
you've got to propect the quarterback. You're gonna get to
the quarterback, and the Giants are going to get to
the quarterback here with one of them, I think in
terms of Intangible's best edge guys we've seen and sometimes yes,
Abdull Carter Penn.

Speaker 10 (09:29):
State, Yeah, honestly, it's, you know, one of those picks
where they have cave on Thibodeau, you know. But at
the same time, I believe he's going into his fifth
year option decision, right, so don't know if he's going
to be there for the long haul. And you've got
Brian Burns under the side. Abdul Carter arguably has the
quickest first step that I've ever seen at the edge position, right,

(09:50):
and he's a former off ball linebacker, so you see
the range and the explosion and the speed really translate.
But he can run the arc, he can bend underneath
the corner, and he's got pretty strong hands for his
size too. So you know, he's a guy who's just
one year into his full time edge career. So I
think the sky is the limit and already you're getting
a player who can just you know, give tackles terror
off the snap with that first step, so he's got

(10:11):
to get a little bit stronger run defense. But the
pass rush upside out of this world, all right?

Speaker 1 (10:17):
That puts us to the New England Patriots a number
four and Brandon Stevens.

Speaker 6 (10:21):
Yeah, the New England Patriots is going to be drifting
Will Campbell offense with tackle?

Speaker 4 (10:26):
Is you.

Speaker 10 (10:29):
Okay? Okay? I personally would have taken armand membu from Missouri.
Him and Campbell are really close on my board, but
you're never gonna hear any arguments from me when it
comes to protecting your QB. Drake may I was a
big fan of him last cycle, and I think he
showed flashes in his first year, but he's got to
feel more comfortable in the pocket. I think that comes
to protecting him up front. Will Campbell has been the

(10:49):
talk of the season because you know, having thirty three
inch arms at best. I believe his best measurement was
thirty three and I think the combine measurement had him below.
So armblength has been a concern for him, and he
plays kind of tall for his size too, But I
think he's the kind of outlier who can make it work.
He's got that compact power, he's got the mobility, the
football IQ, the flexibility, and then the core strength to

(11:10):
absorb guys. So I think, you know, if there's anyone
who can carve out a good career being an outlier
with the length, I think Will Campbell is that guy.
So Membo Campbell different styles, but you lock down that
left side either way.

Speaker 6 (11:21):
I did have memboo by the way.

Speaker 10 (11:24):
Okay, Yeah, it's it's really close between them. Man, It's
just a matter of what you want, you know. I
think Campbell is a little more refined right now, but
Membu is just a powerhouse man, all right.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
That brings us to Bill Bender making his first ever
pick in this mock draft as the Jaguars.

Speaker 9 (11:40):
Yeah, it's a little nerve wracking because it's an either
or here. Uh, we're gonna go what I think they
need more So we're gonna go Mason Graham defensive tacuad
to Michigan. I know Membo's there, but this was a
team that only allowed less than two sacks per game
last season, and it really is a tough either or.

(12:01):
I think with Mason Graham you get a really dominant
interior player. I know there's some questions, but you know,
for Michigan, this would be three first rounders from their
defensive line in the last four years, so as you
start to trust that pipeline a little bit.

Speaker 10 (12:16):
So we'll go with Graham for sure. It's a factory
and they got Kenneth Grant too, so he might go
round one and we'll see. But the Jaguars are really
interesting because there's buzz about Ashton Jeenti potentially being the
pick at five that we're seeing today, and then armand
Numbou as well to improve the offensive line. But I
think no one there's very little disagreement that the biggest
hole on the rosters defensive tackle. I mean, they've got

(12:37):
Devon Hamilton, They've got Eric Armstead, who's past his prime.
They really need the kind of guy who they can
orbit around on the defensive line, someone who can dictate,
you know, attention and help generate more one on one
opportunities for rushers. So I think Mason Graham, you know,
low center of gravity, really good torque output, athletic as
I'll get up really hot motor as well. I think,

(12:57):
you know, there are some issues that come from the
middle length when it comes to lurching past the center
of gravity, but overall a really good player who I
think instantly upgrades that front.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Bryce partlow with the Raiders.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
All right, Well, the Raiders had the worst rushing offense
in football last year, so you gotta do one or
two things. Improve the liner, improve the running back. And
what makes most sense for the Raiders, because they're the Raiders,
is to go running back. So I'm gonna go with
gen Z.

Speaker 10 (13:24):
With the pick ashing Genzy, here we go. He was
so fun to watch man going back to summer scouting,
like you would watch a running back and then another
one and then you go to gent and it's like, okay,
He's like it was pretty clear that early on, and
then he just validated it. I know, and I don't
make I don't try to make lofty comps, but I
guarantee you there's a sixty year old GM out there

(13:46):
who's watching his type and on like he reminds me
to bury a little bit, because I mean, the elusiveness
that he has and the production that he had, I
mean five to eight almost to twenty. Being that big
and that load to the ground with your center of gravity,
that already makes you really tough to tackle, and then
on top of that, he's got near elite elusiveness, creative
IQ vision instincts, Like you know, he's the complete package

(14:07):
at the running back position. He's a pretty versatile receiver too.
So the question with the Raiders though, right here, is
this is a pretty strong running back class too, like
Genty is alone at the top, but you could also
get an offensive lineman here and get a pretty solid
back on day two. So it remains to be seen
to be seen what the best value equation is gonna be.
But I again no complaints from gent He's different.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
All right. Well, the New York Jets are at number seven.
I almost wanted to do the crazy pick here, and
I'm gonna avoid doing it, and I'm gonna go with
the safe pick for the Jets because new coach Aaron
Glenn recognizes after his time in Detroit the importance of
a good offensive line, and I'm gonna take armand Membo

(14:50):
out of Missouri to short up that offensive line around
justin fields. Their new quarterback.

Speaker 10 (14:59):
Boom a plug from me. Man Membu is my fourth
overall player, I believe, and he just edges out Campbell
for my OT one. So big fan of the player.
Six' four three thirty over thirty four inch, arms so
the natural leverage proportional length combo is really. There and
then he's an insane. Athlete but at the same time,
too like he's not just off flash like he watched the.
Tape he plays with good knee bend and leverage. Acquisition

(15:21):
he knows how to stay square to his opponents and
the justice set angle and pass. Protection he's a road
grader in the running game, too so all of the
components that you. NEED i think he has. That and
The jets have two guards in contract years, too so
if they need to shift into guard they. Could but
ULTIMATELY i think sticking him at right tackle with him And,
olufashanu you've got a bookend duo for years to.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Come wait back to back here For Kevin, pierce but
it's gonna be The panthers a number eight.

Speaker 11 (15:47):
First, Ooh i'm really torn between two players here because
you could Give Bryce young yet another toy on. Offense
BUT i don't know how you look at That panthers
defense last year and not want to give him some.
Help so please please bring In Jalen walker to linebacker From.

Speaker 10 (16:05):
Georgia, ooh this is the pick that's been polarizing through
the entire draft community because it feels like The panthers
like him a, lot, Right but then you'll talk to
one guy and he'll Have Jalen walker in his top
five and you. Haven't you'll talk to someone else and they're, like,
oh he's a fringe first rounder at.

Speaker 12 (16:20):
That i'm a top five. Guy he loved this, kid,
Dude He's he's. Great the one question for me is,
like where exactly does he fit at the next, level,
because LIKE, I i'm kind of on the. FENCE i
don't know if he has the size to be a
full time edge. Rusher but at the same time too
as A sam. Linebacker you, know there are some laughs
in coverage at times and with gap in, Stinks but, OVERALL.

Speaker 10 (16:40):
I think he's a great. Player AND i think if
you can use him as that ATTACKING sam linebacker with
pass rushing ability on you, know obvious passing, downs third,
DOWNS i think he can you, know get downhill. Quickly
that explosive is he's got a pretty good speed to power.
Profile being loaded the ground six one two fifty thirty
two inch, arms he can get inside your. Frame he
can bend beneath the. Arc he's got that searing person speed.

(17:00):
Too he can PLAY qb, spy so he can be
a versatile chess piece for. You, again use him where
he can attack AND i think he'll be home. Free
but at the same time, TOO i think in a
Giro evro's scheme where he's gonna be able to rush
from wide nine or you, know blitz inside gaps and
things like, that they'll be able to do a lot
of different things with. Him and he can create mismatches
with that, speed with that, power with that leverage profile

(17:22):
and just the hot motor where he's never out of.
Play so it will be a little rich for me
on my. Board mover top twenty guy for. Me but
if you have a vision for, him he can be
a game.

Speaker 11 (17:31):
Record so before we go into My saints, pick you
broke down all the REASONS i love, Him but just
quick tweeener. Thing there's just a pet peeve of mind
for draft. Season me And dave talked about this last.
Year if you're not gonna draft the guy because he's a,
tweener you're telling on yourself as a defensive. Staff The
eagles drafted Kuber, degen who they thought was a. Tweener
they figured it, Out they lifted A. Lombardi The ravens

(17:53):
Drafted Kyle, hamilton who they couldn't figure out what's to do. With, oh,
look he's one of the best, safeties if not the,
best in. Football good football, players a good football. Player
you Draft Jayler walker because he's a good football. Player
figure out the rest.

Speaker 10 (18:04):
Later, Yeah And i'm generally in agreement, too you, KNOW
i think if you, are if your coaching staff is
doing their, job if they're doing the studying, work like
they should know how to use this. Guy it's just
for me With, walker the thing that he has That
dejeene And hamilton didn't is kind, of you, know being
that size outlier as an, edge, Right, LIKE i do
think there are going to be situations where if he's
lined up as a seven tech on the front side

(18:25):
of a run play and he gets hit with, duo,
like he'll get washed out pretty, quickly, Right so you,
know you got to make sure that you put him
in a situation to succeed in those kinds of. Circumstances
BUT i also, AGREE i think there is a pathway
for him to be a, really really impactful. Player it's
just kind of putting him in those, situations like you
know With Kyle, hamilton WOULD i put him in man
coverage against a five to ten twitchy receiver all the?

(18:46):
TIME i? Press not all the. Time, No so you,
KNOW i think it's weaponizing him putting him the right.
Situation BUT i Think walker is tamilented enough and a
good enough football. Player like you, said you get him
in that, situation you can do.

Speaker 11 (18:56):
That The saint number NINE Kp not sure if you, Heard,
fellas But Derek carr's arm is currently pulled pork. In
The saints have zero. Caprum we can solve two issues
with one. Pick Quarterbacks Shadre sanders From. Colorado here we,
Go shaud.

Speaker 10 (19:14):
There sanders is off the, board and the conversation with
him has been crazy, too because there's been talked that
HE i, know earlier in the cycle there was talking
that he could go as highest two or, three and
now we're hearing that he could fall all the way
to the twenties and you, know go to The steelers.
POTENTIALLY i think that's his floor. Ultimately BUT i Like,
sanders you, know the talent has been the biggest conversation

(19:35):
with him because he's not quite you, know a high
end athlete or. Creator AND i don't think he has
an elite ARM i think he has great arm. STRENGTH
i think he has enough elasticity to lair. Throws but
is he the kind of physical talent who's going to
elevate you just with that talent. ALONE i don't know about,
that BUT i do know he has one elite, trait
and that's his. ACCURACY i, mean he is so good
at getting the ball where it needs to, be either

(19:56):
with touch, throws rack. Passes my comp for him has
been Rock, party you. Know that kind of came to
me earlier in the. CYCLE i do think he's gonna
need the optimal, support but if he can get, THAT
i do think he is A qb that you can
win with because of that competitive, mentality because of the.
Accuracy the pre snap reads are really strong with him.
Too he knows where to go with the. Ball he
knows how to read postnap rotations. Too SO i think

(20:18):
there's a lot to work. With it's just you've got
to learn how to insulate his type of. Profile but
it can be.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Done all. Right we got A bryce part low ten and.
Eleven he has The bears and The niners all.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
Right so for The, bears they need some secondary pass,
Rush So i'm gonna have them Take Mike green the
edge out Of.

Speaker 10 (20:36):
Marshall mike there he, Is, yeah going to The. Bears that's,
honestly that's a lot of. FUN i can't.

Speaker 5 (20:48):
Lie i'm him In sweat make a lot of sense
to me for.

Speaker 10 (20:52):
Sure like they signed Do odengbo From, INDIANAPOLIS i think
he does feature better as that third ed rusher who
they can use alongside these. Guys But Montes sweat the battering,
ram the power, guy and then you've Got Mike, green
who's got the speed and the bend in the, finesse
but some pretty pretty workman like hands to go along with.
It like he's not just a finesse. Guy he does
have pretty good play strength in the run. Game he

(21:13):
does have the hand strength to finish rip moves around
the yard and not get washed out by. Tackles, so you,
know a really solid. Player you, know there's off field
concerns that. Teams they've done their due diligence on it
at this. Point so he's going to go or he's
not going to. Go but you, know on the, field
really productive. Player and the question is always like he
was At, Marshall, right he? Was he had insane? Production

(21:34):
was it because of the competition?

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Level?

Speaker 10 (21:36):
Right but you know he Played Ohio state and still
retapick against their blockers, Too SO i think you know with,
him he checks all the boxes when he needs, to
and he's got the finesse, component the really explosive component
to go along with sweat on the.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Edge all, right Doctor, price.

Speaker 5 (21:52):
Yep and then for the, Niners i'm going to take
a guy THAT i really. LIKE i think of him
as like If Ron artest was playing. Cornerback is a
little bit of a crackhead in an affectionate. Way Jedi
bearn From, Texas, okay like. HIM i think he's he's
a little feisty AND i like that in a.

Speaker 10 (22:08):
CORNER i like the description, Too it's very it was very,
colorful AND i think it does it does paint the
right picture with. HIM i think if you were to
pick a corner just off of his playpace and his
motor in this, CLASS i Think Jedi baron would be that.
Guy he's really really unique because he started as a
as a WELL i think he started a, corner then
he shifted to safety early and early in His texas,
career and then he moved back to corner this year

(22:30):
and played the boundary of the. Slot you, know he
was moving all over for. Them AND i think his,
versatility his FOOTBALL, iq his processing that allows him to
be a glue guy right out of the gate for.
You AND i, think you, know having that, explosiveness it's
more build up speed for. Him it's not, instant but
he's got really fast stride so he can build up speed.
Quickly he's, agile twitchy when he's matching. GUYS i think

(22:51):
he's kind of a better fit in zone right now
than he is in, man WHICH i think fits the
forty nine er. SCHEME i Think Diamadoro lenoir they'll fit well.
Together SO i like the, PICK i like the. Player
he's a top fifteen prospect for, me and, ULTIMATELY i
think you know that you're getting a really solid locker
room guy, too which is always a.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Bonus Brandon stevens at number twelve with The.

Speaker 6 (23:12):
Cowboys, yeah The cowboys are going to go to sure
up that secondary and we're going to Take Will johnson
on a mission.

Speaker 10 (23:19):
Okay Will. Johnson Will, JOHNSON i think near consensus top ten.
Guy there's been some fatigue on him, lately AND i
know there are injury issues to take note of, too but,
overall still think he's a very solid. PLAYER i, KNOW
i think he has the matching ability to play man
for his, size but he has good route recognition in.
Zone you, know he's got great click and close ability
and the ability to generate turnovers as. Well you, KNOW

(23:40):
i think the question is going to be where do
you use? Him BUT i think if you can move
To Ron bland back into the, slot Have Trayvon diggs
And Will johnson man the, Boundaries Kaln carson his, depth
that's a pretty good. Secondary you. KNOW i think that's
a secondary that's going to create a lot of issues
for quarterbacks because the throwing windows are not going to
be there all the, time so you've got to beef
up the pass rush in the later. ROUNDS i think
if you can get an, edge an additional edge rusher

(24:01):
on day two after Losing DeMarcus, lawrence that'll be. Key
BUT i always love putting together a great, secondary and
With Will, johnson With Trayvon, diggs you've got a lot of,
fluidity a lot of, explosiveness and a lot of playmaking
ability with The Ron blanks.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
All, RIGHT kp and The dolphins at.

Speaker 11 (24:17):
Thirteen in a wonderful twist of, fate this guy's landed
on our. Feet we're going to take the offensive tackle
from The university Of. Texas come on down To. Miami
Calvin Banks.

Speaker 10 (24:30):
Junior Calvin Banks, Junior oh my, GOODNESS i love THE
i can see the vision here BECAUSE i assume it's
moving him to. Guard they're probably going to Give Patrick
paul a run at. TACKLE i wasn't too high On
paul as a, prospect but he did have some good
reps later in the season when he was. Starting so
Moving Kelvin banks to, GUARD i think that's where he
fits the. Best. Personally doesn't have elite proportional length and

(24:52):
there are times where you know his feet are behind his,
hands so you want him to sync up a little bit.
More but, explosive super, rangey super physical as a, finisher
AND i think with his experience you do see some
base enough baseline, awareness no timing things like. THAT i
think he can thrive in that scheme where he will
be asked to be out on the move a, lot you,

(25:13):
know get in front of running backs and getting fun
of plays and just drive defenders. Out he fits that
style really, well AND i think the arrow is pointing
out because he's. Talented you, know he has enough experience
to go off. Of but it's still really young, too
so you know you've got something to. Mold SO i
love to. PICK i love the, fit and especially for
The dolphins With, tua you, know the health is always
a concern every every. Year now you want to make

(25:33):
sure that you haven't protected if you're gonna be fully.
Invested so Getting Kevin banks junior slotting him in on the,
INTERIOR i think that works.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Well we go To todd with The colts at.

Speaker 8 (25:44):
Fourteen, yeah The colts have struggled right to put together consistent.
Offense what's the best FRIEND i think of a young
quarterback outside of obviously we did a solid offensive, lineman
give him some, protection but a big weapon that's gonna
go get it. Regardless that's gonna Be Tyler warren From Punn.

Speaker 10 (26:00):
State Tyler warren going to The colts at. FOURTEEN a
lot of mock drafts have him going top. Ten so
the fact that he's, HERE i think is a win
in and of, itself but you, know his production speaks for.
Itself At Penn state this past, year he was the guy,
who you, know pitting him With Colson, LOVELAND i Think
loveland is the more versatile route. RUNNER i think he

(26:21):
has a wider route. TREE i think he's probably a
better athlete, Overall But Tyler warren is still a really good.
Athlete you, know he's more of a short strider for
his six', five frame which. Is unique, you know you
don't always, see that but, he can, you know do one.
Cut place he's an absolute bowling ball as a rack
threat because he's so physical and, so dense and then
at the catch point he doesn't let. ANYTHING go, i mean,
his instincts his, hand strength he is as clutch as.

(26:43):
They come and then the all encompassing usage versatility. AS
well i think exactly What the. Colts need if they're
going to give a rich one, more go one more
chance to win the job, long term you want to
give him a, safety blanket someone who you can use
in a multitude, of WAYS and I Think tyler warren fits.
The bill and then he can make, you know he
can make high. Difficulty throws he can help increase the
conversion rate because he is so clutch in. Those moments

(27:05):
so love, the pick love. THE value i think it's a.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
Great Fit bill bender fifteen With. The, FALCONS yeah I
think i'm just following the.

Speaker 9 (27:15):
Chalk here maybe some opinions vary on, this Guy But James,
pierce junior if you look at his last, two years
not just, last year you're looking at ten and a,
half sacks seven and a, half hits thirty, five hurries consistent.
EDGE rusher i would love To hear ian's what the

(27:36):
questions are, with him because we've heard. Them Too but
i'm just seeing a guy that if you get the best,
of him you're gonna get a really good.

Speaker 10 (27:44):
Pick, here yeah. For SURE and i think With the falcons,
in particular you know what have? They lacked pass? Rush
production they've had almost. Nothing Right And James, PIERCE junior
i think his top selling point is his elite pass.
Rush production when he's on the field and he's rushing,
the passer he wins more than almost to anyone in.
The class so, you know you're looking at a GUY who,
i think, you know, you know Other Than Abdul carter

(28:05):
pierce is probably the most explosive rusher in. THE class
i think his first step, is incredible but then he's
got the long track explosiveness to run the arc and
create angle advantages really early. IN reps i think the
red flags. WITH him, i mean obviously we've all heard
the off. Field rumors i'm not. AN insider i DON'T
have i don't have connections. Or anything, it's just, you
KNOW it's i think the word this brought up has
been coachability from reports that you. Do read they'll have

(28:28):
to vet that for sure and make sure that he's
someone that can. Work with but, alongside that on, the field,
you know despite being six to, FIVE under i think
he's around thirty three, inch arms so not or elite,
proportional lengths so he could get OUTREACHED the, Nfl level
AND then i don't think he quite has elite hit.
Flexibility either, you know it's a lot of, you know
winning with the speed and then winning with speed, to

(28:48):
power and so you wonder if he's going to be
able to roll his hips past the apex against stronger
offensive tackles TO the. Nfl level but he's as explosive as.
They come he has shown he can use his hands
to win around, the apex, you know and he's got
the hyperactive agility and twitch to let the inside outside,
Counters too so, you know the speed of power game.
IS strong i like the pass rushing ability, a LOT
and i think that's What the falcons are going. For

(29:10):
here you need someone to get after the quarterback because
they've had nothing in, recent YEARS and I Think James
james pearce does. Do, that so, YOU know i think
the biggest wild card is the off. The field but
if they vet him and decide that he's worth, THE
investment i think it's a great gamble here because it's
exactly what. They need.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
At, NUMBER sixteen i Have The arizona cardinals and they're
going to take my favorite wide receiver in, This Class
luther bolden the third Out, Of Missouri.

Speaker 10 (29:40):
Luther burden the third going Before ted, Ola McMillan, Matthew Golden. Amaca.
Agbuca wow I'm just i'm more surprised. THAN anything i
think if you can get him to, A ceiling i
think it can be worth it, for sure because he's
got some of the best run after catchability in. This group,
you KNOW and, i think Especially With Marvin harrison junior,
dictating coverages being that all that all out wide, Receiver

(30:01):
One luthor burden can be your. Flex guy, you know
you can scheme and touches with the SPACE that mhj
creates being that intermediate, vertical threat and he can get
touches in the short range and, you know just go.
TO work i think his rackability is. Really Strong luthor
burden is not in my top, five RECEIVERS so i
would have taken a few other, Guys Here so i'm
gonna be a little harsh, On, you DAVE but i

(30:23):
do like the vision if he can get to. That
ceiling it's just on, the TAPE and i do think
the twenty twenty three tape. Was BETTER and i also
think the quality of quarterback play did hurt him at
times in twenty. Twenty FOUR but i do also see
a guy who doesn't always play with the play PACE
that i would like as a. Route runner, you know
when he has the ball in, his hands that's when
he really goes off and you can tell that that's what.

(30:44):
He relishes but as a, ROUTE runner i think the
execution and pace and urgency can be, really inconsistent so
you want that tempo to, be consistent down in and.
Down out but he's a natural. Rack threat he's a
really natural. Catcher too, you know it's really easy for
him getting his body in the, right position and you
know he's got enough of the catch radius to make.
Those plays he can. Get vertical so the upside. Is

(31:05):
there if we're going with a wide, RECEIVER too i
probably would have gone with t Mac Or mecca Bootgut Or.
Matthew GOLDEN but i like, the Upside so i'm Willing
to i'm willing to take a, risk THERE but i
would have there were a few OTHER guys i would have.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Picked first, All right well there. You go i'm the
one that has the first. Critical pick so. Congrats Everybody
brandon stevens at seventeen With. The, bengals YEAH so i Have.

Speaker 6 (31:26):
The bengals This was this was rough.

Speaker 8 (31:28):
For.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
ME honestly i could.

Speaker 6 (31:30):
Not nail it was just gonna be. ANYTHING defensively i
just had to, like nail like WHAT position i wanted
him to Take The eve we're gonna. Go detackle i'm
gonna have Them Taking walter nolan Out.

Speaker 10 (31:41):
Of, Mississippi, Okay Okay walter nolan. IS man, i mean
he's kind Of The james pearce of the defensive, tackle
group and that he is insanely explosive off. THE snap,
i mean and we talk, about power what, is, it right,
you know it's the ability to displace offensive linemen and
what do you need? For power in my opinion too
of the most. Important opponents to, generate power you got to.

(32:01):
Be explosive you've got to flare out off, the snap
not up so that you're driving your pads and your
lower body and generating. That energy but then length to,
you know it's kind of like holding. A hammer if
you hold a hammer at the bottom of, the handle
you're gonna be able to generate more power than if
you choked it up at the. Top right so, you
know being, a longer more explosive player really bodes well.
For You And walter nolan six, foot three almost three

(32:23):
hundred almost thirty four, INCH arms, i mean he's got
that perfect power profile to go with. That explosion he
really improved this past year in both as a pass
rusher with his EXECUTION and i think it's pretty sturdy
and run defense because he can just reset the line
so easily with that in more than A great so
he's he's definitely a. Fun player you could Have Taken,
derek harmon could Have Taken tyler williams. As well i'm

(32:45):
a big Fan Of. Tyler williams but if You're, the
bengals you know you want disruption on. The INTERIOR and
i think if you're going, with disruption a guy who
has the profile to do it better than anyone with,
ADDITIONAL refinement I Think walter nolan could be.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
That, guy tah, Excuse me david With the seahawks at eighteen.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
All right so, uh, wow wow one of my, sorry
man so while my main TART someone i didn't expect to.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Be on the boards one, on board but rang he will be.

Speaker 4 (33:19):
There later i'll.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
Address the need right now in code with the guard
Out Of North Dakota.

Speaker 10 (33:29):
State Gage Yeah Gray, Gray's, abel. Yeah yep and that's a.
Great pick he's the top twenty player. For me i'm
a big fan. OF his i know with YOU know,
fcs guys that can be kind of a tricky thing to,
you know see how. They PROJECT and I Know North
dakota state Players That cordell volson hasn't exactly worked Out,

(33:51):
for Cincinnati But cody mack has been really Good At.
Tampa bay so you don't scout. The helmet that's one
of the first roles, in scout and you take each
player on a case by, case Basis and gray's abel,
to me he's got to get a, little STRONGER but
i think he's a top tier athlete with, the explosiveness.
The twitch he's flexible enough to acquire leverage and kind
of absorb power with, his flexibility and then he's. A mallerman,

(34:13):
i mean he can generate power in the, rung game
he can, displace guys and he's got pretty good hands
as a pass. Protector too but the top appeal with
him For, the seahawks who still have three prospective needs
on all three. Interior spots he can, play guard but
he also projects pretty well to center with that, Leverage
ACQUISITION so i think you can feasibly experiment with him
at any of those interior spots and he can be

(34:36):
that flex guy who just fills one need for you
and allows you to just improve your floor for. The
units so that was a big problem area for them,
last year the interior not being able to. STEP up
i Think With, sam darnold you definitely don't, want to,
you know skirt. Around that so Getting grays abel a
plus for me because. NEED talent i think it's a
perfect Confluence Here.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Tod michaelson in nineteen With.

Speaker 8 (34:58):
THE bucks i feel like when We've seen tampa at
its best over the last four or, five years their
defense is absolutely fly around.

Speaker 4 (35:06):
The ball.

Speaker 8 (35:06):
Theyve athletes just take a guy the twelve over three
hundred pounds on their. Defensive line that's kind of been
a main stand there. In Videvea so i'm going to
give him a little bit of help there on the
defense and Take From Alabama, jihad campbell crazy Athlete.

Speaker 10 (35:21):
From alabama here, We go here. We go i've always
loved the idea of this Pick Because jahad campbell gets
to Learn From levonte david for at least. A Year
levonte david one of the best linebackers in, recent memory
probably one of the best of the last, decade altogether
and he'll get to learn. From Him But jahad campbell
doesn't have too much learning. TO do, i mean he's
already very instinctive for. HIS age i, really like, you know,

(35:44):
his vision his. PROCESSING speed i think it's not too fast.
For him and then at the same, time too he's
an elite. COVERAGE linebacker i mean he can Drop in.
Tampa too he can man up big, slot weapons and
then he's a great pass rushing threat to being a
former edge recruit with, the explosiveness the length. To bend
ONE thing i want him to keep improving is the
block take on as a. Run defender there are times

(36:05):
where second level blockers will get to the contact point
first and they'll exert and they'll drive him out. Of
plays if he can learn to engage them with a
little more force and physicality and really take authority on,
those plays then he can become a true, YOU know
x factor at the. Second level but the, pass rushing,
THE coverage, i mean he's as talented as. They come
the big question with him to The. Torn labram so
he's not gonna be ready. Right away, you know. He

(36:27):
might it MIGHT be inti, mid season until he's one
hundred percent and can be out there with, His guys but,
you know for a long, TERM vision i think he
can be a game wrecker in. Short orders so big
fan of, the player big fan of, the fit and
it's just gonna take a little bit of time for
it to.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Fully materialize Number Twenty The Broncos.

Speaker 6 (36:44):
Brandon stevens, uh Yeah the Broncos take, teammax here just
pick their receiver Out.

Speaker 10 (36:51):
Of arizona really short and sweet. And, simple yeah when
a guy like this fall is? THAT far i mean it's.
Definitely yeah if you just just, TAKE it. I Will
t mac is my my wide. Receiver Four so I've
Got travis hunter my wide, Receiver One matthew golden is,
my two And Then mecha bouka is. My THREE but
i Think For sean payton in, his offense You Get

(37:13):
courtland suton as that wide. RECEIVER one i Think t
mac is really he's the perfect fit in an offense
where he can be a high functioning wide. Receiver two
because the ONE question i have with him, right now
can he beat pressed at a? Consistent? Level right because
his release package can be a little lax, of daisical
sometimes a little slow off, the line but when he
can attack dbs in space with his, you KNOW leverage

(37:35):
iq and flexibility, and agility his superpower is his short
area agility and quickness. And bend for, His size he's,
he's really really agile really, really APPLIABLE so i think
having that trade to go with his catch point, ability
too he can box. Guys out he's like a power
forward playing, the catch and he's got rax. Kills too
so If You're, SEAN payton i think you Can Keep

(37:57):
courtland sutton as your wide receiver one and just let
team act be that movement z, you know movement the
slot scheme touches to, him right or let him separate
on quick slants and get the ball out of the.
BOUNDARY right i think you can use him in a
lot of different ways and just let him be that
flex piece and play comfortable feasting on one on. One
MATCHUPS so i like to fit. A lot i Think
for bownix, in particular you want to go all in

(38:18):
on the weapons core and this value is too good to.

Speaker 6 (38:20):
Pass up it's so funny You Mentioned sean PAYTON because
i can explain my process of taking. THIS pick i,
foot hm who were some of the wide receivers who
are really Good Under. Sean paton the first NAME that
i went To Was, murkys COLSTON and i, was, like hey,
He's huge let's give them A huge let's give them
another huge.

Speaker 10 (38:39):
Receiver Exactly, Marcus Golson michael. THOMAS too i mean it's
one of those THINGS where i think. HE knows i
think he'd be able to use another. RECEIVER too I
Think sean payne's one of his greatest strengths is that
he can mesh to his personal and things. Like that
But Having courtland sutton and team. Act together those are
two PLAYERS who i think are really really fun size,
justin athletes and you can do a lot of different things.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
With Them matt miller finally gets to make a. Pick
here he's kind of been sitting there on, the sideline
but He's Got the steelers are, twenty one and Then
the chargers at. Twenty Two DeMarcus, Russell.

Speaker 12 (39:14):
Steelers, oh no f f.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
All, IT no.

Speaker 5 (39:24):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Know anything i'm not sold on this year's.

Speaker 7 (39:27):
DRAFT class i think you have a stronger cropit quarterbacks
coming out. Next year Maybe the steelers can get It
On arch manning and tank, for HIM but i think
in their division you can never have enough guys to
cover or rush. The passer so we're gonna Go with
donovan as a Rockup From.

Speaker 10 (39:44):
Boston, College, okay okay he's a he's a very fun
player in the sense that he's a high level. PASS rusher,
i mean his production this Past Year boston college was
really fun and you can, tell too like listening to
him and interviews and things, like that and just watching
the tape.

Speaker 7 (39:59):
As.

Speaker 10 (39:59):
Well well he's a true technician as a, Pass rusher
like he's not just doing, you know he's not just
winging it. Out there he knows how to manipulate leverage
and capitalize on it. IN tandem, i think, you know,
his bend his finesse is really a strong point of.
His game but theoretically there is some power potential, there too.
You know being six, foot two six, foot three within
that range almost two fifty with over thirty four, inch

(40:21):
arms he's got a really. Unique, profile now the speed
of power does not show up on tape nearly as
often as you. WOULD like i think power is still
pretty lacking in, his game and that's the biggest concern.
For me and then he's also not he doesn't have
elite explosiveness for his, size either so two potentially. Limiting
factors but he's a really workman like. Pass rusher he gets,
after it he's got the bend to go beneath, the

(40:41):
apex probably some of the best bend in, the CLASS
and i think that'll help him. A lot the thing With,
the steelers though THEY'VE. Got, tj watt They've got alex
HEISMANTH so i maybe would have gone interior. Rusher Here
DEREK harmon i think would be a great fit, For
them but like, you said you can never have too many.
Pass Rushers And, donovan ezerak who definitely fits the bill
as a guy who can take advantage and having so

(41:02):
many different mouths to feed on that, DEFENSIVE line i
think he'd get his fair share of one on. One
matchups so it's a fun fit to. THINK about i
think if You're, the steelers you've got to hit the,
defensive line the interior defensive line heavy in the next
round because this class is. Strong there.

Speaker 1 (41:17):
Back to mad For, The, chargers okay we'll.

Speaker 7 (41:21):
GO offense, I mean i feel like this kid's get
in college for a. Thousand years we're going to Go
in Buka from ohio state.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
Wide receiver.

Speaker 10 (41:29):
This is an a plus for me no matter where. He,
Goes man i'm not gonna one of my favorite players in.
The class and, you know six foot one over two
hundred thirty one and a half, inch arms and he's
got really good. Functional athleticism he can carve through his
own coverage WITH his iq and his route. Running ability
but then he's a pretty good. Rat threat he's got
good catching, instincts too, really soft, quiet catcher and then

(41:50):
he's a great blocker. AS well i think he checks
all THE boxes i, look for, you know at the wide.
RECEIVER position i like to evaluate with my three level,
threat framework, three levels can you you win before, the
catch at, the catch and after. The catch if you
can do those three things at a, high level you're
looking at being a really. Good PRO and I think
I'm that buka is one of the few in this
class who really checks each box effusively and then being

(42:12):
a blocker on top, OF that i think he's a
perfect wide. Receiver Too for lad McConkie and And For
jim harbaugh. As well, you know, no block no rock
is definitely one of their Slogans Over. Los angeles so love,
to pick love, the FIT and I honestly I Have matthew,
golden Higher but abuka is the ONE that i would
pick For the chargers because the fit is so good, All.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
Right well go To the packers are twenty Three And.

Speaker 2 (42:35):
David moles, All, right bradyce don't rip my. Head off i'm,
sorry man and came to that like.

Speaker 3 (42:42):
My Buck but i'm gonna go, defense here spl, Secondary
here i'm gonna.

Speaker 4 (42:48):
Go You, DAVE baron.

Speaker 10 (42:51):
I believe baron's already. Been.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
PICKED yeah i. Took, HIM yeah i took him.

Speaker 5 (42:55):
A lot i took him For the niners.

Speaker 11 (42:57):
Every, year dave thanks for keeping.

Speaker 1 (42:59):
This tradition.

Speaker 4 (43:01):
At least.

Speaker 2 (43:02):
THIS year i have a. Valid excuse before it WAS
just i.

Speaker 4 (43:05):
Wasn't paying, this year he's.

Speaker 1 (43:06):
GOT right i still.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
LIKE corner i still.

Speaker 4 (43:09):
Like corner, all right we're going.

Speaker 10 (43:12):
To steal he's just gonna steal, Your. Die Baron.

Speaker 4 (43:16):
Will johnson?

Speaker 2 (43:17):
Taken, Yet Yes? Will Johnson And maxwell harrison.

Speaker 10 (43:22):
He has not been.

Speaker 4 (43:23):
Taken yet and we're gonna.

Speaker 10 (43:24):
Go, There Okay, maxwell harrison there. We go thirty tons.
Of talk harrison is a fun player because you get
one thing with him that you don't get with, anything
else and that's the recovery speed or the. Closing speed
you know whether he's in recovery or in click. And
clothes his four nine forty yard dash is very emblematic

(43:45):
of what you see on, the film which is a
guy who. Closes instantly he. Gets too he gets from
zero to one hundred and, a flash and his one
hundred is as is faster than. ANYONE else's, i mean
he is closing ground. Very quickly but he's not just
a straight line. Mover either he's really. Twitched up he's
really fluid in, his hips both with his swivel flexibility
and his, hinge flexibility so he can make really quick
transitions and explode off. Of them. HE does i do

(44:08):
want him to bulk up a little bit more because
he's definitely lighter than preferred at the corner position and
that hurts him at the catch point and in run.
Defensive times but he is a pretty natural playmaker when
he has. Proper leverage and then just his mobility profile
and his ability to read and hawk him front of,
the passes those things are, very appealing and Especially In Jeff,
haffley's steam, you know having that speed on the boundary

(44:30):
can be a very very good thing. For YOU so
I would I Have trey. AMOS higher i have a couple.
Other guys savon ravellis higher on, my board but no
one offers the Speed that, harrison DOES and i think
if you can, MOLD it i think you can get
a ton of returns off.

Speaker 1 (44:44):
Of that, All, RIGHT well i Have the vikings at
twenty four and they just lost cam bind them in,
free agency but they are going To Draft, malachi starks
the safety Out. Of georgia there, you.

Speaker 10 (44:58):
Go dive you were. Deem yourself if you redeemed yourself,
for good. We're Good malchai starks is a. Fun player
he's my. Safety. ONE still i know there's been a
lot of Talk With nick Emm and worry. This cycle
they're not really comparable. To me and as MUCH as
i love the potential with Em, And Worry malchai STARKS
is i think the better. FOOTBALL player i think, you
know when you think of a, safety right a lot
of times if you don't hear, about them they're doing.

(45:20):
Something right and there was some volatility this past year
where he would go for broke and try and break
on a pass and leave something you. Know behind, BUT
overall i think looking at a guy who's shown that
he can play, single high too high in, the box
even as a slot defender, at times with that foot speed.
AND flexibility i think he has, a really, really complete all,
encompassing profile but especially for managing space on the. Back

(45:43):
end if you're a safety in single high or, too
high you're going to have to manage space between routes
and manage route relationships and things. Like that right so
you're gonna have, to, pedal, weave sink flip your hips
and transition without. Losing SPEED and i think when you
talk about, Coverage mobility starks has some of the better
coverage Mobility that i've seen in my. Time EVALUATING so

(46:04):
i love that part of. HIS game i think he's a,
good processor a, good playmaker and he's really physical in.
Support too so For the vikings, In Particular brian flora
is that. MAD genius i think he'd know exactly how To,
use STARKS and i think he's keep. ALL rolling i
had a team that's had a lot of good safeties
in recent Years With harrison smith and can't. BIND them
i Think Mal kai starks keeps. It GOING so i
love the value love. To fit that's a.

Speaker 1 (46:25):
For me Twenty Five the Texans and bryce Partlow.

Speaker 5 (46:30):
Yep so texans traded their left tackle in, the offseason
so we're going to give them a new, Left Tackle
Josh connerley Junior. FROM oregon i think he kind of slides.
Right in he seems to be. MORE polished I Like
josh simmons is, ceiling higher but coming off, that injury
it's just a.

Speaker 10 (46:50):
Little, giffy yeah it's kind of a toss up between
THEM And I josh simmons is probably the slightly better,
a FLEET but i, think connorly if you did have
reserves about, THE injury i wouldn't have any arguments About.
TAKING connory I think connory kind of flew under the
radar at the, entire cycle but He's had he does
have really solid tape despite being a. Younger guy he's

(47:12):
athletic enough. FOR sure i think the lateral mobility and
the matching ability is really strong. With him but at,
you know between sixty four and sixty five with over thirty,
three charms he's got a pretty good combination of, natural leverage,
proportional length good knee bend. As well and he's a
guy who can get out in space in the, run
game but then also be really balanced and measured and
play square as a. Pass PROTECTOR so i think he's
a pretty safe pick with measured upside for, that too

(47:35):
which For, the texans looking at the state their offensive line,
IS in i think going with the, high floor high
ceiling guy that'll vote. Pretty WELL so I like connorly.
A lot i think this is good value, for HIM
and i think he fills a need. Pretty well you
need to protect heed, to shroud but more, than that
you need to ensure that, he's comfortable because he did
not look comfortable very often.

Speaker 1 (47:53):
Last Year, ALL right i am Going With Tyler tyler
kerve the interior offensive lineman For The Los, angeles rams
because if anyone watched that playoff game Against, the eagles
it's pretty obvious that the interior of their offensive line needs.

Speaker 10 (48:12):
Some, work okay this is an. INTERESTING one i think
if you're gonna, do This Move steve avilla back, to
CENTER because i think they did have the Rookie bow
limmer who had some good reps. Last year but this is,
A move this is a move where you would really
attack a deficiency and make it an. Elite PACKAGE and
i think that, YOU know i can see the merit there,

(48:32):
for SURE because i think You've Got kevin dotson, at
guard who's a really. Good Player steve avila has shifted
between center. AND guard i know they moved him back,
to center but they could shift Him to they could
they moved him, to guard they could shift him back
to center here and Then Put tyler booker at the.
Guard spot you've got a lot, of size a lot,
of power a lot of physicality with this Group And.
Tyler booker, for me he's been a pretty polarizing prospect

(48:54):
because of the, athletic testing. You KNOW and i understand
that it's a it is a visible limitation, on tape
like there are some plays where he just can't get
out in space the way the other guards can and
it's gonna limit his. Range SOMETIMES but i also think For,
the rams you, Know Who matthew stafford for the time
being is still the engine for. THE offense i think
getting Poop Gut, devonte adams they're. Gonna keep they're gonna

(49:17):
continue to have that well versed offense where they can
get the lead through the pass and keep the lead through.
THE run I Think tyler booker is definitely good enough
in powering gap schemes and then as a pass protector he's.
LIGHTS out, i mean he's got, great footwork he's got great, hand, usage,
violent timely and he'll he'll. Finish guys he's smaller when
it comes, to finishing and he'll always play at. The
WHISTLE so i really like. The player i'm of the

(49:39):
mind that even though he's an, ATHLETIC outlier i think
he can supersede that and beat. The odds he's the
top twenty guy, for ME so i like. THE value
i don't know if it's the top need For the.
RAMS here i would have maybe Gone With trey amos From.
OLE miss i like him, a LOT and i like
to fit. A lot but this makes your offensive line.
Borderline elite so no complaints.

Speaker 1 (49:58):
For me there into twenty Seven and Raven Fan, matt, miller.

Speaker 4 (50:03):
Well we Will Take trey ames dB. Ole miss there's
the meat again in the division For.

Speaker 7 (50:09):
The ravens have, other NEEDS but i don't think you
can have enough.

Speaker 1 (50:12):
COVER guys i probably.

Speaker 4 (50:15):
Would have maybe taken an. Edge guy but you say
you like him.

Speaker 10 (50:18):
Some taking he's just trying to win brownie points. With
me it's. So blatant oh, my, goodness no it's an
a plus. For Me trey amis is definitely one of.
My guys he's a top twenty five player on, my
board and, you know you look at the way that
he produced this past Year at Ole. MISS getting i
believe it was three interceptions over ten. Pass deflections he
was a very. Productive player and it was interesting because

(50:40):
he Transferred to alabama the, year before didn't really. Catch
on but then he didn't let it. Face him he
sayed in the sec and ended up delivering six thirty
two inch arms. HE'S got i think he ran into
four FOURS and i think that that, really easy free
flowing athleticism shows up. ON tape, i mean he doesn't
quite have the elite vertical speed of a Guy Like,
maxwell harrison but he's definitely. Explosive enough he's very fluid

(51:02):
and very, you know fleet footed in the. SHORT areas
i think you know two PHRASES that i like, to
use corrective athleticism. REACTIONARY athleticism I Think trey amos is
definitely near the top of the board when it comes
to those traits to go along with the length and
the physicality and the savvy and THE zone iq his.
Mobility profile he actually is a really close rass comparison TO.
A j trell Of, the FALCONS and i think that

(51:25):
that combat is max at, a ceiling you could be
getting that type. Of player so Getting With, nate Wiggins With,
marlin humphrey that's a really strong corner group to go
Along With, KYLE hanlson i think making that secondary. Strength again.

Speaker 1 (51:38):
Twenty Eight bill bender.

Speaker 9 (51:39):
An, ALLIANCE well i Took one michigan, defensive tackle so
we might as well take the, other one especially if he.
Falls here it's tough, call though Between another Michigan Native,
derek harmon but we're gonna Go With kenneth grant The
other michigan, defensive tackle and hopefully put him next still

(52:00):
A Healthy, Aiden HUTCHINSON so i cannot be accused of.

Speaker 1 (52:03):
Tanking, here.

Speaker 10 (52:05):
Yeah, You've you've you've cleared. The allegations as MUCH as
i wanted to jump, on it, You're good you're, You're
SAFE and i think this this fit is probably better With,
the lions, you know as Opposed To. Derek harmon as
MUCH as i would love To bring harmon Back, TO
michigan i, think that, you Know alongside ali McNeil. As
well they drafted McNeil when he CAME From. Mc state
he played a Lot of, no's there but they've moved

(52:26):
him more to, three TECH so i think getting a
nose tackle to compliment him is the. Right call you
could have Gone With tyler williams. HERE too i Liked
High laue williams, A Lot But, kenneth grant there's no
disputing the upside at six, foot three three, thirty five
with that kind of, lateral agility that kind of burst off,
the snap and the dancing bear athleticism that you see
when he's stunting across the Gaps, in michigan it kind of. Defies,

(52:47):
LOGIC now i think the Idea Of kenneth grant is
probably Better Than kenneth grant. Right now you know a
lot of people jump to, you, know oh he's got
that size, and athleticism and so he's going to be a.
Good PLAYER and i think he is a better run
Defender Than mazzi smith was. Coming OUT but i, do think,
you know sustaining leverage and execution farther in reps and
overall stamina are still things that he can, work, on

(53:08):
which for, no cackle it's to. Be expected it's not
a red flag. Or anything there's going to be a
little bit, of time a little bit of an acclamation period,
for him but he's really stout at the point he
can encumber double teams and free up Work For aiden
Hudginson and, lee McNeil like, you SAID and i think
within one or two years you're getting, a really really
quality player and a Really valuable niche.

Speaker 1 (53:30):
We go to the commanders at number. Twenty nine.

Speaker 4 (53:35):
I've spoken it over with My.

Speaker 3 (53:37):
Assistant GMing she is not happy with how a couple
of our top people have. Been taken and as you
can hear her as soon, to hear she will be
voicing her opinion about the quality people that we have to.

Speaker 13 (53:52):
Go with she doesn't agree, with me but you know
what does she knows she's only two. Months old the
commanders are going to solidify the. SECONDARY again I swear
i'm not going to name some when we already. HAVE
picked i probably Will find butcher, Your Name, Shavin revel.

Speaker 4 (54:11):
We're, Gonna, yep yes. We're gonna we're gonna.

Speaker 10 (54:13):
Take. It yep that's an a plus. For me he's
he tore his a cl uh early this, past YEAR
so i know he's been recovering, from that but all
the reports say he's on track to make a full
recovery and if he if he does like this is
a potential top twenty talent in. The class six, foot
two almost thirty three, inch arms he has a documented

(54:33):
four four forty yard dash and over forty inch Vertical
from ECU's camp i think one, spring ago so you
know he Was On, Felman's freaks so he's definitely got
that and you see it on tape. AS well, i
mean he, is twitchy he. Is explosive he can cover
ground in. A flash he's really good at closing gaps
and offman and zone and kind of hawk me in front.
Of PASSES but i like his discipline for his. Age too,

(54:55):
IN pressman i do think he knows how to use
feet first and use timely jams to just, rupt receivers
and then he's a playmaker in both. Phases too he
can generate turnovers and, in completions but then also splice
his way downfield and run. Support too so if he's,
fully healthy this is a guy who built himself up
and became a first, round prospect and he's, got elite,
you know, Stier TOOLS so i think he definitely beefs

(55:17):
up the corner room and gives you a long term
start with. High Upside.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
The bills, At, thirty.

Speaker 9 (55:25):
Well we know what they did, last year so they're
not going to do. It again and they're kind of
like revisit, history HERE and I know ian, likes him
so we're gonna. Try it We'll Go matthew golden receiver
And Give josh allen another.

Speaker 10 (55:39):
Target here there, we go there. WE go i. LIKE
it i like it. A, Lot yeah golden is again
a top fifteen guy, from ME and i know there's
he's another. POLARIZING one i feel like every player in this.
Class Is but i'm a big fan of guys who can, Separate,
Independently right that's kind of one of the first THINGS
that i, looked for but also the building blocks of
what goes into that, explosiveness, Twitch agility BEN and i

(56:00):
think he's the kind of receiver who. YOU know i
have this conversation with someone else recently talking about. Wide
receivers we were kind of thinking back to the Class
With garrett Wilson And, chris alave two Guys Who chris
alave was more of the, bend finesse the, smooth. Operator
Right garrett wilson had the hyperactive twitch where he. Would
offset guys could be a little careless and reckless with,
it sometimes but different styles. OF separators I Think matthew

(56:22):
golden has elements of both in, his game where he
can bend really efficiently on route breaks with that, curvelinear
acceleration but he's also got the rapid twitch to really
snap and retract his strides and leave DB's, Guessing too
so the route running profile is. REALLY appealing i think he's,
a liquid smooth operator at the catch point with his.
Body control he's really improved his hand eye coordination since

(56:42):
his Time. At houston and then he's a good rack.
Threat too, he's dynamic he's kind of slippery and, crowds so,
YOU know i like the player, a LOT and i
think that he could have been even more productive if
not for, you know MORE accurate. Qb play but he's a,
fun PLAYER and i think getting him in that wide,
receiver room you've got so many different options to choose,
from now, YOU know i Think the bills one of
those offenses where they might not have a bona fide wide,

(57:03):
receiver one but they're gonna spread defenses. REALLY thin I
Think matthew golden can be that kind of dynamic receiver
where he can, you know be a focal point, for you, you
know generate d Plays With josh, allen's arm but also
just scheme touches to him and let him. Generate yards
so like to pick. A lot the value is great
and he's one of those GUYS that i think should
have an easy path to production IN.

Speaker 1 (57:22):
The nfl we go to the chiefs of, thirty ONE
and i love the trend that we have so far
of everybody trying To Please ian cummings right now and
win over his approval of. Every Pick, so todd let's
see if you can keep it going at.

Speaker 8 (57:34):
Thirty, ONE yeah i feel like this one's A no
brainner did not think this guy was gonna. Be here
he's gonna haunt his former Coach at michigan within the
division for years. To come Give Me.

Speaker 10 (57:44):
Colston lovelin oh, MY god i didn't realize he was.

Speaker 1 (57:50):
There.

Speaker 2 (57:50):
Either yeah.

Speaker 10 (57:51):
That's, insane, okay okay that won. The, draft brother, that's
crazy Going From travis Kelcey To. Colston, lovelin man we DO?
In nfl what are? We doing, come, on, guys now
it's this is a. Fun PICK and i know there's
been some medical Whispers For, colson loveland, so honestly it
wouldn't surprise me if he fell a little bit more
than Expected on. DRAFT night i Know the broncos have

(58:12):
been discussed as a potential landing spot, for him and
now That the broncos let him Fall To, kansas CITY which,
I mean i Know the Broncos got, tamac too so
it's gonna be it's gonna be an arms race, For
sure but Going From travis Chalacy To, colson loveland that's kind.
Of Unfair colson loveland is a special separator at the tight.
End position you talk, about, explosiveness agility, you know bend in,

(58:34):
lower body ankle, flexibility right the ability to again get
get in and out of breaks without too, many steps
the efficiency the body controls a route runner as well
in a. Pass catcher so the one thing with him
is that maybe, you know there's some room to improve
his play strength as, a blocker but at six six two,
point fifty he's got the size profile. For it he's
got the leverage acquisition and, the flexibility and he's got.

(58:55):
The motor, you know he's very. Assignment sound he has
the want to so all of those components that you're,
looking FOR and i think the upside is through. The
Roof In andy. REID'S offense i think the value. Is
phenomenal the biggest Question is kenny stay healthy because the
medicals are a little bit of. A concern but if,
he can you're looking at a guy who could go
on to take the Torch From travis kelcey and terrorize
the defenses for years. To come.

Speaker 1 (59:18):
Final pick of the first round In The. Philadelphia, eagles well.

Speaker 7 (59:23):
The team wasn't going to Go To. Kansas city he
was certainly going to Come. To philadelphia so anyone who
thought he was going to go to the second round wasn't.
Gonna happen but we'll take a Safety From, south Carolina
nick demvin wari.

Speaker 2 (59:36):
Apparely some of you one of.

Speaker 4 (59:37):
Them too but he's Going.

Speaker 10 (59:39):
To, philly okay there. We Go Nick emmon warrey off,
the BOARD and i think if there was any team
that he could go To and i'd be okay, with
it it Would. Be Philly Nick evin warrie not quite
a first round graded player, for me, but again the
athleticism is out of, this world being six foot three
two twenty with four to three nine speed forty three.
INCH vertical, i mean he's a. Freak athlete there's no

(59:59):
there's no around. That FACT and i think on tape
he's probably at his best when he can manage space
and then you know play play square to, routes right
not exactly peddling and weaving because he's not quite as,
fluid there but he's got the short area ability where,
he can, you know put the covers on tight ends
out of the slot and just suffocate. Them completely he's

(01:00:20):
got enough ability to be a big slot wide receiver.
COVERMAN too i want to see him improve his diagnosis.
AND support i think that's kind of a red flag
for him right now is when, there's misdirection when there's
crowds and it's not a clear path to a vision
to see the. Running back there are times when he
will pause and be left to step behind with his pursuit.
Angles RIGHT so i want to continue to see him

(01:00:42):
improve in run support for being such a, bigger guy
but he can be a mismatch piece. And COVERAGE and
i Think within philadelphia with, that ecosystem, you know they've
got a lot, of veterans they've got really good. Coaching
staff they know how to get the best out, of
PLAYERS and I think Nick. And warry, you know he's
definitely a player who you need to find the right.
Role for he's not as good, in support as huge
as you, would want and he's not as fluid and

(01:01:04):
coverage as you. Would want but. He's explosive he is
a hard hitter one, on one and he's a playmaker
at the catch. Point too so just get him in
a position where you, can succeed played, with STRENGTHS and
i think it'll be. Home free there we.

Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
Are on the round two In The. Cleveland browns start us, Off.

Speaker 12 (01:01:22):
Well.

Speaker 1 (01:01:22):
DAVID miles i don't know if he can hear us.
Right now technical difficulty is an hour into this mock draft.
Is phenomenal so We'll give david. A minute ian who
had the best pick of the.

Speaker 10 (01:01:40):
First round the best pick of the. FIRST round, I mean,
i mean you guys saw me pause for about five
seconds When The colston loveland pick. Was made so there
were a lot of, good picks, you know there weren't
too MANY that i, was, LIKE yeah i wouldn't have done,
That OUTRIGHT but I Think colson loveland getting the, value there,
you know getting the They Have noah gray who's kind

(01:02:01):
of stepped into that tight end two Role, with kelsey
so it wasn't the biggest need, for THEM but i
think playing the value getting that kind of Weapon And andy,
reid's offense and he's a guy who, we know, you know,
wide receiver, tight end, running back those are only positional destinations, for,
him right, YOU know i think he knows how to
get the most out of guys when they're truly, elite
Talents And colson loven is that type. Of player the

(01:02:23):
route tree is just. All encompassing you can use him
in so many, different WAYS and I Think andy reid
is the perfect offensive mind to go along. With THAT
so i liked that pick. A lot i Liked The malchi,
starks Pick The matthew golden pick, as well and there
are plenty of OTHERS that i was looking at, AND
like i can see the vision. For sure so overall
it was a solid. First ROUND and, i Know again
i'm diverting to the diplomatic Tendencies that i've shown in,

(01:02:45):
past YEARS but i just can't kick. That man, YOU
know i think EVERY every i like to be. Outcome independent,
you know you make a pick, prove it make it
right with the execution and, the coaching and you guys
are off the hook, for that because this is only a.
Theoretical Situation at.

Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
Round two gets Started with Omari and hampton are running
back Out Of north carolina going To. The browns todd
give Us the, giants pick And then ian we'll get
your reaction to the.

Speaker 8 (01:03:11):
Two, picks yeah this is ANOTHER guy i did not
think would be here at. This point we talked about
him a little. Bit EARLIER apparently i have a thing
for drafting guys that are coming. Off Injury But Josh Simmons,
ohio State.

Speaker 10 (01:03:24):
And i'll try to go a little quicker With these
summarias in. Round two i'll try to be more efficient
because that can be kind of. Long Winded JOSH simmons a.
Plus value he's probably one of the best athletes in
the class getting out, in space but then he's. Got
flexibility he's got good length for. His size getting healthy
is gonna be. The key but he's got natural right tackle,
experience too so you can just thought him in a.
Right Tackle, AMARION hampton i would give that pick PROBABLY.

(01:03:46):
A b i really like the player and he's a
top thirty five guy, for me Just, the browns, you
know maybe go, Offensive line that's PROBABLY where i would have,
gone first or you could get a. Quarterback HERE but,
i also, You know i'm not head over Heels For
jalen Rote Or, jackson dart so you, could also, you
know pass, on that and just if you're going to PASS,
on qb pass altogether and go to twenty. TWENTY six

(01:04:07):
i don't have too many. Arguments there don't try to,
force IT but i would have maybe gone with the.
Trenches FIRST but i like THE Player O. MARION hampton
i think he can be a volume back for years.
TO come i think he's a guy who can take
volume but be a pretty nice weapon in the receiving.
Game too so GOOD player.

Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
Kp Of the titans at. THIRTY five i was.

Speaker 11 (01:04:25):
Torn between our three top edges that we, had LEFT
but i ended up Going with nick scorson edge Rusher
from TEXAS AND m.

Speaker 10 (01:04:36):
I like that pick, a, Lot HONESTLY and I THINK
i I smar stewart has not gone off the board
yet to my to, my KNOWLEDGE but i think the
reason there's a reason. For, SURE yeah i GET the
i get the arguments, against IT and I Think nick
gordon he's one of those guys who if you're going
for a getting pass, rush production. He's got he's six,
foot three two SIXTY and i always like to go

(01:04:56):
back To the purdue TAPE because i think he was
used a little bit, Better there but the f ness at,
HIS size, i mean this is a six, foot three
two sixty pound guy who's levying spin moves and he's
got really good technique on those two with, the footwork
stabbing the ice pick to, finish off and, you know
he's got pretty good power ability to pretty good. Run
defense so a really. Solid player. YOU know i think
between Him And, Shamar stewart stewart easily is the. Higher

(01:05:18):
ceiling but if you are going for, proven utility especially
as a, PASS rusher i think, the finesse the, hand
usage the, Play strength Nick s gordon clears in all.

Speaker 1 (01:05:26):
Those areas, oh Sorry the jaguars at, THIRTY six i muted.
MY microphone i was just.

Speaker 9 (01:05:38):
Making sure there's gonna be a lot of buck guys
that hear their name called on. Day two so we'll
keep that going with the guy that We had First
Team all American At Sporting News. Donovan jackson we're going
to put him on the interior Line.

Speaker 10 (01:05:52):
For jacksonville there. WE go i like that pick, a
lot and he's a guy that could play tackle on
a pinch if you need. HIM to i actually liked
his tackle tape. A lot he would probably stick him
at guard long TERM if i had to, prefer one
just because he's a little stiff in the, bin section
being six four. Three twenty that's gonna happen with. That
build but, he's measured he's. Well leveraged he can. Play
square he's got really, violent hands really good proportional length for,

(01:06:14):
his size and he's athletic enough he can be a
road grader in the run game who can. Generate power
but then as a pass. Protector too he'll, play square
he can drop, the anchor he's proactive with, his hands
all the things that. You want, really smart heady player
with the. Physical traits and, you know For, the Jaguars Protecting,
trevor lawrence making. Them comfortable the offensive line has been
a problem for a few years now where they just

(01:06:35):
haven't gotten. A right i think with this pick you
can work toward getting.

Speaker 2 (01:06:39):
It right.

Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
We got a thirty seven In. The raiders, all right
we're gonna go back To.

Speaker 5 (01:06:46):
Back, Buckeyes here we're GONNA.

Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
Go.

Speaker 5 (01:06:47):
Tylerk williams raiders need some interior defensive.

Speaker 10 (01:06:51):
Line hope so there, We go there. We go that's
an a, for, Me Man. TYLER williams i like him, a.
LOT man I think i know there's some talk about
the pass. Rushing utility look at the explosiveness and leverage
the pad level that he. Plays with, YOU know i
think he's really good at generating power from his. Lower
body and he's a pretty energetic mover for his, size
too with the stride frequencies where he can build up speed,

(01:07:11):
in contact he, Can stunt he's got enough ankle flexibility
for his size to, you know kind of manipulate alignments and.
Rushing paths so a really fun player within. That mold
but then he's a slab of rock and run. Defense too.
YOU know i think he's a guy who can just,
you know slab down blocks and hold the line and
seal off gaps. From runners so really. Solid player get
Him Alongside, CHRISTIAN wilkins i think that's a really really strong.

(01:07:32):
Material duo.

Speaker 1 (01:07:34):
We had a thirty eight In.

Speaker 6 (01:07:35):
The, Patriots yeah i'm gonna Have the Patriots Taking.

Speaker 10 (01:07:39):
TREY amos I believe amos was taken By the ravens
in Round.

Speaker 11 (01:07:45):
Is, Multimore harris you Don't Mean Trey, harsh, sure yeah
you're positive you Cant has he's right there you grab you.

Speaker 1 (01:07:58):
Has been. Very happy. Thank You Make.

Speaker 10 (01:08:02):
So trey harris is. The, Pick, Okay Yes trey harris is. The, pick, yes,
Okay Okay trey harris is. THE pick I Like trey harris.
A lot he's he's a, guy who, you know six
foot two. Two five you see the highlights at the
catch point with the body control and the, acrobatic ability and,
you think, you know on, the surface it would be
easy for someone to just build him a contested. Catch
GUY but i actually like his route running upside. A

(01:08:23):
lot i think he's proven that he can use tempo to,
manipulate dbs both in, multiple ranges whether it's the intermediate
on comebacks or just on, slamt routes using that tempo
that targeted physicality to apply his. Way free and then
he's got really, good hands good decent rack. Ability TOO
so i think he's one of the few receivers in
this class that profiles decently well AS an. X receiver

(01:08:43):
a lot of these guys are kind. OF dependent i
think he can be YOUR ex i think he can
be a solid Target For drake MAY and i think
he can hit the ground running. Pretty early, all right
we are To.

Speaker 1 (01:08:53):
The bears at thirty.

Speaker 5 (01:08:54):
Nine yep And, The bears i'm going to continue on
the defensive line trend. For them I'm Gonna. Derek harmon
they just need some more big bodies up.

Speaker 10 (01:09:03):
That middle this is a great value, pick MAN because
i would Have Considered derek harmon at quite a few
spots in round one and then now here he is in.
Round two so love. The value he's a fun player
because there are some flashes of him. Two GAPPING like,
i say he's definitely not super consistent with it because
he plays kind, of tall but he is really strong
at the point, of attack strong as a OX and
i think he'll be a phenomenal one gaper right off

(01:09:24):
the bat at, three tech but he can play some
one tech and two five need him two and then
as a. PASS rusher i mean he had five and a.
Half sacks. Eleven tacks we lost the most pressures by
any interior a lignment this. Past year so he gets after,
it hot, motor guy, violent hands and, he's still, you
know working his way up with the. Refinement too so
if he's already, THIS good i think that the sky
is the limit. For him he's a little stiff in

(01:09:45):
the hips in the, mid section so that's gonna impact
his upside as a stunter and working. Across alignments but
if you need someone to just rush downhill and penetrate
and then hold the line of, run defense he's. Your guy.

Speaker 1 (01:09:58):
We got at number forty In. THE saint.

Speaker 11 (01:10:01):
I say this half at a peer shot and HALF
because i don't want to Pull a Brandon. Or david
please tell Me That mikel williams is still on.

Speaker 10 (01:10:10):
THE board i think he is still on. The Board Mike,
kel williams come. On down oh, my, god goodness. That's
crazy that's another ONE that i don't have a ton
of words for MAN because i would have taken him.
ROUND one i love. THE player i understand that there's
some issues with the, pass rushing the proven pass. Rush

(01:10:31):
utility here's the Thing Between mikel Williams And. SHAMAR stewart
I Think shamar stewart's, Ceiling ultimately like if we're just
talking ultimate ceiling is higher because he's a little bit,
more explosive a little, bit twitchier, you know and a
little bit longer and things. Like THAT but i think
if you want a better blend of proven utility in,
CERTAIN phases I Think mikel williams is a much higher
FLOOR because i think he's more disciplined in. RUN defense

(01:10:53):
i think he's stronger as an edge setter with, his
LEVERAGE and i think as a, pass rusher, you, know
well he's not super per effishent as a one on
one winner in. That phase he is a guy that
you can use on contain or as, a stunter, you
know moving across. The linements he's really good at aligning
his hips to. Drive power, you know he's pretty flexible
in the. MID section i think that really helps his.

(01:11:13):
Profile overall so big Fan Of. MIKEL williams i think
it gives you a similar high upside proposition while also
being a high floor player in the areas that make
him not, a liability, you know, run, defence contain things like.
That STUNTING so i think a really fun. PICK here
i like it.

Speaker 1 (01:11:29):
A lot he gets to Learn From.

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
CAM jans i know.

Speaker 10 (01:11:33):
That too that's a, nice. BONUS man i can't Lie.

Speaker 1 (01:11:38):
The bears at. Forty, One Yep so i'm.

Speaker 5 (01:11:41):
Gonna go so this is a little bit of a
luxury pick For the bears having two second round PICKS
this I so i'm gonna go with the GUY who,
i think if he had been healthy, last year would
have been a first, Round Pick, benjamin morrison Cornerback From.

Speaker 1 (01:11:54):
Notre dame this is.

Speaker 10 (01:11:56):
A unique PICK because i Believe the bears Have If,
kyler gordon They Have, tyreek stevenson And then i'm blanking
on the Third Corner.

Speaker 5 (01:12:04):
Jalen Johnson.

Speaker 10 (01:12:05):
Jalen, johnson Yes so i'm not A.

Speaker 5 (01:12:07):
Huge, Stevenson guy so maybe That's why, I'M like i
don't see him kind of being pushed out of. The
rotation so maybe that's just some Some bias I'VE never
i wasn't a huge him. COMING out i haven't been
a huge fan of him on.

Speaker 10 (01:12:20):
The, field YEAH and, I believe i believe he had
some good moments as, a rookie but it was a
little more volatile on. YOU two i haven't been keeping
up with that as much as college TAPE but i
liked him, coming OUT but I could i, can concede
like this is the time going into his third year
where you could be drafting for the future if you.
Wanted TO and I Think benjamin morrison he's a gnat in. Man.
COVERAGE man, I mean i fell in love with his

(01:12:42):
tape he was. A freshman he's, so quick he's. So
twitchy he's like a water, bug man like, you remember
like going camping seeing those water bugs just kind of.
Glitching around he's a glitch. Out. There man he's, so
quick and, YOU know i think that that's a really
really good foundation for. Man coverage and he'll get in.
Your grill, you know he's not shy about, being fit
physical and. Suffocating guys and he can make plays with the.

(01:13:03):
Catchpoint two so if he can, stay healthy he'll be
good and you, COULD ultimately, i know they have a
long some long. Term uncertainty it's Safety With jakwan Brisker And.
Kevin byern if you, wanted to you could Try Rotating
tyreek stevens in safety with the length that he has
and the explosion And Let benjamin morrison play. A corner,
I mean i think there's some ways you can move it,
around right you gotta. Be flexible but, YOU know i

(01:13:23):
do think there's some. Potential there But, the bears you,
could go, you know running, back here you could go
tight end if you. Wanted to you could go off as.
A Tackle But, benjamin morrison if, he's healthy, YOU know,
i agree he's a fringe first, round talent.

Speaker 1 (01:13:36):
ALL right i Have the jets at, forty Two and
i'm GONNA. Take tj sanders Out Of.

Speaker 10 (01:13:41):
South, CAROLINA okay i actually like this pick a, lot
Man and i'm gonna be finalizing my big board either
tomorrow or the. Next DAY so i don't know where
he's gonna fall. For ME but i feel like this
has kind of been nagging me in my MIND that
i might be too low ON. T. J sanders i
have him As a day, two player BUT maybe i
should be. EVEN higher i think top fifty is definitely

(01:14:03):
viable for him because he's very explosive up. The snap.
HE'S agile i think he's a little stiff in the
mid section sometimes where a lateral transition where will drag
his pads a little too high and then he could
be flushed out. Of REPS so i wanted to keep
improving that. Pad level but overall he's a tree stump and.
Run defense he's really really stout at the point of
attack with that length in that, compact mass and then

(01:14:23):
he's got a really nice power profile as a pass.
Rusher too so a very very fun player who again
has that combination of high floor and high ceiling that you're.
Looking for.

Speaker 5 (01:14:33):
The forty nine ers are forty, three Yep SO niners
i think needs some more. Secondary help, you know they
Lost tou funga and, free Agency so i'm Gonna Go Kevin.
Winston Jr From penn state for them.

Speaker 10 (01:14:47):
At, Safety, OKAY okay I Mean Kevin winston junior is
really good upside gamble in. THIS class i mean he's
already one of the best run SUPPORT safeties i think in.
The group and then he also has very visible pass
pass coverage Upside like he's pretty fluid for. HIS size
i think managing route relationships is still work, in progress
but he does have enough fluidity where he can, you

(01:15:08):
know match and carry and pass off routes and do
things like that and, then close click and close. In
pursuit so a fun player for me with the forty
NINE ers i know They've Got. GYRE brown i know
they Also Added, malik MUSTAFA who i liked a lot last,
Cycle TOO so i don't think it's the biggest. Need
here but at the, SAME time i don't think there's
a player who has the Upside That kevin winston has

(01:15:29):
in this safety class at. THIS point i think if
you're gonna gamble on upside in one or, two years
you could be looking At A pro bowl talent, for
sure because HE'S definitely i think the arrow is really
pointing out. For him and already in run support you
you know you're getting a. Certified gamer.

Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
Let's Go. To, Dallas.

Speaker 6 (01:15:47):
Already dallas cowboys are going To take let me check
this list one. More, time xavier what safety out of
eard your name should?

Speaker 1 (01:15:54):
Still be he is.

Speaker 10 (01:15:55):
Still, there yep. You're good. You're Good And xavier wants
is a really again a high.

Speaker 2 (01:16:02):
Floor.

Speaker 10 (01:16:03):
Player right he's not as explosive or as fast as
some of these. Other guys he's not as, long either
but he just he just plays the. RIGHT way, I
mean i love watching his tape because he's more often
than not ninety percent of time he's in the. RIGHT
spot I think he's pretty fluid for, his size being
over two hundred AND then i mean the interception total speak.
For themselves like he's really good at processing, the field
anticipating routes and breaking and just being in the. Right

(01:16:26):
spot and then in run, support too he can. Come
downhill he's a really. Good tackler, you know he's he's
a fearless player in. All PHASES and i think even
though he's not an, ELITE athlete i think he has enough,
coverage mobility like we talked About With malchi, starks right
being able to pedal and weave and transition without losing speed.
Or hitching he definitely has that in spite of the.
LACKING speed i think HIS, football iq his, playmaking ability,

(01:16:49):
his physicality those things will make him a really. Solid
BRO and i Think for dallas, in particular having that
kind of safety blanket on the, back end that could.
Be Fun and dallas they picked The Head. Will johnson
now they got exaber wants that can be a. Lockdown.
SECONDARY man, i like, you know you gotta keep beefing
up the, defensive LINE but i love what you're building
with the. Secondary there.

Speaker 1 (01:17:10):
We're Going, To, Indy.

Speaker 8 (01:17:13):
Yeah we're gonna go ahead And Take.

Speaker 1 (01:17:14):
Shamar stewart we've talked about.

Speaker 8 (01:17:16):
Him enough colts ranked near the bottom of the LEAGUE
in uh in, pass rush and it just seems obvious
first round talent. Sitting there you gotta.

Speaker 1 (01:17:24):
Take, him.

Speaker 10 (01:17:27):
Yeah And Jamar, stewart man he's been probably the most
polarizing player in the, entire CLASS and i think this is,
a good great value to. Take, HIM like i would
still take a gamble on him at some point in round,
One TWO like i do think the talent is that
high where if you can get him in the right
in the, right ecosystem you can start to clean. THAT
upside i will say the floor is very low. FOR
him i don't think that's too. FAR fetched i think,

(01:17:48):
you know in, run defense, the discipline the gap discipline
can be really streaky. At times and then as a,
pass rusher you know he's got good reps here, and
there but overall doesn't really have much of. A plan
and then his upper audiences lower body can be disjointed,
a lot which really hurts his synergy and his overall
coordination and can flush him out. Pretty early so a
lot you've got a lot of work, to do but

(01:18:09):
you also have a lot to work with the WAY
that i like to, describe it, you know you're you're
gonna get a lot of imperfect reps early on from
a player with the perfect. DEVELOPMENTAL profile, i mean he's,
got explosiveness he's got, pursuit speed he's, got, length, mass bend,
you know all of those things that you need Is
just kenny put. It together at the end of, the
day the motor is, There TOO so, i think, you
know getting in that room where he won't be relied

(01:18:30):
upon to, you know be a top producer. Right away they've,
Got lats they've got, you know a few other guys
quick he pay, as well so they they've got enough
where he won't be too. Too pressured but you can
also get them. Situational reps, All.

Speaker 1 (01:18:44):
Right bill bender back with us With. The falcons tough
call here because they need help on the interior. Both
SIDES so.

Speaker 9 (01:18:55):
I was going To Take shamar turner and make this
back to Ball back Shamar's but i'm going to go
With Center jared Wilson from georgia close to home pick,
for Them and i've seen him maybe and can shed
some light ON this a little bit of a, late
riser it.

Speaker 10 (01:19:11):
Looks, Like Yeah jared wilson is kind of a. UNIQUE
player i think, for me. THE athleticism i think the
physical profile is, really strong with him being six foot three,
three ten really pretty good proportional length to top. Flight,
athlete again he can get out in space, pretty rangy
and he's explosive. Covering gaps and for his, age too

(01:19:32):
he's a, younger GUY but i do think he has
pretty good. Stunt, awareness again he can play square as a. Pass,
PROTECTOR overall i think my biggest qualm with his game
some some things are a little SLOWER than i, would
like mainly his. Foot motion, you know he's a really
explosive athlete when he's, you know getting out, in space
but when he's redirecting and, matching laterally he can be
a little, bit plotting a little, bit LUMBERING and i

(01:19:54):
think that can leave him late on transitions at times
guys can get an edge on. Him laterally, BUT overall
i think you know a guy who has that kind
of upside and is still pretty young, AT center i
think that's a, great investment and especially After Losing, drew
dolmond getting a trades rich guy that can that can
go a, long way.

Speaker 1 (01:20:11):
ALL right i Have the cardinals at, forty Seven and
i'm gonna try not to butcher, this name but they
are gonna take The Tackle ariante ezri Out.

Speaker 7 (01:20:19):
Of.

Speaker 10 (01:20:19):
Minnesota arianser there, we go there we got you, Were close. You're,
close uh. He's definitely here's the thing With, the, dolphins
man They Got calvin banks in, round one and now
They're Getting. Ariant ersery, oh, wait, No commonly i'm reading. That,
Wrong cardinals, my bad.

Speaker 2 (01:20:35):
My.

Speaker 10 (01:20:35):
Bad uh Reset the cardinal is GETTING ariont i like that.
FOR sure i think They Got. PARIS johnson i think
they Re Signed, joanah williams but his health is kind
of a. Question mark So getting, er three you could
play him a, right tackle or you could shift him inside.
THE guard I think ersrie translates better at guard, long
term just because he doesn't quite have elite. Proportional lengths
he can play a little tall sometimes and kind of

(01:20:57):
out of control later. IN reps i think managing leverage
and pad level can be kind of streaky. For him but.
He's explosive he's, a maler a. Road grader, you know
he will bury you in the dirt if you give
him a, leverage advantage and he's got the power to
win in the, run game but then also anchor strength
in the, past game so you can play with right tackle.
OR guard i think you can experiment with him a.
Little bit but he's got the physical tools to mold

(01:21:19):
and the temperament which is important.

Speaker 1 (01:21:24):
Now To the dolphins are Forty.

Speaker 10 (01:21:25):
Eight, dolphins yeah there.

Speaker 11 (01:21:26):
WE go i love this kid's tape. So much Give
Me carson schwarringer THE. LINEBACKER cla i love watching this guy.

Speaker 10 (01:21:35):
SO much i love, this, VALUE man i love. THIS
value i was trying to come up with a comp,
for HIM and i. WANTED to i felt irresponsible with
some of the COMPS that i was that were entering.
My mind he's a fringe first round player. FOR me
i love the just the two phase. ABILITY man i
mean he will knife downhill and. Run support he will
see her through gaps and, make tackles but then in coverage.

(01:21:56):
AS well i think his HIP leverage iq is. Hit fluiddity,
you know his to read and respond is. Really strong
and he's got some pass, rushing too where he can
blitz THROUGH the a gap and bend around blocks and.
Make tackles so he's, you know as rangey of a
playmaker as, they come but really A high iq instinctive player.
As WELL so i think the ONE thing i want
to see him play a little more physical. Against blocks
there are times where sometimes he'll, you know take rather,

(01:22:18):
than give and that could be an issue sometimes when
you're trying to, you know enforce and. Play positioning but
he's an amazing PLAYER my lb three, and honestly like
if you had him over, you know some of the,
OTHER guys. I wouldn't i think there's an arguments to.
Be made he's a very, strong player, very strong two,
faced player and the upside is really. Really strong so
getting him In that, DOLPHINS room i think They Have

(01:22:39):
jordan brooks and then aside, FROM that i don't know
what else. THEY have i think they signed. SOMEONE else
i can't remember all. The time, that's it, Exactly exactly
so getting that second level guy, CHOSEN gar, i mean
he's he's going to be a really. Good pro that's
one THING that i can say with pretty pretty good.

Speaker 1 (01:22:55):
Confidence there, all right we are at pick number, forty
nine moving round, along here wrapping up around too my
apologies that Would be brandon With.

Speaker 6 (01:23:08):
The, Bengals yeah, I'm Sorry bradon swinton EDGE and i
issue A Mutants.

Speaker 10 (01:23:15):
BRANDON swinson i love that. Pick man he's actually a
top fifty guy. FOR me i know he's not there for,
every board but he's six foot three two fifty five
thirty three, inch, arms explosive, has bend has pretty good
lateral agility, breaking offset and then capitalize on those advantages
the speed. To powers they're pretty sturdy and run. DEFENSE
too i know he's a one, year wonder but watching,

(01:23:35):
The tape i'm willing to bet that the way that
he produced. Is translatable so big fan of the pick.

Speaker 1 (01:23:41):
On to pick fifty And. The seahawks.

Speaker 4 (01:23:47):
Can you guys?

Speaker 2 (01:23:48):
Hear? Me, yeah, OKAY sorry i haven't.

Speaker 3 (01:23:51):
Taken difficulties i'm flying blind because my laptop decided to,
lose CONNECTION so.

Speaker 2 (01:23:58):
I just wanted to double check to MAKE sure i
don't make this error.

Speaker 3 (01:24:01):
A game i'm Pretty sure i'm going to this is
a this is a this is a project pick because
he's coming off.

Speaker 4 (01:24:09):
The entry But Is isaiah bond?

Speaker 10 (01:24:11):
Still Available isaiah bond is, Still, available.

Speaker 2 (01:24:14):
Yes and we are going to take the deep ball.

Speaker 10 (01:24:16):
Through, it okay he's a very. Tricky, one obviously the
sexual assault allegations are going, Right now he's, denied WRONGDOING
so i don't KNOW if nfl teams are going to,
pick him are gonna are gonna touch him right now at,
this point and got to let that situation. Play out on,
the field he is. VERY dynamic, i think, you know,
the explosiveness, the SPEED and i think there were times

(01:24:37):
Where the, texas offense, you know could have showcases his
skills a little. Bit better sometimes they use him as,
a decoy but you can see the, route running building blocks,
are there, the explosion, the speed, the twitch AND then
i do think he plays bigger than his size as
a catcher, As well so the upside.

Speaker 1 (01:24:52):
Is all the.

Speaker 10 (01:24:53):
Way There right the character evaluation is going to be
pretty crucial in, his CASE and i think if you're
if you're looking for alternatives here for that mold, Of
Receiver kyle Williams From, Washington State jalen Knowle From iowa
state or TWO that i would definitely. Go With But
isaiah bond, the talent there's no. Disputing that the off
field stuff is something that each team's gonna have to
weigh on, draft day and ultimately he could slide to. Day,

(01:25:14):
three man IT'S it's i don't know how they're going to.
Do that it's pretty trepidacious. Right now but as, a
talent there's no, denying it even going back to His,
Days alabama like he's got The goods.

Speaker 1 (01:25:25):
Brandon at. Fifty ONE and i love the apologies that
we're getting now for the fact that We Forgot isaiah
bond had the sexual. Assault ALLEGATIONS but i mean some
team is going to take, That. Gamble brandon You're the
broncos at.

Speaker 6 (01:25:39):
Fifty, ONE yeah i Got the bronco's Taking The Quinn
seawn jenkins running back out.

Speaker 10 (01:25:44):
Of, The, OKAY Okay i i'm a fan. OF him,
I honestly i've seen some. FANTASY people. I know film
versus analytics is always. THE debate i like to think
a marriage of the two is the, best thing, You,
know like you can't disregard. The analytics they definitely tell
you valuable and for ME and i know there's some
analytical Measures where judkins isn't, super favorable, Uh GRADED but

(01:26:04):
i also know that on, THE film i don't think
his vision. IS elite i don't think his creative instincts
are are. High end he's definitely a guy who's more
repress and, run runner, you know like he's not going to,
you know create for himself, too much but he can
see a gap and he can. Knife through my analogy
for him is he's kind of an explosive. Carving knife
like he he has, really good supercharged explosiveness and acceleration with,

(01:26:26):
those short, fast strides and then he's a physical finisher
like six foot Two twenty he is going to, you
know win. Past contact he's going to drag guys to.
Finish RUNS and i do think there's some additional room
for him to keep developing as a three. Down threat
but as that explosive carving knife is a voguing back on,
EARLY downs i think he can be the engine for
your offense.

Speaker 1 (01:26:46):
For sure pick number fifty two And The seattle, Seahawks.

Speaker 4 (01:26:50):
Again, david shoot can you guys?

Speaker 2 (01:27:02):
Hear me we? Got?

Speaker 3 (01:27:03):
You, Yeah sorry i'm my notes are all over the
place on My pne so please bear, with, me gentlemen
in any other. RESPECTIVE listeners i promise we are not
used with a bad neither. Of MINE so i am
going to go with a PICK that I hope i
can't see if he's still not if he's, not Taken
but i'm praying.

Speaker 2 (01:27:21):
He's NOT T, j sanders is he? Still available he.

Speaker 10 (01:27:26):
Was, taken unfortunately.

Speaker 3 (01:27:28):
Golly, DAY uh, i apologize my laptop is crapping out.

Speaker 10 (01:27:33):
On me.

Speaker 4 (01:27:34):
Let's see.

Speaker 7 (01:27:36):
You do.

Speaker 4 (01:27:38):
Convince.

Speaker 2 (01:27:38):
MIND yourself i need TO get i need to thing
to figure something out over here to make this work.

Speaker 11 (01:27:43):
Real Quick, in uh do you have a preference Among
the alabama running Backs between Jenkins And, Everson oh, I'LL.

Speaker 10 (01:27:51):
Hi i stay. Running back, to, ME yeah I. PREFER
henderson i think he's the more complete three DOWN player i.
REALLY love I think junkins is definitely a little bit
bigger and would hold up better in. Contact Situations, but henderson,
to me the more, versatile receiver the better, pass blocker
which that alone isn't a, deciding factor but he's probably
the best pass blocking running back in. The CLASS so

(01:28:11):
I know i can count on him on third downs and,
you know keep him. Out there BUT then i think
his vision is. REALLY good i think, he's explosive he
gets up field, really quickly he's got the speed to
be a home, run threat and he's, you know five
to ten over two, hundred pounds so he's pretty low to,
the ground decent. CONTACT balance, i think, You know judkins
is definitely the volume back profile is more appealing, with
HIM but I think henderson will be a better.

Speaker 2 (01:28:32):
Pro Ultimately, all RIGHT did I Miss jalen reid?

Speaker 10 (01:28:38):
Being Selected jalen Reid The penn. State, safety yes he
has not been, Selected yet.

Speaker 2 (01:28:45):
Thank, god okay let's Go with let's go, with him. Slid,
Fighters okay. I'm sorry, i'm sorry like my whole all
my notes are going getting.

Speaker 4 (01:28:55):
Up Being my. Google, docs no.

Speaker 2 (01:28:57):
You're good.

Speaker 8 (01:28:57):
You're.

Speaker 10 (01:28:57):
Good Yeah jalen reid is an interesting at. THIS point i.
Like him he's probably more of A fringe, Day two
day three guy For me, Andrew MCCUBA but i understand
mccouba is kind of a, size outlier being under one
hundred and, ninety pounds so it's kind of kind of
tricky to go. With him he's one of my favorite
football players and in the. Entire Class But, jalen reid,
you know having the strong frame that, he does the

(01:29:18):
relative fluidity that, HE does i think he's a pretty
solid all round safety with a particular knack for, you
know being pretty solid sturdy and run support, Dependable there
so it would be a little early. For ME and
i Think the Seahawks Have julian Love And kobe bryant
at safety, as well so maybe go different. Direction Here
But jalen reid is a really solid football PLAYER who
i think in particular profile as well in the, support

(01:29:38):
phase that's probably where he's gonna make. His money that's
probably where he's going to be a safety blanket for
defenses on those. Early DOWNS so i like the player a,
little EARLY but i do think he can have a
Role the buccaneers at.

Speaker 1 (01:29:51):
Fifty, three YEAH.

Speaker 8 (01:29:53):
So i Think the buccaneers run game kind of emerged
Right With bucky, irving throughout especially the second half of.
The year if we're going to give him some out
on the inside and we're gonna take a Guard From Arizona.

Speaker 10 (01:30:05):
Jonah jonah, Seven, IYAH okay i like, the pick, HANG
on I gotta i, don't KNOW if. I Know the
Buccaneers Of cody mauk at guard and then who else.
They have They Got, Ben, brettison okay so they Did Resign,
ben BREDISON but i think that might just be like

(01:30:26):
a spot. Starter Contract So jodah savainaya would definitely upgrade
the floor in the ceiling for. That unit he played
right tackle. AND guard i think he projects better at,
guard personally and he's actually said he wants to, play
there so you're you're following him in. At guard he's
a high. Energy mover he kind of reminds Me Of
matthew bergeron a, little bit who came Out from syracuse
and then shifted to guard With The. Atlanta falcons high

(01:30:48):
energy athlete with that, frame density with that, power profile the, road,
rating athleticism and then enough, you know natural leverage to
play in pass protection and, you know keep guys within
his frame and, you know keep a low center. Of
GRAVITY so SAVII and i is one of my favorite
players in that day two range because of the upside,
HE provides i think For the, buccaneers particular having an
Interior Of, Cody Mack graham Barton and Sava and aya

(01:31:10):
like And Then tristan wurfs. As well that's a freakish offensive.
LINE man, i mean that's so, much athleticism almost too
much you can.

Speaker 1 (01:31:16):
Tend with we're a pick fifty four in the packers
tend to go and then we're out, of here.

Speaker 2 (01:31:24):
All, Right bryce i'll rip my head, off HERE which
i am a. Artist man we're gonna go with The Interior.
DARIUS alexander.

Speaker 4 (01:31:34):
I.

Speaker 10 (01:31:34):
LIKE it i like it, a. LOT actually i think
for this value where he's at and where they're, PICKING
him i think it's a. Great pick and he's going
to be an older rookie twenty five, years OLD but
i think he can have an impact pretty early on
being six foot three over three hundred and thirty four.
In charms the power profile is probably the most appealing
Thing With. DARIUS alexander, i mean he can reset the
line really quickly in. Run defense a little volatile with,

(01:31:56):
his assignments but he's a guy who can make contact
and and, you know disrupt blocks and, LIMIT displacement i
think is the WAY that i would. Word it and
then as a, pass rusher he's really good again at
caving in. Interior blocks and then he's got some agility
and he can Implement some euro steps like the upper.
Lower synergy he's got some understanding of how to. Utilize
that so a really fun player in the two. Phase

(01:32:19):
FRAMEWORK and i think even though he's a twenty five year,
old rookie the prime might be a. Little shorter he
should be able to have an impact early on and
develop into A good.

Speaker 1 (01:32:26):
Nfl Player the chargers at fifty five Back To.

Speaker 7 (01:32:30):
Matt, miller okay they can, be Losing Maybe khalil, mack
leaving so we're going to take someone all on the.
Defensive line we're Gonna Take Omar norman Lot from tennessee.

Speaker 2 (01:32:42):
THE tackle.

Speaker 4 (01:32:44):
I.

Speaker 10 (01:32:45):
LIKE it i. Like IT The la chargers definitely have
a need a. Defensive. Line Now khalil mack is An
Edge Omar norman lot six two two ninety thirty, four
charms so he'll probably file in more at that three.
Tech RANGE but i think that's a perfect pick for
them because their interior line is really sparse. Right now
they don't have they almost. HAVE nothing i think They
Got Scott matt Clock Of tito Abania. At no sackle

(01:33:06):
and then aside, from that THEY'RE really i think They
Signed tier tart, too knows, BUT yeah I Think Omar
noman lot, three tech who can rush. The passer, you
know he's got that, power profile that, natural leverage and
he's really good at prying around blocks and bending and
finishing plays with. THAT length, i mean he's a. Pursuit
threat he can make the. Quarterback uncomfortable he can force,
you know he can bat down passes and force. Fumbles

(01:33:29):
too so a really nice disruptive threat who's still kind
of coming into.

Speaker 1 (01:33:32):
His Own phil bender fifty six With. The bills a lot. Of,
bees yeah well go With.

Speaker 9 (01:33:40):
The Bills the bills will take aari A. LAST thomas
i just had it. Up, HERE yeah i didn't want
to mess. That up As a Thomas Cornerback. FLORIDA state
i know he played Well In, florida state didn't play well,
this year but he a nice corner fills a little
bit of a need. FOR them i feel like pick
In the bills every picks like a little bit of a.

(01:34:03):
Luxury pick so we'll.

Speaker 10 (01:34:04):
Go. There, yeah yeah their roster is pretty well off,
right now so it's kind of tough to pick. To
THEM and i know They Signed, dane jackson they brought
him back and he's a decent starter. For YOU but
i Agree As ariah thomas kind of improves the ceiling
for YOU and i like him. A lot i know
there's kind of some talk about the forty yard dashtime
and the speed and whether that's going to be, an
ISSUE but i think he has everything that needs to

(01:34:26):
succeed in spite of that being six foot two with
over thirty two, inch arms with the quickness and the
fluidity that he has for, HIS size i think he
can counter. Rap that he kind of reminds me from
an evaluative Standpoint Of martin emerson junior when he came
Out From, mississippi State and emerson was a really good
player his first couple of Years. AT cleveland i know
this past year was a little, more VOLATILE but i

(01:34:46):
think when you talk about the, pressman savant the guy
who can dictate releases at the line and then contest,
THE catchpoint i Think As ariah thomas really fits the.
Bill there he's actually a top thirty two player, for
Me so i'm a big fan of what he has
to offer.

Speaker 1 (01:35:00):
To the panthers at. FIFTY seven.

Speaker 11 (01:35:03):
I Too Love azriah thomas and that was going to be. My,
Pick thanks bill delayed me a lot, of bit but.
That's fine Let's Get bryce young the Toy Uh jalen
royals wide Receiver From.

Speaker 10 (01:35:14):
Utah state love this. Guy too oh, my, goodness man
He that's you're winning me over with these second round.
FIX man i. Can't Lie jalen royals is actually my wide,
receiver FIVE so i might be higher on him than,
most people but he gives Me Some pierre. GARSON vibes
i think we talked about the, size profile but then also,
the athleticism, the explosiveness the high energy athleticism to bend.

(01:35:36):
As well, YOU know i think people get scared off
by this type, of receiver the six, foot two ten.
Pound guy they're worried that they're just kind of a schemed,
rat guy like A Mal chai. Corley Type But jalen
royals can. Run routes he can, run ROUTES and i
think it's twenty twenty. Three tape there were some pretty
promising reps against press, coverage too, you know, diamond releases
split releases to offset and the. EXPLODE vertical i think

(01:35:57):
he's got enough catching instincts at the point the rack.
A build. HE'S strong i think it can be a
really SOLID movement z wide receiver two, for YOU and
i think especially but For the panthers. As well, you
know he'll probably be relied upon more as that, central
THREAT but i think he can. Do it i'm a
big fan Of J. ON royals i think he'll be
a very solid bro.

Speaker 1 (01:36:14):
To the texans at. Fifty eight oh THAT'S what i.

Speaker 5 (01:36:17):
Was taking royals is my favorite receiver in. THIS class
i love him.

Speaker 1 (01:36:21):
So much.

Speaker 5 (01:36:23):
Dang, it Okay the texans they still do need wide
receiver death, you Know No, tank dell probably after. His
injury so let's go a guy who's been climbing up
some Some boards i've, Seen Recently. Jack beck people seem
to be really really liking what he's been on the on,
the tape the tape have been, Telling.

Speaker 10 (01:36:44):
Me yeah He's a he's a unique player in that
he's not like. Overly explosive he's not super, fast either
but he's really really quick and sudden first size, and fluid, you.

Speaker 5 (01:36:55):
Know Kind, of maconki RIGHT if i, Remember correctly like
maybe maybe a.

Speaker 10 (01:36:59):
LITTLE bit i Think my conky is more dynamic, overall
FASTER but I think beck is kind of he's kind
of that, utility receiver, you know where he's not the,
fastest guy but he's going to. Run routes he's gonna
be able, to separate and he's gonna be able to make.
Catches too. YOU know i think he has a very
low drop rate this, past year so, you know kind
of a. RELIABLE player I can't i don't have a
comp for him off the top of, my head but

(01:37:21):
if you think of A movement z the guy who has,
play strength has good, separation ability isn't going to be
that over that over arching wide, receiver one but can
be a really good target funnel. FOR you i think
he Fits that bill which for alongside, An ego collins
is kind of the Perfect Thing.

Speaker 1 (01:37:38):
Matt miller And the ravens of.

Speaker 7 (01:37:39):
Fifty, nine okay we're going to take an edge of
Rusher From Oregon.

Speaker 1 (01:37:44):
Jordan birch.

Speaker 10 (01:37:48):
That's a. Great, Pick Actually jordan birch is kind of
a freak athlete six four. TWO eighty i think he
gets thirty three shorms and he is kind of a
guy who looks twenty pounds lighter on film when he's
rushed in. THE passer, i mean he's really flexible for,
his size but again he moves with, really urgent fast
strides and, he can, you know reduce the surface. Area
enough but then he's also got a really awesome power

(01:38:09):
elements to his, game too so you know he can
be a little out of control. AT times, i think,
you know improving the discipline angle discipline is still a
thing that he. Can improve but, you know he can
hold up and run defense because of. His size he's
got some alignment, versatility too, you know rushing from five
tech and four eye as well as. Seven tech but
a versatile player with. Additional UPSIDE and i think already,

(01:38:30):
you know kind of a high floor in certain areas
because he's built to win. Right now, you know he's
GOT the nfl. Ready FRAME so i like. TO pick
i think he fits what they like, to DO and
i think there's some untapped potential that you Can on earth.

Speaker 1 (01:38:42):
Pick, Number Sixty bill Bender.

Speaker 10 (01:38:44):
And.

Speaker 9 (01:38:44):
ALLIONS yeah i don't know if they're allowed to do
this Given The Ohio state, michigan RIVALRY but i. HAVE
him i Live, in pickerington by, the WAY so i
think this would be a good spot. FOR me i
Haven't Taken Jack. SAWYER rusher i know he was in
the middle of the flag debacle At The Ohio state.

(01:39:05):
Michigan game but, you know the last Time the lions
took a guy like Him From, ohio state it worked
out Fine With, Chris spielman so maybe he can be
that kind of heart and soul guy on.

Speaker 10 (01:39:16):
This, defense yeah, YOU know i think a lot of
football guys are gonna like him a lot because the motor.
Is there, you know he's an, ultimate COMPETITOR and i
think he really came on down the stretch as a.
PASS rusher i think he was starting to put. IT
together i PERSONALLY. Like jt tuomodou a little bit more as.
A prospect i think he's a little bit, more explosive.
More Powerful jack sawyer, to me, YOU know i don't
know if the elite explosion. IS there i don't know

(01:39:38):
if he's got great bend for. Size either and he's
got shorter arms, As well so there's gonna be an
upward path for him to be a full time guy
like a like a. Central player but he's got. The
motor he's putting it together as a. PASS rusher i
think he's, a guy like, you said, you know, you
know he's gonna give his all, day ONE and i
think he definitely Fits the, lions mentality the culture of
what they're trying to. Build there so a motor guy
who's gonna give one hundred and ten percent on every

(01:40:00):
rep and has decent two. PHASE utility i think you
can you can you can stomach.

Speaker 9 (01:40:04):
That, Here YEAH and i just want to say Between
the jaguars And the, LIONS picks I matched Michigan And ohio,
state guys so you can tell what part of THE
country i.

Speaker 1 (01:40:13):
Live in.

Speaker 10 (01:40:16):
There's a lot of. Talent there there's a lot. Of
talent pick number.

Speaker 1 (01:40:19):
Sixty one the commanders Back to david for his.

Speaker 3 (01:40:21):
Final pick my, Final pick i'm going to help the
team that is coming up in my division the offensive
side with.

Speaker 1 (01:40:30):
A receiver.

Speaker 4 (01:40:33):
We're gonna Go With, Jalen Nowell.

Speaker 10 (01:40:35):
JALEN nole i like this pick. A lot this will
get night. For me he's one of my favorite players
in the class because he's just such a. Hyperactive mover,
the twitch. The suddenness that don't be his elite hip
sync for his size as a, route runner but he's
more of that twitchy guy who's just gonna offset and
explode and contend VERTICAL and i think. He can he
does have that dual sided vertical and then short range
ability where he can be a. Rack target he can separate.

(01:40:57):
Pretty quick he's got pretty good hand eye coordination, verst
size but then he can threaten up the seam and
generate some. Big plays so big fan of, the pick
Especially with Jade. AND daniels I Think jayden daniels one
of the strong points of his game. Coming out, you
know you remember all those seam and and you know
slot fade Shots To Brian, thomas junior like he can
get the ball downfield and he can throw with touch

(01:41:18):
put it in. THE bucket I Think jalen nole's speed
is going to open up a lot more of. Those
opportunities for the.

Speaker 1 (01:41:24):
Final Time bill bender will make a pick tonight and It's.
The bills, oh sorry it was.

Speaker 9 (01:41:30):
On MUTE uh I taught i mentioned. Him earlier and,
YOU know i think defensive tackle could be a. Need
here there was a couple of GOOD ones i had
For the, Bills Here darius alexander WAS one i, had
bookmark but, uh Well Go Chamar TURNER texas a and
M second shamar taken in this round AND, uh i

(01:41:51):
you know that that gives them another defensive player that
could help them try to get back To The.

Speaker 10 (01:41:56):
Super Bowl, Schmart, TURNER yeah i think he's perfect as
like that three tech and Real. Quick dave can you
Check Is tyler williams still on. The board.

Speaker 9 (01:42:06):
Let me.

Speaker 1 (01:42:06):
SCROLL up i BELIEVE he i think he was TAKEN
because i had my eye on.

Speaker 9 (01:42:11):
Him, too yeah, he's there he, was there he.

Speaker 10 (01:42:15):
GOT okay i completely forgot if he had been taken. Or,
Not okay, So yeah tileak is off. THE board I
Think schmart turner is a. Great pick he's definitely best
a that. Three tech, he's explosive he's super. VIOLENT too
i think his discipline can be an Issue sometimes i'll
draw penalties, And everything i'll get a little over. The
top but if you can learn to, channel that if
you can learn to, control it he can be a
very good pick. FOR you i think also if you

(01:42:36):
were going to go for a nose, tackle here if you,
Wanted That alfred collins would be a decent, pick too
because he's just a space eater who's got a really
good motor, as well and you're not going to give
you most much pass, rush juice but he's really strong
at the point he get stack. In shed but a
three tech disruptor with some five. Tech Versatility, SCHMART turner
i think he would fit really.

Speaker 1 (01:42:54):
Well there pick sixty three In The Kansas. City chiefs yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:43:00):
To me if you can get a guy who's uh
six to seven almost three hundred pounds to go get
the quarterback at the end of, round two you go.
Get him that's why we're Gonna Get landon Jackson. From Arkansas.

Speaker 10 (01:43:12):
Landon jackson here we go For the. CHIEFS man i
Think Alongside George, CARL loftis i think that would. FIT
well i think he weighed in a little closer six,
foot six TWO sixty i believe is what he weighed
in on. THE combine i think he's gonna fit AT.
THE nfl i know he played SOME four I. FOR
arkansas i think his best fit AT the nfl level
will be five tech and outward, five tech, seven tech
maybe some wide nine, as well because he can play

(01:43:34):
as a stand up rusher if you need. Him to
but the appeal with him is he's got. The explosiveness
he's got really good bend for his. SIZE too i
think there are times where the hips can be a,
little disjointed but he's got good, ankle flexion the hand usage,
is strong and when he's out there beyond, THE tackle
i think on the front side he does have enough
play strength to hold up and. Run defense so For
the chiefs, IN particular i think that would be a.

(01:43:54):
Good fit spagnolo likes those long edge guys who can generate.
SOME power I Think landon Jackson of time can can
start to fill that out.

Speaker 1 (01:44:01):
Pretty well and we wrapped this Up With matt miller
In The.

Speaker 7 (01:44:06):
Philadelphia, eagles okay we will wrap this up with another
Weapon For jalen hurts in.

Speaker 4 (01:44:13):
An offense we're going to.

Speaker 8 (01:44:14):
Take a tight end.

Speaker 1 (01:44:14):
Out, Of Miami. Elijah, arroyo yeah here.

Speaker 10 (01:44:19):
WE go I Know dallas goddard's been on the, trade
blox so this has been. The speculation who are they going?
To TAKE and I Think elijah arroyo is one of
the better upside games in. THE class, i think, you
know you talk about a seam stretcher who has some
fluidity as a. Route runner he's kind of he kind
of fits. THAT bill i think he has room to
keep growing as a blocker a, little bit but being
six ft five two fifty with thirty three, inch arms

(01:44:40):
the brain is definitely there to suggest. Growth potential and
then he's just a, really smooth explosive. Vertical threat, YOU
know i think any any kind of tight end who
provides that field, stretching ability but can also get some
rack in the. Shoal range that's a good value. Deal Too,
mason taylor you could have gone with, him HERE but
I Think elijah arroyo is probably more more potent on the,

(01:45:00):
vertical PLANE and i think For the eagles that can
help create space for.

Speaker 1 (01:45:03):
Other guys, all right that brings us to an end
to our annual opening Kickoff mock draft two round Special
our thanks to everybody. That participates this is a lot.
OF fun i want To Ask bill bender here before
we let, Everybody, go bill What were how'd you feel
doing this for the. First, time oh it was a lot.

Speaker 9 (01:45:25):
Of FUN like, i said, you know we do a
lot of content over THERE AT sn i Really appreciate
ian all of you guys for hanging. IN there, I,
thought UH like, i said it gets you Ready for
thursday in terms of, like us even with us, in
here there were. Some surprises so when you're covering This on,
thursday night you look for that first couple of surprises.

Speaker 12 (01:45:47):
Or.

Speaker 9 (01:45:47):
TWO one i wanted to MENTION that i Had to
buffalo Was had green? Going There, Mike green so like
that was. The surprise, you know he goes early but.
You don't you're, not like oh, MY gosh i can't believe,
that happened because you wonder WHAT those nfl gms are
thinking in that.

Speaker 10 (01:46:04):
Same space, so this, YOU know i hope you have
me back.

Speaker 9 (01:46:06):
Next year this was a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:46:07):
Of, fun absolutely before we get out, OF here i
will leave the final Word To. Ian cummings.

Speaker 10 (01:46:17):
Do you want me to give any ruling on the best?

Speaker 1 (01:46:20):
CLASSES there i forgotutely absolutely get us out. Of here
on what you think you like the most from this
two round.

Speaker 10 (01:46:27):
MOCK draft i Mean the Panthers Getting jalen Royals And
Carson Sweazen gering round two had to be one of
my favorite little. Runs there, but overall, YOU know i
liked a lot of. THE classes i think the packers.
DID well i think, you Know and i'm already forgetting
which teams had which packages, Of players but there were
a lot of. FUN picks i think. You, know ultimately
this is one of those classes where you get past
the blue chip range at the top and there are

(01:46:48):
a lot of different permutations that you. Could have, you
know you've heard the phrase that this is a starter
draft where players you know twenty five to, you know
ninety five and even one hundred are guys who could be. Solid.
STARTERS you i think that depth. Is there so it's
really how you play, the board how you play, the
value and how you kind of marry team NEED and
vpa because it's never one hundred percent, one thing, you
know it's always kind of, you know finding the. Best

(01:47:10):
BALANCE and i thought this was a. Fun exercise there
weren't too many PICKS that i, was, LIKE like i
wouldn't have. DONE that i think, overall overall you guys
kind of won. The day you played the. Board well you,
got value especially toward the end of round one into
the beginning of, round two like some of those wide,
RECEIVER picks i, was like, oh okay like we're, getting
somewhere but some it's a lot. OF fun i, think

(01:47:31):
ultimately the lesson with, the DRAFT and I think bill
made a great point is that you never really know what.
To expect, you know like you could have one guy
you think you'll be able to get at number thirty
and then he's off the board, By, Fifteen right so
especially once you get past those, top guys you got
to remember you're dealing with thirty TWO different nfl teams
with thirty two different, draft boards and the far you
farther you get down, the board it's like a. Family

(01:47:53):
tree the farther you get down, the board, the variations
the amount of, potential outcomes it just multiplies By the
so there's so much to expect and so little to understand.
Right now this is a good exercise to get more affiliated,
with it get, more acquainted but some at the end of,
the day we just got to hold on for the
ride because it's going to, be falling.

Speaker 1 (01:48:13):
All right our Thanks To, Bill Bender, Matt Miller, Todd Michaelson,
Bryce Partlow, kevin Pierce For, david Miles For, brandon stevens
to our Esteemed Friend ian cummings Of The Pro. Football
Network i'm Dave. Stun well this has been the opening
kickoff Two Round Mock draft special
