The Book of Jonah: Disappointment With God

Have you ever been disappointed with God? Like God let you down… like He missed it? Like you obeyed, you sacrificed, you trusted—and things still fell apart? We've probably all felt that way at some point, the question is what do you do with that disappointment? Do you grieve it and process it and let it go or do you let it swell to anger and annoyance and a sense of accusation. Do you let it draw you to God or away from him? In today's message, we look at Jonah chapter 4 and find Jonah in a similar situation. God has let him down and he’s fuming. What do we do when we find ourselves in that same place, what do we do with our anger? And what does that reveal about what we truly believe about ourselves and God?
