Role model to all women, mentor and Owner & Chair of the Board, Burton Snowboards, i have always admired Donna Carpenter and finally got a chance to sit down with her for a quick chat about women in action sports.
Donna and her husband Jake Burton Carpenter founded Burton Snowboards in 1977. Burton is credited (amongst others, see interview with Brad Steward) with launching the modern snowboard and turning a largely unknown underground sport into what it is today.
