Sometimes the wilderness feels like the most unsafe place of all—fear, loneliness, exhaustion, and despair pressing in from every side. That’s exactly where Elijah found himself in 1 Kings 19. He ran from Jezebel, sat down under a broom tree, and cried out, “I’ve had enough, Lord. I’m no better than my ancestors.”
But God met Elijah right there—in the wilderness. Not with condemnation, but with presence, provision, and purpose. He sent His angel to touch Elijah, gave him bread and water for the journey, and spoke not in the fire or earthquake, but in a gentle whisper.
In this message, Pastor Josh shows how God keeps us SAFE in the Wilderness. Just as He provided manna for Israel, strength for Elijah, and the Bread of Life through Jesus, He provides what we truly need: Himself.
