In this episode, I introduce a simple model for what we create as parents when we choose to lead our children. I frame these outcomes as our 'legacies', which are enduring and invaluable 'gifts' that we pass along to our children. The model categorizes these legacies into 3 areas: the Joy Legacies, the Growth Legacies, and the Success Legacies.
The objectives of the episode are for parents:
- To create an understanding of the 3 legacy areas and the specific legacies in each area.
- To create the belief that they possess the stories and insights from their own life to pass along these legacies to their own children.
- To gain access to resources and a community to build their confidence and capability to lead as a parent.
