This season’s theme “Live from New York!” continues with the movie “Superstar,” featuring the brilliantly funny Molly Shannon starring as Mary Katherine Gallagher. In this episode we explore the career of Molly Shannon to get a better understanding of how this movie and it’s protagonist is in many ways a pseudo-autobiographical story of Molly Shannon herself. Unlike many of the movies we discuss on this podcast, we really enjoyed this sweet, weird, laugh-out-loud comedy.
