PRESIDENT TRUMP returned home from his Middle East trip with commitments for $2.5 trillion in foreign investment. Are the Abraham Accords proof that Trump is the Antichrist?
The peace treaty hinted at in the prophecy of Daniel 9:27, as interpreted by many prophecy teachers, is so vague it could mean almost anything. President Trump’s meeting with Ahmed al-Sharaa, the nominal president of Syria, was the first time a US president has met with a Syrian leader in 25 years, another example of how Trump is rearranging the chessboard of the Middle East.
However, the “strong covenant with many,” rather than a peace agreement, could be the kind of trade deal Trump is working on with the Gulf oil states (and China, for that matter). That said, the Antichrist will be adored by so many people around the world that he will ultimately be worshipped as a god. President Trump is too divisive a figure for that.
We recognize that the president is far from perfect. But at least he’s giving American Christians a window of opportunity to preach and practice our faith without interference, something we didn’t have with Presidents Biden or Obama.
