On this episode, Sarover and Kal are still talking about "his type" and he's still bad-mouthing Katisha. Bardha and Jed talk about who will be the leader in the relationship. They have a wine mixer and Javen/Katisha say they are ready to "date" if they don't get married. Finally they head to their new apartments - Katisha admits (kinda) what she said to Demola. And Billy meets Ashleigh's dad, fresh off his audition from a Queen tribute band!

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Okay, guys, let's let's get into it now for real.
Let's get into it now for real. Okay, fine, Season two,
episode five, I don't want to be the villain, Okay.
Lots of couple scenes at the resort. Okay. So Ashley
and Billy are talking about what we have is special
and I'm going to try to do my best Irish
accent here, which is gonna be terrible because he said
it so sweetly. He goes, well, we have a special

(00:34):
I'm so drawn through you. You want of a kindness,
can't care noth of y'all.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
That's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
It was.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
It was just cute. It was cute.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
So I just I have that feeling like it's gonna
go off the rails. I feel like it and it's
gonna be because of him. I just have and I've
always had that feeling.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I'm like, there's something.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Yeah, because Amy Archer was texting us as like I'm
watching it because she's not covered it, so she's like,
I'm just watching it and oh my god, I love Billy,
and Keisha writes back, even with that song tattoo on
his arm.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
I was like Amy, really yeah, really? Because she said
he was kind of hot. I don't see it.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
But now that we know more, as we're getting in
five and six about his workout regime and stuff, now
I see why his face looks like that.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Well, his haircut is bad too.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
It reminds me of like mister Rogers neighborhood, the little
what do you call the Marionette characters.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yes, yes, very box, Yes, I got you very odd,
very odd.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
I just think because of his the way he eats
and lives and everything, that's why his face is so drawn.
Because I think he does have enough protein or maybe
he has either too much protein.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Think it's so much protein he needs some or carbs
to kind of fill everything out.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
A little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
But he just needs a little sugar in his life.
So something Megan and Kien are talking about how they're
just having the best time together and they're on this boat,
and he says, I know you've had bad experiences with
men in your life, and so I've been really mindful
of that. I'm trying to like build the trust with you.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
And so she talks.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
About her mom and she says, you know, my mom
is on her own right now. It's been really hard
to see what she's gone through with men, and I'm
always terrified of being in a situation like my mother
has gotten herself into.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
And he's like, who knew you could fall in love
through a wall?

Speaker 1 (02:24):
And then he kind of looks at her because she
hasn't said it, and she says, she goes, it's not
like I don't want to say it, it's just I
want to take the time and wait for it to
be the right time. But then she goes deafo nearly there.
These Brits they do they say, they do everything in
a shortened form. We've heard on ninety day UK, we've

(02:45):
heard air con mod cons like they say these things,
and this one she's like, deafo nearly there.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Why can't you say definitely?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
I mean we're watching another show when someone's when someone
said wants neat, so I mean America is not the
much better.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
That's such a great point. Thank you for bringing me
down a peg. Oh, I matching we are broad? The
guy does imagine are broad? The guy does say she's
not listening to my wants needs right. We just can't
get past that, never will well, that guy such an
it guys. Keisha and I recovering match were broad it's
something okay.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
To be watching it. Y'all.

Speaker 1 (03:22):

loved my Quints linen all summer, and right now in
my cart, I've got these stackable gold bangle bracelets and
these leather sandals that will be great going into the fall.
They've got all these pieces that can transition, right that.
Got these little cardigans you can throw over your dresses.
I went to dinner with a friend last night and

(05:09):
I looked at her. I said, is that dress Quints?
And she said, yes, yes it is. She had worn
it to work and it looked great out to dinner.
Everything they have, you guys, is so firsatile. You've got
chic cashmir and cotton sweaters starting at forty dollars. You
still got those washable silk tops and skirts. The skirt
is so great. And those amazing dinner pants with the
cute pockets on the front.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
And the best part, everything with Quints is half the cost.
You know, they only work with factories that use safe,
ethical and responsible manufacturing practices and always premium fabrics and finishes. Okay,
you guys, I've got luggage, I've got the blankets, I've
got the jewelry, I've got the fall pieces, I've got

when they ask you, where did you hear about us?

(06:14):
Make sure you tell them pink shade. So the talking
head she says, I do find it very hard to
trust men because of my mom's past relationships and what
she's been through. And the talking eddy goes, yeah, that
I love you thing. I get it, and I understand it.
I mean, I would like to have it for the
reassurance there is a wedding pending. Yeah, he seems to

(06:34):
be being nice about it.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
He is being nice about it because I find it
quite odd that you cannot say I.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Love you, but you're willing to walk down the album
with me. Make it makes sense?

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Yeah, I agree with that. So God has got to
be like looming over him, like we're working out and
I handed her a towel. Is this when she's gonna
say it?

Speaker 2 (06:53):
We just have sex? It was amazing? Is this when
she's gonna say it? You know? Yep, yeap, yep, yep.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
All right, and cal are at the spa and again
he talks about how he's only dated white British in
the past. Now he's not even saying girls, he's just
shortening it to watch.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
This, don't I don't understand why. I don't. I think.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
I think he keeps saying it to make her feel special,
like this is not normally my type, but you are
just everything to me. You're gorgeous, you're brown hair, brown eyes,
you know, brown skin. I love you so much, but
it is not being received that way. I think his
intentions are good, but he just needs to shut the fuck.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Up about it. Let it go. Yeah, she doesn't care.
She doesn't need to hear this shit now.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Unless, like right before this, she told production it's still
on her mind and they told him make sure to
bring it up, you know, so he said, go off
of that.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Yeah, if they did, he says, you.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Know, the town I grew up in was predominantly white,
working class, he said, so that was my work. Basically,
that was a dating pool. And he goes, but I
went on this experiment to find love, and what it
showed me is if you like someone, you like someone,
and it doesn't matter the color of the skin, and
if you love someone, then a type doesn't exist. And

(08:18):
he says, I definitely feel I found love, and when
I said it, I meant it, and it's gotten stronger
since I said it.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Great.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Now close that book. Wow, quit talking about that she
knows you love her. I think she feels loved. She
only seems insecure when you bring this one topic up.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
So yeah, yes, and she says, well likewise, and she says,
and we both said I love you when the time
felt right, and it's still there and it is growing stronger.
In the talking head, she's like, I'm glad he said that.
It is like a special reassurance. Okay, let's quit talking
about it, all right. So then he goes, because this
is what I love about col He goes, listen, not

(08:57):
to judge the other couples, but we're obviously the strong ones.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
I love what they did. I love when they start
to decide that their relationship is better. Yes, and he goes,
I definitely feel like we're the strongest. And he goes,
you know, I pulled Katisha over to talk to her.
I think it's very strange. She ended up with Javin
and she changed at the last minute. She changed her mind.

(09:22):
And Javin's a friend and he's a good guy. But
she hurt my very good friend, uh Domola, and it
hurt me as well.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
So she's like, he has really bothered. He is really
bothered by this. But here's the thing. It seems like, okay,
let it go until you think about the fact. I
think at this point he's concerned about Javin a little
bit too. You picked someone who the night before says
she was for sure going to be with someone else,
and within twenty four hours decided to be with you.

(09:52):
Are you sure this person is good for you too?
It's just really odd. I think I'm like a little player.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
I think I'm starting to feel what you're saying is
that the issue was not like, oh gosh, job in
such a player and she's a great guy. It's like
this girl's gonna break both their hearts.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
I think so too.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Originally I thought it was like, you, you fucked over
my friend?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
How dare you? This guy is super gross?

Speaker 4 (10:14):
Yeah, but if he thought that, he would have said
more things about Javing, like you don't know what he
said in.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
The pot, But no, it's it's her.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
He's looking at sideways and yeah he should Yeah, beautiful
blue eyes.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
And when they talked at the pool and she was
like like stink face the whole time. I think he
was like, wipe that stink off your face. Girl.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
She's not super likable.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
She makes a lot of stink face. And I'm just
because she's so smiley. She's either smiley or stink face.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Well, because when she's her mouth is so wide.

Speaker 4 (10:45):
Yeah that when she I think even Javin says something like,
oh you're really smilly, it goes way back here, it does.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
There's nothing between. Yeah, there's no one between.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
That's what my kids used to say when they were little,
when we watched Camp Rock or Camp Rock the Final Jam,
anything with Dimmi Levado, and we loved Tommy Levado still do.
And you guys know, there's gonna be another Camp Rock movie.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
I'm so excited. And she just was on that Jonah's
Brother's tour. She made like a surprise. Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
And so she whenever she would be on the screen,
John you know, who was like eight or nine, would
go what is it about her? I go, oh, god,
you have her voice is so good? She said, she
an amazing scene and he goes, she just has a
big smile. She does have a big smile.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
It was it.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Was an eight year old's brain way of being like wow,
like her smile is different than like mine, Like she's
got a lot of yeas or something. You know, Yes,
she does, yeah, and I was just really sweet because
I was like, are you in love with her? So okay,
So Katisha and Javin are talking and she's telling him
about her chat with Cal at the pool and she goes,

(11:55):
I guess he was just confused and didn't understand why
I chose you or like where my head was that,
and Jovin goes, yeah, that's yeah. He's a straight up guy.
He'll just say what's on his mind. Like he didn't
say like what a dick? What did he say?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
No, he did, which says a lot.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
Yeah, So because most guys would be like, why is
he even talking to you?

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Like he's a yelp? Talk to him.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
You don't owe him any explanation. Yes he didn't, he
goes he's He goes, yeah, he's a good guy.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
So Barta and jedter together and they're driving dune buggies
and he's they're sitting and he's joking about your driving
and he laughs and goes, okay, well we'll see what
you're like.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
In a proper car whatever.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
And then he either he says or she says like
she's used to being the lead, like the driver in relationships,
and he goes, oh, I'm not used to that. He goes,
It's not like I wouldn't like you to. It's just
I'm not built that way, right, he said. He said,
I like to take care of my woman. I like
to treat her right. And he says for she says,
you know, for me, it's easy to just make decisions,

(12:52):
move on and do things on my own. Like she's not.
It's not that she doesn't want to compromise. She's just
ever had to do it. She's just been in relationships
where she says, where they're going to dinner, she says,
when the laundry is getting done, she says, when the
clean lay's coming, or whatever.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
You know, she's she just makes all the decisions at all.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Yeah, she goes, it's just been easy for me, just
like like if you want to done right, do it
yourself kind of a thing. Right, And he goes, but
how would you how do you feel because I'm a
dominant type of guy, And she goes, I think it's
going to take getting used to and maybe they'll we'll
both have to get used to it if we're both dominant, right.
But they're talking it through, you know, right, and the

(13:34):
talking edge she goes, I like things to get done
my way, So we're both gonna have to get used
to this, right, all right, We get scenes of frolicking
at the resort is nighttime, and then we get scenes
in the morning everybody's waking up whatever, time for a
wine mixer with everybody. Matt and Emma arrive. No food again,
no food, oh, no food, just drinks. There was no food,

(13:56):
just drenks, Like why it.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Was the budget seems to be shorter because of the music.
They're not playing like regular songs like some seasons they can.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
And you're like, they've got to pick budget, yes, but
these are really bad.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
They have no food, no food, and no like Adele,
no Selena Gomez, like no artists they recognized m So
Matt and Emma arrive and they say, well, the holiday
is almost over and now you'll be moving into the
most intensive, intense part of the experiment. New apartment, jobs,
your devices, your friends and family. These are all new things.

(14:33):
And Ashley and Billy say, oh god, it's going to
be so awkward to meet her family because she has
never brought a guy home, and it will be like,
not only have I never brought a guy home? Here
he is, and he's my fiance, right, Barta says. They
say they're just kind of going around and asking questions,
and they say, are you worried? Are you scared? And
Barta says, the wedding in the marriage doesn't scare me.

(14:54):
It's like, let's get cracking. We got work to do.

Speaker 5 (14:56):
She's ready, she's ready, and she's organized, right, yeah, and
she's just gonna say I'm gonna be pregnant in one
point five years, yes, and then yeah she is, she's
got a schedule, she's.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Got a schedule. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
So Javad and Katisha look miserable, and he says, we're
not worried because we know if the wedding doesn't happen,
it won't be the end of our journey. And she goes,
I mean, I do want to get married, That's what
I came here for. But you know living together will
be difficult to navigate. And he says, if before the

(15:29):
wedding we decide we're not ready, we are both comfortable
to say it's not the right time for us, and
then we'll just like keep dating.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
That says a lot.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
This is the first time that we've heard someone actually
say these words. Usually it's like, yeah, we're so excited,
we can't wait. He's already talking about them not getting married.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
He's like, look, we came out of this pods like
this is weird, and we're going to agree that it's
okay if we don't get married, right.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
I think he is out of the zone of I
gotta win, I gotta win, I gotta win.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
And now he's like, what the fuck did I do?

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Yeah, and I think he's absolutely not going to get
left at the altar. He's like, you and I will work,
you know, And I don't know if they get paid more.
I believe we've heard they do get paid more if
they go to the altar, whether they get married or not.
But nobody, but nobody wants to get humiliated at the
at the altar and be like I'm gonna read my
pals to you.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Yeah, but the.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Answer is no, you know, nobody wants that. He definitely
doesn't want that. No, So Kieren tells the guys they're
over like having drinks by the ocean, and Kieren tells
the guys, you know, Megan has not said I love you. You know,
she's never been in love before. But I do think
I'm gonna need to hear it before the wedding, but
I'm okay to wait. I know she's taking her time,

(16:51):
and Billy says, oh, and she says it's gonna mean
so much word.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Are you sorry? I can't help it?

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Yeah, I'm sorry, Jovin says. Jovin says, well, we haven't
said it. Nobody is shocked.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
No, and it's like, really, oh, I thought you guys
had matching tattoos by now, like really okay, yeah, no one's.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
That would be a great idea for them to bring
a tattoo artist on one of those wine nights. And
you know when they do that, they only give you
like a choice of like six small things you can choose,
and they could get l I B, they could get
a heart. It'd be interesting to see if anybody did it.
Those would be horrible fucking tattoos, the ones that you

(17:34):
just said. I know, but they can only offer like
three or four because they're trying to like crank them out.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
You know, I'm gonna need them to come up with
something a little bit better. I will pay more British.
I want l I b uh huh.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
L I B a British flag. No, no, okay, that
would take too long. It's too much color.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Would you get an American flag? Exactly?

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Never mind, we could go down that, we could come up.
We could come up with lights of ideas.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
So and Job is like, no, we haven't said it.
He goes, you know, it's a really difficult thing for
me to say. He said, I feel like it's a
really heavy word and I need more time. This is
a guy who's never had a serious girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
So I don't say so at all. No, he is
looking more and more like Kevin Hart.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
He's even starting to look like Kevin Hart's kids to me,
because I was looking like, actually, he looks more like
Kevin Hart's daughter.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
If you really really daughter, Yeah she does. No, no, no, no.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
When we get done, google her and you'll see exactly
what I'm talking about. He doesn't look feminine, but he
looks more and she doesn't look masculine.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
He looks like a guy with a beard.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
She looks.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
He looks like he could be her dada. When you
see it, you'll be like, Okay, I see it.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
I see it. He is part of the Heart family.
He should get a heart tattoo.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Yes, he's the he's the British version. So so Jedd says,
you know, Barta is very strong minded. She does everything
by herself, and I'm not used to that, you know.
I'm used to being the lead and being relied on
and it's fine, but we are going to have to
adapt to that.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
So now we see Megan and Kian talking and I'm
going to do this in chunks because it kind of
jumped around. Okay, So Meghan says, you know, I think
Kieran is going to fit naturally into the family. Now
when she's talking, Megan's talking to Barta and somebody else
is sitting there. Did you notice the three marks on
her neck?

Speaker 4 (19:31):
What the hell happened that night? Did he wear woof
her out or something like that? What were the scratches?

Speaker 1 (19:38):
I was literally like doing this because it was like
two long wines and then like a different one down here,
and I was like, was it I was trying to
figure out in my mind, like did he with these fingers?

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Like?

Speaker 1 (19:49):
I was like, was it like that? I was trying
to figure out.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
It was very very noticeable, very odd, and she could
have worn her hair down.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
She did it.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
And he's like, I'm going to scratch that love out
of you, scratch it out like it look like a
cat got to her net.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
It did. And then when they're back, which is only
like the next day or two days later, when they're
back in Manchester, it's still there, but it's a lot
more faint.

Speaker 4 (20:17):
I don't know why she didn't put makeup on it.
I don't know why she did to wear her hair down.
I don't know why she didn't give them a fucking
explanation to why she had scratch marks on her net.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Do you think they'll they'll ask her at the reunion.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
I don't think so. I bet they don't.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
I love We'll We'll have to look. We'll have to
look and see if it's on Twitter or you know
what I mean, if there was any buzz about it,
or it just our egolize caught it. So Megan is saying,
I think Kieran is going to fit naturally into my family,
and Barta says, I think my family's going to love
Jed like we come from similar backgrounds, and she says,

(20:51):
you know, Jed talks really proudly about wanting to be
a provider. We've talked about finances and she which is
good because they never do right. And she says, you know,
on a first date, like I'm fine if a man
wants to pay, but after that, I'm okay to pay.
But you know, she said, but my brothers would never
let a woman pay. That's the culture. She goes, I

(21:11):
don't know. I feel like we might butt heads on this,
and it runs.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Me very much of like Melissa Gorga opening the boutique
and Joe. It's like, you don't need to do that,
you don't need to work, you need to be here.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
With the kids. I do this, I do that. I
think it's going to be an issue, but I have
a feeling they're going to get over it. I think
so too.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
So Billy is saying to the guys, the biggest thing
about living together is communication. You're together. I don't know
why I go into like such a fake like a
Liverpool accent. I've got to stop, Okay, Billy says, the
biggest thing living together is communication. You're together in close
quarters and something's bothering you, you just communicate and vice versa.

(21:54):
The girl has to communicate.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Too, and I'm an age.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
Well for him, No, we sure didn't.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Not.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
After episode six, that did not age well at all.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
He doesn't seem very vendable. So Jovin says, you know
what's interesting is you go from not seeing the person
at all and then you spend every minute together, and
he goes, the first couple of days were weird, and
they all kind of agree, and Billy says, well, it
was interesting when we were talking to Matt and Emma
that you said if you didn't work out, you would

(22:26):
just date. Yeah, and Billy goes, yeah, Ashley and I've
already talked about this, and I think if we both
don't say yes, then I don't know if we'll go
back to dating. I don't know. I think that's hard
to me.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
I think that would be hard, but also a lot
more understandable. But I would hope they would do that
before they go to the altar, just say look, I
like this, I like you. I like our situation, but
I feel like we need to date more, which is
what they all should be doing anyway, instead of going
to the altar and getting married. Like, we're not ready
to get married, but we're ready to be with each other.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Yeah, but you commit commit, Yeah, we'll still be engaged,
you know.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
So okay, So Jovin says, yeah, to do the marriage part,
we definitely need more time together, and I guess that's
what the next thing is about. And cal Cal of course, goes, oh, yeah,
well maybe it's still raw because, uh, you and Demola
was close. You and Demola was close, and then he
got the rug pulled out and it was bad news

(23:28):
for him but good news for you, and Javin kind
of nods and he goes, do you think about that?
Do you think about him? And Jovin says, you know,
it's more like, why did you feel this day this
way one day and then another way the next day.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
That seems like I think it clearly now, And thank
you Cal, because yeah, you weren't going to let it
go until he saw it. And he was not gonna
let it go. It was gonna be like calling him
up in the middle of the night.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
So why do you think?

Speaker 4 (23:59):
But now I'm glad that he's seeing that now because
that's something he does need to ask her, that's concerning.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
And Cal says, well, that's why I tried to talk
to her at the pool about this, and Jed says, well,
it had to be very hard for her to be
torn like that, and Kal goes, Yeah, you know, she
blindsided you in a good way, but the wedding is
coming up, so maybe there's a bigger blindside coming up.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
In the carts because she would totally do something like that.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
I was like, whoa, Okay, cal Hel hates her.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
He hates her. I mean, I'm kind of right there
with it.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
I didn't like her in the pods, but then as
the show kept going on, I was I was like, Okay,
I get it. She doesn't have a lot of confidence,
but I'm like and then I was like, I don't
think she's that smart.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
I just think she's.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
All hair, all lips, all teeth. And then when she
did that final it's not a good look for her,
and she's not redeemed herself as of yet.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
Not yet.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
So the talking head Jovin says, you know, I'm not
one to care about other people's opinions, and ideally I
do want to get married and complete the process. But
a lot of guys are bringing up the Demola thing
and I get it. So I'm going to talk to
her about it and you know, find out what she
said to give him the confidence. Right, he hasn't.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
Asked like he doesn't know what she said. He hasn't asked, Like, hey,
everybody's asking, can you just tell me? He still hasn't ask. Yeah,
so he's he.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
I mean, the fact is that he does not know
that she told said all right, Dimola, Dimola, Yeah, Demola,
you're the one. I'm not gonna change my mind, period,
point blank. He doesn't know that it's not gonna be
good when you found out.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
He's not good. I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
So they're going now to know they're still the mixer.
Ashley again has a giant purse.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
Now.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
The last time was so Ashley. She came to a
pool party carrying a tin handbag, and now she's at
a wine mixer with a grandma wicker bag.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
She don't know how much work she's gonna have to do.
She's like, maybe these bitches need a little bit of
ourson crafts and we really need to talk about things
out here. I am prepared, ladies. Let's get in the group.
Who I've got activities for us to do.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
We're on. She wants to be a therapist, so goddamn bad.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
She's like, let me get up my clipboard. I'm prepared.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
I've got a big enough to hold it.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
So, yes, what if she just pulled out a laptop.
I was like, hold on, let me set up.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
I wouldn't be surprised at all. I was like, okay,
thank I'll write a laptop. You're not gonna write all
this shit down?

Speaker 2 (26:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
So she's talking to Katisha and she's like, I just
want to check. Are you okay?

Speaker 1 (26:41):
Yes, you haven't said I love you? So is Demolah
on your mind? And she goes what She goes, No,
I'm fine. Cal has already tried to talk to me
about this, right, And now she goes, okay, I'm sorry
about that. Maybe everybody's coming at you. She goes, it's
okay that everybody's concerned, and that's fine. But Cal wasn't

(27:02):
in the pods with me, and he doesn't know. And
I couldn't just say yes to someone when I wasn't
underd percent.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Sure about it. I felt very at.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Peace with Jovin and he was going at the speed
that I was comfortable with, which is interesting because Demolo
was going really fast.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Well, here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
When it came down to the last date, they both proposed, so.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
The speed had to be the same at some point,
but makes sense to me.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
But Java only proposed because she said she had dumped Demolo,
you know what I mean. And he was all like,
she's going to propose to me, and then that wasn't
the case.

Speaker 4 (27:40):
Well, remember she was mythed because Javin wasn't like bringing
her gifts and doing all this extra stuff. So it's like,
which speed was the right speed?

Speaker 1 (27:51):
You're right, you're right, you're right, you're right.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
That's why I'm here on my shit the last couple
of episodes.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
You're right.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
He never told me I was right this many times.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Yeah, you're killing it. So she starts crying, and as
she starts to cry, Ashley goes, it's okay, let it out.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
You need this.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
I only so Etna insurance. I have got the car,
Peter right here, swipe and.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
She digs into that handbag and was like, I have
a tissue. Tissue hilarious.

Speaker 2 (28:23):
I would love to know what else was in that
damn bag. She has snacks. There's no food there. It's
so funny.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
She's just walking around clutching her purse all the time.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
All right, big guys.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
First, so she Katsha says, you know, I feel bad
about Demola and it was all about how I felt
and with Java, and I felt like I could be myself.
She says, my life has been chaotic, and with him,
I felt I could be myself or whatever. And Ashley goes,
that's great. I love that white pearchaers, okay, are you

(28:56):
sure you want to marry him? She goes, why do
you have doubts?

Speaker 2 (29:03):
Like?

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Why is everybody doubting me? I did not take this
decision lightly and as she.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
Goes, okay, all right, okay, let me just get this
back up my purse.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
And because she goes, I don't want to be a villain.
I came in by myself. I came in for me,
and as goes, You're no villain, babe. You're no villain babe,
and she tugs her and it hits her on the
head with their purse. No, I made up that last part.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
But she hugs her and she's literally hugging her in
her purse. It's like swinging her.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
So funny.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
The first is well, it was funny because she's hugging
her and Katitia's Katsha's arm is just like dangling.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
Yeah yeah, because she literally was like, why are you
questioning me? And She's like, no, I don't know, but.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Are you sure? Just whispering nobody can hear us. No
one believes in their relationship. Fuck love.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
They don't believe in the relationship at all. No, So
everyone's packing. Katitia and jav And are talking and he's like, so, oh,
how did everything go? And she goes, I feel good
about my chat with Ashley. But they have nothing else
to say to each other.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
All right, And she had she needed those little pimple
patch things. Oh did she have a pimple? I didn't
see him.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
She had like two or three and they were redw
It's like I did to my son. I'm always like, John,
get over here. I see something. It's white. He's like, ah, like,
you can't go on public like that.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Not gross.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
I'm with John. I'm like, I let them pop by themselves.
I've put a little bit of cover up on them, but.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
I don't turn red. No going for me. John's dollars
are red. No, John's will be white. Yeah, it's ready
to pop.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
It's disgusting. Okay, I can't talk about this. Okay. They
go to Manchester, that's where the apartments are. Twenty one
days till the wedding's three weeks in the apartments.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Oh you know, this is when my anxiety gets out
of control.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
I liked that they said three weeks because three weeks
sounds like a long time. Twenty one days sounds short short,
even though it is the same time.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
You'll see the apartment. The apartments are super cool. They're cool.
I like them.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
They get their phones back and Ashley's like, oh, we've
got our phones back, but I just want to stay
in the bubble. And He's like, oh my god, I
had to get engaged to you to get your phone number.
And they joke about the phones and they're talking to
She says, I'm very nervous about telling my dad where
the hell I've been, and I didn't. I really didn't
think I would find true love in the pods and

(31:24):
I respect my dad so much. It's my first time
in my life I've ever made a decision without consulting him,
and I want him.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
To be happy with my decision. All right.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Kieran and Meghan find each other's Instagram and he sees
like a super hot ass picture of her. He's like,
ohh my god. Yeah, She's like stop stop, and then
he says he's one of him, like taking his shirt off.
They're like being very.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Cute, very very very cute.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
Yeah, and then talking and she goes, I've never felt
this way about someone, and I haven't that I love
you yet, like it's such a big thing, but I
will say it. I'm gonna say it at the right moment.
And now like it's glooming, you know. Yes, Barta and
Jetter in their kitchen and they're cooking, and she says,
oh gosh, you know, I've always thought about when I
settled down, I could share the culture and my food,

(32:18):
and you're my Albanian culture. Your Lebanese culture are very similar.
And he goes, god, you know, when I talk to
you and I do this, it feels like home and
being with you is like being with my best friend,
being with the fiance and one. I love you so much.
And they hug and he's like, you're so cute. He says,
you're so cute a lot. I think that it would
get old.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
He says, you're so cute a lot and s over
says something about cow's muscles all the time.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Well way too much. Yeah, okay, I look at his
eyes with those teeth, look at those teeth. Got to
figure out if there's real teeth are so good.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
Well, we see his family and they don't have teeth
like that, so those seats don't run in the family
at all.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
His brother's seats were okay, m hmm, Barta and Jed
are cooking. I've already said that. Okay, and the talking head,
she says. Barta says, it feels great. Real life is
kicking in. He's an amazing person, like I feel lucky
every second. And the talking had he says, I think
this phase of living together is bringing us even closer,

(33:25):
Like I can see us moving in together, having the babies,
doing all the things you're supposed to do when you're
in love and you get married.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Cute.

Speaker 4 (33:32):
You know, I have to give it to these people
because I know after I go somewhere with someone, when
we get home, I need a break. I need to
be in my space. You be in your space for
a little bit. I mean, they're having to do all.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
This boom boom boom boom boom, so I'd be like,
I need to go to my apartment for a minute.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Remember Lauren and Dave last season and how and he
would just go out.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
He just needed a break.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
You stated it by yeah, he turned out me ashole. Okay,
so they loved Harry Styles.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
That wasn't weird, so he did. He had the T
shirts T shirts.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
So it is good music, so we won't fault in
that all right now, Katisha and Jeff, it's funny that
they're juxtaposing all these like close couples like rolling around
on the couch and cooking together and all this. And
Katisha and Job and he's sitting at the desk and
she's on the hep. They are like across the room
from each other.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
They have no desire to be next to each other,
and they don't even want to really talk.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
And she says, I feel like the other couples are
creating stories about us, and they don't know us. They
weren't in the pods with us, they're not in the
bedroom with us. Like they just assume a lot, like
why can't they just take this for what it is?

Speaker 4 (34:47):
It's really none of their business, which is true. But
they've also been around y'all a lot as a couple
and they don't see any lovey w I mean the
majority of the time. If they are by chance standing
next to each other. His arm is never around her,
her arm is never around him. So sorry, yeah, that
looks suspicious.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Because all the other couples are just yeah, yeah, yeah.
So Jovin says, I can understand why they're wondering, because,
you know, something flipped and something was said in a
twenty four hour period, Like you wouldn't just walk around
saying I'm going to walk away with this person unless
someone has given confirmation it's going to happen exactly if

(35:30):
you don't want to talk about it, it's no big deal,
it's not a big deal. And she goes, well, it
is a big deal, obviously, and she goes but you know,
I feel like what I said was silly, and I'm
like embarrassed. And he goes, well, okay, what and she goes, well,
one of the last things I said to him, which
I think about now, I don't know why I said
it was I told him not to worry. Now she
doesn't say I told him not to worry, and I

(35:53):
wouldn't change my mind. And he goes dying, she lying
and she's telling you half true mm hmm, And he goes, okay, well,
if somebody told me not to worry, then I wouldn't
worry yep, And then talking daddy goes, I want to
back her up. I don't want people questioning her. But
she told him not to worry. So that gives me

(36:14):
a little bit of a sentiment of what that conversation was.
So yeah, he thought he was leaving with her, and
then he got the old switcheroo. So I do wonder
is that behavior going to repeat itself?

Speaker 2 (36:27):
I mean, thank you for being thinking smartly, Jovin. You
know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (36:31):
He's not he's not the gotta win football player.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
You know what do they call it? Bloke in the UK?

Speaker 1 (36:40):
A bloke, a bloke.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
A chat boke, something like that, or mate, mate.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
Well, he's not being chauvinistic kind of like, you know,
he's thinking now, like he's thinking clearly. He's I think
he's really thinking about the relationship instead of it just
being a contest, like should I even be with this?

Speaker 2 (37:00):
She got a flip the script on me?

Speaker 1 (37:02):
And I also think he is like and I could
use this as an excuse not to be with her,
and I don't look like the bad guy.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
And it's a pretty goddamn good excuse. Yeah. Twenty days
until the weddings. Today is the.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
Day Billy meets. Billy's gonna meet my daddy Barry. But
she says he's gonna meet Daddy Barry. So her last
name is Barry, But I was thinking dad's name was Barry.
But Dad's name is Gwinny.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Now wait a.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Minute, now, hold on, okay, and that she said, Okay,
she says, today's the day Billy's gonna meet Daddy Barry.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Okay, So I thought dads name was Barry. Oh, okay, No, no, no,
his name is Gwinny. Now it's funny because I've never
seen another man with the name looks like Gwen h
And maybe it is Gwenn because I have a friend
whose parents are Gwenn and Wynn.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
Okay, so that's the only.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
Other man I've known named Gwenn. But it's spelled like this.

Speaker 4 (38:06):
I've never heard of a man being called Gwen g
w Y in any Yeah, first time ever. Yeah, And
it said him there, so a lot of reason it
fit him.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
They're in Croydon and she's like, this is huge today,
really big. I'm so nervous, and he goes, how do
you think I feel?

Speaker 2 (38:28):
So I don't know where I don't know if they're
on the parents' patio. If they're it looks like they're
in a backyard or something.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
Somebody's there in somebody's backyard. Mom is like, I am
not fucking with this. So we haven't heard anything about
our mom, She says, parents a lot. Okay, okay, So
here comes dad. Dad is Gwyn Gwinny. And we don't
understand the hair. It is not explained.

Speaker 4 (38:50):
I keep telling you he once upon a time, try
it out for he auditioned to be part of Queen.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
Does he not look like he used to be in Queen?
Just got older? Yeah? I like it. I like Gwenne,
I like Gwinnie. I like Gwenn Gwinny. Me too. So
he hugs her and as he's hugging her, he whispers,
are you all right? Yeah, which was cute.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
He's like, are you being held against your will? So
she's like, dad, Dad, come sit, and he goes, where
have you been?

Speaker 2 (39:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (39:20):
So she's been gone for ten days. I think they've
been gone for two weeks. I think this first part time.
I think this first part is two weeks.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
And they don't know exactly where they're going either.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
No, and they can't It's interesting because we know on
the Minnesota one that the cute couple Daniel and Taylor
remember because she told one friend what she was doing
and then she thought he did the friend of Daniel whatever.
So I guess you have to be able to tell
one person where you are for safety purpose.

Speaker 4 (39:53):
Well, if scholar does some shit, that one person better
be me, no, or she going to open up her
suitcase and I'm gonna supper.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
I can't ask. I can't be gone two weeks and
I don't know where the hell she is.

Speaker 1 (40:05):
No, So he's like yeah, So he's like, where have
you been? And she goes, well, I've been living in Manchester.
He's like, not since yesterday. Where were you before that?
And she goes, I've been living in Manchester. And Billy
is not my boyfriend, he's my fiance. So I think
they must have told him beforehand. We're filming this show.
She's found a boyfriend because they have to tell them

(40:27):
some reason they're filming.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
Thing and that this person, this stranger is coming with
their child.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
Yeah, and so when you this person is going to
walk into your house and we're filming you you know. Yeah,
So he goes fiance as in getting married fiance, and
he just looks at her and she goes yes, and
he goes, so you're getting married, and she goes yes.
So she explains about the experiment and he goes, well,
it's a bit of a shock, really, and she says,

(40:54):
I know, dad, and he says, I didn't realize I
was coming to meet your future husband. I just thought
he was boyfriend. And then he goes it's not the norm,
is it. And then this is the end of the episode,
and we're left thinking, and we were given the impression,
oh no, this is gonna go terrible. We see her crying,
it's gonna be awful. She's gonna well, if you watched

(41:16):
episode six spoiler alert, that's.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
Not what happens.

Speaker 4 (41:20):
No, but I have to say that I really like
the way that Gwynn Gwinny handled the situation.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
Me too, Yeah, so far more than I like Billy.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
So far so good. With the parents, I think we're
going to have a problem with sorrowvers. Yes, her hot mom,
her hot mom. Yeah, he kind of has a hot
mom too, by the way.

Speaker 2 (41:46):
Oh no, okay, all right, all right, well we'll discuss that.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
When we disagree, we have agree to disagree. Yeah, all right,
you guys, that's the end of episode five. The next
episode will be episode six. It'll already be in your feed.
You'll have five, six, seven, eight in your feed all
at the same time. So if you're rolling through the episodes,
you can roll through our recaps as well, because we
are over here just working our little tails to the

(42:11):
bone for this, and.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
The recaps are funny and entertaining.

Speaker 1 (42:16):
At least that's what we think.

Speaker 2 (42:18):
We hope. Yeah, we hope you guys.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
We hope that you're liking it because we're entertaining ourselves
and that's really all that matters.

Speaker 4 (42:26):
And sometimes we forget that, you guys. I know I
do whenever, even with my own show, I forget people.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
Are listening to it.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
We do with solid seven minutes about Amy Winehouse and
we're like, we have got to talk about this show.
And then do we do another five minutes about my
son leaving for college, which really nobody cares about.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
So just you know, we go off script a lot.

Speaker 4 (42:44):
I mean, that's that's because we're comfortable and we want
you guys so feel like we're all friends.

Speaker 1 (42:51):
We're all we are, We're all friends unless you get
weird and then we're not friends anymore.

Speaker 2 (42:55):
Don't get weird.

Speaker 4 (42:56):
Sometimes sometimes we have good, a little bit weird, sometimes weird.

Speaker 2 (42:59):
Don't get weird on sometimes don't get we don't get.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
By episode six, I promise you I will know the
name of this resort and the nightly room rate.

Speaker 2 (43:05):
Okay, I believe you.

Speaker 1 (43:07):
Okay, Uh that's it, everybody, and UH as per usual,
