We are beginning a new sermon series on 1 Corinthians to coincide with our school year theme of "Choosing Unity". You and I both know how polarized our world is right now and how much more fractured it can become in an election season. We have lost the ability to really listen to one another. We take sides. We take positions and, let's be honest, sometimes we forget why. Now more than ever the Church has a responsibility to be bridge builders and peacemakers in our community.
We spend a lot of time and energyu caring for our bodies. Exercise. Club memberships. Spa treatments. Fad diets. Why? Probably because we want to have the healthiest body we can in order to take on all that life has in store. Just like our physical bodies develop, so our spiritual bodies need to be developed as well.
This week, Pastor Karla talks about how develop our spiritual bodies, and more importantly, she poses the questions of what gets in the way of spiritual growth? Has something stunted your growth?
