Join Primal Alchemy's creator and director Chris Storey with guest Dr Tom Mountjoy as they discuss the evolution of human fitness and how by retracing our steps and adopting more primal pattern of movement and exercise can nourish not only the body but also the soul.

On the episode Chris & Tom explore some of Toms early work as a PhD student conducting anthropological research out in the Soloman Islands and how this experience primed him with the philosophical basis he would eventually begin to embody in his physical practice. Tom talks of his ideas on internal awareness, developing an integrative spiritual connection with nature and movement, gaining the ability to find stillness in movement and movement in stillness. Chris and Tom then discuss with each other their experience with plant medicines and the role they play in society but also how they believe they could be of massive impact on the health and fitness industry. Other topics of discussion include; Toms reverence towards the food he consumes and how this effects his nutritional choices, insight into functional range conditioning and how to use social media to connect with and build your tribe.
