Speaker 1 (00:16):
Hello, and welcome to Psychic Teachers. I'm your host Samantha
Fay and I'm Dead Boeck, and today we're exploring the
incredible synergy between crystals in our bodies spiritual energy centers,
the chakras. So if you've ever felt out of sync
or low on energy, or just off chances over one
(00:37):
or more of your chakras might need a little love.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yeah, thank exactly. And crystals, with their unique vibratorial energies
and frequencies, are our pult allies in this journey of clearing, activating,
and aligning these energy hubs. So we're going to be
going through each of the seven main chakras, discussing what
(01:00):
they govern, signs they might be blocked or open, and
the perfect crystals to bring them into balance.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
We're going to sprinkle in some fun crystal tips, some
chakra facts, and even some simple exercises you can try
at home. So let's get started. Get out of pen
and paper if you can.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Now.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
First things first, what are chakras? So, as we mentioned
many times before, the word chakra comes from the Sanskrit
word and means wheel or disk. They are essentially spinning
wheels of energy located along the spine from the base
to the crown of the head, and each chakra corresponds
to different organs, emotional states, psychological aspects, and spiritual qualities.
(01:43):
Think of them like energetic power stations within your body.
When they're open and aligned, energy flows freely, supporting your physical, emotional,
and spiritual well being. But when they become blocked, overactive,
or underactive, it can manifest as imbalances in your life.
(02:04):
And this is where crystals really can come into play
and help us keep these centers balanced. And if you
don't mind dep I just want to read a little
section to everyone from a book I've been rereading. It's
an old book.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
It was published in.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Nineteen eighty nine. It's called The Crystal Heart by doctor Bonowitz,
and it's a really good book with lots of great
factual research on how and why crystals work. But in
the beginning he's talking about this experiment they did using
a device called a mind mirror, and he says it's
a device which measures the brainwave output at a number
(02:41):
of different levels, from the totally conscious to the totally unconscious.
Besides recording the output, the brainwave pattern is displayed in
rows of colored lights. So it's a biofeedback device, right,
and it works to help balance the left and right
hemispheres in the brain. He decided to do this experiment
(03:01):
with this machine, so he writes. In the experiment, the
subject was blindfolded and his ears were plugged to eliminate
as much outside noise as possible. We decided to use
a crystal passed through the chakra points, as it was
suspected that we would see the maximum body response when
crystals were passed through these energy centers. The crystals we
(03:23):
used were quarts, tourmaline and towpaths, and they were taped
to the end of a meter stick so that the
experimenter's hand was nowhere near the body, reducing the likelihood
of any input of his own energy. The subject then
was guided into a state of meditation and the crystals
were passed through the chakra points along the subject's back.
(03:45):
This was done to ensure that there were the minimum
possible audio and visual cues to the subject when the
crystals were actually near his body. They were passed at
a distance of about an inch out to a foot.
In every single instance, when any of the crystals were
passed through the lower three chakras. In particular, there was
an instantaneous flare of brain wave activity in the delta
(04:09):
and Theta levels of activity levels that go from unconscious
to subconscious. This happened with each type of crystal and
at each distance. We felt it significant that the chakras
below the heart, those most directly connected to the energies
of the earth, were the most strongly affected. He says,
(04:30):
I believe there is some intuiting mechanism in the human
body that recognizes and responds to the presence of crystals.
I believe we can say this is a piece of
direct proof of the universal law like attracts like, isn't
that a cool experiment?
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Well, it really is. And you know, it makes me
think about how many times you or I have done
a chakra balancing with crystals on our major chakra P
and how we could just feel a shift going on
in our bodies.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
And if you guys are listening to this and you're like, well,
I don't know if my chakras are open or closed,
or imbalanced or overbalanced, A really good way to start
to work with the chakras is to work on a friend.
Consider trying some of these exercises with a friend that
you can really use a pendulum or holding your hands
about a foot or more over their aura and see
(05:28):
if you can feel or sense or see in your
mind's eye these chakras.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Because sometimes when we're so close.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
To it ourselves, or we're really doubting are there chakras
in my body? It can be more beneficial for you
to be outside of that, connecting to this healing space
as the healer rather than the receiver.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Absolutely, and we'll talk more about that later, but yeah,
pendulum is a really good tool for doing chakra work.
And while there are seven main chakras in our bodies
that we think of on our torso in our head,
some traditions recognize hundreds even thousands of minor chakras all
over the body, in places like your hands and your feet.
(06:12):
Every cell within you vibrates. So our goal today is
to focus on those seven main energy centers and give
you some practical ways to use crystals to encourage optimal
flow of energy through those chakra systems. Let's start with
our root chakra and work our way up. So at
the base of our spine is the root chakra. It's
(06:35):
where the pernee is. It governs our sense of safety, security, grounding, stability,
basic needs, and connection to the earth. It's all this
about survival and feeling rooted. Literally, our root chakra grounds
us to mother Earth, and it's about being home and
(06:56):
secure in our own bodies. So if your root shop
is blocked or under active, you might feel anxious and secure, ungrounded,
financially unstable, having difficulty manifesting, being fearful, or having issues
with your legs and feet. Conversely, if your root chakra
is overactive, it can lead to greed, materialism, aggression, or
(07:23):
being overly rigid. Oh you know something, So if I
think it can be both of those things, Oh sure.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Our chakras fluxtually constantly between being balanced and overly open
and too closed.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
In absolutely, as we're talking about this and kind of
putting these traits in categories, know that it's really fluid
because the movement of the energy of our chakras is
really fluid. So here's some crystals that you can use
to work with your root chakra. Red Jasper, Oh, I
love this. So it's great for this which provides grounding,
(07:55):
stability and inner stry. It's a gentle nurturer that's the
stone in my personal chakra bag.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Me too.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Oh cool, Okay, But you can also use black termaline,
which is excellent for protection, transmuting negative energy, and deep grounding.
Black termaline is like the spiritual bodyguard. Ain't nothing getting
past it. An heematite is also very grounding, but it
helps to absorb negative energy and calm your overactive mind.
(08:26):
So try this. Hold a piece of black urmaline while
visualizing roots growing from your feet, deep deep, deep down
into the earth. Feel yourself being stable and secure. And
of course, another great thing to do is to walk
barefooted outside while holding your crystal. You know, Samantha, I'm
(08:47):
a big proponent of being barefooted all the time, but
me too.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
It definitely helps because we have, as we said, many
many other chakras, and we do have chakras in our feet,
and so that's always a great extras. Now, keep in mind,
we're just mentioning crystals that are fairly easy to find,
not super expensive, So there are many, many, many other
crystals you can use for each of these chakra points.
(09:13):
Red tiger's eye, for example, is great for the root chakra.
If you're feeling kind of dull and like you lost
your spark and you don't really have passion for anything,
you can turn to garn it. So there's a lot
of other stones. We're just trying to pick some general
ones that we think everyone can find. Moving up, we
have the sacral chakra. It's located in the lower abdomen,
(09:34):
about two inches below the navel. The sacral chakra is
in charge of creativity, sexuality, emotions, pleasure, passion, relationships. It
is our center for joy and connection, and it's connected
to the color orange. When this chakra is blocked or underactive,
you might experience emotional numbness or have difficulty experiencing joy.
(09:58):
You might feel that you're just not connected to your creativity,
or maybe you're having difficulty with intimacy, or you have
a low libido.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
You might be.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Experiencing reproductive issues if you're trying to get pregnant. When
this chakra is overactive, it can manifest as emotional dependency,
mood swings, or addictive behaviors. Now, crystals that really help
ground and balance the sacral chakra are Carnelian fantastic crystal ignites, passion, creativity, courage,
(10:31):
and motivation. It is a stone of vitality. And I
know I've said this many times, but I always like
to remind people Carnelian does a lot of stuff. That's
why I call it the cheerleader of the other crystals.
It really does help to cheer you on and remind
you you got this, you can do this. But one
thing it also does is it helps to activate and
cheer on the other.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Crystals around it.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
So that's why I always tell people, if you do
have a little bag of chakra stones or just a
little box where you hold some of your favorite tumbled stones,
always keep a carnelion in there because it'll work to
help keep the other stones around it ready to work with.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
I have this gorgeous piece of carnelion that Joel gave
me years ago that's sitting on my writing table right
this minute, around with a lot of other stones around it.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
To help inspire your creativity. Yep, yep, I love that.
Another great crystal for the sacral chakra is orange calcite.
It's a gentle cleanser. It boosts energy and encourages playfulness
and creativity. And then we have sunstone, which brings so
much joy and light and empowers personal freedom. It really
(11:39):
helps you to radiate warmth and allow more joy into
your life. Now something you can do a little tip
with your sacral chakra. You can place the carnilion on
your lower abdomen during meditation to spark creativity or address
emotional blocks. You can also practice hip opening yoga poses
like pitch or frog. You can also dance. Dancing is
(12:03):
one of the best ways to clear this chakra center.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
I love that. I think that's so much fun. I
have certain songs that when I know I need to
work on creativity, I just dance, I play put them
on the stereo and dance around the kitchen.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
You know I do too. It's always in my kitchen,
and I have a playlist called just Dance.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
What's fun? All right? So moving on up. Let's move
up to the solar plexus chakra, which is found in
the upper abdomen and the stomach area just a little
bit above your belly button. Actually, this yellow chakra governs
our personal power, our will power, self esteem, confidence, courage,
(12:43):
and digestion. It's our inner warrior and the center of
personal identity. Solar plexus is a really important chakra in
many ways, as they all are. But I think of
this a lot, particularly for folks who are working on
psychic or intuitive skills.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
That's a good point because this is the seed of
clear sentience.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
So if you're working on trusting your intuition more, you
definitely want to focus on the solar plexus absolutely so.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
If it's blocked or underactive, you might feel powerless, you
might lack confidence, have low self esteem, you're indecisive, and
you may suffer from digestive problems. Conversely, an overactive solar
plexus can lead you to having a need to control,
to be aggressive, arrogant or perfectionists. Crystals that work for
(13:35):
the solar plexus chakra are citrine, which is also called
the merchant stone. It enhances personal power, abundance, and self confidence.
It's such a sunny, uplifting christ and it is certainly
one that if you are working on issues of feeling
intuitive and confident about financial work, that would be helpful
(13:56):
to you.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
You're as cool about citry is like made. It never
needs to be cleansed because it can't hold on to negativity.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Right, you should have a piece in your wallet, that's.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
True, or your register if you're a business owner.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Okay, so sunstone is another great crystal for the solar plexus.
It's a stone truly of joy and happiness. It helps
you feel more worthy of being able to have joyful experiences.
And then Tiger's eye, which boosts confidence, courage, and your
decision making skills. It's grounding and it helps you to
say things clearly. So you might want to meditate with
(14:34):
citrine on your solar plexus before big presentation or a
difficult conversation to help you boost your confidence.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
And again, you can use a lot of different crystals.
I've used Tiger's eye on the solar plexus if I
really feel like someone is feeling nervous or jittery about
who they are, or just feeling totally unconfident about something
coming up and I'm doing a chakra balance, often I'll
use that golden Tiger's eye on there.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
That's a good idea I think in my chakra bag
at Sitrin.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Citrina is probably the best one for this center, but
there are several others. Moving on to the center of
our being, heart chakra, it's often called the bridge chakra.
It's located in the center of the chest. Now, this
emerald green chakra is connected to love, compassion, forgiveness, joy, empathy,
and emotional healing. It's called the bridge chakra because it
(15:27):
connects our lower chakras, which deal with all the physical stuff.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Am I safe? Am I enough? Am I confident?
Speaker 1 (15:34):
To the upper chakras, which are more about our spiritual health.
If your heart chakra is blocked or under active, you
might be feeling isolated or alone. You might be holding
onto grudges or feel as though you have a difficulty
giving or receiving love, and you may also have some
heart or lung issues. If the heart chakra is overactive,
(15:58):
this can lead to feeling overly sacrificial, like you always
have to put yourself last. It can also show up
as being codependent or overly protective of those you love.
Some great crystals for the heart chakra would of course
be rose coarts. It's the ultimate stone of unconditional love, compassion,
and emotional healing, or green aventurine, which promotes emotional healing, comfort,
(16:24):
and general well being. It's also a stone of luck, opportunity,
and growth. Something you can do is keep a piece
of rose quartz by your bedside or just place it
on your chest to open your heart to self love,
and compassion for others. You could also practice the Loving
Kindness meditation. Just google Loving Kindness Meditation and billion different
(16:45):
copies of that beautiful prayer will pop up for you.
You can place the heart chakra stone on your heart
and visualize that beautiful ribbon of pink and green energy,
just infusing and braiding your heart chakra with love.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
I love that. You know another stone that works so
well for heartwork? Is is it soorzite? Am I saying
it right?
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (17:07):
The green and pink stone. It's a beautiful stone that's
a combination of this lovely soft, mossy green and this
really gentle pink and a nice balance of the heart
colors that work together. Beautiful.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Yeah, that is a fantastic one. It's also called epidote.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
That's a great one, and it's not as hard to
find as you would think.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
No. I found it in a store in rapid City,
South Dakota. Nice, there we go. Okay, let's move on
to the throat chakra, which is located at the base
of the throat. This chakra covers all communication, self expression, truth, authenticity,
and listening. It's about speaking your truth clearly when balanced
(17:49):
and healthy. It radiates a lovely light blue energy. But
when it's blocked or underactive, you might struggle to express yourself,
feel shy, have difficulty saying no, or suffer from throat
and thyroid issues. If this chakra is over stimulated, it
(18:11):
can manifest as excessive talking, gossiping, or being overly critical.
Now we don't mean excessive talking like we do on
this podcast. I just needed to say that.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
No. You know those people who just talk talk, talk, talk,
and they want to fix everything, and they want to
just take over, and they pride themselves on being a
tell it like it is person. There's a balance there sometimes.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
Right, absolutely. Yeah. So here's some stones that can help
you work with your throat chakra. You know, Samantha, this
is probably the chakra I feel the need to work
with the most for me.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Really, because you're so clear audience and this is the
center of clare audience.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
Well, that's why I need to work with a discuss.
I need to work on those skills because you know,
sometimes I may know the words, but it takes a
while for the words to come out, and that's the
words stuff I get that yep, okay, And listening, remember
that's important too. That's a really important piece of this
(19:10):
chakra is being able to shut up and listen, which
is important. Okay, So here are some throat chakra crystals.
Lapis lazuli. It enhances truthful communication, wisdom, and spiritual insight.
Can't imagine not having lapus in my toolbag. Sod like,
which encourages rational thought, objectivity, and verbal expression. It helps
(19:36):
you speak your truth calmly. It's also the stone of
the Krone, and it's a stone of writers as well.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Yeah, it's called the stone of endurance too, because it
really helps you to push through and manifest your goals.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
And then blue lay Sagat, which is I just love
blue lay saggot, and that's in my chakra bag. It's
a very soothing stone that promotes gentle communication, peace and clarity.
I remember a time long ago when I was working
on a writing project and I had gone to a
retreat center for a long weekend to work, and I
(20:14):
left home with a sore throat, and I thought, well, man,
that's telling, isn't it. So of course I had my
chakra bag with me, and when I got into this
retreat center and got settled in, before I did anything else,
I laid down on the bed and I put that
blue lay Sagat on my throat and just did some
(20:34):
meditation and some breathing and really set some really clear intentions,
and within thirty minutes my sore throat was gone and
I was up and writing.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Wow, I love that.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
It's so powerful when you work with Crystal's plus intention
it is. Is it amazing results? Another throat chakra store
and I've been working with a lot lately is blue Appetite?
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Oh? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (21:01):
I think it is such a beautiful, beautiful stone that
isn't talked about enough, but it does a lot. One
of the things that helps with besides throat chakra activation
and healing and clearing, is it really helps if you're
dealing with imposter syndrome like who am I?
Speaker 3 (21:16):
Who am I to be doing this? Saying this? Thinking
I can do this or schedule that.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Blue Appetite is really great to remind you of exactly
who you are and give you the confidence you need
to speak your truth and really clean your right to joy?
Speaker 2 (21:35):
How about that? I was rearranging some stones one day
this week and found a small tumble piece of Blue
Appetite in a bowl and thought, I remember behind that hut.
I don't know where that came from. Now I know
why I have it. Thank you for that.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
Oh, that's really cool.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
So one of the things you can do is weigh
one of these stones like a soda light or a
lapis around your neck, at your throat, a whole one
before it imported conversation or before you're going to write
or do something that's important, and then singing in the
shower and practice vocal toning, write your story, journal, your story,
(22:13):
whatever it is. Actually, this chakra really doesn't invite you
to deeply participate in your connection with the chakra, its energy,
it's intent, and the stones that work with it.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Yeah, and something else you can do. I was just
talking to a friend about this the other night at dinner.
She said, have you ever had a verbal hangover? Have
you ever heard that phrase?
Speaker 2 (22:36):
No?
Speaker 1 (22:37):
I loved that freeze, she said. You know, wouldn't you
just say something when you're out with people and you
wake up the next morning and you're like, why did
I say that? So she calls it a verbal hangover,
and she wanted to say, like what could I do
to work on that? And so one thing you can do,
because that's an example of an overactive throat chakra right
where you just say things without really thinking. So another
(22:58):
thing you can do rather than sharing your story, writing
your story or singing your story, is just really practice
silence and listening. And that's a really good way practice
the power of the pause.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Isn't that important?
Speaker 1 (23:13):
What a great idea and reaching higher? We have the
third eye chakra, which can be found in the center
of the forehead, between and slightly above the eyebrows. This
chakra helps us with our intuition, our psychic abilities, wisdom,
inner vision, clarity, and decision making. It is our center
of insight and it's also the seat of clairvoyance. Its
(23:36):
color is a beautiful, velvety indigo, like a deep blue
going almost into a dark purple. You'll know this chakra
is blocked or underactive when you feel disconnected to your
intuition or struggle with making decisions. You might have a
narrow perspective, you know, like you just can't really understand
people who have different beliefs or opinions than you, or
(23:59):
you might suffer from headaches or eyestrain. Conversely, an overactive
or inflated third eye chakra can lead to delusions hallucinations
or just being really out of touch with reality. Some
great crystals for the third eye chakra are amethysts, which
enhances spiritual awareness, intuition, and calms the mind. It's a
(24:21):
powerful protective stone. It's called the all Healer. It does
so much. We could do a whole show on amethysts,
couldn't we.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
Deb Let's do sometimes because that's a fun thing to
talk about.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
It really is.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Now Lapis lazuli, yes, again, it works great for both
the throat and third eye chakras. It helps to boost
spiritual insight and wisdom. It's also great for dream recall.
Sugarlte is a powerful dreamstone. It enhances spiritual growth and
protects from negative influences. I also love to work with
(24:52):
labradorite for this center. Now, something you can do is
placed an amethyst on your forehead during meditation to open
your intuition and gain clarity on any difficult situations.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
That's a good idea.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Yeah, you can really place any third eye crystal there.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
You know.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
I've told you guys how sometimes I'll get those stretchy
headbands and just put it around my forehead so the
crystal will stay on while I'm meditating.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
I tend to use lapis there. That lapis works for
both the throat chakra and browse chakra, but I tend
to think of it more because I guess because it's darker.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Yes, and it looks like the color of the third
eye chakra.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Yeah, it does, it does, So I use it. That's
where I use it there, And it's so the light's
such a pretty stone. It's soft, really soft, almost kind
of bluish purple. It's just such a pretty color it is,
I know it. Okay. Let's move on to the crown chakra,
which is located at the top of your head. This
chakra governs our spiritual connection, enlightenment, universal consciousness, wisdom, and
(25:55):
divine guidance. It is our connection to the infinite. It's
connected to a violent purple color. When this chakra is blocked,
you might feel disconnected from spirituality, struggle with a lack
of purpose, feel isolated, or have issues with cognitive function.
(26:15):
An over active crown chakra can lead to being overly intellectual,
detached from your body, or have spiritual arrogance. Well that's
a phrase, isn't it. Well with on that too, I know, okay,
but let's not let's talk about some stones for it.
Clear courts. Clearly, here we are at the top. You
(26:37):
need something that's going to connect you to the divine,
and clear courtse is the master healer. It amplifies energy
and thought and helps to align all the chakras. It's
wonderful for spiritual connection to that which is above us. Amethyst,
which is also another versatile stone, enhances spiritual awareness and
(26:58):
connection to higher realms. And Salni beautiful sweet selenite cleanses
purifies and connects us to the angelic realms and to
higher consciousness. It's an incredibly high vibration stone. Here there
is one right here beside my computer, and of course
so many other stones. I mean, these are just a few.
(27:19):
But what's important here is that you think about that
crowned chakra as not only the crowning of all of
the other chakras below it, but it's also it too,
is our bridge chakra in that it bridges between us,
our physicality, and the higher realms. So when you hold
(27:39):
a clear quartz crystal, for example, above your head or
place it on the crown of your head to deepen
your meditation and enhance your spiritual connection, that's going to
happen because the rock is going to help you with that.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Yeah, it really is.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
That is such a powerful thing to do, is just
pleasing those crystals right on the chakra center when you're medita.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
It really can enhance all of this.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
And like you said, there are so many other crystals
you can use for each of these chakras. For the
crown chakra, I like to work with herkimer diamond a
lot or clear dan berite or a clear calcite. So
there's a lot of other great stones.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Well, you know what I do with this. I use
amethyst on my crown chakra and then I put a
clear quartz piece about a foot above me.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Yeah. I like to do that too for the higher eighth.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
Chakra, right exactly, That's what I do.
Speaker 3 (28:32):
That's a great one.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
We're going to talk about what you can actually do
with these crystals, but let's take a very quick break
and we'll be right back. Hey, guys, Deep and I
just wanted to take a moment to thank you for
listening to the show and ask you to share it
with a friend or leave a comment on Spotify or Apple.
It really does help us. You can also show your

Speaker 2 (29:20):
We really do, and I am so excited about this
new book I've written Samantha with Claire Gelder again. It's
called Crafting the Wheel of the Year. And whether you're
a craft or not, you will enjoy the history, lore
and cultural aspects of the eight Celtic Agrariat holidays that
I've written about. And if you are a crafter, you
(29:41):
will love making the seventeen projects that Claire has created
the correspond to the holidays. You can see details about
it again on my website, Deb Bowen dot com and
if you are in countries other than the US, certainly
check out Claire's website Wilcotour Company dot com.
Speaker 3 (29:58):
And I'm excited doing out on that.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Deb is going to be on my other podcast, Enlightened
m Paths so we're really happy to share a beautiful
conversation we have with Denise and deb and myself. Hope
you check it out.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
Okay, let's get started again. So Tamantha tell us about
some of these exercises that we can try. What would
you suggest?
Speaker 1 (30:25):
Okay, So here are some that you can do, and
you can use some of the crystals.
Speaker 3 (30:30):
That we're gonna mention.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
But if you only have clear chords, that's fine. You
don't have to go out and buy all of these crystals.
These are just suggestions. But one thing you can do
is just find a quiet place and lie down comfortably
on your back and then place the crystals gently. Place
the appropriate colored crystal on each of your main chakra points,
so a red or a black stone at the base
(30:52):
of the spine or on top of your pelvis, an
orange stone below the navel, a yellow on your stomach,
green or pink stone on your heart, a light blue
stone on your throat, an indigo stone on your forehead,
and a violet or clear stone on the crown of
your head. Don't worry about being exact. Just get them
close and then breathe and visualize. Close your eyes, take
(31:16):
a few deep breaths inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly, and
then you want to focus on each chakra. So starting
from the root chakra, visualize a spinning wheel of red
light at that location, and as you inhale, imagine that
crystal and fusing bright, pure energy into that chakra, clearing
(31:39):
any blockages. And as you exhale, imagine any stagnation or
darkness leaving your body.
Speaker 3 (31:47):
And then move up.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Doing that same breathing in and exhaling out on each chakra.
You want to spend about a minute or two on
each chakra, moving slowly upwards towards the crew. Now, once
you reach your crown chakra, you want to visualize all
seven chakras spinning brightly and harmoniously, connected by a vibrant
(32:11):
column of light. Feel a sense of balance and well being,
and from here you can play with it, like something
I like to do. First of all, I think it's
important to remember, even though we always describe chakras as
being along the spine, they actually shine within us, in
front of us and behind us. So I always like
(32:33):
to visualize that red light, for example, at my root chakra,
shining down in front of me and behind me, I
visualize the orange chakras spinning in front of me and
shining out behind me. So I think that's important. Once
I get to the crown and I go up to
the higher chakra, like dev was mentioning before, I visualize
a fountain of light coming out of my body and
(32:55):
bubbling around me, encasing me in this rainbow of light
and healing energy.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
Let me add a couple of things to that, Samantha,
because I think this is great. One of the things
that folks may not be aware that there's still such
a thing. But you remember CDs, you know, like music CDs. Yeah,
I still play CDs, and that's how. And you do
with this whatever you all would like. But here's something
that's helpful to me. When I am doing what we
(33:22):
have suggesting here, when I am lying down and I
have put the rocks on my body, I'm just all
by back and I'm breathing. As I start with the
root chakra and I do what we're suggesting, where I
envision it spinning and finding its balance and spinning at
a rate that feels right and comfortable to me. I
(33:44):
envision that chakra that Samantha has just described as being
almost a cone of coming out of the front of
my body and also going out of the back of
my body. I envisioned that cone about the size of
a CD spinning and however you envision it, whether it's
spinning in right to left and as you look down
(34:06):
on it, or right to left or right whatever. What's
important here is that the size and the speed at
which you're asking your chakras to work with you to
find that balance is the same for all of your
chakras as you work your way up your body. And
that has been such a helpful visualization for me.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
That's a great point.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
I like that, you know. I think this is a
beautiful way to tune into your energy body, to use
this connection to the energy field within you and know
that it's connected all through and above and around you,
and to offer thanks, of course to it, and to
remember some logistical pieces to doing this crystal work with
(34:52):
your chakra system. One is remembered to clean your stones
before and after you use them of some cool water,
smudge them in incense or some herb that's indigenous to
your area, and then place them on a selenite slab
for example. Will also help to charge them and clean them.
(35:14):
But it's important that you as you clean them and
give them a break, and you offer gratitude for them
for working with you. And so here's something else you
can do to help activate your third eye chakra. Sit
comfortably with your spine straight, Take your whatever crystal you
choose lapis sugar light, and gently place it on your
(35:36):
forehead between your brows. You may hold it there, where
as Samantha says, use a headband to keep it in place.
Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Feel the energy of
the stone on your forehead. You actually may feel like
a little tingling or some kind of an awareness that
it's really there, and it might get warm. For example.
(35:58):
Then visualize a brilliant indigo or violet light glowing at
your third eye, and as you inhale, feel this light
becoming more and more luminous, like a small sun within
your mind. Breathe into this space of pure awareness. Ask
(36:20):
the question you have been seeking guidance about, and simply
be open to receiving whatever insight comes. Don't force the answer.
Simply listen to the quiet voice within you and allow
your intuition to speak to you through images, feelings, a
deep knowing the crystal acts as a conduit, clarifying the
(36:45):
static so you can hear the signal, and after a
few moments of quiet reflection, say thank you to the
crystal for its assistance in opening up your inner vision.
Say thank you to the chakra for working with you,
and then gently remove the crystal and take a moment
to integrate the experience. You may want to write down
(37:06):
some notes.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
And no Two.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
Sometimes when I've done this exercise, not a darn thing happens,
but I feel, really it's true, But I feel very relaxed,
and i feel very centered, and I'm very grateful for that.
And then a couple of hours later, the answer I
was seeking just pops into my head.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
Or it might come to you like it does for me,
Like the next day you're driving in the car and yeah,
there's the answer of song either.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Right, or you might have a dream that gives you
some illumination. Now, this next one is a great exercise
for the heart chakra, So you want to try and
choose some pink and green stones like watermelon, tormaline or
green avantarine, chrysacola, rose chords, pink damburite, and place the
stone on your heart chakra and close your eyes. As
(37:52):
you bring your awareness to the area around your heart.
Really try and feel the gentle rhythm of your heartbeat.
Visualize a beautiful, soft pink or emerald green light emanating
from your heart center. With each breath, this light grows,
becoming a sphere of unconditional love. Next, think of a
(38:15):
loved one, a family member, a friend, a beloved pet.
Feel the love you have for them, and imagine it
as a warm current flowing from your heart. And then
direct the same feeling of love towards yourself. Take some
time to really acknowledge your own worth and send healing
(38:36):
to any past hurts or self criticism. Imagine the crystal's
loving energy mending these wounds. Finish by sending this loving
energy out into the world. Feel your heart chakra radiating
compassion to all beings, and when you are ready, you
can gently open your eyes and really intense and to
(39:00):
carry this feeling with you all day long. That is
such a beautiful but also a very calming and healing
exercise to try.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
Just as you were telling us, I kind of drifted off.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
I have to tell you, Yeah, It's just a lovely feeling,
isn't it.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
It just it really is.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
Really feel that love and send it out, but also
send it to yourself.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
Absolutely thank you for that one, so our next one
is great. If you need a quick way to cleanse
and line your chakras, sit upright with your feet on
the floor, both of them balanced. Hold a clear quartz
crystal or kayanite in each hand, close your eyes and
take a few deep, centering breaths. Bring your awareness to
(39:46):
the base of your spine and to your feet. Visualize
a deep, vibrant red light. Feel an anchor of energy
extending from your root chakra down through your life legs deep, deep,
deep into the earth under your feet. Feel the stability
and insecurity of the Earth's embrace. Then shift your awareness
(40:12):
to the crown of your head. Visualize a brilliant violet
or white light. Imagine a channel opening from the top
of your head, connecting you to the boundless energy of
the cosmos. Feel this light as pure divine consciousness. Entering
(40:32):
your being inhale deeply, imagining that you are drawing a
cool white light from the sky down through your crown chakra,
filling your entire body through each chakra. As you exhale,
visualize this light which becomes a warm red flowing down
(40:55):
your body and releasing through your root chakra into the earth,
grounding you again repeat this five to seven times in
cycles of breath. Then reverse the flow inhale a red,
nourishing energy from the Earth up through your root chakra,
(41:16):
and as you exhale, send this energy, now illuminous, violent,
up and out through your crown, connecting with the infinite.
Then finished by simply breathing normally feeling a balance flow
between earth and sky within you. You're almost creating a circle
(41:36):
of energy flowing in and flowing out and flowing back
in and flowing out, around and around again.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
Yeah, that's a really important one too, and you can
definitely feel that in your body when you do it.
It's important to remember that this journey of chakra alignment
is ongoing. Our energy centers are constantly influenced by our
emotions or thoughts, ironment, we're in our experiences, So just
remember that your chakras are going to be in alignment
(42:06):
one minute and out of alignment the next. Say, for example,
I don't know get you're going through the mail right.
One of the things that you open is a bill
and it says late you forgot to pay it last month.
Your root chakra is going to instantly just tighten intense up,
going oh crap, how could I have done that? And
you're worried about it as you're flipping through the rest
of the mail and it's spam and it's an advertisement.
(42:28):
And then you get a check from a bank, a
refund you completely forgot about, and you're like, oh, that's good,
and you feel safe and secure again, and your root
chakra's going to open up and realign.
Speaker 3 (42:41):
That's how quick it can happen.
Speaker 1 (42:42):
So I just don't want anyone to listen to this
going oh my gosh, I resonated with that underactive chakra,
this overactive one. Just know that it's a balance and
a flow. But using crystals is such a wonderful way
to actively participate in your own energy health.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
Well, it's true, And don't feel like you need to
have a crystal for every single chakra to start. Just
one or two that resonate with you can make a
big difference. Listen to your intuition about which crystals are
calling you. But I would say that if I just
had to have one rock in my life, it would
be a piece of clearcre me too, that's just me, you.
Speaker 1 (43:24):
Know, No, no, me too, Because it really is everything
in one stone. It really is the most important thing
to remember is your intention. Once you hold your crystal
friend and you state your intention, you've got to just
trust in that energetic connection. So you can't, just, for example,
(43:44):
place a piece of citrine in your wallet and be like, okay.
Speaker 3 (43:48):
Where's the abundance coming? By way?
Speaker 1 (43:51):
You have to actually work with your own intentions, your affirmations,
your thoughts. It's a two way street, like any relationship.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
You speak of the citrine in your wallet because I
do carry satrine with me.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
You know.
Speaker 2 (44:04):
What it helps me do is like, do you really
want to spend that money? Why are you going to
pull out that charge card that fast? So I'm going
for it? Really, that's what Catrine says.
Speaker 3 (44:12):
When you see that in your wallet. Yeah, I get that.
Speaker 2 (44:14):
I do. I mean it's not so much just I'm
going to get rich tomorrow. It's like one of the
ways you get riches. You don't spend money down, you know.
So there's that so anyway, well, who We really hope
that this episode has illuminated for you a path to
greater energetic balance. Remember that a balanced chakra system leads
(44:35):
to a more balanced and vibrant light. You've been listening
to this podcast epist for a while. You've heard me
talk about balancing my chakras in the shower, and I
do that every morning, and then I do these exercises
that we've just been talking about periodically as well. But
it really is, I think, an important thing to connect
(44:56):
to your chakra system because it really becomes kind of
the not kind of it becomes the seat of all
of the intuitive work that you really want to do.
Really does come from this balancing of this energetic field.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
Yes, it does, and it just helps remind us that
we're taking care of our spiritual self as much as
we're working to take care of our physical self, and
that's important.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
Absolutely.
Speaker 3 (45:24):
Thank you guys so much for listening.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
