Speaker 1 (00:09):
Hello, and welcome to Psychic Teachers. I'm your host Samantha Fay.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
And I'm Gab Bowen, and we're.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
So happy to have you join us today. We're talking
about six ways to jump start your intuition. You know,
as we head into the holiday season and now we're
daylight savings and the days are getting shorter, the nights
are getting longer, it's a really good time to kind
of snuggle in and focus on you and your goals

(00:36):
as you wrap up this year and really think about
what can I do for my intuition. I think we
all need a little nudge and a reminder to kickstart
our intuition again, don't you deb Absolutely Okay. So the
first one that we came up with that's going to
be really great at kickstarting your intuition is called falling

(00:57):
in love with your solitude. This is really important because
it allows you to get to know your emotions. This
helps you to understand when a message is coming from
your intuition versus your ego. So it's a good idea
to check in with yourself consistently and ask, are these
my emotions, my fears, my worries. Is this mind to

(01:19):
carry or am I picking up someone else's energy. Sometimes,
especially if you're a strong EmPATH, it can be really
hard to discern what is your stuff and what is
not your stuff. But when you start to practice solitude
and silence within yourself, you will recognize your own energy
and emotions much much better. Setting boundaries is a part

(01:42):
of this. The better you get at setting boundaries with
yourself your time with others, the more easily you'll be
able to develop discernment, which will help you enhance your intuition.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
No is not a dirty word.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
A men, sister. That is true, and that takes practice, though,
especially for people who are uncomfortable with that. As I was,
it took me a long time to learn boundaries, but
it's so important not only for day to day stuff,
but also for psychic protection. True story, spend time in silence,
because this is when your intuition is given the piece

(02:19):
it needs to communicate with us. The more comfortable you
become with silence, the more easily you'll notice those inner messages.
This is something I feel is like a lost art
deb and I'm not like speaking in a teachery mode.
I'm speaking to myself when I say this, Like, do
you ever think about, well, you're good at this, so

(02:41):
I won't even ask you. But I think about how
throughout my day I'm always talking or texting or answering
an email or listening to an audio book, or there's
always noise around me, and it's so important, I think
to carve out that time for silence.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I agree with you, it is hard to do that.
And one of the ways that I've found to be
silent is to use something like sitting by the ocean
and just listening to the sound of the waves until
they even they fade into the background, So spending that
time being still. And I know you're going to talk

(03:17):
about that, but I really do think that that's an
important piece of learning to be in silence.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
I do too.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
You know.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
My friend drove up and down the East Coast and
challenged herself to do it. She did it alone, and
she challenged herself to do it without any radio, any podcast, nothing,
just herself and the road, hour after hour, day after day.
And she said it was hard and enlightening and illuminating

(03:48):
and amazing.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I don't know that I could do that, Oh I can.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
I can't hours in the car without anything to distract
you from the monotony of the road.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Probably yeah. I actually I just took a trip to
my favorite little island and I spent part of that
time just in the car with nothing, no radio, no
music playing. And then while I was on the ferry,
I spent a lot of time looking at it, that water,
and sometime writing.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Yeah, I can do some time in silence. I just mean,
if I'm alone in a car for eight hours, I'm
going to.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Need some music.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
But I think it's great to set those goals for
yourself because when we are able to be silent with ourselves,
it allows those those repressed thoughts, those hidden fears, anxieties,
all the bubble up to the surface so that we
can face them, address them, heal them, shed them. And
when all of that is cleared away, then so many

(04:50):
blocks to your intuition disappear as well. True journal your thoughts.
This is a great way to get to know yourself.
Not only does journaling release and anxiety, it helps us
express our true feelings and learn to be a good
steward of our own thoughts and intuition. Now here's another
tip that I think is really important, and this one

(05:11):
I do do do mindless activities to allow your thoughts
space to wander. Doing mindless activities that are repetitive, like coloring, knitting, walking,
even cleaning the house allows our thoughts to wander and
eventually settle, which gives our intuition the space it needs
to rise to the surface and be heard, seen and recognized.

(05:35):
And of course, trust your gut. When something or someone
feels off, listen to your intuition and follow that instinct.
When face with decisions, pay attention to how you feel
in your body. Notice any physical sensations that accompany certain choices.
A strong positive feeling might indicate alignment with your intuition,

(05:57):
while discomfort can be a signal to reconsider and take
a break from information overload. We are inundated with information
that can drown out our intuition. Reduce the noise by
limiting your consumption of news and social media. Set boundaries
around your digital habits to create more mental space for

(06:19):
your intuitive thoughts, and brace silence and solitude, allowing your
mind to breathe. So that's our first tip for jumpstarting
your intuition is to fall in love with yourself and
your own solitude.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
And then our second tip is to work on raising
your vibration. Every muscle, cell, tissue, and bone in your
body is always in a state of vibration. You can
listen to certain audio frequencies to get your vibration into
a positive state, for example, by neural beats, listening to

(06:57):
sounds of nature, or healing music by composers like Stephen Halpern.
Oh He's wonderful are also recommended. But even just listening
to positive upbeat music itself is helpful. I remember, Samantha
back in the eighties when this whole genre of music
that was called New Age music evolved and it was

(07:18):
just this wonderful music that I think now has sort
of morphed into what we call spa music. But back
in those days there was Stephen Halpern and David Arkinstone
and David Lance and Paul Spear and Yanni and on
and on and on. Joanni.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Oh my gosh, I'm going to so date myself. But
do you remember when Linda Evans started to date him
and everyone was like, what is she doing?

Speaker 2 (07:42):
No, I remember being so jealous because he was so gorgeous.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Well, he was very, very handsome, but that music and
that genre was so fringe back then.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
It was and oh, my golly granty, Jane the palm Reader,
and I just and Joel just just absorbed it, you know.
But in any case, moving on four hundred and forty
hertz dampens the creative mind, keeping the masses calm and
under control. Many say it was the set as the

(08:13):
official scale for modern music, which I don't think I believe.
But anyway, three hundred and ninety six herts helps alleviate guilt,
four hundred and seventeen hertz helps release trauma. Five hundred
and twenty eight herts is the natural frequency of Earth
and is said to help transform DNA. Eight hundred and
fifty two hertz awakens the intuition.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
You know, it's nice. You can just go on YouTube
and search eight hundred and fifty two hertz music and
a bunch of selections will come up.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
It will. And I don't know if people who have
taken certain courses with me over time have We've talked
about how you can work with toning music, toning water
with a tuning fork to c heurts to certain vibration
and then drinking some of that water, and that helps

(09:05):
to raise your vibration. It also is a way of
working with Herkimer diamonds. That is helpful for that. So
there lots of ways of tuning your vibrations to match
the vibratory energies that you want to accomplish in the
world around you. And some people may remember wonderful doctor Emoto,

(09:26):
who is no longer with us, who wrote the book
entitled Hidden Messages in Water. He exposed water to various
ones of these frequencies, then froze the water and took
photos with high powered lenses of those water droplets. What
he found was that water exposed to high frequencies exhibited
these beautiful patterns, and then water exposed to loaf frequencies

(09:51):
like heavy metal music looked polluted and sad. In fact,
some of them weather kind of brown, different colors. If
our body is over seventy percent water, which it is,
then what are the frequencies we listen to? What are
they doing to our bodies? So be aware of your
vibratory rates. Sit in the sun. Not only do you

(10:11):
need vitamin C and vitamin D, but you need fifteen
to twenty minutes of natural sunlight to produce seratonin, which
helps activate the penial gland which needs natural light during
the day and total darkness at night in order to
properly regulate itself. Serotonin, of course, has been shown to
help regulate our mood, behavior, and appetites. Getting enough serotonin

(10:35):
helps reduce the sadness that often comes with the darker
wintry days. I know people who use particular kinds of
sun lamps in the winter to alleviate that sadness syndrome,
and this, of course is important. Do exercise whatever feels
good to you. Walking, yoga, tai chi, just stretching helps
align your vibrations and release endorphins. Go hug somebody. Studies

(11:00):
have shown that when we hug for at least thirty seconds,
all sorts of wonderful and orphans go off in our bodies.
And then spend time in the day doing something just
for you and build that into your schedule. This gives
you something to look forward to, sends a powerful reminder
to yourself that you matter, and it helps you increase

(11:23):
self love. So whatever it is, whatever you do that
is just for you, and it doesn't have to be
very long, but whatever it is, just do it. Obviously,
pay attention to your diet. Notice foods that upset your
stomach and make you feel weighted down and avoid processed
foods as much as possible, and of course, working with

(11:46):
crystals helps to raise your vibration. And we'll talk about
all of that in a little while.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
I was talking to my daughter the other day when
I was driving home from her trip, and she said
we were talking about her aura and vibrations, and she
said she was having like some really weird dreams and
she was like, I think I need to raise my aura.
And I was like, no, no, you need to raise
your vibrations. And she was saying like she didn't understand

(12:11):
the difference between her aura and her vibrations. And I
thought that was really interesting, because you know, she's my
child and I talk about this stuff all the time.
But that I thought, then, I thought, I wonderful. A
lot of people have that question. Your aura is the
energy that you exude and it extends about four to

(12:31):
six feet around you, below you and above your head,
and so it's the energy. It's your vibratory rate, the energy,
your moods, emotions, all of that is contained in the aura.
But your vibration is how all your cells, your emotions,
your tissues, all of that, how the energy is spinning

(12:52):
and so that can be lifted when we're feeling happy,
when we have good sleep, when we look forward to
going to work, when things are hummonious in our relationships,
when we're connected to our passion, when we're tuned into
our intuition. But those vibratory rates can get lowered when
we're worried or overtired, or stressed or hung up on
something that's making us feel stuck, and so all of

(13:15):
that will be projected into the aura. But it's your
aura and your vibratory rate are different.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Your aura's like an energy field around you. It is you,
and in a perfect world and in a perfect day,
you look like a rainbow. But most of us don't
because we have all sorts of other stuff going on,
so we kind of have one color predominant or another
over time.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Do you remember remember our dear friend Annie. Of course,
she had this photo album where she would take the
Kurlian photograph of her aura in the morning and then
she would do an entire day of reiki. So she
did people come in and she would do reiki on them.
She also did reiki facials, which was absolutely heavenly and

(13:57):
at the end of the day of just sitting in
that bureautiful, vibratory, reeky energy. She would have her aura
photo taken again and it would be a rainbow, right,
and she had these all documented in that photo album.
I just thought that was such a cool experiment, you.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Know, when she was doing the aura photography, she had
her store every year for my birthday. That's what I
gave myself for my birthday, was an annual aura photo.
And it was fascinating to see, depending on where I
was in my life and my process, what my aura
looked like. And it was almost always some shades of green,

(14:35):
blues and purples. But I never got the whole rainbow thing,
which I was hoping for, but I never did. But
Annie's was often red. Yeah, because she was such an
energetic person and just exuded all of this creativity.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
It was fascinating, Yeah, and so passionate about sharing it.
So I hope I explained that. Well, so, your vibratory
rate is different than your aura. Your vibratory rate is
reflected and your body, your mind, your soul, your aura.
Your body vibrates, your aura vibrates, and one of the
best ways to really kickstart your intuition is to keep

(15:10):
that vibratory energy up. All right, let's take a quick
break and when we come back we'll finish talking about
ways to jumpstart your intuition. I am so excited that

Speaker 1 (18:14):
We're talking about kickstarting your intuition. Our third tip is
to create a daily ritual. How you begin your morning
sets the tone for the whole day, So try committing
to a daily ritual that helps awaken your intuition. You
could pull a card each day, choose a crystal to
carry with you, go for a morning walk, or you

(18:37):
could try free writing. Some people call these morning pages
from the artist way, and that's just where you let
your thoughts flow without restriction. This practice can uncover patterns
and insights that will help guide your intuition. Of course,
Deb and I recommend meditating for five, ten twenty minutes
in the morning. You could say a prayer for your

(18:59):
loved ones and yourself that everyone feels surrounded by love
today and always. You could do a light worker prayer
for peace and harmony in the world. I know, dev
that's part of your daily ritual.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
It is, and you know, the first thing I do
as I wake up enough to think, okay, I really
do have to get out of this bed, and I
get through with my five more minutes in the bed thing.
But when as my feet are hitting the floor, I
say two words. I say thank you, and by that
I mean thank you for keeping me alive during the night,

(19:38):
thank you for the day that's coming, whatever it may bring.
Just this huge amount of gratitude. That's the first thing
I say. And then I do exactly what you're suggesting.
I do what's called a light worker's prayer, and it
literally is where I bring my fingers together, my tips

(19:58):
of my fingers together, and I imagine that I am
holding the planet in light and other folks around the
planet are doing the same. Thing is you create a
triangle basically, but your thumbs together and your two four
fingers together. So you create this triangle and you envision
that the triangle of your light energy is connecting with

(20:21):
other people all around the planet, holding the planet in
light every day. And the last thing I do before
I go to sleep at night is I say thank
you again.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
I love that, And having any type of ritual like
that really does connect you with yourself. It creates a
touchstone with who you are, our inner compass, and reminds
us that you know, we're more than a little worker
bees just checking off to do list. But it also
lets your team of helpers know that there's space in
your day for them to communicate with you. I mean,

(20:53):
think about if your guides are trying to connect with
you and help you enhance and strengthen your intuition, but
you're just busy all the day, or you've got your
air pods in your ears all the time, or you're
on the phone or checking social media or watching the news,
how are they going to get that message to you.
But when you have a daily ritual that calm, centers
and grounds you and connects you within, it's going to

(21:16):
let them know, Oh, hey, when she's doing her prayers
in the morning, that's a good time to get a
message in there.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Sure. Absolutely, so you knew we were going to be
talking about crystals, right, I mean you know that if
you're going to talk about intuition and being still and
really focusing crystals are a big part of that, at
least for us, and so we want to recommend several
to you. Okay, so let's start with talking about a
lovely stone called zeolite. Meditating with zeolite helps to detoxify

(21:42):
the penial grant gland. When placed on the body while meditating,
it helps clean and remove negative energy. Placed in a room,
zalllite will help absorb stress and tension, which is why
they make great additions to your office, or your kitchen,
or your conference room anywhere people are gathered. Natrolite is

(22:04):
the most powerful variety of zolite for spiritual growth and transformation.
It's one of the best stones to use to open
the third eye. You can wear natural light as jewelry,
or you can simply place a small piece on your
forehead while meditating. It helps increase synchronicities in our lives
and helps us to feel a deeper connection with our

(22:27):
guides and angels. Appetite is also a great crystal to
work with when meditating to open the penal gland. It's
often called a stone of vision and will help you
remember your dreams. Blue appetite will help you stimulate your
third eye and your throat chakra, which is also the
seat of course of clear audience. Clear courts. You know,

(22:50):
clear courts must have of course, it's often called the
master healer, and this is an all purpose stone that
works to enhance clear and away taken your chakras. Clear
courts charges the energy of your other stones and works
tirelessly to help you awaken safely to your abilities. Courts

(23:11):
will focus and amplify any energy, so when you place
your focus on opening to your psychic abilities, clear courts
will enhance the power of your thoughts going out into
the universe. It's like a supercharger. It's like taking a
whisper and turning it into a shout. The universe will
hear you and your intent will be answered. Quartz enhances

(23:35):
your spiritual growth and acts as a teacher for you
on your path. It is a very powerful stone in
terms of psychic protection, wherein clear courts will protect you
from taking on the negativity of others, and it protects
you from negative ill will, envy, and jealousy. And you know,
these days, Samanthabet with so many stones available to us

(23:59):
from all over the world, and each of them sort
of has its role to play and its job to
do in the world. I think clear quartz isn't as
recognized for the hard work that it does and its
consistency in the metaphysical practices with stones as it used

(24:19):
to be. People kind of go, oh yeah, clear course,
all right, whatever, don't do that. If you need one rock,
you need a piece of clear quartz.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
I think I was just thinking we should do a
whole show on clear courts.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
We certainly could, because.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
You have the master crystals, you have the gene Dow
channeler crystal, the Timeline activator crystals, Bridge tabular manifestation cords.
I mean, there's so much to clear courts.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
It's absolutely you know. I have whole book. I mean
I have books on just clear courts. Yeah, okay. Labrodite, oh,
I love that stone. It is a highly protective and
spiritual stone. Will enhance and awaken your psychic abilities while
protecting your aura and shielding it from negative influences. Labrodite

(25:09):
is a great stone for impacts because it protects the
intuitive energy from taking on too much stuff from other people.
If you were harmed in the past life for your
psychic abilities, labrodite heals these fears and allows you to
progress in this lifetime without fear. Labradite is especially helpful

(25:29):
for people who have shut down their intuitive abilities and
now wish to reawaken them. And I think we got
an email not long ago from somebody, maybe it was
on our Facebook page where somebody said they had shut
their abilities down and didn't know now how to reawaken them.
And Labrodite is a stone that will certainly help you
with that.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
Yeah, it's a powerful one and it's a great one
to wear as well because it does help. It's got
that reflective quality, so I always see it works like
a filter, so it allows the good energy in, but
it does help filter and block out the bad stuff.
It's beautiful when the light hits it because it looks
like this kind of boring gray rock. The light hits
it and it's like, whoo, here you are. There's the magic.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Let's talk about amethyst, which is another stone that sometimes
gets shoved in the background and shouldn't be. It is
called the stone of spirituality. Amethyst calms the mind while
allowing the soul to awaken. Amethyst reminds us that we
are one and that as we open to our abilities,

(26:35):
we are helping others to do the same. Amethyst lifts
us to the next level in our spiritual development. Sleeping
with amethysts can encourage astral travel and help you to
remember your dreams. Maybe a piece under your pillow or
on your bedside table. If you have a psychic child
in your home, place a piece of amethyst by their bed.

(26:57):
It will protect them from negative dreams and help them
to understand their abilities with patience and wisdom. Amethyst works
best when it's near your body, so where it is jewelry,
carry a piece with you, or as I said, keep
it by your bedside. Moonstone it is a highly mystical stone.
It helps develop latent psychic abilities that have been shut

(27:20):
down due to fear or misunderstanding. It is believed that
this amazing stone absorbs the power of the moon, so
make sure to cleanse it and charge it in the
light of the full moon. In addition to enhancing your
psychic abilities, moonstone will protect travelers, absorb tension in the home,

(27:41):
and help regulate your body clock. It is also highly
recommended for women going through puberty, pregnancy, or menopause. It
really is such a feminine stone in so many ways.
It lessens moon swings, mood swings, and helps calm caused

(28:01):
by hormonal imbalances. It is a gentle awakener that will
help you accept your psychic abilities. And yeah, the list
goes on and on and on of other stones that
will help you work with awakening your intuition. Some other
great stones are apophylyte, damperte, angelite, and chihonite. Here are all
the heights in there, lots of heites, lots of bites

(28:25):
to ightes, autha r.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
It's hard to pick, like, oh, these stones will help
awaken your intuition, but we tried to choose crystals that
are easy to find, that aren't ridiculously expensive, and that
really do what they say they're going to do in
terms of awakening your intuition. Something I recommend is to
choose a crystal that will be your intuitive development crystal.

(28:51):
So you could pick a clear chords and sit with
it and just visualize light pouring in through your crown
chakra and spilling into your head, necked shoulder, out your arms,
into your palms, into that quartz, so that you're connecting
your energy with that stone and ask it just say
thank you for coming into my life. I intend and

(29:11):
pray and ask that you help me strengthen my intuitive
abilities and help me recognize and release any blocks to
my intuition, and then only use that quartz for that work.
So then you would only hold that stone when you're meditating,
doing your journaling, connecting with your guides. That will start

(29:31):
establishing a relationship and will help uplift your vibrations and
really help you work in alignment with your intuition.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
You know, a thousand years ago when I started this work,
I had one piece of quartz on a chain. That's
all I had, and I ask it to do all
those things that Courtz does, and it did for a
very long time. And as I began to collect other
stones and learn to work with the of other stone people,

(30:02):
and it finally reached a point however, where it just
s broke. It just was like I am tired, I
am I've done all I can do for you. We're
moving on, girl. We did.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Yeah, that stone came into your life for a season
and a reason, but not a lifetime. And that's okay.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
It was a long season. Bless it for being well.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Yes, I'll tell you what I started out with crystals.
I used to read the description of what they could
do and I would get it, and i'd bring it
home and i'd cleanse it and I'd connect with it,
and I kind of like wait, like okay, you know, well,
nothing's happening. And it was only after two weeks or
two months had gone by of working with that crystal

(30:40):
where I was like, oh, that did work. But it's subtle,
wouldn't you agree? It's very subtle the way they work,
almost like an undercurrent of water, you know, like when
the tide'es gently going out, you can barely feel it.
You can just feel this gentle tug at your ankles
when you're in the ocean. It's it's that type of subtleness.
It's happening, it's just kind of under the surface. So

(31:02):
be patient with your crystals and trust that they are
working with you. All right, let's take another our last
quick break, and when we come back, we're going to
talk about how to communicate with your guides to jumpstart
your intuition. Okay, let's talk about our fifth tip to
jumpstarting your intuition, which is communicating with your guides. It's

(31:23):
really important to start a relationship with them and to
know that the more energy and effort and intent you
put into your relationship with your guide. The more you're
going to establish a strong link with them, So consider
creating a dialogue with them, write down or talk about
your problems and worries. Ask them to lead you to people, classes, books,

(31:44):
and mentors that will help you strengthen your intuition. You
can ask specific questions about your life challenges or decisions,
and be patient and attentive, allowing the answers to unfold
in various forms thoughts, feelings, aha, moments, or even through
external signs. After your meditation, and of course, ask your

(32:06):
guides for signs, Choose a sign for your guide and
ask to see it in the next three days. I
know Dev and I have talked about this many many
times on the show, but we believe it's important to
assign a symbol to your guide. So it could be
a yellow butterfly, a red bird, a purple flower, a hawk,

(32:27):
it could be a certain piece of music, and tell
your guide to show you that sign in a way
that you will recognize and remember in.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
The next three days.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
That's a good way to start connecting with them and
to understand how they are connecting with you. We also
often recommend starting a validation journal, and this is where
you write down any signs you got from your guides,
any aha moments, any ideas where you were like that
just dropped into my head. I wonder if that was

(32:59):
from my guide. Write it down in your validation journal.
That will help you understand how your guides are talking
to you. Do a sitting in the power meditation where
you sit in silence and ask your guides to step closer.
This is a really powerful meditation where you are you
are sitting in a very relaxed but upright position. It's

(33:22):
a good idea to start with tensing and releasing all
the muscles in your body, and you're not doing this
meditation to release all thoughts, to have the experience of
no thoughts. The purpose of a sitting in the power
meditation is simply to notice your energy and how you
feel in that moment, sitting in your body. Ask your

(33:46):
guides when you're doing this meditation to come a little
bit closer, because what you're doing is you're asking them
to show you their calling card. So once you recognize
how your energy feels, and then you ask your guide
to step a little bit closer. Notice if you feel
a shift in the energy you might feel a gentle
pressure behind your shoulders or an expansive loving feeling in

(34:09):
your heart. It might be different for everyone, but when
you do this long enough, it usually takes about twenty
to thirty minutes to do a proper sitting in the
power meditation, but you will feel a shift in your energy,
and that's how you'll know to recognize clare sentiently what
it feels like when your guide is near you. Now,
when you do get a sign or a helpful message

(34:31):
from your team, offer up thanks by doing something nice
in their honor. Anything that comes to you. Can make
a donation, could volunteer, you could just tip someone extra
big anything, but just offer it up to them as
a way of giving things. Ask them to connect with
you in your dreams, because, as we know, dreams can

(34:53):
be a rich source of intuitive insight. Keep a dream
journal to record your dreams and analyze any recurring themes
or symbols, and over time you'll start to see that
your dreams provide guidance on issues you're facing, reveal hidden
aspects of your intuition. But also it allows your guides
to communicate with you in a very powerful way. And you, guys,

(35:15):
have heard me say this a ton, but one of
my favorite things to do is to write down a
question for my guide, and I put it on a
piece of paper underneath or inside my pillowcase, and I
will get a dream that gives me answers and insights
into that usually within a week or two.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
It's wonderful. Those are some great suggestions. So we talk
a lot about your third eye and that row chakra,
that space that's just above the top of your nose
between your eyebrows and kind of your finger kind of
automatically goes there. If you put your finger in the
middle of your forehead, you know where it is. This

(35:53):
is a really important process, this opening of your third eye.
So try some of these techniques. Close your eyes and
with your eyes closed, look up at your third eye.
And so what's likely to happen after time and after
you've practiced this a bit is that you will begin

(36:15):
to maybe say images or colors with your eyes closed,
this in your mind's eye, basically write them down, write
down what you see.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
Doing this exercise is a really good way to not
only open your third eye, but to enhance your clairvoyance.
It also gets you into a relaxed state very quickly.
I like to close my eyes and gaze up at
my third eye until I see a blue or purple color.
And once I see that blue or purple color, I

(36:46):
know my third eye is open, and then I can
do my meditation to connect with my guide. Oh okay,
it's really helpful. I know that if I don't for
me personally, if I don't see that purple or blue color,
I'm not in that grounded, centered space where i can
connect with the other side.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
That's not a part of my process, but if it
works for you, other folks should certainly try it. Keep
a dream journal, y'all. And I know that at this
point some of you may be rolling your eyes with
that suggestion, but it really is an important part of
the process. And when you keep that dream journal, the
more you pay attention to and write down even fragments

(37:26):
of what you remember, your subconscious mind really does begin
to work with you at a much deeper and more
consistent level because you have that awareness, and that helps
you to connect to the information that's coming to you
through your third eye. Do yoga. Yoga positions include heroes position, standing,

(37:49):
half child's pose, downward dog, and support its shoulder stand.
Those are particularly helpful for third eye opening work with fragrances,
since such as lab under, frankensense, sage, and sandalwood are recommended.
Gently tap your third eye. I can't tell you how
many times I've done that, and it does help, It

(38:09):
really does. It's like hello, wake up, Hello, can we talk?
Gaze into a candle, Sit in a meditation position and
gaze at a candle flame for several moments, close your
eyes then and recreate the flame's image in your mind.
And I bet folks have tried this for fun. I
bet you that you have sat in a yoga position

(38:30):
in a dark room with a candle lighted, looked into
the flame and kind of raised the flame and made
it taller or made sparks flutter around it. Well, that's
your way of really working with your intuitive ability and
connecting with your third eye to be able to have
that imagery happen. Be an observer. Just pay attention to

(38:55):
the world around you and trust what kind of information.
Do creative activities to activate your right brain right color,
nit crochet, play music, Do something that keeps that right
side of your brain activated. Be consistent with a sleep schedule.
The penial gland is associated with the third eye, and

(39:19):
it's in charge of melatonin, which regulates the sleep cycle.
Sleep in complete darkness, turn off that television set in
your bedroom. Do concentration exercises, for example, count from one
hundred down to zero or from ninety by threes. I'm

(39:40):
not sure I could do that. That's too much like
concentration for math for me.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
But anyway, and there does it does work, It really does.
I've recommended that book so many times, The Power of Concentration,
and he has a ton of exercises like that, and
I forced myself to do it and it was really
really impactful for awakening my third eye.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
Okay, y'all go on with that one. I'm probably not
going to do that one Samantha. And then one more thing.
Play a singing bow or as I suggested earlier, work
with tuning forks that are tuned to four hundred and
thirty two works, and literally just hit them against something

(40:24):
and listen to the sound they make and feel the
vibration of the fork, and that will tell your body
to resonate with that four hundred and thirty two. Hurtz.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
I just wanted to add the author of that book
I recommended. The Power of Concentration is by Theron Q. Dumont,
and it's old. I think it was published in the
early nineteen twenties, so I'm pretty sure you can get
it online, you know, at most bookstores, but I think
you can also get it at archive dot org for free. Okay,

(40:55):
that's where I first read it, and then I had
to get my own copy. But he had just a
ton of exercises in there on how to really enhance
the power of your focused thought, and that's really such
a key to strengthening our intuition. And you know what
else I like to do to awaken my third eye.
I like to lay down. You know. Usually they say

(41:16):
when you meditate, you're supposed to sit up, and I
try to do that from time to time. But I
also like to do meditations when I'm laying down, so
I can work with crystals. And I like to just
put a quartz, usually a clear courtz on my third eye.
And I've noticed when I do that, you will feel
the third eye tingling. Do you ever do that?

Speaker 2 (41:35):
I do?

Speaker 1 (41:36):
I do.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
I use clear quarts, but I also use deeper bluestones
like lapis or so to light.

Speaker 1 (41:46):
We've had a lot of listeners who've had some powerful
intuitive experiences with lapis, especially with intuitive dreams.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
I'm sure, I'm sure it's an amazing stone.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
Yeah, don't you use a tuning fork and you hit
your water glass and.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
Yeah, I have a whole process that are wonderful, friend
Dale taught me. So, I have a particular container that
holds purified water and just a thimbleful of some kind
of alcohol vodka or gin or something like that, clear
clear alcohol that keeps the water from stagnating. I have

(42:24):
purified the water with a Herkimer diamond, and I have
toned the water with a tuning fork, and then pour
it into the container and I drink maybe an ounce
or two every morning of it. And every once in
a while, every day or two, I'll go and tap

(42:45):
the jar with the tuning forth within. And I have
that tuning fork that tunes to four hundred and thirty
two hertz.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
Okay, so this is what I do. It's kind of similar,
but not it is. So I bought the four hundred
and thirty two Hurts tuning for I have a Brita
filter in my refrigerator that holds my water, and I
just put Herkimer Diamond Amethyst rose quarts and clear quarts
in that container, and then I just hit that Brita

(43:15):
filter water thing with the tuning fork.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
Every couple of days that works too, it.

Speaker 1 (43:20):
Does, okay, and then I just you know, drink that
for my water throughout the day. Do you ever close
your eyes and look up to your third eye and
instead of seeing a color, you see an image of
an eye.

Speaker 2 (43:32):
No.

Speaker 1 (43:32):
I've had that happen to me a couple of times.
And sometimes the eye is closed and I feel like
it's a reminder that I need to get back to
daily meditation or I need to cleanse my chakras. But
usually the eye is open, and it's it's kind of
a weird thing. I wonder if other people have experienced that.

Speaker 2 (43:49):
When you're describing that to me, I'm almost saying that
eye of horas.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
Yeah, yeah, but it's not that it's like a it's
like another eye. It's like a woman's eye.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
Oop.

Speaker 1 (44:00):
It's kind of weird. It kind of freaked me out
when it first happened, But I think that does happen
to other people. I'm pretty sure I've read that now
the Yogis have another tip I've read where you can
put your tongue on the roof of your mouth and
kind of put it back as far as you can,
so's it's on the roof of the roof of your mouth,

(44:21):
and then close your eyes and look up and that
is supposed to activate your third eye and your crown chakra.
And it sounds simple, it's actually a little harder than
you think, because you've got to really focus to keep
your tongue up on the roof of your mouth your
eyes closed, but looking up, it's a lot going on.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
Well it is. It's almost like rubbing your belly and
pat and you yeah, okay, alrighty. Then, so what do.

Speaker 1 (44:50):
You think about our six tips to jump start our intuition?
Do you think we covered of it?

Speaker 2 (44:55):
I think we I have And you know, I mean,
we've been doing most of what we're recommending here selves
for many years. This is not new news in terms
of what we have practiced ourselves for a long time.
And I think when it's all said and done, these
are all great tips, and as I say, we've used
them all. But for me, it really is a matter

(45:16):
of sitting down and shutting up. Yeah, because I become
such a human doing during the course of a day,
and I can get very focused on the news and
the this and the that and the other of you know,
and get into routines and ruts that are not necessarily
for my highest good. And so when I can just

(45:37):
be still and look at this list, for example, and say, okay,
dev what are you going to do so that you
make time and space in your day where you can
just pay attention to and in my case, here the
messages that are coming from spirit. And when I can

(45:58):
do that, this little voice in my head says, oh fine,
she has sat down and shut up. Let's talk while
we got a minute, and all they go.

Speaker 1 (46:08):
You know, I do know, yeah, I know. I do
all of these things pretty consistently and pretty well. I
do make time to meditate, and of course I work
with crystals and all of that good stuff. But throughout
my day creating moments of silence. That's what I'm working
on increasing, is I guess what you're saying, sitting down

(46:31):
and shutting up right exactly, having you know, a little
bit of silence with my own good self. So I
think that is really really important because.

Speaker 2 (46:41):
We're just too distracted, and I have a lot of
silence in my day. I don't listen to music when
I'm writing or working or doing I don't. I don't.
I have silence in my day. What I don't have
is silence in my head. Yeah. Yeah, And that's what
I made by sitting down and shutting up. I mean
cutting off the chatter in my head so that other

(47:03):
information can come through it.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
So the only way I can do that effectively is
to do a mindless activity. Like one of the things
I'm always telling students is take a walk with your guide.
And I know that might sound like what, but yeah,
your invisible helper. So I'll go for a walk around
my neighborhood or in my local park, and I'll just
have a conversation in my head with my guide as

(47:28):
I'm doing the first round of the loop, and then
on the way back, I try to just be silent.
And I don't know, I just feel like when your
body is moving, it's easier to have stillness in your thoughts.

Speaker 2 (47:42):
Well, I can see how that would be for you.
For me, music without words, toning, singing bowls, some of
that old New age music that is really really helpful
to me. I call us Nakai's music. His Canyon Trilogy

(48:02):
is absolutely one of my favorite pieces of stillness meditation music.
When I play that kind of music, I don't hear
the music so much consciously anymore, kind of fades into
the background, and that's when there's room for that silence
in my head and other information to come through.

Speaker 1 (48:22):
But do you ever just sit in silence and stillness? Yes,
like where you're not writing?

Speaker 2 (48:31):
Yes, I do. You're just sitting and holding a rock
in my hand? I sure do.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
No, I don't even mean meditating. I mean like, do
you ever just sit and stare out the window?

Speaker 2 (48:42):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (48:43):
Okay, See that's what I don't do. I'm always moving,
do and thinking, and that's what I want to cultivate.
More time to do.

Speaker 2 (48:49):
Oh I would love to go, doesn't it.

Speaker 1 (48:50):
I'm going to put that on my list, my to
do list, do nothing for thirty minutes.

Speaker 2 (48:56):
Do you remember? You may not even you may not
be old enough. Years ago, there was a television show
called Northern Exposure. I remember that, and there was a
woman on the show who was a Native woman from
I guess Alaska's where they were. And sometimes she would
just be sitting someplace, and I remember a particular scene

(49:20):
where one of the people in the cast passed her
and said her name was Marylynd I can remember the
character's name, and said, Marylyn, what are you doing? And
she said sitting? And I remember thinking, what a powerful, simple,
clear answer, sitting. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (49:40):
How often do we do that?

Speaker 2 (49:42):
Well, not as much as I would like to, and
every once in a while, and particularly now, as for example,
as we've done this episode, I think, Okay, I'm going
to write a schedule and I'm going to put it
together and I'm going to behave and I'm gonna do
do do or not do do do some of the
things that we're talking about doing or not do it.
I'll let you know how that goes.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
I'll hold my breath.

Speaker 2 (50:07):
Oh you go ahead with that, but you know, I'm
seriously it really would be I think helpful to me
and maybe to other people too, to say, okay, between
two and two thirty in the afternoon every day, the
world can just go away for a while and I'm
just gonna sit or I'm going to do any one

(50:28):
of these exercises that we have suggested to people and
see how that works. You know, Yeah, I do I
promise you nothing, but I think it's helpful.

Speaker 1 (50:39):
I think you have to like write it down make
it happen, right, So if you commit to that and
put it in the schedule, it's going to happen exactly.
So as we wrap up, it's important to remember that
when we are born, our pineal glands are much larger,
but it begins to shrink when we enter puberty. This
is why children are so tuned in and connected to

(51:00):
their psychic abilities. But if you were to apply some
of these techniques we've mentioned today, it will help your
pineal gland to reawaken and help you truly jumpstart your intuition.
Make sure to get enough sleep each night, practice meditation,
drink plenty of water, enjoy a healthy diet, work with crystals,

(51:20):
and don't forget to eat your dark chocolate. You guys
might remember I took that class with Lloyd Auerbach, who's
considered the what is he He's I think he's the
only American who has his PhD in parapsychology, and he
did a whole lesson one night on studies that have
shown dark chocolate helps awaken your intuition.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
So if you, oh, I should be really whiting what
I should be really awake.

Speaker 1 (51:49):
It has to be like really dark chocolate, though I
think it has to be more than seventy two percent.

Speaker 2 (51:54):
I could do that. Okay.

Speaker 1 (51:56):
Visualize your pineal gland moving from a shriveled raisin shape
to a healthy, round circle in the center of your brain,
and that will help it to become healthier too. And
once you try some or one or all of these suggestions,
you'll be amazed at the effects it'll have on your
life as you start to awaken and strengthen and really

(52:17):
own your hidden superpower, which is your intuition. We hope
you guys enjoyed this show. Have a great week. We
will be back next Sunday. In the meantime, always remember
to be the light for yourself and others.

Speaker 2 (52:34):
