In this episode, John and Katie speak with musician and producer, Jaguar French! They discuss J French's history, music, cannabis culture, cannabis justice and some new projects he's working on in Oklahoma.
Jamal French is an accomplished rapper, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Oklahoma City. J French began rapping when he was 12 years old, composing rhymes as a hobby and discovering his genuine talent.
His first rhyme was written to Devin Tha Dude’s “Don’t Wait.” French, who also plays cornet, piano and drums, has worked with several rappers in the Oklahoma-Texas scene and L.A. scene including Erykah Badu's Official band RC & The Gritz, and members of TDE the label that houses artists Kendrick Lamar, Ab-soul, Isaiah Rashad, and SZA. The son of Grammy-winning reggae percussionist and vocalist Brother Num, is a voting member of the GRAMMYS and hopes to collect one for himself soon.
