Carlos Alonso's sports and entrepreneurial journey began when he was playing professional baseball in the Philadelphia Phillies minor league system. A knee injury in 2015, changed his sports and business path. After his injury, Carlos was involved in a number of different ventures before founding his current business as South Florida's preeminent physical performance trainer.
Known on Instagram and in the community as The Squat Doctor (@squatdoctor) Carlos and I discuss his transition from the professional sports worlds to the business world. We talk about how fear and failure are drivers for success, how to ignore other peoples' limitations, the importance of mentorship and the necessity of social media and branding for businesses in the modern world.
