It is June 9th, 2025 and that Yang energy is coming on pretty
strong. You feel it.

On a personal level, this is a pretty energized, exciting time
for me at least. You know, for me, I have a lot
of the Aries energy in my chart,so I really feel the Aries and

Mars transits. Everyone's a bit different

happened in May and now we've set the stage for the summer.
And this week in this episode we're going to talk about the
weekly energy going on. And really there's only one big
transit this week, 1 big change.So that's nice because we've had
a lot of big change recently andit's a lot to integrate.

So it's nice to have the full moon as a time of culmination,
completion and integration on Tuesday, June 10th.
Really it's like just past midnight Pacific Time.
So it's you could say it's Wednesday, early morning or late
night, but it's coming up early this week, the full moon in
Jesta nakshatra in Scorpio. So I did talk about this on the
(01:26):
monthly overview. But today in this episode, I
just want to go a little deeper into what's going on just this
week and with the Jaish to energy.
That is a good time for any sortof activities that require
responsibility, anything that has to do with protection,
taking care of things around you.
Good time for any sort of research.
(01:47):
So going into understanding, analyzing things.
Jesta is in Scorpio. It's a very spiritual, occult,
mysterious, hidden, transformational kind of energy.
So this is the last week to jointhe Quiet Mind Yoga teacher
training if you want to go deeper in that path.
But it's basically anything likethis.
It's like going deeper into understanding spirituality,
(02:10):
yoga, meditation, philosophy. I've had a lot of big insights
into understanding yoga philosophy on a new level myself
personally, and I share that in the teacher training if you want
to go deeper and all that stuff.But essentially anything that
you want to go deeper and understanding and going into the
secrets and the mysteries of it,doing deep research is very
(02:31):
favorable right now. If there's any serious issues
you need to discuss, this is a favorable time for this.
But as I mentioned, with all theYang energy going on this month,
it can be a bit heated and intense.
So proceed with caution around hot topics and challenging
issues because they can lead to sort of accidents or sudden
(02:54):
dramatic choices. As I talked about with Mars and
K2 being conjunct basically all June, most June, most of July.
So it's a kind of time to just be a bit careful with any high
stress, high conflict situationswhere there's a lot of pressure
and intensity already. But Moon in Scorpio is calling
(03:16):
you towards and it's an invitation towards having those
deeper conversations. But maybe starting on the
internal side of like, what do you need to address?
What is this showing you right? Especially like when you look at
world events and leaders and stuff outside of your control,
it's like one thing to have an opinion or judgment or about all
that external stuff. But I think there's a deeper
(03:38):
level of it of what is it showing you?
What do you see in it? Because everyone who looks at
these external things sees something different.
So that's pretty interesting, right?
So what do you see when you lookat external world events but
also people close to you? Like if there's somebody in your
life that you have a strong reaction to, what is that
showing you? What is that reflecting in
(04:00):
yourself that makes you uncomfortable?
Or maybe it's reflecting something that is very positive
and inspiring and reflecting thelight in you.
But that's a good way of workingwith this Jachta energy, which
could be kind of secretive and mysterious and manipulative on
the dark side. So it could be quite harsh,
(04:22):
cutting, controlling, there could be infidelities, cheating,
hiding secrets, overindulgence. You know, these are all kind of
risks of just because there's probably a lot of sensitivity as
well. With all the Yang energy and the
moon being here now, it's like it's a very sensitive time,
(04:42):
especially depending on your emotions are for women where you
are in your cycle around this time, just to be extra cautious
and intentional because it's a pretty intense energy.
So we want to use it intentionally and direct it
towards the first things I mentioned, deeper growth,
personal research, understandingyourself.
(05:03):
There is a need for some firmness here and again with all
the Yang energy can lead to likeaccidents and big blow UPS,
sometimes literally. But it's something to just be
aware of and intentional about. This week, as I talked about,
Venus is in Aries, Mars rules that, there's this Moon in
(05:27):
Scorpio, Mars rules that. So there's a lot of this Mars
energy being very strong right now and influencing all these
things going on. So we want to be intentional
with it. And Mars likes action and
direction, just like you think of a warrior or an athlete.
Usually an athlete, like a football player is following
(05:48):
everything a coach tells them todo.
So the warrior on the battlefield or the athlete on
the the playing field is following orders from a general.
And that's actually more of a Jupiter energy.
The person who's like deciding what happens, it's more of a
Jupiter energy. So when you are in that mode of
like deciding what you're going to do, planning your week, your
schedule, you're more in the Jupiter energy.
(06:09):
But when you're actually gettingit done, cleaning the house,
doing the chores, doing the errands, doing the tasks,
getting the things done in your work, that's the Mars energy.
And it's very strong this month.So it's an opportunity to get a
lot of stuff done. I've been feeling super
productive over the last couple weeks.
I've shared about that, went through everything in my whole
(06:31):
teacher training and revised it all and it's very inspiring and
very exciting. So you might feel as I'm calling
like that to really deepen, improve everything in a certain
area of your life. But there may be some need to
like put your foot down, have a difficult conversation, say some
emotional truths, but trying to do it in a firm but
(06:54):
compassionate, loving, kind, noncontrolling way.
It's a delicate balance with this, with these energies.
Now, I mentioned things like infidelity, selfishness,
overindulgence that could come up in some form.
Doesn't need to, don't need to be worried about this or
paranoid about it, but it's justthis energy that's here that's a
(07:16):
little bit destructive, transformational.
And again, the positive side of that is like going to a vigorous
workout class or vigorous yoga asana class where you get your
ass on a kicked and you're sweating and you're moving the
energy. And it's actually really good
for these more active kind of things.
It's not as good of a week for like healing, restorative
(07:40):
resting kind of stuff unless youreally need that, you know,
listen to your body and your energy.
You might really need that. But it might be better for as
more active stuff and more closeto home too, and addressing more
home matters rather than more external stuff and things you
can't control, which likely leads to more frustration.
If you focus a lot on things youcan't control and you have no
(08:02):
influence over, it often leads to feeling powerless and
frustrated. So it's an opportunity to look
more within, be more intentionalwith your time and energy.
This week and I will be doing a live yoga class.
We'll do meditation, some movement, some reflection to
work with this energy on the Full Moon S.

energy. But as I've mentioned recently,
the big pieces are in play now for quite a while and those are

picture. And then on these shorter term

the Yang energy is very strong. You're probably seeing it all
around. So it's got to be directed and

otherwise it can be quite destructive.
So use it intentionally, use it for good, use it to build, to
create. Maybe need to tear down and
destroy something that's no longer serving in a healthy way.
Maybe go to a rage room or go buy some cheap ceramics and
destroy them. If you really need to get some
energy out, sometimes that can be quite cathartic, but it's an
(09:28):
active week. Stay active.
Stay in your purpose and your Dharma.

this podcast. There's a lot about the spirit
and energy, but what about the physical body and the breath and
actually directing the mind? And This is why I use the name
Quiet Mind, because in the Yoga Sutra, the very first thing it
says is yoga is the quieting of the mind.
So then the seer can abide in their true nature.

And then we don't get attached to these external things, these
changing things because everything is going to change.
Body's going to change, the mindand emotions constantly
changing. And the more we attach to all
that, the more we suffer. Now ask me how I know.
I'm speaking from experience. I need this too.
I'm the number one student of this stuff, so it's not that
I've transcended this or I'm better than this, but I have
(10:53):
tools that have found very, veryhelpful.
And when these things happen, these tools are super powerful.
So we'll get a lot of experiencewith those tools in the teacher
training and a lot of embodiment, and you'll have
everything you need to teach as well.
And I actually didn't think I'd be a teacher when I did my first
teacher training, but it's a amazing way to learn by trying
(11:15):
to teach it to others. So you will be teaching in the
training. You'll be getting a lot of
experience with real world scenarios based on my many years
of teaching since 2011 of teaching yoga.
