(00:00):
On Friday, June 20th, we have the June solstice of the year,
which is the spiritual energeticmidpoint of the year.
And then July 2nd is actually the calendar middle of the year.
So we are in the middle of 2025,right in the middle, and this is
a good time to pause and reflect.
(00:22):
A lot has probably moved for youthis year.
It's been a big shift in a lot of areas.
We've had transits of all the major movers of changes of
energy through the year and for everybody.
So that's Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and K2 and I've done deeper
episodes on each of those. You want to check the archives
for that and even add some in depth guides for those for free
(00:45):
if you want to get those and have references over the next
year and 18 months within two years with those cycles.
But let's take a moment today inthis episode to just kind of
review what's happened and look back over the year.
I'm Jeremy Devons, This is the Quiet Mind Astrology podcast
where I teach Vedic astrology. If you don't have your free
Vedic birth chart, you can get that on my site, Quiet Mind
(01:06):
astrology.com. And if you want a one to one
reading to look at the next yearfor you and the rest of this
year and from your birthday and the transits and everything on
your chart, you can schedule a reading at Quiet Mind
astrology.com. I have limited space for that
now and for this point of the year because we're going to
start the next class of the betaastrology mentorship in August.
(01:29):
So I'll have space to do readings between June and August
before we start that class. And you can check out the
readings at the website as well.So how's it going for you?
What's been going on in 2025? I know for me it's been a very
transformational year. A lot of growth, a lot of
expansion, a lot of depth, a lotof healing.
(01:52):
How is it for you? I know I've talked about
recently for June, just a lot ofYang energy.
We're seeing that in the news and the media and world events.
A lot of Yang energy with Mars and K2 conjunct from June to
July. Pretty intense stuff going on
globally. Maybe some intense stuff going
on personally as well, dependinghow big of influence Mars and K2
(02:13):
have on your chart. It's going to depend on the
individual a lot too, but you can check that again in your
free birth chart. And if we go back to the
beginning of January or the beginning of the year in
January, the first real big shift of the year came at the
end of January on the 27th when Venus moved into Pisces, its
(02:34):
exaltation point. So that is a very strong
expression of the Venus energy and the Pisces energy.
Now, again, how that exactly expresses depends on the
individual, but on a global sense and for everybody at some
degree, there is this connectionto what really feels most
aligned for you, most spiritually aligned, most
romantically, intimately, sexually and in relationships,
(02:57):
relationally aligned for you. Because Venus and Pisces is
where we bring the most joy and pleasure of what we love.
And this can be in the work thatyou do also in the love of your
work and the love of your relationships.
And this is an opportunity also for a lot of artistic
expression, creativity. This is typically a very
(03:19):
positive energy. And that really carried over to
some degree all the way till theend of May.
So we are still just at the end of that wave of Venus and
Pisces. It started in January.
We had Venus go retrograde as well.
And we had Venus move into Ariesjust recently and that Venus
retrograde started on March 2nd and continued all the way until
(03:44):
April 13th. Venus was in Pisces the whole
time. So it's kind of unusual to have
the retrograde and Venus stay inthe same sign.
And the retrogrades only happened every once every 18
months. So to have this this year is a
pretty big deal and it's a time of going back over unfinished
business and relationships and what you love and all the things
(04:07):
I just talked about with Venus Pisces energies and having to
review those things, having to slow down in those areas.
It's especially with Venus Pisces, it can be quite an
ecstatic or high or elevated experience, very beautiful.
It can be transcendent. And when it's retrograde, it's a
time to slow down. You may have experienced that
throughout March to April to kind of slow down, reassess, re
(04:30):
evaluate things and make sure you're on the right track for
what matters to you in what you love.
Also in March, we had the eclipses.
It's our first eclipse season ofthe year, and that is going to
mirror to some degree what is coming up in the next eclipse
season in September. So there's always some level of
connection between these eclipses and they're like
(04:52):
portals or doorways. I think of them as you go
through the eclipse season and you're a different person and
you've had to make some important life decisions and now
you live with those and in that phase of your life for six
months until the next eclipse season.
So that is basically March to September.
(05:13):
And I talked about that back then in those episodes.
You can check that in the archives, but it's a sort of an
ego death of letting go of an identity in the full moon.
Lunar eclipse in Leo on March 13th and that one actually
happened to watch here in Mexico.
It was a beautiful night. The moon was orange.
(05:33):
And usually I don't try to watchthe eclipses, but I happened to
see that one and it was very beautiful actually and very
special moment. And it's nice to look at that
time around March of what of your identity was shifting, What
were you letting go of and creating space for your soul,
(05:56):
your true self to express in a new way?
Anytime we get too attached to an identity, we suffer and we
have pain. And the true self and the true
essence of who we are is not oneidentity.
It's not one role. It changes.
And the eclipse was a time and opportunity in March to let go
of an old identity, step into a new one.
(06:19):
And also the end of March, we had the new moon solar eclipse
on the 29th. Also Saturn went into Pisces on
that day. So that was the biggest day of
the year. Also seven planets in Pisces.
So again, a lot of transcendent, spiritual, beautiful energies.
A big opportunity to let something go because Pisces is
(06:41):
about release, surrender, letting go, detachment.
So around the end of March, big lessons in what you want to
create structure around Saturn and what you want to let go of
Pisces. And it's this interesting mix of
energies of like finding a new flow and rhythm in your life and
(07:03):
a new level of detachment not tocontrolling, letting go of
identities that no longer serve, stepping into a new identity
without too much rigidity or control.
Basically a lot of letting go ofold structures, systems and ways
of being that don't longer serve.
And the sort of unknown as a bitof a liminal space with Saturn
(07:27):
and Pisces that's actually present from the end of March
for 2 1/2 years because Saturn is in a sign for 2 1/2 years.
So it's a time to not get too rigid, too controlling, too
fixed on. Anyone idea but to be more
structured in your spiritual approach and your connection to
your spiritual path and sort of guidance of your intuition, your
(07:51):
dreams, your spiritual walk, whatever that looks like for
you. And you can look back over just
recent years. So Saturn was in Capricorn, then
Aquarius, now Pisces from 2020 through all the COVID stuff and
all that, the 20/22/23 and Aquarius with all the technology
(08:13):
advancements and now Saturn and Pisces.
It breaks structure, systems, boundaries.
It, it updates things, it renovates things, it releases
old things. So we see that on a global level
with changes, massive changes ingovernments and financial
structures and systems. And now it's sort of an in
between space of like what's going to happen with AI and new
(08:35):
structures and systems and all this stuff.
But on a personal level, it's anopportunity to really look at
yourself in a new light of who you are becoming and not define
not needing to define it too much or control it too much or
be too boxed in here. And any one way that it should
(08:55):
look or however someone else says it should be or someone
else's idea of it, it might not actually fit the need for
fluidity of this transit. And it's an opportunity for
major changes and just trying onnew things, trying on new ways
of being, new identities, and letting go of things that no
(09:16):
longer serve. We also had Mercury go
retrograde in Pisces in March through April.
So just a lot of this Pisces energy, which is can be quite
beautiful and transcendent and beyond what you're familiar with
and changing structures and order in your life.
Then Mercury went direct in April, moving forward with those
(09:37):
things. And then Sun moved into Aries
again, moving forward, taking action, starting to move in this
direction of OK, Pisces has come, let some things go,
redefined your life in a lot of ways.
And now April is like, OK, what are you going to build upon
that? Where are you going to go from
this? And we've been in some energy
kind of like that since April now, more Yang energy sort of
(09:58):
building, creating, starting energy.
Venus has moved into Aries at the end of May beginnings and
relationships, new fresh starts, new perspectives and new a new
chapter in a lot of ways. So the Yang energy could be very
powerful, aggressive, can be dominant and it needs to be
harnessed. So it can be great for working
(10:20):
out, exercise, fitness, health, gaining weight like in a muscle
way, positive way, like buildingmuscle mass.
It's very much a pit to energy. So it's a purification
transformation energy that's still present here in the middle
of June, especially for those ofyou in the Northern hemisphere
(10:40):
where it's the longest day of the year, the Yang energy is
peaking with the the summer solstice and June 20th, those of
you in the Southern hemisphere is the opposite.
So the winter energy is peaking on June 20th in the winter
solstice and the Southern hemisphere.
But either way, it's the sun standing still, the solstice sun
standing still. So it's an opportunity to pause.
(11:03):
And the sun is where you get vitality, energy, creativity,
and your sense of authority. So it's time to pause June 20th
and then start to move into the next phase of the sun cycle, of
the next six months of pausing and reflecting on the past year
spiritually, energetically, emotionally, and then start to
(11:25):
move forward spiritually, energetically, emotionally.
And then the actual calendar midpoint is just a little after
that. But you know, the calendar's
just kind of made-up anyway, so we really have the spiritual
center of the year on the 20th. So it's a great day to pause and
center yourself in some sort of meditative practice and reflect
(11:47):
on the past year. And this could be through
journaling, meditation, something that works for you,
resonates, coaching, life alignment, reading with me, and
Vedic astrology reading. These kind of things are all an
example of just taking a moment to pause and reflect on the
year. So I'm going to share some
things you might want to consider, and if you have the
(12:09):
space, you might want to pause and do some journaling about it
or reflect on it. If you can just listen, that's
fine, but if you want to pause after each one, I'll give a
little space for that. So the first thing to consider
is what were your intentions at the start of 2025?
Sometimes people's pick a word for the year or a theme for the
(12:30):
year. What was your intention?
What were you coming into this year saying?
You know, this might be my intention or the word of the
year or the theme of the year #2What is actually manifested this
year and what fell away #3 what lessons did the eclipse bring
(12:58):
for you in March #4 where have you outgrown old roles,
relationships, beliefs, identities?
That's the K2 and Leo energy we're talking about the the
changing of the identity, the eclipse in Leo.
(13:20):
What old roles, relationships, beliefs, identities have you
outgrown? It's time to let go. #5 What
would feel truly nourishing and supportive in the second-half of
2025? Number six, just check in with
(13:47):
your body. How is your body feeling in this
moment? And #7 how was your heart on a
deeper, more emotional, subtle level as you reflect on this
year, What's it bringing up for you?
How are you feeling? What's in your heart?
(14:12):
So if you have a moment to come back and review those, I highly
encourage it. If you want to share any
insights or thoughts on the comments on Spotify, I'd love to
hear, or the messages on Instagram, you can reach out
there at Quiet Mind Astrology. But yeah, that's the past six
months. And now we've got the next six
months in July, we'll have Mercury go retrograde mid month.
(14:38):
So it's time for more review, slowing down around
communication and business stuff.
We'll have the eclipse season again in September, big portal
of transformation starting a newphase, new 6 month chapter for
you. In October.
We'll have Jupiter go to Cancer. That's going to be a very
beautiful, positive energy, veryharmonious, loving,
(14:58):
affectionate, protective. It's the best place Jupiter can
be. It's just going to be there for
a little bit though this thing this year and then we'll come
back for a full year next June. So that'll be really cool in
2026 in June, but Jupiter and Cancer October to November,
really nice sweet energy towardsthe end of the year.
And then we'll have Jupiter go retrograde at the end of the
(15:21):
year. A little time to slow down
around the expansion and growth and the solstice on December
21st at the end of the year. And of course, we'll have
mindful New Year around that time to plan for the whole next
year. So that's a little preview of
the main stuff coming up in the second-half of the year if you
want to, if you're thinking about planning anything around
(15:41):
any of that could be helpful. And more immediately, we'll have
the new Moon next week. I'll talk about on the next
episode, the New Moon horoscope and Ardra and Gemini on June
25th. It's quite a transformational
renewing kind of energy and can bring a lot of inspiration and
(16:03):
clarity. We'll talk about that soon, but
if you enjoy the podcast, share with a friend, leave a review on
Apple Podcasts and leave a comment on Spotify and you can
follow me on Instagram. You can get a reading with me if
you want to go deeper, more one-on-one how this works for
you and again, of limited availability here.
So if you want to get a reading before August, now is a good
(16:25):
time to book. I'll have availability for that
before the next mentorship classwill start in August.

certified astrologer and learn how to read charts and go super
deep in your own chart, that will be in August with the
mentorship and super fun, super exciting to do that.
