Due luoghi di culto dalla storia millenaria che idealmente incorniciano la figura della Vergine Maria, posta al centro di questo concerto: a parlare è la Donna per antonomasia, la Madre, la Regina, la Soccorritrice, che ha dato alla luce un Dio; la più bella tra tutte le donne. Il concerto propone musiche polifoniche e monodiche di differente provenienza e di vari autori sia nello stile di ampia polifonia, eseguita in San Marco, sia di cromatici melismi bizantini che da secoli hanno fatto eco sotto le cupole di Aghia Sophia.
