It's time to "Check in with Radio Islam Culture Contributor Layla Abdullah-Poulos (L-A-P)." Layla brings us two stories of offense and apology: 1) A reaction video to an African American man being arrested by a B.A.R.T. police officer, for eating a sandwich, posted by a crew of millennial, including comments by Asian rapper Amber Liu who said the AA man deserved it-- followed by her reversal and apology later; 2) a Somali Imam who said that most African Americans (Muslims) were the products of one night stands, and who also later issued an apology. We examine the context of the critiques offered by both individuals, and also the perceived sincerity of both apologies. Guest/Producer-Layla Abdullah-Poulos Host/Producer-Tariq I.
