Un escenario perfecto para este tipo de carreras, debido a la a la altitud por encima de los dos mil metros. Además se cuentan con los grosores suficientes de nieve para garantizar las pruebas en las dos modalidades. La distancia de 30 km y la pruebas más popular de 10 km. En este tipo de carreras es fundamental la prenda elegida como la zapatilla de correr a la cual se le adapta una cadena de nieve.
