Coco Vandeweghe grew up playing every sport her older brother did. But at
13, her Grandfather sat her down and asked her which sport she wanted to
pursue with focus. She chose tennis and turned pro at 16. She learned a lot
of life lessons on (and off) the tennis court. Raised by a single mom, she
shares pearls of wisdom she received from her grandfather, eloquence from
her grandmother and fire and grit from her mother.
At 30 years old, she’s a warrior on the court having been ranked as high as
#9 back in 2018. Then learning how to listen to her body to overcome a
potentially career ending injury.
Coco was a wonderfully insightful guest and a truly inspirational, take no
prisoners, peak performer.
