Time is precious. We’ve heard this a hundred times before, and it still holds so much truth. Time is a resource that we all have, but it runs out. So, in this episode of the Raising Successful Kids Podcast, Irene talks about the importance of time and how you can instil them to your kids. Time management should be taught as early as possible. It’s one of the essential skills that can lead to success. Teach them also, as cliché as it may sound, how to treasure every moment and be grateful of the people they’re with. For sure, success and happiness will just be around the corner if they learn the value of time, so start tuning in to know more. KEY TAKEAWAYS Time is measurable and at the same time, immeasurable. We can easily count it by increments of seconds to days to decades, but there is always the feeling that it’s too fast or too slow, depending on where we use it on. Teach your kids the value of time. Teach them how to use it for the benefit of others and themselves. Be punctual. It’s very advantageous to have this attitude if they want to excel in what they do. Teach your child to be respectful of the schedule and priorities of others. No one ever commends tardiness especially in school and in the work place. Celebrate the wins and treasure each moment you spend with your loved ones. Don’t put any time to waste just by sulking or regretting on an unexpected outcome. BEST MOMENTS "The most important thing that we have and we can never get enough of but all of us want more of is time.” “None of us can escape the passing of time.” “Being on time and being aware of what time is shows that we are taking responsibility.” ABOUT THE HOST Irene Santineer is a working mum of an entrepreneurial child and shares a passion with her husband to see him succeed.
