In today’s episode of Raising Successful Kids Podcast, Irene discusses key points that you need to know to put together your own podcast that your audience with always love to listen to and never get bored of. Irene shares with you tips on content creation, securing guests, advertising your podcast and much more. KEY TAKEAWAYS How to put a podcast together. Content. There are lots of podcasts out there that talk about content. There's lots of marketing podcast that talk about content for your podcasts. You can look on Google and spend hours searching and reading and you'd have loads and loads of information on how you would put together topics to cover for your podcast, but it can be quite daunting when you're thinking what you are going to talk about. The second thing is to invite guests on to your podcast. If you know people who are influential, either in the niche that you're talking about, or you can relate it somehow to your niche or actually could just maybe do a grenade type podcast where they're not related at all, but you actually just want to have them on your podcast because you know it will be a great podcast. So if you've got influential people that you can get hold of that will be happy to talk to you get them on and get them involved. Advertise your podcasts. Make sure that you promote it so that it's going to be put in front of your audience and their audience as well. Ask the right questions. Whoever you have on your podcast whether they're influential people or not doesn't really matter to be perfectly honest. Just think about how you're going to structure your questions to them. Don't ask the obvious questions all the time, especially if it's somebody who has been on lots of different podcasts. Think about different questions, ask either some searching questions or questions that nobody else has asked. Do research. It is also a good idea if you can think about whatever your topic is, whatever your niche is and do some research about that. Read the recent study and then talk about it. Talk about pain points that your audience might be experiencing. Pain points can be hard to talk about but they are really great to address and people really like hearing how you're managing to deal with a particular situation, whatever it might be in your niche. Don’t be scared to address the tough topics, be sensitive to them, be sensitive to your audience but don't shy away from doing it because you're putting your podcast out there to serve people and it might be that that is what you need to talk about a particular given moment because there is somebody who is going to benefit very, very much from what you're saying. If you're looking to have somebody else on your podcast as well as a guest, think about having, rather than a question and answer session, maybe think about having a debate, think about how you can have a topic and you could put that out to a community that you're maybe part of or involved with and say that you're thinking about having a debate on your podcast, might not necessarily be just one session, you can have it may be over two or three podcasts. Ask them what they would like debated and see how you can make that into a successful podcast. Be real. By being real and talking about subjects that other people wouldn't necessarily want to talk about, that helps make you stand out from the crowd. There are plenty of people out there, there are plenty of people who do controversial subjects on their podcast. So don't be afraid to do it. If you're going to monetize your podcast, how you're going to do that. Ultimately that's what everybody seems to want to do and that's not a bad thing. Think about how you can want to monetize your podcast, do some research about it, share that on your podcast, let other people know about it. BEST MOMENTS “Think about what you're going to say to your guests and how you're going to have that conversation so that whoever's listening
