Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back to another episode of the Rant Cafe Anime podcast.
Today we're talking about the fall anime season. We're just
gonna go through any chart or any list, whatever it's called,
and look at like just what's most popular, most anticipating,
and talk about what we're gonna watch this season with me.
Today we have Recon Anime Recun.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
What's up, dude, Hello, it's great to be back.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Rick.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
We're gonna be talking about and hopefully recommending some full
animei anime. Yeah, yeah, it looks pretty dry and popular
at the same time, so we'll seee we.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Got I haven't had a look at it, so this
is kind of a raw reaction for me. We have
Jordan the anime dude, how you doing well?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
What's up? Everybody happy to be here, excited to look
at some seasonals here and uh yeah, I'm gonna be
leaning on you guys a bit. It's kind of raw
for me as well. I've looked at it, but I
haven't watched trailers like I like I normally would.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
So you can always rely on Recon.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Yeah, Recon watches trailers. He watches every seasonal anime. He
is the king of trash taste, but I just want
to say. The plan going forward is this week we're
just gonna look at like the descriptions, what's coming out,
so on and so forth. Next week we're gonna recommend
three anime again and make us watch each like each
other's picks. And then the week after that, we're gonna
watch the first episode of every fall seasonal anime, or

(01:13):
like at least like twenty of them, fifteen to twenty
ideally that's the goal. So start watching them as they
come out. And now, guys and prepare.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
So I watched in an anime once, don't think I won't.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
I'll do it again anyway, boys. One punch Man season
three is the most anticipated, anticipated, most popular on any
chart here, and I'll be honest, I feel like the
hype for One punch Man has fallen off because that's
the break between seasons. People didn't like season two as

(01:46):
much as season one. But I'm a big fan. I
read the manga, I've read the fucking webcomic or webtoon
whatever it's called. I love One punch Man.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Yeah. One punch Man is a weird case because it's
like the number one most popular or like most anticipated,
because people are talking about it, and it's one of
the only ones I've heard about, but not everything that
people are saying is uh is positive in regards to
the trailer, right, we've only really seen like flaps up
to this point. And yeah, uh, it's like mad House
set the stage really high for season one and then

(02:17):
and then from there, I know it keeps getting kind
of passed around and like they're putting more out luckily,
like we're thankful for more, but but it will live
up quality wise, who knows.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Yeah, it's hard to match that the hype of that
first season because the first season focuses a lot on
side Tauma. We have the amazing animation that Matt House
puts in, and then season two and season three are
going to really focus more on side characters and the
world with slightly worse animation, And I could see why
fans are like, wow, we just kind of got clickbaited
in a way. But at the same time, as someone

(02:49):
who's read the manga, I love the side characters and
the world and I'm excited for more. But of course
it would have been cool to have the animation that
Matt How's brought to the table.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Yeah, And I honestly didn't hate season two as much
as most people. A lot of people hated on it
right when it came out, but I waited a while,
I watched it kind of whenever I chose to, and uh,
it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be.
So hopefully it's kind of the same for season three.
And like I said, the trailer didn't look great for
this one, but uh yeah, hopefully it's not too bad.
Hopefully it's passable. The story is always good with One

(03:20):
punch Man?

Speaker 1 (03:21):
What do you think, Ricon?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah, I think it's okay. I'm not really that. I mean,
the hype has definitely died down a lot for One
punch Man, even though it is still popular. You got
two sides, you know, one side is really looking forward
to it and the other side is like, I don't
know about it. I mean, from the trailer looks decent.
I guess you know you got that crappy JC staff animation.

(03:47):
It's no longer Matt howse But what the fuck can
we do? Matt House dropped it for reasons unknown. We
probably know what we probably don't know, but this season
seems to be going to be focusing a lot on
Side characters. As you said, it's gonna be about beating
the shit out of other heroes because they all can't
stand a chance against them. But we already know and
it's pretty much predictable that Siam is going to be

(04:09):
able to beat them up because you know, you could
just punch the shit out of anyone. But yeah, we'll
see focusing a lot more on side characters. You know,
a lot of them didn't get too much spotlight, but
hopefully they will this season. But uh, yeah, we'll see
how it goes. I'm looking forward to this.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
So yeah, someone in chat said money, It's always money,
but I'm surprised, like one pointment when it popped off
in season one was so popular, you think there'd be
a lot of money to be made. And obviously a
lot of times the anime is used to kind of
promote the source material and get that to be sold,
which I'm sure was a great success. That's why I
started reading it. But I wonder why Manhals didn't.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
You you know, Manhouse in general kind of had a
bit of a reputation for like early two thousands, Madhouse
with adapt like the entirety of things, but there for
a while towards the end of their big run, they
would just like adapt like single seasons and like one seasons,
and we would never get like a season two for
a lot of stuff, right, whether that was staffing reasons
or money reasons or otherwise.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
I think it's always somewhat directly related to money, But
I just wonder why, you know. Anyway, let's gotta keep
it moving. We have a lot of anime to go
through today. Let's talk about The Spy Ex Family Season three.
That's the next most.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I'm excited for this one the most for a sequel.
This is one of my almost hyped up anime. It
is so cute, simple, wholesome, slice of life family with
different powers. You got spy action, you got assassination action,
and you got just telepathy and mind thinking from Anya.

(05:44):
It's just gorgeous. I mean, what do you what can
you hate about this? It is just an It's so enjoyable.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
It's just so cute. So it has its cool moments,
but it's just so cute and wholesome. Like I love
the whole family dynamic. I love all three characters or
three main cares.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Yeah, yeah, my family is weird too because I enjoy it,
but probably not as much as most people. Like Season
two had a lot of big actiony climaxes that that
really kind of got you hooked. But like, for me,
the part I enjoy the most is honestly like just
the school arcs when Anya is at school and like
the little shenanigans around that I don't I don't know
why that part makes me laugh. And then uh, it's

(06:25):
there's something about like Your and some of the other
arcs that usually don't hook me quite as much. I
feel like we haven't gotten as much about Your through
the first two seasons as we have about Lloyd Nanya,
so hopefully we delve more into her in season three.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
I agree, let's get some your backstories. I would like
your and our main care what's the guy's name again,
Frick Lloyd Lloyd. I love Your and Lloyd's like kind
of works the cross paths at some point and to
get some reveal because it's that they don't like really
know yet.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
And that's the thing, right is it's like spy Family's
fun and whatnot, but it is kind of repetitive and
that like it doesn't quite move the the main plot.
I guess too much it's usually just kind of one
off type things, so we'll see. I think it has
potential to go places, but but whether it does, I
have no idea.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
I apologize one second. One second, I apologize to the
audio listeners who when I get sub to on twitch
the the I didn't have the sound effect turned off.
I'm gonna turn it off now. You guys can still
subscribe and donate and stuff, but I didn't want it
to pop up. That's my bad. While while you were
you were commenting there, Jordan, it was just reading emotes
out loud, No.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
All good, all good. I was just saying Spy Family,
like I enjoy it and it's cute and whatnot, but
it is usually kind of, uh, like one off type
things that like zoom into their day to day life
and it is just the wholesome slice of life vibes
a lot of times compared to like actually moving the plot, like, uh,
we're having big overarching things that that happen, right. So
I remember the start of season two, like I was

(07:58):
really invested because it seemed like things were coming together.
There was a multi episode arc, and then end of
season two kind of did the same. But most of
the time that's that's not what we get, right.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Yeah, I feel like there's a lot of moments that
I love with spas family, but there are times where
I did find myself bored when like Anya was at school,
Like like I like the whole family dynamic, and when
things are like.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yeah, I said, when she's at school, I get invested.
I'm like, they're playing dodgeball, this is exciting, like like
little things like that.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
I feel like that was like the opposite for me,
Like I wanted Lloyd and your involved, and when they
were involved with Anya Shenanigans, then it kind of worked out.
When it was everything was like intertwining. But when it
was a little bit more isolated at school, I started
to lose interest. But it was still overall like super cute,
super fun. There were certain moments like when Anya was
doing the exam and like or the interview and Lloyd

(08:43):
like punches the table or whatever. There's certain moments that
are just like absolute highlights that I love to death
and I'll never forget and make me have fond memories
of the show. At the very least.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Door versus Lloyd. That was.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
What about the movies, I don't know if I watched
the movie.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yeah, you need to watch the movies. I can't believe
you guys didn't watch the movie because they had a
lot because you're saying, oh, Jordan, you said we didn't
get so much yor and all that. The movies do
have a lot more. Trust me you got you guys
got to watch them.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Yeah that's exciting, man, I'm I am looking forward to it.
Like I said, it's cute, it's wholesome. And the Anya
moments where she's like reading minds and then acting like
really dumb in response to whatever she's reading, it cracks
me up. There is funny stuff there.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
So apparently the movie is not really canon Enemy.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Yeah, it's not canon. It's more of yeah, so we're not.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Gonna get the your we're not gonna get the your
Mac stories that we want.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
You know you're not. But it has a lot of
you know, the same old Shenanigans and all that stuff,
even though it's not canon. But you can watch it
or you don't have to.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
More than backstory, I just feel like she's like the
one of the three that got the least focused and
kind of like Briggs was saying, it'd be really fun
to see their jobs actually overlap a little bit more right,
or like, have something that kind of brings it together
rather than one off here, one off there.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Wow, this this drunk York can kick my ass, but
I have no question about her past.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Exactly.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Anyway, my Hiro Academia final season, I dropped this shit
a long time ago, not saying it's bad. I lost it.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Yeah, dropped it. I can't. I can't with Deku man.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
I really can't enjoy. I haven't watched it. It's just it's.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
One of my least favorite protagonists in the anime industry.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
At least.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
I just can't resonate with him.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
And I don't know.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
At least I.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Wish I could understand why I don't love Decu either.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
I can't have a connection with this guy for some reason.
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
I I like. The thing I like about Decu is that, like,
at least early on people's you know, they hate on him,
saying he was given a strong power and whatnot. But
the kid was in junior high right, and he basically
put his whole anything else in his life on hold
and went on a strict diet, strict workout regimen. He
did that for like a year straight prior to even
getting a chance at the power, right, So, I don't know.

(11:08):
He's a hard working kid. He's a little goofy at times,
but very earnest.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
That's why I enjoy it. That's why I love the
beginning of I love the beginning of MHA when he
was like working out and training and barely able to
use the power. I love that concept. I think it's
more his personality feels very middle of the road, and
a lot of times with anime proteus, you need to
go one extreme or the other, and it just feels
like it's just right down the middle, Like like he

(11:33):
is such an average fucking dude and he's the main character.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
I get what you're saying. At least, I'm kind of
the same way with like Tanji wrote from Demon Slayer,
I'm like, he's a nice guy, but he's like too
much of a nice guy, Like he's just kind of
he's just kind of there, right, Like he's not one
of my favorite was good.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
I like Tanjit.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
He's very wholesome. I don't I would, I feel like
you'd be a cool guy to hang out with, Like
I I like him personally but.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Even though side, even though the side characters and Demon
Slayer slap Tanjito like out of the water, there's so
much better, but Tanjito is still cool.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Ye sorry, go ahead, Yeah, I was justa say. The
way you describe dec you makes me feel like, how
about how I feel about Tanjiro, So I get what
you're saying.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
I feel like they're just they're good people. I think
they're very good individuals. But sometimes a middle of the road,
average good person doesn't make a good anime protagonist. And
don't get me wrong. You want them to have those
morals and the empathy, and you want them to be
like good people, but you also need their personalities to

(12:38):
have some extremes that make you fall in love with them.
I feel like, at least with anime, I don't know
what it is. I feel like it's just like there's
nothing wrong with them. I just like, like we're gonna said,
you don't resonate just the middle of the road, like
I don't like.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
I mean people use I feel you Baka Go should
have been the main character, all right, that's no man.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Now, LaMillion la Million should have been the main character,
and he was because Mario was supposed to get one
for all what things have changed. Imagine if he was
the protagonist, how good would that have been? Because Mirio
as a character, he is so likable, just you know,

(13:25):
the big difference. I don't like that. I love La
Million or Mirio a lot more. Yeah, kind of sucks, man.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
I feel like it's finally wrapping up. Though it started.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
People use mid as an insult, but like it just mid.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Yeah, it's mid. It's pretty much.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
I'm not I've always been more of a reader of
my hero so I still want to finish it up
and finish reading it. But uh, but yeah, maybe one
day I'll get to the final season. Just watch through
the whole, the whole anime.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Anyway. We have two Year Eternity season three, and I
really like the start of two Year Eternity's but I
kind of fell off as time and one.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
It's gotten a bit of a weird treatment in that, uh,
it's gotten like a different studio for each season and
I did I don't know. I had mixed feelings on
season two, but reading it, I enjoyed it. It's the
same author as a silent voice. I love how she
handles like individual characters in their arcs, and the season
three picks off right about where I stopped reading the manga,
So I'm pretty excited for this one. I know the

(14:24):
manga's finished now, so.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Very excited for this one as well. I've watched season
one and two, like, did you lot?

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Did you finish two breaks?

Speaker 2 (14:34):
No?

Speaker 1 (14:34):
I didn't even I don't even think season two.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
Oh okay, season season three would be going into like
a whole new like saga basically right, So it's like,
it's it's really exciting if you are caught up with
the stories where it goes from.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
I don't think I'll be watching To Your Eternity or
m Aha just because I'm not caught up. I will
be watching Family and One punch Man, But if you
guys are watching them or either of them, definitely give
your I'm watching.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
I'm watching to Your Attorney and Spikes, Family and One Punchment,
but not My Hero. I'm done with my hero.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
My Hero I do enjoy, but it has so many seasons.
I'm not catching up anytime soon. I'll be honest.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
I dropped it back in season four or five. I
don't remember.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
I just so, I didn't even watch the overhaul arc.
I think I'm like halfway three season.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Two that was Yeah, that was season four was overhaul?

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Was this season four?

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Maybe season three was like the villain camp at the
first half and then another arc of training it or
exams and whatnot.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
And then uh, I think I dropped that season three,
but I read the manga to overhaul.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
When was that? When was that a season where where
the whole season was like, no fights whatsoever. They're just
at school, playing music and ship and just chilling. What
was that was that season two or four? I don't remember.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Might have been second half of season four. Maybe I
don't know, Canna, Yeah, that was like, no, I'm done.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
That don't make me sad about these anime even and
Demon Slayer. I thin like they just don't know how
to do training arcs anymore. Like the down time before
the ship hits the fan slash after used to be
some of my favorite parts in anime before and after
big arcs, and like, I feel like they just don't
have that anymore.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
That that is my biggest complain about my hero. As
somebody that does enjoy the series, I feel like the
arcs where stuff goes down is are pretty dang good.
And then like every single arc where they're in school
and doing exams and and stuff. All the training arcs
like those are below average, like below part and it's
like a roller coaster right where it like I don't
ever feel the urge to like rewatch any of the
in between stuff, whereas maybe the hype moments. But uh yeah,

(16:40):
it's just it's just kind of up and down with
with my heroes.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Like do that that training arc in a Demon Slayer.
It's everything that I hate about a training arc. It's
just like, I don't know, have you guys watched it yet.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
I watched like the first eight or nine episodes of
Demon Slayer and the and the Train movie. Those are
That's what I've seen, but I have read it all.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
I I just need to watch the new movie that's out,
Infinity Castle.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Dude, you guys remember when fucking Goku and Gohan go
into the Hyperball time Chamber and come out with fucking
golden hair, or like Ichigo. Ichigo would have been like
Mid Soul Society fight Hide Underground, and.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
It was his training arc to fight Seal Man.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
He has to get ready, yeah, or have fucking three days.
He had three days to master Bonki or to achieve
buonki and if he failed his training he would die.
And so with Rukia, like it was just so much
stakes on the line. They have such a limited amount
of time. They're rushing their fucking training and like it's
like the training is life or death. It's not like, oh,

(17:45):
we're gonna train, it's gonna be a hard day. Guys,
we don't know when we're gonna have to fight. We're
not gonna actually reference this training at all in our
actual battles, Like are you fucking kidding me? Ichigo fucking
using his bonchai against oh my god, it's a it's crazy.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
I feel like there was a lot. Maybe it's just
because we've gotten older. I don't know, but I do
feel like there's the training arcs a little bit better.
Narato had some really good ones, uh like like him
getting kidnapped mid training arc and stuff, or like attempted
kidnapping mid training arc and stuff. Always like kind of
went down, but they would still find a way to
put like clever training in there.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
It's a don't I don't think one Piece has like
those training arcs that I absolutely love, But even one
Piece when like Lufy during a Wano was like fucking
in the prison training or like little training like or
like training with Rayley, Like there's cool ways of doing training.
And I don't even know what the hell you guys

(18:43):
are talking about right what we're talking about. I don't
know if I would even like say that one piece
is a good example. But like having the stakes being
mid arc and doing some training is like, what is
something that I love? It's like they're gonna use this
power that they achieve to fight the incoming enemy that
we all know that he's about the fucking fight Kaido

(19:03):
and he's gonna have to use this new ability or
same with with each ego on on the on the
Soul Society arc. Oh, man, I can talk about training forever.
I'm actually just trying to think of other training arcs.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Naruto Naruto pre Pain like that was that was pretty fun,
like right before the Pain fight.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Uh, come and talk about some tournament arcs, man, they
were better than the training arcs, But.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
You gotta blend that. You gotta blend the two training
leading up to the tournament arcs.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Like you fairy tale tournament arcs.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Those were good, fairy.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Like even the anime.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
I love that or newer like j j K and
stuff like, they don't have those same type of Yeah, man,
I feel you. It's like it's a lost start. It's
a lost start.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
I feel like the training and Demon Slayer early on
was not bad. I will want to take it back.
When they did the Hashy Road training, I didn't like it.
But when they they the early training arcs and Demon
Slayer prior to him becoming whatever the fucking he is
a Demon Slayer, I think some of those were good.
So I do want to give it credit where it's
to due. But anyway, let's continue. My friend's little Sister

(20:12):
has it in for Me is a crazy title. It
is the fifth both popular, which I think it's gonna
be downhill from here. Boys up already.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
This this looks like the animal on.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
This. This one is cute. It's a rom com with
game development involved in it. It's like a guy who's
like he he knows he's not gonna get any you know,
dating or girls, but but from experience he knows that
when a girl teases you, they're supposed to they're supposed
to like you. But from experience, he knows that's not

(20:46):
gonna happen. So he does like game development and ship
and it involves like rom com. It sounds pretty.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Sort fucking plot summary. I've ever heard Jordan.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
He's kind of on point. He's kind of on point.
I have seen this light novel cover go around a lot.
You know, it's beaty ones, but I've heard it involve
some funny rom com shenanigans, and that it has like
that software development side where it has like creative aspects
that they're exploring, which I enjoy. So I enjoy it
when characters, you know, are in game development writing some

(21:18):
type of creation thing.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Right, So fine, I'll watch one episode. Fine.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
I mean, the trailer looks cute. The trailer looks cute.
It's not mind bloring anything.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
Like you said. After this, it's probably downhill. This is
probably the peak of the season right here.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
No, no, no, trust me, trust me. We'rey about to
go to the next one. The next one right now
is going to be hyped.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
The next cab Fire, the sequel though, Campfire Cooking in
Another World with my I can't believe it's got a
season two.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
Let's go, let's go, let's go. It's been so long, finally, so.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
I feel like it hasn't been that long. Also, Oh,
I've been waiting fucking nineteen years for No Game, No
Life into bro.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
It's not gonna happen. Forget about it. It's not gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Meanwhile, we get Camfire cooking in Another World with my
aub third skill, which I will say I actually didn't
like super popular. I actually super popular.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
This one super popular. So many people are very excited
to hype for the second seed to for this one.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
I know we mentioned money earlier in regards to Mad House,
but No Game, No Life was the example that came
to mind whenever I said, like creative stuff, because I
know there was some stuff with like the director and
she's not there anymore. Like that was one of the
things that she kind of brought together with with with
Mad House was No Game, No Life, And they have
that first season and then the author like apparently traced
some stuff. So it's like always weird political stuff in

(22:42):
that regard that like sometimes keeps a good season two
from happening.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
And they also it's a fucking they achieved their goal.
I went out and bought every single light novel for
No Game, No Life after watching that season and continued
to buy them when they came out and read them,
and they achieved. They achieved their fucking goal with the anime.
And it was even the ending of season one. It
was like they skipped ahead to make a cool ending,

(23:06):
as if they knew they were never going to make
a second season because that they didn't make Game No.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Life Zero, which was a movie which I thought was
really good. Like I said, it was one of those
EARLYI that was very unique in its concept, received a
high quality adaptation, and then a lot of people loved
and it was popular. So like the fact that it
didn't get a second season. But it is this cafire
cooking did. Yeah, it's criminal, it's criminalized, smart smartphone.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
Getting a second season actually makes you want to give
up on That's the one that makes you want to
jump in lava. Minecraft, make you want to stop watching anime,
and makes me want to fucking if three floors high enough?

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Okay, what listen Briggs, come on, This is not a
generic as a kai. Yes, it's an is a guy,
but it's got It's all about cooking food, which you
could just relax. Don't watch this without an empty stomach.
By the way, I just watched a protagonist with his
opie absurd skills makes the most super the most super

(24:01):
delicious food in another world. And he has the overpowered
wolf named Fenrier, and he attracts all these customers and
he just buys shit online, Like what can't you love
about this? It's cool?

Speaker 3 (24:12):
No, who else has absurd skills? All right? Soma from
Food Wars, I'd rather watch that.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
I don't. I mean, Food Wars is infinitely better, but
I will say cooking was. I did actually like campfire
cooking in another world. I just hate every time I
hear the word absurd skill in another world. I just
want to stop all that description sucked. Greek on, I
love you, lets love it. Let's let's move on. May

(24:41):
I ask for one final thing? We got an action comedy.
I don't know what's it about.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Guys, So this one is very interesting. She got a protagonist.
Her name is Scarlet and she has endured so much
bullying from her fiance named Kyle, and during the ball,
Kyle has has announced that he is going to cancel
the wedding. Cancel the marriage. She is disowned and everyone

(25:10):
is now against her. So Scarlett now she is out
for revenge. She asks for one final thing from her
fiance Kyle, and to give him a good old smack
to the face and she's gonna beat the shit out
of him.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Yeah, all right, that sounds kind that's interesting.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
It's a betrayal. It's a betrayal revenge series because you know,
he betrayed her. He caused her a lot of issues
during childhood and shit like that upon growing up to
getting to almost getting married. But he like, I'm done
with you, girl.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
I will watch one episode of this and give it
a chance, and we'll see. We'll see you recode.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
I'll try one episode. I didn't really like the aesthetic
of the main picture, Like it looks like one of
those villainous type things. But she has a cool pose.
She has like blood on her face.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
She is a badass female pretionanist. Something I could really like.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
All right, This next one actually seems intriguing. This next
one is called this Monster Wants to Eat Me, And
I believe it's like a mermaid emerges and like becomes
a high school girl, but like also wants to like
fucking I don't, I don't know, I don't. I don't
really fully understand what this is about. Is it gonna
be yawi, I mean yuri yawi whatever.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
It's a no, no, no, it's it's a horror series. Okay,
it's like it's like, it's like about this mermaid and
she becomes a high schooler.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
And she in this descriptions, sorry, it's a yuri.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
It looks like it's a mermaid becomes a high schooler
and she wants to eat people.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Okay, yeah, it could be a yuri. Sounds like it.
I don't know. There's something about it that looks like it.
But maybe it's not. Maybe it's just a drama horror anyway.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
Like one of those synopsis is that you're like only
an anime.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
So yeah, you know, I thought to please, I've come
to eat you so softly, so softly, utters the mermaids Yori.
Yet she emerges from the sea and takes high school girl.
He not go by the hand. He lives alone in
a town by the sea and possesses an unusually delicious body.
This is a jury, dude.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
This is yeah, this is definitely a ury.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Is this It might be based on the way that
that synopsis looks like the way it's written, you can
just tell.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Maybe they're clickbaiting with the uh with the I'm.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Watching the trailer, right, I'm watching the trailer. Yeah, it's
a uri. They're getting face to face. They're going face
to face, So yeah, it is a.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
You know what, all right, I'm sold, I'm in all right.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
The next one, my status is an assassin obviously exceeds
the heroes. I've actually what I've actually kind of I'm
actually kind of excited for.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
So this one is about an entire class getting summoned
to the world by the king, and they each got
status abilities and shit like that in different classes and whatnot.
But the main character brings you know how special protagonists
are because he got overpowered status from the get go

(28:27):
as an assassin, and his power level already exceeds the
hero of this world over nine thousand.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Yeah, I know that's what it's gonna be. I know
that's what it's gonna be. But once you describe it,
like he automatically starts with stats that are better than everyone.
He doesn't have to work for it. He's just better
than the hero. He's the he's gonna one shot the
demon king, blah blah blah, flex on everyone. Get all
the girls like the second I hear that, I don't
want to watch it anymore. But there is something I'm

(28:54):
genuine I'm serious.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
This is the way I explained. It is the way
that how it's gonna go okay, But.

Speaker 3 (28:59):
There is something I used to be on your side, Breaks,
used to be on.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
But the cool thing is the king that summoned the
classroom to this world is actually the main villain all along,
but the but the class doesn't realize that yet.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
Well, why would you spoil?

Speaker 3 (29:17):
That might even be in the synopsis.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Because it's in the synopsis in the trailer. Yeah, you'll
find out, probably an episode one.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
But I used to agree with you on that Breaks, Like,
you know, we want to expect something deeper, some some progression,
some training, some difficulty. But despite that, the people always
use the word cliche, so negatively, all right, he's over
powered sky cliches. They could be kind of fun. They
can be kind of fun. That's why we see a

(29:47):
lot of them. Right, So I usually don't watch all
of it, but I think.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
It could be fun in this case because he's like
taking the assassin Coirk or whatever or trait. So it's
like he's gonna go about things maybe fertently. I would
hope he goes about things differently than the typical Oh,
I'm the hero of this world, now that he's exceeding
the hero in like a maybe a less glamorous way
or with a different style, and I do like that concept.

(30:14):
I don't like the fact that fucking Recondo spoiled something
for me.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
But other than that, Okay, maybe I shouldn't have said that,
but it's kind of already told in the synopsis. But anyways,
it doesn't matter. At the very least. It's getting animated
by Sunrise and they're a pretty good studio for animation quality.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
All right. Next anime Ronmo one and a half. I'm
not gonna watch it, even though I did like the.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
First time Ramo was pretty good. It doesn't really have
much of a story. It's just all Shenanigan's very similar
to Urdusai Yatsuda, that very good anime, very good anime
as well. It's kind of the same thing.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
I like season one. I'm just it's just not for me,
Like I've I watch it. It's good, it's just am
I gonna watch more of it? Not really?

Speaker 3 (30:57):
It's so long too, Like I I watched the original.
I didn't watch the first season by Nappa, but like
watching the original, I was enjoying it. I had fun
with it. But by like mid season two, you're like
all right, Like I get it, it's going to be
more of the same for another couple hundred episodes or
whatever it is, which is very long runnings anyway.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
The next one is called Disney Twisted Wonderland the animation
season one episode of Hearts Labilly.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
I don't know, I know, I know, you guys are
really gonna like this. It's an isachai, but it is different.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
So boys are too pretty for me.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
Listen. This one blends in things that you already know
Harry Potter and also Disney references, because literally this anime
takes place and none other than Hogwarts the Castle, the
actual castle.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
That's crazy preppy.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Sure this is a yawi. I'm pretty sure it's not.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
It's an isaki.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
So I'm looking at the I'm looking at the picture.
Tell me this isn't a yawi, all right.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
So trust me. No, No, this is not a yawie.
I've seen the trailer and all that stuff. It looks
super goo good. So you got the protagonist he gets
run over by a carriage and is immediately transported to
another world. But that poor that that world is all
wands and magic. It's Harry Potter mixed in with Disney
references and ship like that.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
But it's probably a Yaoi I just looked it up.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
Definitely a Yawi has the boys love tag.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
Yeah, I'm fucking protagonist is not overpowered. In fact, he
doesn't even have any powers at all. He can magic and.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
All that haven't seen before either. Fun we watched too
much anime. The fact that he's getting summoned into a
world with magic and not having magic powers has become
like a trope now is crazy? Yeah, between the head Mass, the.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
One the nights Clover, they keep going.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
What was the other one? You?

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (32:51):
Recently a night he would go into the dungeon to
like get points, but everyone had magic and he had.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
A I forgot.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
You made me watch it recently, reclainik God, God damn it,
I forgot.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
There is so much anime very similar.

Speaker 1 (33:07):
I like that show too, I didn't finish it anyways.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
Uh, so he can't use magic, so the head master
was like, how the fuck did a human being with
no magic get to this academy, So instead of instead
of doing bad things to him, he's gonna be doing
chores around the castle until the headmaster figures out a
way to send him back home. And in the and
in there, while he's doing his chores, he's gonna learn
a lot more about this world, the people and all

(33:33):
that stuff. And they're gonna throw in some Disney references
like the Lion King and all that shit.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
It's Yowi kingdom hearts where they're doing chores. Is that
the Is that the synopsis you just gave? Are you
trying to sell it to me?

Speaker 1 (33:46):
Or no? You know what?

Speaker 2 (33:48):
You know what Jordan will go with yours? You are
with what you said. It's a yowie Disney Harry Potter
all that. Yeah, we'll go with that. Okay, let's move on.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
Sanda is actually what I'm looking forward to. The story
starts with Sonda, a second year middle school student, getting
attacked with a kitchen knife. It's a mystery drama. I've
heard decent things about this, but I actually don't know
much about it.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
Is it Santo or Sanda Sonda?

Speaker 2 (34:17):
But it's it's it does involve jacked up Santa Claus.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
That's another thing I saw I always picture of Santa
Claus being Jacks, So you know, I'm all in this.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
It's by Science Saru, which they did Donda Don and
they're known for doing a lot of crazy Shannigan ship,
so yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
I will say, oh, this is kind of secondhand info,
Like I haven't like right up on this a ton myself,
but I did hear like or Science Saru was like
bought out, so like a lot of people that did
like early season one of like Donda Daan and like
the ones that started the studio were like they all
left or got fired. So I don't know what to
expect from them going forward, but the name Science Syru

(34:57):
doesn't get me as excited as I did.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
True, you know what, Don Don and other anime that
they're doing are still coming out and still having high
quality to it.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
So yeah, I think a lot of Season two is
probably done in tandem with season one for Donna on
or like uh maybe part one part two, just because
it looked like one season, right, and I'm assuming that's
why they had to split it into two. Was h
was like the acquisition and all this stuff going on
there got it.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
I will say, though, as much as I haven't even
watched the trailer. I've heard about this anime and I've
heard some interesting things about it. I thought, like a
picture of a Jack Santa Claus as well, which automatically
catches my attention. I hear.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
That's what I'm saying. You had me at Jack Santa Claus.
You don't have to add more to it. I am
in episode.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
I wish I knew more about it. I just know
that people are excited for it and it looks cool,
so I'm excited for it as well.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
The trailer is filled with crazy shenanigans, Like it's like,
what the hell is even happening? That's pretty much what
is going to happen in the show, So prep yourselves
for the craziest show of the season.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
I go, all right, another wrong com coming up here?
We got is the Ramune Bottle.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
I've read. I read the first light novel of this series,
so I always read like the first volume just to
check things out. So main character is really popular, you know,
he's one of those men or like popular dudes that's
kind of attractive. So I didn't find it relatable. Uh yeah,
that's why I dropped it. So very unrelatable series. You know,
you like popular main characters that actually have get along

(36:29):
with people, are sociable. That might be for you, but
but I prefer my my Kurri toes, my my average
guy that that's just a gamer.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Okay, you know he does look like.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
I always look like.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
The next anime is Wan Downce actually buy Studio Madhouse.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
Yeah, this is a This one looks really cool. This
is my anime of the season predictions.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Who I bet you this is gonna have sea yea
as well.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
It does have some for the dancing. But I did
see the trailer to this one. It looks really good,
so I'm excited. It's like a I don't know, just
dancing in general, when when done well in anime be fine.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
Have you seen some recently? I've seen the Yeah, I've
seen some dancing anime shows recently, the ice skating one
that was pretty good.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
It's a dude.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
I am looking down a little bit right now and
this title has caught my attention. I can'tnot read it immediately.
My gift level I limited, gotcha backstad in the Backwater Dungeon.
I'm out for revenge.

Speaker 3 (37:42):
I right before the podcast this one too.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
I can't wait, can't wait.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
This is This is probably the most generic anime.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
It's gonna be so good, dude, I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
I say that I couldn't finish the first though I
read half first of all, even this one.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
So does this have the this is one of the
longest titles.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
My goodness, I can't not watch anime with that cringe
ass name. Oh my god, I don't think.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
It's any like classic light novel. They should say that.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
The characters live there.

Speaker 1 (38:18):
Okay, we're at the part of the episode where I
think we scroll through and you guys bring up any
ones that you want us to watch that we should
be watching, because there's no way I'm watching fucking Bookie, Yo,
Nas and Pie and Dusk Beyond the End of the
World unless you guys say I'm watching or Tales of
the Wedding Rings. I'm not watching this ship unless you
guys are bound to watch it, like I'm at my

(38:40):
limit already. Guys will be watching fucking Gotcha unlimited for sure.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
I have two more I want to talk about, one
for positive reasons and one for for negative reasons. You'll
want to go going. So there's a new digimon that's
always exciting. I'm a digit.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
Beat break by Toll. Oh my god, it just looks hype.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
I like Digimon. What can I say? I'm a very
simple man. I see Digimon, I click, I watch at
least a little bit.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
So the fuck Kingdom sixth season is still coming out.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
Damn, they're still making Kingdom.

Speaker 3 (39:16):
I want to read Kingdom at some point. But I've
never heard anybody talking about the anime.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
I'm not even I haven't even seen the anime yet,
the most highly.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
Acclaimed manga, and then there's six seasons of the anime
that nobody ever talks about. Now it's still saying, oh yeah.
The other one I wanted to talk about for slightly
more negative reasons because I saw the trailer on on
Twitter was with you our Leve will make it through?
Oh the furry anime that it was so wild and

(39:46):
out there. I just figured out, at least bring it up.

Speaker 2 (39:48):
So what's the which one?

Speaker 3 (39:51):
It's like down one into the right of of Digimon.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
With You Our Leve will make it through? All the
love this one?

Speaker 2 (40:00):
It is by Studio Millepin, and.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
I just wanted to bring up this show jo one
and say I'm not watching the first episode, I refuse.
You guys can if you want, but.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
Oh, you're bringing it up, by the way, not to watch. Okay,
there's one anime that I'm gonna watch this space off
the title and I'm hoping it does like a little
underdog story type thing. So the banished court magician aims
to become the strongest. This party does not need a
useless magician who can only use support magic.

Speaker 2 (40:34):
You are because you already know stories like this. Kicked
from the heroes party. Guess what? He turns out to
be Sayer powered exactly.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
Okay, But what does he do to become overpowered? Is
the question? Does he wake up one day and realize
if I use my powers like this, I could be
fucking god. They didn't see my abilities, they didn't use
me properly, they mistreated me. Or does he fucking train?
Does he start dungeon grow? Didn't.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
But you already know stories like this when it involves
somebody kidding kicked out of the party. Dude, I was like, oh,
you can support magic, but he's ope.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
I will repeat you know how. It's not I It's
not that I dislike overpowered protagonists. I just think they
need to do something to earn their way to get there,
or like that cute or be funny as fuck. They
either need to be funny as fuck or do something
to work they way to get there. This generic like
generically badass characters bother me unless you're like really if

(41:34):
you're like really cool, like super bad ass, maybe you can. Jordan,
you're fucking killing me, dude, all right, you know what
I'm saying, Like, like, you know, like a character like
Sinmad for example, like his aura, even without having watched
his backstory and his prequel anime, I would be like,

(41:55):
he has the aura and the badassery to be overpowered
without me knowing why. But like a random fucking black haired,
skinny dude with like I got reincarnated yesterday, but also
I'm already better than the fucking hero of this world.
Let's go kill the demon king. All the bitches love me,
drive me crazy.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
You say that, you say that we sleep on anime
like that, and then suddenly recond will recommend my instant
aftability is overpowered. Uh and boom, So exactly like that
was decent.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
That was the worst anime. That was good, That was
genuinely it goes. Smartphone is Sakai as my first worst,
and then that was my second worst. And they're like
neck and neck.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
Man, you're really harsh on the animes.

Speaker 1 (42:40):
It was pretty good, it was not pretty good.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
Well, you don't like the sound of an unstoppable broken protagonist.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
I just know I'm a very broken person, Like there's
something wrong with me, because I usually don't enjoy these
anime but I'll sit there and it's like junk food
that you know you shouldn't need, and you don't even
really like the taste of it. You keep watching it anyways.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
Right, you can. You can just do so much. You
can do so much speculations with the protagonist of manes
and death ability, like he can beat sight someone, he
can beat Goku, he can be anyone with his instant
death ability. No one can stop him.

Speaker 1 (43:14):
The more you talk, the moreh.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
Never mind, Okay, let's just move on. There is an
anime I I want to recommend you guys.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
Okay, it is.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
It is a slightly a little bit more below, but
it's called Tojima wants to be a Common Rider by
Light in Films. And this one is looking very good.

Speaker 1 (43:38):
This it looks very cool. Actually, this is a Superhero
series forty year old man, I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (43:46):
As a young as a young child, he always wanted
to or he had this dream of wanting to become
a superhero known as a common Rider, but he couldn't
really do it. And now, as a forty year old man,
that dream of his still lives on and he finally
wants to take that leap and try it. But the
thing is, he doesn't have any superpowers or anything. So
he just puts on a mask and plays pretend to
be hero at forty years old and tries to save people,

(44:09):
but he runs into issues. He doesn't have any powers,
so he gets beat up until the real heroes come
to save him and he wants to join them. But
how is he gonna do that is the question? Does
he have potential? Are they going to recruit him? We
don't know.

Speaker 1 (44:25):
I'm excited that sound of cool.

Speaker 3 (44:28):
That actually does sound kind of cool. Recon just sold
me on an anime. Verbally, I don't know if this
has ever happened before.

Speaker 2 (44:35):
No, genuinely, I really like the trailer.

Speaker 1 (44:37):
I'm to look very very very bottom of the list,
and is something called Monster Strike Dead Verse reloaded? Why
are people not excited for this.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
Monster strike.

Speaker 1 (44:46):
You said, he's a very very bottom of the list.
It's crazy, how low I am?

Speaker 3 (44:49):
Oh, is it a movie or no?

Speaker 2 (44:52):
Oba, it's it's it's it's an actual show. I think
I think this is a video game. It is it
is a video game.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
Okay, that's right. Why hmm?

Speaker 2 (45:03):
So yeah, it's not nothing too crazy here.

Speaker 1 (45:07):
Nothing else is really catching my attention. Chat you guys
could leave comments both on the YouTube channel now that
they were uploading these, and on Spotify movies. On Spotify,
leave comments as to what you want us to watch
if we have missed any of the of your favorites,
and we'll try watch it.

Speaker 2 (45:22):
Go down to the go down to the own a
specials that we missed stuff.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
Yeah. I was about to say that's all the way
at the very bottom, like Cat's Eye is getting an adaptation.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
I just realized we are getting a sequel to this
one breaks. Remember that that one show that was called
Let This Grieving Soul Retire. Yeah, it's getting a second season.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
Did I like that? I can't remember if I liked
it or not. I think you did.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
It's about that, it's about the leader of the strongest guild.
Everyone thinks he's so overpowered, but he's just a puny
weakling hiding behind us. So I love that one. That
was so stupid.

Speaker 1 (45:58):
I liked it a lot.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
He's hiding behind his friends and everyone thinks that he's
overpowered when he's doing nothing at all.

Speaker 3 (46:05):
That was I can't believe I forgot about this one,
But sorry, boys, I just got really excited. Totsky Fujimoto
is getting like his anthologies adapted. I don't know who
this guy sucked off in the anime industry, but like
he got good Bye Airy, he got a man, and
now he's getting like all these short stories just adapted
all at once, there towards the very bottom. So that's exciting.

(46:27):
Totsky Fujimoto seventeen through.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
Twenty six Wait, un dead, unluck. Yeah, it's like a
one hour so much adapts the Winter arc? Interesting?

Speaker 1 (46:37):
Cool?

Speaker 2 (46:40):
When is that gonna air.

Speaker 1 (46:44):
In twenty twenty five?

Speaker 2 (46:47):
Five?

Speaker 3 (46:48):
One hour or one?

Speaker 1 (46:49):
At some point, at some point in time, a wild
Last Boss appears.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
This is a reincarnation. The first episode aired yesday and
I watched it really good. Let me explain. Let me
explain with my generic descriptions, and hopefully it doesn't sound
too bad. But you got a guy. He's been playing
his MMO and his character was the one and only Lufus,

(47:20):
who is the Great Demon Lord or whatever, the leader,
and he gets so once he was beaten in the
actual video game. Okay, he decides to close the game,
but then he gets a notification on the screen and
he accepts and he gets reincarnated into his avatar of Lufus,
and he's overpowered from the get going. He's gonna conquer

(47:42):
this world. But the only thing is he doesn't have
any supportings or anything because her defeat two hundred years
ago kind of, you know, broke the ties between all
of her and the support and so he's gonna try
and get them back to conquer this world.

Speaker 1 (47:58):
Revolutionary.

Speaker 3 (47:59):
Yeah, so it's like Overlord, but but solo or something.

Speaker 2 (48:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:03):
Yeah, yeah, I'm down to watch it as much as
I'm joking around, I'm down to watch it.

Speaker 3 (48:08):
That's the thing. Breaks These things always sound pretty bad
in a way, but I'm always down to watch at
least a few episodes. Right, It's like you, I never know.

Speaker 1 (48:18):
There is I do that sometimes too. There's anime that
like are so mid that I watch like three episodes
of on stream and I really don't plan on watching
time on stream watching anymore, but like that'll be like
my laundry anime that I throw on the TV if
I miss an episode or two or fall asleep. It's
not the end of the world.

Speaker 3 (48:33):
It's like a palate cleanser, right, Like it makes you
appreciate when you do really like anime. Outside of that,
it's it's it's necessary in a way.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
So ok. And the final anime I wanted to talk
about was another one that came out recently. The first
episode aired three days ago. It's called a Hero without
a Class who even needs skills? Wow, my god. So
this is by one of the worst animated studios, Studio Acat.
You know, the people behind the world, the beginning after

(49:05):
the end. Unfortunately it ended before it even began. But anyways,
that one is about Errol. He is the son of
the Sword Princess and also the arc mage named Leo,
and at a certain age, these children would have to
undergo a ritual and then receive their ultimate class. So Errol,

(49:27):
everyone is talking about him. He's the talk of the town, like, oh,
he's gonna get one of the best classes because he's
the son of two amazing people. Guess what he got?

Speaker 3 (49:37):
What?

Speaker 2 (49:39):
Just just take a good guess nothing? No class, no class?

Speaker 3 (49:47):
How is he gonna?

Speaker 1 (49:49):
I zoned out? Mid summary? There, I zoned out so
hard descriptions of other anime. And I'm gonna be honest.
That was very easy to guess.

Speaker 3 (49:58):
Yeah, pretty much, I was.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
He gets eaten. Now listen, listen, listen, listen. He gets
no class.

Speaker 3 (50:05):
But guess what he's actually brings overpowered? Yeah, oh my god,
no way, Sorry, I've spoiled it. Don't hate spoilers, hate spoilers.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
I can't watch it now. Oh my god, I can't
watch it now. Damn, little miss vampire can't suck right,
we gotta watch that.

Speaker 2 (50:27):
What did you get that from?

Speaker 1 (50:29):
That's on. I'm scrolling, guys, I'm fucking scrolling mysterious vampire. Okay,
the dark and Mysterious Vampire.

Speaker 3 (50:38):
Oh show.

Speaker 1 (50:38):
She'd like her new classmates to believe the truth is well,
she may be one of Okay, I can't read you, guys,
very cold blood suckers. She really can't live up to
the hype. Okay, very Actually like this might be cute.
I might watch it.

Speaker 2 (50:54):
Very strange title.

Speaker 3 (50:56):
I appreciate the word playing the title though, or like
the the inn window there, that's probably misleading in a ways.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
Anyway, guys, that's what we're gonna watch. I guess how
many anime do you think?

Speaker 2 (51:10):
That is? One?

Speaker 3 (51:11):
Two, three, at least forty.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
Four or five, six, seven, eight nine. Oh, I mean
I'm gonna one last around twelve anime, around twelve anime.

Speaker 3 (51:25):
So okay. So I haven't give you guys watch the
Girls Band Cry yet because we recon hates. So I
haven't made you guys watch Girls Band Cry yet because
recon hates Girls Band anime and stuff. But it's one
of my favorite anime in recent recent years, and it
just got a new movie announced, so I think that'll
be maybe in this upcoming season, it looks like. So
I'm really excited about that.

Speaker 1 (51:46):
That's cool, So you want to just recommend us to watch.
By the way, guys, we're gonna go into the recommendations
now for what we're watching for next week, because obviously
not all these are gonna air perfectly in time, so
we're gonna do that in two weeks from now. What
did we recommend? It was Garrans Anime? What was that
called oh bomb, yeah, bomb, you right, I recommend.

Speaker 3 (52:08):
Mm hmm, and Jordan's uh so I did, I said
Bond I think yeah, yeah, Bond face.

Speaker 2 (52:17):
People said, hell you said face day night Briggs, and
I said, strike the blood.

Speaker 1 (52:22):
Yeah, I'm it's like just giving a refresher for chat. Well,
we have that posted somewhere on our discord. We're just
doing a little recap. Also at some point, Jordan, I
do want to watch Beck. You know, I still never
watched back, and I know that's like one of your favorite.

Speaker 3 (52:35):
Yeah, that's what I recommend that at some point. Well,
I've read it twice. I love Beck so much. But
like I was going down the musical rabbit hole and
like I recommend it pull of those and you guys
were like, we cut it out. Jordan's so we took
a little break there. But yeah, but I've seen a
lot of music anime. I'll have to recommend that at
some point.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
And don't forget guys, make sure to download DC Dark
Legion and reach the goals to support Briggs.

Speaker 1 (53:00):
Thank you. The sponsor ends in les four hours, so
no one's going to hear that.

Speaker 3 (53:05):
But but even if that's not the sponsor, always go
check out the current sponsor.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
By the time this is uploaded on rank fa, YouTube
and Spotify, I will probably have a different sponsor lined up,
maybe hopefully. But on that note, shimp poop and I
will see you guys all next time.

Speaker 2 (53:25):
