It’s another loose one this week, folks, as the golf content machine wasn’t firing on all cylinders this week. As usual, we break down the few headlines we did have, including Mike Weir taking home his first career Champions Tour victory at the Insperity Invitational. We also discuss Sam Burns’ win at the Valspar, LPGA results from Shanghai, and Rickie’s special invitation to the upcoming PGA Championship.
As we head into May we are also approaching the delayed start to golf season here in Ontario. Brent and John have been putting in some work this offseason to improve their games, so we discuss what they’ve been doing and how they can implement it on the course.
Books discussed were “Dave Pelz’s Putting Bible,” “Dave Pelz’s Short Game Bible,” and “Harvey Penick’s Little Red Book,” (all highly recommended by Ready Golf!).
Check back next week as we break down the results from a loaded field at the Wells Fargo Championship, recap some Walker Cup action, and set the stage for the following week’s PGA Championship
