Toni-Ann (00:01):
So there is one app
that I absolutely cannot live
without, and that app is Trello.
It has saved me so much time, helped me stay organized and
stay sane.
And I want to share with you howit has done that for me.
Hey there.
My name is Toni Anne.
I am the podcast host of theReal Happy Mom podcast.
(00:24):
The podcast for busy workingmoms who need help with gaining
more time and achieving theirbig goals without pulling their
hair out.
And in this episode, I'm goingto be sharing with you how
Trello has helped me stayorganized and sane.
So I have been talking aboutcello in the past few episodes
(00:44):
and that is just because Ireally want you to find a way to
help you stay organizedelectronically.
Yes, having your paper planneris awesome.
Don't get me wrong.
I still use a paper planner butthere's something about having
something electronically to getyou organized and to help you
stay on track that really takesthings to another level.
(01:08):
I, I know that even right now, Iknow your phone is in close
reach, and I know that I use myphone quite a bit, and having
something like Trello to helpyou with knowing what's going
on, when you need to get taskscompleted by, and even breaking
down steps can really help youwith staying organized and
focusing on the things thatactually matter.
(01:32):
So, I have been using Trello fora couple of years now, and
before I even got started withit, Honestly, I had a hard time
getting adjusted to how Trelloworks.
Initially, I just couldn't getmy brain to, to grasp how to use
it.
And it wasn't until I startedusing some templates that the
(01:53):
light bulbs started to go off.
And I could see exactly how Icould use it.
Use Trello to map out differentprojects, different tasks that I
needed to get done.
And especially for planning bigevents, it was super, super
helpful.
Having Trello to map outeverything helps me to stay
(02:15):
super organized.
So there's never anything thatgets left unattended.
So in a previous episode, Italked to you about how I was.
Planning out a retirementceremony, when I tell you every
single detail was on that Trelloboard, I mean every little
thing.
Everything was on thereincluding names, contacts,
(02:37):
dates, documents were attached, everything was on this board so
that I knew exactly what to doand when to have it done by.
So one of the things that Imentioned before that is really
helpful is having pre builttemplates and there are several
templates that I have that candefinitely help you out with
(03:00):
that.
But having these templates isreally a game changer because It
will allow you to save timebecause things are already
pretty much built out for you.
All you have to do is go in andcustomize things so you can
literally start using Trellowithin just a few minutes.
The other thing with Trello isthat you can create several
(03:23):
different boards to map outdifferent things and different
Processes that you have goingon.
So for instance, I have multipledifferent boards to help me with
multiple different thingsincluding planning out my meals
A cleaning calendar, even thingsfor Real Happy Mom, including
the content calendar, which I'vetalked about before, even a
board to plan out my summit thatwill be coming out in February.
(03:46):
All of these different thingshave different boards.
And I know sometimes justlooking at things, you'll be
like, well, how do I know if Ineed another board?
You'll know if you need anotherboard.
If you have like multipleprocesses going on or if it's a
big project that you just wantto focus on one thing.
So having the different boardshas definitely kept me organized
(04:07):
and given me the peace of mindbecause I know where everything
is and where everything isgoing.
And for a limited time, I have apack of Trello boards inside of
the Home Management TrelloTastic Power Pack.
This power pack has fivedifferent Trello boards that are
going to help you with managingyour home.
In addition, there are sometutorials that are going to show
(04:29):
you exactly how to use Trello ifyou've never used it before.
So I want you to try it out seehow you are liking Trello
because I know it can take alittle minute But I know that
you'll love it once you startusing these templates So go
ahead and grab the templates bygoing over to realhappymom.
com slash home That'srealhappymom.
