122 RealTalk session with Tookie: We’ve been taught right but, the wrong way!

This podcast journey has been something I never imagined. I’ve met people who have influenced and impacted my life in ways I can’t explain. That’s why I remain humble and continue to serve my community being an outlet to allow others to Be Better Than They Were Yesterday. My guest tonight falls under that same mentality. I met Tookie at an event “Up from Falling Testimonies of the Ex Offender” hosted by Minister Christopher Tate & Friendship Church Outreach Ministries. Men got the opportunity to reflect and share their life experiences it was a powerful day. Tookie and I exchange information to connect later at some point to just chop it up. That time has come and I’m extremely proud of this man and his journey. He never gave up on himself and always gave himself a fighting chance to win! I’m humbled to hear him tell me he respects what I’m doing and in the same regard I totally respect what’s he’s gone through and what he’s doing today.
