Dating today can be challenging. We were all raised differently, and individuals govern their lives based on the their morals and values. Many of us are set in our ways or dealing with past traumatic unresolved issues, which frequently can hinder us from communicating and meshing with others. Dating starts with compatibility, physical appearance, and attraction. We are usually drawn to the opposite sex's appearance, physical features, and personality. Though we are attracted to the outer appearance, men and women are not always compatible. Relationships are, in fact, built on a variety of things, including trust, communication, physical attraction, preferences, and what we bring to the table. Those factors do not always equal compatibility. In the infamous words of Alicia Keys, “Some people think that the physical things define what's within.” That couldn’t be further from the truth.
