to stuff like that.
Don't come for me, buthonestly, like F the timeline.

put your best foot forward for 2025

(00:48):

turned my world upside down.

(01:30):
Hey, hey, welcome back to rebuilding you.
I'm Christina, your mentor, podcasthost, and your comeback cheerleader.
Can you believe that we arewrapping up another year?
Like what the hell?
I was talking to somebody over onInstagram and we were sharing how it just
didn't even feel like Christmas this year.

(01:52):
Time is just moving so, so fast.
I polled the audience also abouthow everybody's feeling about the new
year and here's what you all said.
So 33 percent of you areclaiming, this is my year.
29 percent of you said you're kind ofnervy, but you don't know what to expect.

(02:16):
10 percent of you said, Meh, it'sjust another year, 29 percent
of you I've got goals, but Ineed some help believing in me.
Thank you so much , for voting andcollab with me over on stories.
I absolutely love ourcommunity over there.

(02:36):
And so if you're not joiningus over on Instagram, you can
follow me at her heart heals.
So once I.
Got all the results in.
I just knew that I had toshare what I've personally been
doing to prep for the new year.
And let me tell you, there are zerocommitments to starting a workout routine.

(03:01):
January 1st, you're like, what how can you be a coach?
How can you be a mentor?
You're supposed to bedoing all the things.
There are no commitments.
to stuff like that.
At least not yet.
Don't come for me, buthonestly, like F the timeline.
The time isn't going to getyou to where you want to go.

(03:24):
And how do I know this?
Because if we look at the patterns, right?
That is my jam.
I absolutely love looking at patterns.
We start to see like January1st, what's the pattern?
Everybody signs up for a gym membership.
Everybody decides thatthey're going to go on a diet.
They commit to all of these thingsof like how they're going to

(03:46):
drastically change their life.
But by February statisticsshow guys, this isn't just
me saying this half will stop.
So the patterning is showing us Thatit's not about the actual doing.
So what actually gets peopleto where they want to go?

(04:10):
It's the energy, it's the plantingthe seeds, if you will, in order to get
the thing or the life that we want, thecomeback life that we always talk about.
We have to make energetic moves.
We have to prepare to be ready to handle.

(04:32):
The things that come with the life's thatwe want the things that we want, right?
So this is why For January 1st.
I don't like to really Do physicalgoals and we're gonna get into that
in this episode But I actually believethat January 1st is for planting seeds

(04:53):
and it's more about gentle actionsAnd i'm going to share My methods that
everything that I am doing to Prepareand we're going to get you ready too.
So there are six reflective sections, topics, and within each one, I'm
going to give you journal prompts andactivities that you can do to start

(05:18):
to reflect so that you can cultivateall of your intentions and really
put your best foot forward for 2025.
Make sure to listen all the way throughand if you're listening while walking
or driving, it's totally fine take itall in start to think about things and
then come back and replay the episodewhen you have time to write it down if

(05:42):
you're not driving and you are divingright in I want you to grab your favorite
notebook Your go to pen, maybe a cozyblanket and a cup of something warm.
I've got my Coffee here, which canwe talk about this for a second?
I shared over on my stories thatfor the last eight years i've been
using A 30 espresso maker from mr.

(06:06):
Coffee Shout out, mr.
Coffee holding it down for me I actuallyborrowed that espresso machine from
a roommate when I first got divorcedand I couldn't really afford much.
And he let me borrow hiscoffee maker and then when he
moved, he just let me keep it.
And I've always had the intention ofgetting a La Marzocco espresso machine.

(06:31):
Machine, they're like six thousanddollars they're just so beautiful
if you go to any coffee shop that hasa la marzocco machine you can't go
wrong like there is no messing it up.
You will have the most excellent cupof coffee So whenever i'm traveling
or i'm in a new area and I want togo get coffee I will always look for

(06:55):
coffee shops that have that machinebecause that's how I know it's
going to be It's going to be good.
Like nothing is worsethan paying 8 on a coffee.
That is like subpar, right?
It's the absolute worst.
You take one sip and youjust go and throw it away.
So I always do myself a solid.
If you look for a shop that hasa La Marzocco machine, trust,

(07:17):
and then send me a message andtell me like, thank me later.
Cause it's the best, but anyway.
I finally invested in an upgraded machine.
I did not get the La Marzocco, but truthfully it's because it
takes skill in learning how tooperate one of those machines.
And I frankly don't have the timeor capacity to do that right now.

(07:38):
So I bought.
A Breville Bambino Plus.
And I have been making myself coffeesand I want to be a coffee girly.
Like I want to make myself, like specialty lattes at home.
Usually I would save that for goingout, but like, I want to be that girl
that makes those yummy pistachio cream, whatever, lattes that people see all

(08:03):
over Tik Like I want to do that too.
So that is, that issomething that's on my list.
Okay, sorry I got sidetracked fora second, moral of the story, grab
your coffee, this is going to be areflective, feel good, and dare I
say transformative time together.
You're gonna get a littlebit of coaching from me.

(08:23):
In this episode, and if you've beenhanging out with me over on Instagram,
you've probably seen me talkingabout your greatest comeback, which
is my one on one mentorship program.
Some incredible women have alreadyjumped in and we're working together now.
And I just know that this time togetheris going to change lives in 2025.

(08:47):
You're going to hear me talk aboutthis throughout the episode, but
if you want in , I only have twospots left right now at a crazy.
Discounted price.
I'm talking like unheardof for one on one coaching.
It's the lowest price I've ever offered.
So if you feel called and you wantto work with me directly at an

(09:08):
affordable price, set up a free callwith me and apply and let's chat.
See if it could be a good fit.
The link is going to bein the show notes for you.
All right.
Enough of all of the intro stuff.
We got down to the nitty grittyof exactly what it is that we're
doing, what this episode's about.
Feel free to pause when you needto, when I give you some of the

(09:30):
journal prompts and things like that.
Take your time with this episode.
The first thing that I want to talk aboutis investments that were worth my time.
In 2024.
So we're going to do a littlebit of reflection here.
And I want to talk aboutinvestments that weren't,
I'm not just talkingabout the financial ones.
Those are part of it too, but I'm talkingabout like where you invested your

(09:54):
time, your energy and your attention.
That is going to be really key.
One of the best investments thisyear was joining a six week inner
work mentorship where it was a spacethat I had to dedicate to meditating

(10:15):
every single day, sometimes twice.
And I really went inward.
It was.
Absolutely life changing for me.
It combined science and spiritualthings, which you guys all know is it's
my jam to really combine those two.
And it was led by one of my mentorsand it was so nice to just give

(10:39):
that time to myself, this likededicated little container and
pause doesn't come easy for me.
So to have these six weeks where Ijust got to work with my mentor and
learn and explore, that was the best.
So it was an investment of time, ofmoney, of energy, and I came out.

(11:04):
So healed, like healed in waysthat I never could have imagined.
And now I have even more tools touse on myself, on my clients but on
top of that, I didn't even join thisto manifest anything, but I ended up
manifesting so many things like daily, the craziest shit started happening to me.

(11:29):
You guys, I pitched somethingat work that really helped me
in my career that went so well.
My boss out of nowhere sent mea message about how meaningful
our relationship was to her.
I received a random.
Job offer, which I did not accept, but itwas the position that I want to move into.

(11:54):
I manifested 10, 000 ofcar repair work for free.
Crazy things like that, that just startedhappening when I truly connected with my
inner self and the things that I am tryingto uplevel myself and if I'm being honest,
There were some not so great investments.
I invested several thousands ofdollars getting my genetics tested.

(12:20):
If you've been listening to me fora while, you may know that I had a
thyroid health situation that I'vebeen healing for several years now.
It's just the worst when you investand this person that you trust, a
health coach that I followed fora long time and you finally like

(12:42):
take the leap and trust them.
And then they're like, see ya, youknow, here's all this information.
And that's the thing, like withgenetics, it, it's a lot of information
and scientific information youneed someone who is an expert, who
studies all of that to guide you.
And that's like what I thought thatI was paying for, but it was really

(13:04):
just the test and then I have allthese results, but I don't know what
to do with them or how to use them.
And yes, she did give me like a certainsupplement protocol that did help, but it
like Didn't even scratch the surface withhow in depth this whole process was with
your genetics And so that was definitelysomething that was Just not good.

(13:32):
It bugs me when people don't settheir clients up for success.
Like it irks me because when I workwith clients, I want to make sure that
I give you the tools to heal yourself.
Like the goal is so thatyou don't need me over time.
You know, like I want you tofeel successful on your own.

(13:55):
And so when you work with someone.
Where they don't set youup for success in that way.
It just is such a letdown.
And I just could not believethat someone could do that to me.
But you know, I guess the lessonis that the more that I have these
experiences, the better that Ican become in serving my clients

(14:16):
so I want you to pause and reflect.
These are journal prompts, by the way.
Okay.
What investments brought the biggestreturns in your life this year?
What felt like it drained your time, money, or energy without giving much back?
I want you to think about allthe different experiences that

(14:38):
you've gone through this year.
And what investment gave you time back?
That is a tricky one.
I was chatting over on Instagramwith someone and we were talking
about like how time is just movingso fast and how we wish that we

(14:58):
could just like slow down time.
Well, we actually can.
And that comes with whatwe choose to invest our.
Our time with that helps us feellike we can slow things down.
We can savor things, wecan appreciate things.
So what investment gave you time back?
Maybe you made an investment to gofor walks this year or to like start

(15:20):
doing more walks or maybe go on hikes, connecting with nature that can actually
give you the essence that you aregetting time back because you're making
the most of the time that you have.
We can literally slow it down.
When we slow down and mostimportantly, what investments
are you wanting to make in 2025?

(15:42):
And again, we're talkingnot just about money.
We're talking about energy.
We're talking about attention, focus.
What investments are you making in 2025?
Because let me tell you, when youstart thinking like the financial
boss that you are in order to becomefinancially free and in charge, every

(16:07):
investment feels more intentional, right?
Speaking of investments, your greatest comeback is.
One that I'm so proud of.
I'm so passionate about it.
It's not just a program.
It's a game plan for rebuildingyour life with intention.
We talked about my experience of whathappens inside of a dedicated container

(16:30):
and all the things that I got thisyear for my container that I joined.
But when we put our time andour focus back into ourselves.
It's everything.
It just creates this space ofintentionality to really dial it in, to
really practice and learn some thingsabout ourselves to help us really get

(16:52):
to where it is that we want to go.
That's exactly what this program is, andit's the perfect way to start off 2025.
Okay, so let's shift our way overto our peak and pit of the year.
If you're new here, the peakis your highlight moment.

(17:12):
The part of the year that makes yousmile when you just think about it.
And the pit, well, that's the low point.
The struggle.
The hard period, the hard lesson,I want to talk about my pit first.
Need to actually think about how Iwant to say this because I don't think

(17:33):
I've actually talked about it, publiclyor really very much, so my pit was a
situation that happened probably overthe course of the last several years.
I have a neighbor who.
is an abuser, they abuse their spouse, their children, and their pets.

(18:01):
And you guys know me and how much Ilove animals, how much I love my dogs.
Like, my dogs are like my kids.
I was exposed daily to all differentkinds of abuse did what I needed to do.
To try to help the situation, try to mediate the situation.

(18:25):
But there's only so much that you can do.
Like people eventually arejust the way that they are.
One thing about me is like, I'mnot going to force a journey on
somebody that doesn't want it.
I did everything that I could do and itjust became really traumatizing for me

(18:47):
to be experiencing these things everysingle day, multiple times a day to
where I didn't even want to be outside.
My dogs didn't want to be ina certain part of my yard.
Because of these people, itwas really challenging for me.
It felt like I was entrusting withcertain systems that have been put in

(19:12):
place and praying for these people, for the animals, praying for everyone
involved, praying for my own peace.
And I felt like I was really tested.
In this situation.
Actually one of the thingsthat I want to do in 2025 is do
more advocacy work for animals.

(19:36):
And I felt so conflicted because I waslike, there's this thing that's happening
literally in my backyard every day.
And I'm doing all thethings, there were neighbors.
Who filed complaints and things likethat and things just weren't getting
resolved until these people moved out.

(19:59):
And it's really sad , because there wasno justice for all the victims, the pets,
the spouse, and this person will likelygo on living their lives just as they are.
I pray that they find theirown healing journey too.
And I have to really take that lessonin what I learned in that I really

(20:25):
stood up for what I believe to be right.
It didn't make it any easier though.
My nervous system was reallyfried from having to just hear
all of that on a daily basis.
So that was definitely my pit forthe year, learning how to manage

(20:46):
my triggers, learning how to work inmy surroundings, how to protect my
peace, how to protect my energy, howto re bless my land that I live on so
that it can be a harmonious, peacefulenvironment for me and for my dogs
and for all of nature that lives here.

(21:07):
I live in the mountains andthere's so much wildlife out here.
And for a minute, itjust felt kind of dead.
And so we're, we're tendingto our own landscapes here,
okay, so let's shift gears.
I want to talk about my peak thereason why I wanted to talk about
my pit is because my peak isthat I really came into my own.

(21:32):
You know, if you move into a newspot, It doesn't truly feel like
home because you got to decorate it.
You got to make it feel cozy.
And I was creating aninternal home this year.
I had a lot of manifestationsover the last couple of years that
I really upgraded in life with.

(21:54):
And so it's almost like, yeah, youmoved into the new home, the brand new
home, energetically, not, literally, but this year was about doing the
decorations and really just anchoringin to this new level that I've upgraded
I talk a lot about comeback eraswanting to encourage and help everybody

(22:16):
step into their own comeback era.
And the thing is that yourcomeback era Doesn't have to end.
It doesn't have to be thefirst year out of your divorce.
I think it was alsothe realization for me.
Is that I have been in my comeback erafor years, there were some triggers that
came up, and feeling like I was taken backto a place that I didn't want to be in.

(22:40):
And I was like, Oh God, here we go again.
But when I realized that I had allthe tools and how I was handling
things so much differently.
I knew how to bounce back instantly.
I knew how to helpsettle my nervous system.
I knew all of the things that Ineeded to do to step into my own, to

(23:01):
act as my higher self, to take thevalue, to learn the lesson and grow
through it faster than I would have.
It was also that realization too, that like, that's why I get so excited
because like every time I up level,it's just part of my comeback era

(23:21):
evolving your comeback era startsand ends whenever we decide I've been
coming back and coming home to myselffor the last eight years, and it just
has been the most beautiful evolution.
And so that was definitely my peak.
Thank you also for holdingspace and hearing me

(23:44):
But I hope that that sparkedsome thoughts for you.
These are your journal prompts right here.
So again, pause this if you needto take a second to think and
reflect and write this down.
What was your peak moment this year?
And what was your pit moment?
You don't have to do them in that order.

(24:05):
You can start with thepit and do the peak.
And then what did both of thosemoments actually teach you?
I'm going to assume that you paused andare ready to jump into the next section.
Okay, the next section is jumpingover to choosing a theme for 2025.

(24:27):
One of my favorite year end rituals is toalso choose a theme for the upcoming year.
Picking either a word or a phrasethat acts like an internal compass.
This year I have two.
One of my themes is trusting that Ihave all of the answers that I need.
And the other one is living with ease.

(24:51):
So these two things are prettysimple, but they're powerful.
And I want you to think about this.
We're going to do an exercisewith these in the next section.
But for right now, I just wantus to focus on an actual theme.
So what are words or phrases thatcapture how you want to feel in 2025?

(25:14):
Really think about it,try to narrow it down.
Um, but those are going to be,my intentions and my themes.
So that's the first question.
The second question is what intentiondo you want to carry with you every day?
I want you to write it down, stickit on your mirror, make it your phone

(25:36):
wallpaper, whatever works for you.
And then I want you to start writingdown what you're going to be doing.
looking for proof, looking for proofthat those two things are true.
So for example, one of my themes is.
Living with ease.
I have started looking for proofin my life these last couple weeks

(25:59):
that things can come with ease.
So even just last night I was admiring mytwo dogs and telling them how much I love
them and I was like, you know what, youguys just bring so much Ease to my life.
So when we start to focus on lookingfor proof, the proof will appear.

(26:20):
So that's why themescan be really powerful.
And for extra accountability, I wantyou to DM me what your theme is and
PS, this is something that we goreally deep into inside your greatest
comeback, really coming home to yourself.
Because when we leadfrom our true essence.

(26:41):
Everything falls intoplace because it has to.
It's actual facts.
And the hardest part is often themindset, being able to know what to
look for, how to consistently showup for yourself so that you can start
hitting new goals so, that is reallykey and something that we really focus
on inside of your Greatest Comeback.

(27:03):
Okay, the next section is why couchrotting needs to be on your goal list.
Couch rotting.
That was something that I actuallyrealized that I loved doing.
I couldn't really get on thebandwagon with couch rotting.
I would see it all over social mediauntil I had this realization like,
Oh my gosh, when I sit on the coucheating pizza, watching housewives

(27:25):
for, you know, five hours straight, that's straight couch rotting.
I love this.
So I actually.
Encourage activities like this.
Sometimes it's needed to do a littlemindless scroll , if you know what I mean.
We can normalize couch rotting asa legit goal, especially for us
women who are doers and we becomeaddicted to finding things to do

(27:48):
multitasking, things like that.
Couch rotting doesn't actuallycome easy and it often comes
with a lot of guilt around it.
Like thinking of all thethings that we should be doing.
Or having it just not feel good becauseby the end of doing something like
that, you're like, Oh, I was so lazy.
I was unproductive, blah, blah, blah.
We have all this shame talkthat we say to ourselves.

(28:09):
But sometimes the best thing that youcan do is rest and like chill out for me,
some of my goals for 2025 look like,um, reading 12 books, one book a month.
Uh, I mentioned earlier about wanting tomake coffee shop style coffee at home.
We also talked about how I wantto start advocating for animals.

(28:33):
So I'm going to be volunteeringand helping, um, My local animal
shelter with their social media.
I also want to take mygrandma to senior bingo night.
We used to love playing bingo so much.
So that's something that I want to do.
I want to pay off my car and Iwant to work from outside more in

(28:54):
my yard that I have been reallyputting a lot of love back into.
You guess what the theme is here andit's writing down goals, but as you can
see with some of my goals, they're nothard, things like committing to a workout
or losing 20 pounds, things like that.
These are more about creating ease inmy life because that's the theme this

(29:19):
is all around creating goals andleaning into things that you want
to experience, not just accomplishand crossing another box off.
I want you to take the themethat you wrote down And then
build out goals from there.
What makes you feel the mostalive and nurtured within these

(29:44):
themes that you picked foryourself that you can break down?
What does that actuallylook like in your life?
Right.
So for example, for me.
Living a life of ease.
Living a life of ease means taking timeto make myself a coffee shop style drink
at home, reading books, volunteering, going to senior bingo nights.

(30:05):
Those are my idea of what alife of ease looks like for me.
Your life of ease, if that is yourtheme, could look very different.
So I want you to start thinking aboutexperiences that you can do that
are going to help you fulfill thattheme and make those your goals.

(30:26):
And let me remind you.
Rest isn't lazy.
It's essential.
This is what I'm talking aboutas far as planting those mental,
emotional, and energetic seeds, isbuilding up these experiences that
just feel so much more gentle andthey feel so much more exciting.
Why?

(30:46):
Because we're leaning into the themethat is coming from our innermost
desire, what we want most for ourselves.
Pause this segment and go write downsome goals that are aligned with what
you want to experience within the themethat you chose in the last section.

(31:08):
I'll see you in the next one.
All right, we are almost at theend and I want to wrap this up
with a little vision boarding.
One of my favorite tools is this chatGPT comeback prompt that I created.
It's called a day in your comeback life.
What I love so much about it is thatit utilizes the power of AI to help us

(31:31):
create things that we can't yet see.
Especially for women who've gone througha divorce, and we are so fearful of the
unknown of the future because, not becausewe're scared of the good things, but
it's because we're living from our pastof things that we don't want to happen.
And so it can be really hard tolook forward to Our, our goals and a

(31:53):
good year because we're so stuck inthe past, in our trauma of thinking
that we're just going to relive it.
And so we're doing all of thesethings, focusing from our past
mindset versus our future mindset.
And AI just completely takes that emotionout of it and allows you to just plug in
your goals, your themes, actually giveyou a day in the life of your dream self.

(32:19):
